Popular Post insaneeeRob
Platinum Maneater Okay this game was super fun and it didn't felt like a chore to complete. At first it was a little bit hard to kill the objectives being low level but if you do the side missions, looks for collectibles and eat tons of fish you're gonna level up super fast! I'm glad nothing glitched on me tho because my game crashed once and the stuttering was annoying as fuck!

Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
175 - Dredge (PS4) Enjoyed this game so much I platinumed it twice Even wrote some fan mail to the developers (only the second time I’ve ever done that) and they actually responded which I thought was awesome. They are a very small indie team based out of New Zealand and it took them two years to make this game, so please support it so we get a sequel at some point If you like stardew valley, or harvest moon type cozy games I would definitely recommend you try this. Definitely has that addicting one more day type gameplay you find in those games. I always thought there should be more games about commercial fishing, like with a boat (I believe the only one I ever heard of/played was deadliest catch Alaskan fishing, which was more of a sim and I didn’t enjoy too much). That mixed with some light horror elements (I love horror) really sold me on this game. There is some new story dlc coming at the end of this year, and the dev told me it will have trophies, so can’t wait for that! 9/10 game for me, my only complaint is I wish it was longer. No annoying trophies either, pretty enjoyable platinum all in all. Edited July 16, 2023 by Mr_Fluffy_Pants_

Popular Post NZBigC
A few games I got earlier this month: Apex PredatorObtain all the Trophies. Fairly straightforward game with no real tricky trophies. This game glitched dozens of times though and I had to quit out of the game each time. Other than that, pretty fun, especially being able to ride on a sabretooth! Friends ForeverUnlock all other trophies in My Friend Peppa Pig ? The Real HeroGet all the Trophies Another easy game, although maxing out every character was boring as anything. Have you ever tried Shawarma?Collect every trophy Just got into Lego games recently because of my children and this is the second one I have gotten the platinum trophy for. Very fun messing about in the world hub unlocking random characters and vehicles.
Popular Post HDP_Reap
#25: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Platinum in 1 Month, 1 Week Rarity: 31.67%, Uncommon Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 I have grown up on Star Wars since I was just a toddler, and this has been one of my most anticipated games of 2023 after I played the absolute masterpiece that was Fallen Order. I enjoyed every single second of this game and I was addicted the moment I picked it up. The combat has only been improved, and THE LIGHTSABER STANCES! Cal has clearly grown since he came out of hiding on Bracca, and it is evident from the very start. The story delves so deep into Cal’s character, his fight with the dark side, and his relationship with the crew of the Mantis and the loss of his trusted allies. Darth Vader. Fucking. Rules. Rest in Peace Cere. I cannot believe the quality of this game. Sure, it had bugs, and I had to wait a few weeks to get the Caij Match trophy, but this game has impressed me beyond belief. A remarkable game, and I can’t wait for the finale to Cal’s story. Amazing job Respawn!
Popular Post shadaik
#88 Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Be Yourself Incidentally, the first open-world Spider-Man game I played where New York doesn't turn into a literal warzone so the world has stuff to do in it (happened in both Marvel's and Web of Shadows). Another excellent Sony Spidey game, this time with a more personal story centering on and taking place mostly within Miles' family wqhile Peter is in europe, presumably hunting Miles Morales' evil european twin Kilometers Ethics. They tried to make a Spidey game without recruiting every single villain the sixty year publication history of the character has to offer into one story and it worked really well.I think it doubles as the best piece of Harlem-related media I've seen so far. Small oddity: In the final boss fight, the boss kept telling me to "just leave", but when I went out of bounds of the boss fight area, she would drag me back in. Only to tell me at the very end "I gave you every chance to just go!"I haven't read the words "ludonarrative dissonance" in a while, so there you go! Fun: 9/10 Length: 7/10 Plat: 3/10 #89 Zero Zero Zero Zero (Vita) Platinum Zero Just adding the Vita stack after my memory card had failed the week before. Tight platformer that is a really hard game to complete but an easy enough platinum because you don't need to finish every level. But you can, if you want to. Took me exactly as long on Vita as on PS4, though I did miss the moment I got the last standard mode trophy and so ended up playing almost half an hour longer at which point I realized I needed to do one hardcore level and did that. Still, was not bored those additional 30 minutes. Fun: 7/10 Length: 6/10 Plat: 2/10

Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #79 Live A Live LIVE A LIVE Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time: 25+ hours Live A Live is a very niche RPG, when it came to the Nintendo Switch last year it came out around a not very ideal time, Stray had just released and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was about to come out so I was like "I'll buy it later" but that later never came because of time, other games and money but when they announced the PS4/PS5/PC version I was like "I missed the first train, but there's always a second one. And here we are, while this was very much an in between game for me, it was a lot of fun.And if anyone wants to give this classic RPG a try, I can recommend it. Let's start with the things that made this a positive experience: + I love all the settings, every timeline feels very unique in terms of settings, story, and music. It made every story to look forward to. + It's no wonder because Yoko Shimomura is a great composer, but the music is a blast, especially Megalomania and Go! Go! Steel Titan! + The bosses are cool, they're all really unique and they're just fun. + Same with the superbosses, they're very unique. + I like the characters, some are obviously more charming then others but they're charming. + I loved how all the stories came together, they did really well with that. Some lesser things but nothing too bad: - Getting Mimic Mammet was a bit of a pain, I had to replay one chapter because I messed that one up. Thankfully it didn't take long to get it. - I complained about this a while ago, but this one's 100% my fault, I nearly softlocked myself, when I did one of the trials had some trouble with the Jaggedy Jacks (one of the superbosses) and because I felt like one save slot was fine (The one time I think that), I nearly softlocked myself, I almost had to restart the entire chapter. Thankfully after many tries I was able to get through it but that nearly made me quit the game. - Because of the multiple endings I had to do the final boss multiple times, thankfully I only had to do the true final boss once. Aside from that, it's a fantastic game, I hope that the game gets more noticed but I can say that I really appreciate my experience of this game and I can't wait for the next HD-2D game. And here's the not so interesting platinum screenshot:
Popular Post Boomshanks
( 91) STRAY ALL DONE Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 I can imagine a lot of people getting this platinum now, since the game will be leaving PS Extra soon. Stray is a game where you play as a cat, which was enough to sell me on it. You are a cat who gets separated from its pack and ends up in a strange world with a robotic companion where you have to solve puzzles and slowly get to experience more about the world around you. It’s a fun short game that is perfect to play between longer games. I actually really liked the movement system, since it felt very catlike to make those perfect jumps everywhere, even though it can somewhat slow down the pace of the game. For me, the game is mostly about exploring and solving some simple puzzles. The world is interesting and it feels like game design in a more simplistic form, which is absolutely fine by me. The chapters are relatively short and the areas are quite small so I tried to get everything without using a guide. The developers put some great mannerisms of cats in this game, such as brushing against someone’s leg and pushing stuff of edges. Now that I’ve done it myself, I can imagine why cats have a tendency to do this as well. The press O to meow is also an instant game seller and seeing the cat curl up to sleep just melts my heart ?. I would have liked the ability to customize the cat so I could model it after our own black cat, but oh well. It takes about 5 hours to complete the game if you take the time to explore, which I would recommend on your first playthrough. After that, there is a chapter select option that you can use to get all of the miscellaneous trophies. The speedrun trophy isn’t all that difficult if you use a guide. I just started a new game so I could time myself and would sometimes play a chapter on a different save first to get the hang of it, before completing it in the speedrun. I see a lot of people complaining about the first Zurk run and though I understand it can be frustrating, I didn't find it unreasonable ?. You can immediately restart the checkpoint if you get caught and there are certainly some techniques and paths that greatly reduce the risk of being caught. Even though there is some randomness involved, it didn't feel like an RNG trophy at all. I think it took me about 30 minutes of retries to get the trophy. Stray is a fun game with an interesting and touching story and it was worth the price of admission just for being able to play as a cat ?. Even though I loved it, I don’t understand the extreme hype and the game of the year nominations it got. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great. It just feels a bit overhyped in that regard simply because you play as a cat. I loved my time with it though, and it was a simple and short platinum which was great since that allowed me to get it before it is removed from PS Extra.
Popular Post Moridin83
#273 Red Faction Have you ever seen a game on deep discount, added it to your cart, then had to ignore Admiral Ackbar babbling about dead Bothans before clicking purchase? Yeah, he was right, it's a trap. This game frustrated me to no end, not because it's the hardest game ever, but because the plat is miserable for multiple reasons. I expect classic games to show their age, but this one does so in all the worst ways. Graphics aren't an issue, I expect them to suck on a PS2 classic, but for a FPS, the controls here are almost unforgiveable. With the exception of sniper weapons there's no ADS, and fine aim is so useless it's not even worth re-binding it off of R3. The "snap lock" doesn't lock in a meaningful way much of the time, so you get to enjoy missing repeatedly while "locked on", with no real way of influencing it, and on the higher difficulties, it feels like your enemies are entirely consistent of clones of John Wick, with how accurate they are. It's not insurmountable, thanks to being able to save anytime, but it also means you're not really "playing" in a traditional sense, so much as constantly save scumming after almost every kill, to ensure you didn't take too much damage or use too much ammo. It breaks any possible flow, but is almost required. Trophy wise, the no civilian kill run may or may not be buggy. It's doable, but either it can glitch, or you can kill a civilian with no knowledge or notification, and the corpses disappear, so you won't find out until the end of your (now pointless) run. Difficulty doesn't stack, so you need to play the entire game a minimum of 4 times. The trophy guide has a difficulty of 6/10, and that feels about right, but the frustration level for me was off the charts, since the two highest difficulty runs just never let me settle in to feel like I was playing for any real length. I spent more time S/L than playing on impossible for sure. Maybe if you have nostalgia for the game from it's initial release, you'll like it more than I did, but if you never played it before and are just picking it up to check out, listen to the Admiral, and steer clear of this.

Popular Post PakaloloPlant
Platinum 25 - A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… The game is great, but the grind to platinum was tedious and boring that it took me a month just to finish it. I think what makes this grind not fun for most is that it has you doing the same stuff for multiple different things. My first lego game to get a platinum and 100% complete it.
