Popular Post insaneeeRob
All Done Telling Lies Well this was just another easy story game. Too much videos to watch and nothing that interesting to say about it. I think I’m gonna watch a full montage of the videos on youtube just to understand the story better. The only trophy that gave me trouble was the solitaire game lol I don’t know how to play thst shit and it took me like 40 extra minutes!
Popular Post Spageos
#32: Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. I'm new to the Atelier series but... this game was quite relaxing to play and platinum compared to some of the other games I own. I found it to be a pretty nice game with a very decent story and a solid cast overall. I'm definitely hoping to finish the trilogy this year and then go back and play the older games.

Popular Post Jermster_91
#139 Stranded Deep There are a lot of people going for this game because of a glitch allowing people to join someone who has already gotten the Platinum for this game. For some, it was quick and easy, yet for myself, it took me an hour to find someone to get the platinum for this game.
Popular Post shadaik
#86 Gardener's Path Harmony! Oh, look, I missed a ratalaika game in my clean-up! One of the few that actually make you play through the entire game, which I appreciate. This game goes hard on the backstory, spinning an epic fantasy yarn about a post-apocalyptic world and an ancient goddess creating vents to produce oxygen in underground gardens the player has to tend. The PC is a gardener who only moves in a burst of direction until she runs into something, because she's somewhat overzealous, I guess. Every five levels something new gets introduced, with 60 levels overall. Very classic 2D puzzler that gets challenging real quick, though there are guides out there. I ended up playing about half on my own and half with a guide. That is one beautiful art on the plat, though! Fun: 7/10 Plat: 1/10 with guide - 5/10 without Length: 7/10
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #296 Thunder Kid II: Null Mission Thunder Runner II Unlock all other trophies. Another lame platinum. I like the game(s), but I hope if the dev makes more they add different weapon types like Mega Man or something. Would add a nice variety. and if there’s more to have the platinum at least require beating the game. ?The Steam achievements aren’t this lazy. I don’t get it. Lazy trophies like “beat game” are one thing but when it isn’t even for finishing the game that’s just such a bummer. love the visuals. Hated the purple water/swamp area tho it was glitchy and weird. Idk the intent. Been waiting for a better sale on the game on PC, but sometimes the purple water did nothing you could walk and run and jump normally. Other times you’d be slowed and stuck. Like two times you could mash jump to eventually get out but most of it was getting stuck and needing to reload a save and those levels have some tight jumps.

Popular Post disaster500
#80 Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure - 11.46% Personal Difficulty - 3/10 Time Played - 25 hours Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is a DLC for Borderlands 2, and for some reason it was released as a standalone game. This standalone version was even a monthly game on PS Plus (probably as an advertisement for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands), which was quite controversial, as it's not a full-length game. Not only that, a few years prior on PS Plus we got Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, which consists of 2 games and all DLC for them in one package (including Assault on Dragon Keep). If you had claimed the collection in 2019, this standalone DLC was literally worthless, you already owned the content in Borderlands 2. Very scummy move from Sony in my opinion. However, every cloud has a silver lining (or platinum lining in this case) as this standalone release has its own trophy list, and its own platinum. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is Dungeons and Dragons themed. Tiny Tina is basically the Dungeon Master, and she's playing with Lilith, Brick and Mordecai. You play as the BL2 Vault Hunters, trying to save the queen, "Butt Stallion" and defeat the Handsome Sorcerer to bring light back to the world. The maps, enemies and quests are all fantasy themed, pretty much the only thing that isn't themed is the guns, which are mostly unchanged from BL2. The BL2 combat, loot and humour is still here, and makes for a fun time. A lot of the trophy list is copy/pasted from BL2, with slight tweaks and a few new trophies. You have to beat the story, get max level, do all side quests, do all level 1 Badass Challenges etc. However more thought should've been put into the list, as there's a few problems. Firstly, levelling has been changed and the level cap is 35, instead of requiring level 50 for a trophy like in BL2 and TPS. This would be fine, but even after 2 full playthroughs, I was only level 29, and there's no UVHM (basically Borderlands NG++) in this the highest level enemies are only level 29-32. And XP gained from underlevelled enemies is greatly reduced here. By the time you're level 33-34, a lot of those enemies are only giving less than a third of the XP they should, and there's no way to avoid that. Secondly, the Cute Loot trophy requires you to kill a Chubby enemy, which is a very rare spawn. BL2's base game is not only much longer (giving you more time to encounter one), but most enemy types have a Chubby version. In this standalone DLC, the only enemy type that can be Chubby are Skeletons, and the main story is much shorter. Many people had to farm for hours after doing literally everything else, just hoping one spawns. Luckily I found and killed one whilst grinding out character Action Skill trophies, which brings me to the third point. The DLC characters Gaige and Krieg are included in this trophy list, so you have your main character plus 5 more Action Skill trophies instead of 3. Most of them aren't that bad, but Salvador's and Zer0's require you to get very far through the main story to be a high enough level to get the necessary skills. Overall, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is a great DLC for Borderlands 2, but it probably should've stayed as a DLC. More care should've been put into the trophy list for this standalone version. If you ignore the trophies, there's no reason for this version to exist, as you should play BL2's base game first anyway to get context on the characters. I guess it's worth playing if you played BL2 first like I did, and want to play this DLC with a full trophy list and platinum. Popular Post Kefka1986
#161: Biomutant Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Platinum number 161!!! I liked this game more than I expected to. This game offers a lot of content, the world feels alive and is fun to explore... You can create your own character, choosing between several classes, and explore the world with your guns, it's fun!!! And the platinum wasn't a headache at all, which is nice. It is one of those mixed-reviews games that either sucks for you or somehow manages to bring you an enjoyable experience, I'm glad it was the later!

