Popular Post Boooda
Platinum #190 Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando (Vita) He Went Commando Another platinum from my all-time favorite series. The vita version has been a slow burn, started it ages ago and beat it but got side tracked by many other games and finally decided in the past few days to finish off the plat. The game has aged brilliantly, gameplay is slick and graphics are really good for a vita port. Everyones on about how the back touch bad was abysmal for strafing, which it was, but I tell you WHAT those vita thumbsticks were infuriatingly bad for the space ship race sections. Many a hair was pulled during those. But we all know this plat, many people have it so Im not going to say much else. 1 more ratchet plat till I have them all, and I might start it soon and get it before the remake next spring. 9 More plats till I start working towards #200 Enjoyment: 9 Difficulty: 3 Edited May 28, 2015 by Boooda
Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
#17 - Platinum trophy (DmC Devil May Cry) Difficulty: 6/10 - Hell and Hell and Furnace of Souls on Nephilim to get SSS really were the only things I struggled with, even though it says 2 years, each time I played it separately I got way better, tbh if I had started recently I could of done it way quicker but as a gamer, as one that is constantly improving, that's life. At least I got there Enjoyment: 9/10 - The one thing that bugs me, is the platforming and the dodging. It's not even the game, it's the fact that I was playing with a capture card so the reaction times were just awful at best. Still, even with the mass replaying I enjoy every second of it and I suggest this platinum to people who enjoy the franchise or even just like a harder hack and slash. What next? I'm tunneling away on Project Diva F and I got TLOU and Mw2 to deal with and maybe eventually MW3. Also shoutout to my efficiency, this is like my 6th platinum in like 100 trophies or something x'D

Popular Post Hoagie324
Plat #119: Mirror's Edge Over the Edge This platinum (and 100% w/ dlc) was super tough. The time trials made me want to pull out my hair and some of the speedruns were really unforgiving. However, I love this game and decided to get back into it and get that elusive platinum. One of my proudest plats Edited May 27, 2015 by Hoagie324
Popular Post Masamune
MithrarinAwakening I was completely surprised by this game, one of the (if not -the-) best PSN games I've ever played. Fun game-play, good story, the Platinum wasn't too hard or easy, I honestly can't think of anything to complain about. If I would've known it'd be this good, I would've got it a lot sooner, & if it ever gets a sequel, I'll definitely get it. The only thing that gave me a little trouble towards the Platinum was getting 4 stars on Cirelian Trial #4, that took me about 15-20 tries to get, the rest were pretty easy though. Also, I finished the game at Level 50 with Fidget's power at 12,420, the final Boss barely got any attacks off. & that reminds me... Who doesn't love Fidget? She's like Navi from Zelda, except less annoying & 100x more useful.

Popular Post Gregorymany
#104 GRAVITY RUSH It's all Relative This game have a unique gameplay, where you play a girl with the power to change gravity. It is fun and have a good story, and an average gamplay. The graphics are not that bad, but not that good either, and the environment are very simple. The touch controls sometimes make me mad, especially in the sliding challenges. It´s a good adventure game, but nothing too impressive.
Popular Post MatCauthon
#131 Final Fantasy X-2 HD Completion 6.00% - Very Rare I finally have this game off of my backlog after sitting there for about 8 months with only 2 trophies. I found this game very difficult to get into, and I absolutely hated it at first. I grew more tolerant towards it, but it will still rank as one of my least favorite games I've played recently. First off, I wasn't a fan of the battle system, primarily the dress spheres and garment grid gimmicks. I found them to be poorly implemented and cumbersome to use. Secondly, this game consists of a collection of the most annoying characters I've encountered. I don't understand how Yuna could tolerate being around such a gaggle of fools. Brother is at the top of the list as one of the most obnoxious characters in gaming. Every time I saw one of his goofy animations or heard his intolerable speech, I wanted to smash my Vita into the wall. Rikku is almost as annoying, more so in this game than the first FFX. Paine is your stereotypical stone-faced "tough-guy" female. The game itself is very easy after the first chapter. None of the trophies are particularly difficult. The trophies related to the two multi-floor dungeons are not too bad, but take a good bit of time. I also ended my first playthrough at 99% completion, and I'm still not sure what exactly I missed. It took me about an hour to run through the first chapter again in NG+ and choose the other side to get the completion up to 100%. I'm not exactly sure what happened with my timestamps on 3 of the trophies. When I finally went back to the game, I hadn't touched my Vita in months and was playing on old firmware while I was out of town. When I got home and upgraded the FW, I noticed "missing timestamps" on the list. I do recall having to reset the time on my Vita when I went back to it.