Popular Post shadaik
#87 Stranded Deep Stay Alive! Yup, another one. I don't have a shower right now because my bathroom is being rebuilt. I never regretted this timing more than right now. In all seriousness, I did deliberate quite a bit but came to the conclusion that I probably just had this game sitting there with nothing done in it anymore, so I might as well get this out of the way. Turns out the thing I like about SD the least is progressing its intended story. Now I can just build my base and vibe on my isle. Not going to rate this, obviously. Biggest challenge right now is finding a game to join that is not full. And getting the game to realize I am not in Russia - the region auto detect seems a tad off. With that, suddenly just 9 more trophies to 5,000. I already know which one that is gonna be even if that means delaying finishing Miles Morales. because my next trophy on that game is "Just the Beginning" which is a perfect name for that milestone. Popular Post Redgrave
#282: Helios - Returnal I figured I would also get this since it was on Extra as well as having co-op. It's kind of hard to describe the game but it's pretty interesting since it is a rouge-like that kind of plays into the whole looping thing. The twist after you complete Act 1 was pretty cool and I was hoping that things would have been better explained by the end through the true ending but I felt it left more questions than answers and I guess it's more or less up to your own interpretation. Normally I'm not a fan of that but I think I could give some leeway here since you do get something of an explanation to some things and there is lore to go around. The gameplay loop can be pretty satisfying if you can get the weapons you want. For me I only really liked two weapons those being the carbine and the Hallowseeker. The carbine can be a pretty strong weapon in general and the Hallowseeker is at its best when it has the Portal trait to it where it just summons a portal to shoot a laser that auto-tracks enemies making fights go better and the final boss a lot easier. As far as the other weapons go I didn't really care for much of them like the rocket or grenade launchers and then there were some like the Electropylon Launcher and Coilspine Shredder which I feel like very few people would really get mileage out of if they dedicate themselves to them. Thankfully you aren't forced into sticking with just one or having to use all of them and can just use which one feels best. There is also the DLC where you go through the Tower of Sisyphus which is basically just a gauntlet mode with an extra boss and some extra story bits. But with it comes a new weapon called the Disgorger which was pretty fun to use. It can come in a variety of types but my favorite is the quad-swarm Disgorger since it spins up and fires a bajillion lasers while making a pretty sick drumming sound that annihilates all non-boss enemies and can damage the actual boss a fair amount. As far as trophies go I guess originally when it came out it was considered really hard because you couldn't back up your save or suspend sessions so you could beat a boss but with the updates that's now a thing so I guess the difficulty is slightly lowered now. Some of the bosses and the later levels can be pretty rough but on doing a second playthrough the bosses weren't that bad. The worst part of the Platinum is the collectibles since these are RNG collectibles which means having to restart cycles just to see if you can get them to spawn. The worst ones being the ciphers since they aren't numbered and you have to keep track of them yourself which is really weird considering the audio logs are numbered. Beyond those it's basically just beating the game and some misc things that aren't too bad. Overall a pretty unique game and I have to give it extra points for having Don't Fear the Reaper play in one segment as well as the credits.
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #297 Blind Men Platinum Men Get all other trophies Been on my Steam backlog awhile and was on sale on PS. Finally played it. It’s okay. Some amusing moments of humor, and it’s fun to play an aspiring super villain. but one character route kind of ruins the other in that it has a certain other character so X but it’s not addressed in the other routes for the other character. So I’m just too aware of things going on to not be distracted by it. music is annoying at times. Has like 10 lines of voiced dialog in Spanish. The art isn’t that great, but it’s inoffensive. one step closer to FFVI. I just need some breaks during Elden Ring. I should’ve spaced it out a bit more from DS2 and Lords of the Fallen.

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #740: Hogwarts Legacy Difficulty: 3/10 Playtime: 70-75 hours Come all ye bold muggles and squibs... and attend the tale of The Boy Who Lived to See the Making of a Harry Potter-Adjacent Game That Came Within the Breadth of the Heartstring of a Dutch Knuffeldraak of Embodying the Harry Potter-Adjacent Game He Had Always Seen Reflected in the Mirror of Erised of His Mind Palace Ever Since Those Halcyon Days of Wee Nipperdom... yeah, I know, I'm working on the title. Well, here we are, then... Snodgrass Apostasy. ...Well, is it a tale with a happy ending? I suppose I may well have intimated the tone and tenor of said in said title... but, it's never really about the destination, isn't it? Yep, like ol' Scrooge (the duck one; and not the unforgivable SuckFails remake iteration just so we're clear) once said--under the influence of impending dementia, likely as not--it's all about Dream and Friends. So come with me now, on a journey both dreamy and friendy, across them there bonnie braw hills of Scotland... one that not even Craig the Tour Guide could hope to dampen with his, ahem, unique brand of enthusiasm. Now, were I to summarize my experience into an adjective (it may also be a verb?) and an affirmative, it would follow thusly, and I quote: Fucking YES. Sachertorte Pleurisy is a bloody wonder... about as good as it could be, within the framework of a modern open world pole-glaying rame. Capturing the wit, verve, and heart of the literary touchstones of She Who Must Not Be Named with rare deftness of adaptationary acumen... well, what can I say... you'd best start believing in Magic, poppet, because now... you're in one! Hmm, that's one reference what sounded better in my head... well, it's your problem now! More room in my noggin for important stuff like which Kanker sister you'd want beside you in a zombie apocalypse. Flashy and chaotic spellcasting combat; mysteries gone unsolved for centuries; needlessly malevolent magical objects; largely moral underpinnings of resonant Goodness; collecting effin' troll bogeys: all the key ingredients of a ripping Wizarding yarn are readily present, and mix together exceptionally well into a heady and filling concoction of Pure Phantasmagorical Potterness that should satisfy anyone but the very unfairly demanding. Just as it should be, the titular castle of Seepgood is a joy to traverse even aimlessly, with centuries of magical history to uncover... and the universe literally expands with the inclusion of the castle's surrounding environs, rendered in all their verdant highland glory. There's a lot more to this outside world than just the admittedly singular pleasures of a Butterbeer and cheeky snog in Hogsmeade, and don't you half doubt it. So... I'm not very good at ambling about gushing praise like some sort of bubbly unicorn fountain of positivity, so I won't belabour that point much further. I would just like to stress what a special experience it was, and ultimately, how comparatively little of the ensuing points of criticism, be they constructive or otherwise, truly affected the totality of it all. I don't much care for an analytical approach to the positive aspect of an experience... they are meant to be, well, experienced, and whatever... weird... brainy... things cause them to be perceived as such cannot be explained by the wisest of men, let alone a gluntzy klutzy dolt such as myself. The older I get, the more I appreciate the finer points of the human mind's seemingly invariable ability to glean more nuances from the negative than the positive. Oh well, maybe it's just a weird Me Thing, but hey ho... Expecto Criticism! Speaking of Me Things, here's a real doozy... there is something strangely disheartening about seeing the Forbidden Forest--looming impossibly large in my mind's eye even unto this very day--rendered as a fairly bogstandard medium-sized forest that can even be flown over in a shake of a Thestral's determinantly invisible tail. I would've preferred it to be a separate area that looks smaller on the outside than it really is... and once you're in, well, think Lost Woods on steroids, maybe with some random Roguelite stuff thrown in there. Now that's a Forbidden Fucking Forest. Contrastingly, the castle itself does feel rather expansive, not least because its tricky layout never quite allows you to feel quite sure where to go. This too may not be quite at the scale I had envisioned, but I guess we'll have to chalk it up to the dual causes of format limitations and the almost annoyingly expansive imagination with which I was bestowed. Well, are you disappointed at the rampant and presumably unrelatable subjectivity of my misgivings yet? Self-indulgent exorcisory exercises and little else, I'll admit. Well, we can always get cracking with something a bit more basic, I guess... I mean, if you really want to. Well, it hardly gets more basic than the clunky and unimaginative name of your standard attack spell, the *groan* Basic Cast. Really, you couldn't have just called it, uhh, "Attackticus" or something? It's terrible, but at least it's something. It just stands out like a sore thumb in a universe that lives and dies by its propensity for goofy names. And while we're on the subject of spells, the spell-based gameplay can ofttimes be less than optimal. Navigating the spell wheels can prove a mite troublesome in pressing situations, nevermind the stress of trying to remember which ones are presently on cooldown. And because you are limited to four sets of four spells at any time, there's a whole bunch of puzzle-solving ones you'll have to switch in and out all the time if you want to maintain prime combat efficacy, because some genius decided you can't just simply cast a spell, no matter its commonality of use, without having it adhered to one of the wheels. A problem easily remedied by allowing you separate sets for out-of-combat situations... but what do I know, I just have the gift and/or curse of a keen problem-solving mind here. Oh, and hearing your character chant "REVELIO" constantly while pinging about for goodies is grating to say the least... especially in a universe where non-verbal spellcasting has long since been an established fact. I also do not care at all for the game's casually tone deaf attitude towards dark magic... even if the Unforgivable Curses are thankfully optional (and those who choose to learn them should have their trophies locked at the very least), seeing it just casually placed in amongst the skill trees... well, I made it through just fine without choosing the Losers' Path, now bloody didn't I. It's one of the few truly bad judgment calls, up there with allowing the decidedly dubious among you to become an accursed Shitlerin. Speaking of, they bungled a good chance or two to add some nuance to the deservedly chequered reputation of said house. Some things do not change, it seems... Now then... there's no getting around the giant toast-eating squid (how is it even managing to survive on land?) in the room... this is one of the least well-optimized games of its sort as has ever been released on the venerable PS4. Granted, some leeway must be afforded for being a downgrade from another platform, but this is well and truly beyond the veil--umm, pale. Whether indoors or out, geometry almost invariably fails to load at an agreeable pace. Turn around the right castle corner at high speed at the wrong time, and you'll be treated to a lovely view of missing architectural elements... if you're not lucky enough to enjoy a brisk and joyful sojourn to the endless pits of nothingness below. To say nothing of the outside areas, in which such falls are a constant risk... though if you're lucky, you'll be on your broom when it happens, allowing you to mitigate the situation and reach safe ground if you're quick enough. Suffice to say, if you're in the vicinity of an area that looks like it's had its fill of Low-Polyjuice Potion, just stop moving until it loads entirely. Usually, you'll be alright. Muddy pop-in textures and models are also chock-a-block. The slow checkpoint loading also adds an additional element of punishment to the odd Game Over. PS3 douche chills don't half cover it. Once you get acclimatized to these highly unnecessary goings-on, it can't quite be called a deal-breaker, but it is embarrassingly poorly done and the farthest thing from spellbinding. As a minor corollary to this... watching the unskippable Merlin Trial completion animation gets really old REALLY fast. And as an even smaller corollary to that, that's about my only grievance of note regarding what was a surprisingly fun and non-tiresome hunt for an, oh, only slightly insane total of 600 or so collectibles! It helps that the cave hoards are not required... but I'll be back for them someday! I would have liked the story to have had a bigger focus on life at school rather than the seemingly prerequisite Big Ol' World-Saving Plot du jour. I was really missing a proper house point system... even if, ah, it would have made the glorious victory of my beloved House Hufflepuff no less of an inevitability! The class sequences are a lot of fun, making the most of some choice QTE sequences. They help pick up the slack in character development where the story sometimes falters... they're just too few and far between. Side questage also provides a bevy of multifarious emotion, helping to add some more layers to the understandably applicably designed self-insert player character that the story tends to neglect. I'd say the main story feels more like the movies, whereas the side content is more book-like, if you get me. And I know on which side my, uhh, cornish pasty is buttered, or something. As previously stated and in no unequivocal terms, the good vastly outweighs the bad... if anything, I feel my laundry list of grievances seem only to accentuate the non-grievousness otherwise extant! This could've been just another reasonably enjoyable cash-in on a well-known brand... but the love, care, and craftsmanship that went into this is self-evident. It takes some guts to endeavour to weave your own skein of Wizarding World Wonderment and pull it off, and that they do, with a firm balance between the old and the new, as exemplified by the just-familiar-enough-sounding soundtrack. Truth be told, I haven't had this old time feeling about 'most anything Pottery since the release of Hallows... and that is a feeling more rare and precious than the Sorcer--uhh, I mean, the Philosopher's Stone! Now, just imagine what might've been had they consulted the expertise of someone like, say... myself. Y'know, I'm always available should you be considering some tentative plans for Hufflepuff Legacy II... just send me an owl any old time you fancy! The best possible Potteresque game experience may well still be in the cards... Final Score: 9/10