Popular Post snakebit10
#148 Ether One Can't really describe Ether One to well. The story was interesting but the game play wasn't the best. I did use a guide for a lot of the puzzles. Some of them would of took quite a bit to figure out. I only had the game crash a few times. First Ps4 game that I have played that I could tell a drop in frame rate. Thank goodness this was a PS plus freebie. It feels good to be back in the plat column. It had been a month and a couple hours since the last one. Was a rough month for me. Loosing my Mom had be thinking if I even wanted to continue to play games or not. I realize I got to keep on living and have fun while I can.
Popular Post Phlegeth
Hyperdimension Neptunia U Platinum Action Unleashed! You did everything you could do in Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed! "Congrats, completionists! Maybe I'll see you in a canonical game soon!" Since everything takes place in other dimensions, isn't every game canon? That Lily Lord trophy sucked. If not for the fact that I could have been on the Top 50, I probably would have taken my time with it. I have a theory about how there's two types of trophies in these games. You have like five trophies in the first few hours of the game, those are Compa's trophies. But trophies like Lily Lord and Millionaire, those are Iffy's trophies. I sensed some reality subtext from those post-game skits with those two.
Popular Post Lilseb93
#19 Ether One Difficulty: 2/10 (with guide), 4/10 (without guide) If you use a guide, this game is a very easy plat. The puzzles can be hard and even with a guide, I still had to figure some out because there is not a guide available yet with good commentary. The hardest part is just being patient through all the backtracking. Almost all of the trophies require collecting things, finding things, and solving all the puzzles. The hoarder trophy requires collecting 200 items, so make sure you put every item you see and use on the shelves. If you do this, you will get this naturally. It's buggy, so save often! Enjoyment: 6/10 It's nice to play a slower game, but I found this game rather boring. I wasn't interested in anything going on. Although the story being about dementia was touching. It's also buggy, but I played after the patches so I didn't have as rough as a time as other people. Overall, it was just too slow for me. I've never been into puzzle games anyways.

Popular Post Senbon Kaguya
#108 - Sly 3 (Vita) Master Thief Unlock all trophies for Sly Cooper's final outing. . .final? Really? And another Sly platinum added to my list! I'm glad I grew up with this series, its been a blast to go through them all yet again. Sly 3 was a step up from Sly 2, although there were some segments I just wanted to get over really fast (like clunky RC car sections or protecting Murray with the Panda King's turret.) Overall, I enjoyed going for the platinum again and now I just need to go through Sly 4 and Bentley's Hack Pack to have all Sly games finished off. (until a Sly 5 is announced.. which I'm hoping!)
Popular Post Mint-x-Tea
#44 Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Platinum a pretty boring platinum name for a game full of action and adventure. awesome story-line a big improvement in the game mechanics from the first two (yeah, you are allowed to throw back grenades!!) and still a decent challenge on crushing mode. sometimes it still drives me a little crazy i probably won't get in the top 10 of the fastest achievers with 3 years and 5 months but at least some backlog work done! now i need a little climbing, shooting, smacking people up, getting hit, getting shot, jumping around-break and then finish uncharted 2 - which is on my backlog even longer Edited May 28, 2015 by Alexi-Sama
Popular Post Omar
#59 - 100% Clear (Watch Dogs) This is the platinum trophy and is unlocked automatically when all the trophies have been unlocked (lol DUH) And my backlog polishing keeps its course, this time I wrapped up Aiden Pearce's Chicago crime cleaning. This game was my first PS4 title, too bad it excels at being meh at almost every single aspect. You can't really say the game is bad, but it does not stand out. AT ALL. While gameplay can be unique thanks to hacking, the protagonist is overall pretty dull, and same goes for most of the cast. The script is pretty generic as well but the plot was cool. The story mode is varied and entertaining, but side stuff is an utter dread!! Basically it makes you clear tooooons of missions of up to 5 types only, which results in around 15 mission of each kind aka TEDIOUS. However I wanted to wrap it up as my focus this year is boosting my completion rate (now almost at 84% ) Platinum number 60 is coming up next, you can give me advice on my Platinum Plateau so if you have cool ideas for me feel free to stop by and tell me Edited May 28, 2015 by Omar
Popular Post Makilio
#20: Samurai Warriors 4 (Unrivaled Warrior) This was my first game in the SW series, but it pretty much plays like every other Musou game (read: grindy and somewhat repetitive with multiple playthroughs of the same stages with no real reason), but I would say this is the best one I've played so far. While not completely accurate, it was nice to learn about the unification of Japan via Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Ieyasu. For those curious, about half a million Japanese souls were sacrificed to achieve this platinum.
Popular Post NotAFoxAnymore
Platinum #6 - Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse I loved this game, it's a lot of fun with little grinding and the humour is in line with the show. It's not a great game in its own right however I'm sure it would appeal to any Family Guy fan. The only part I struggled with was the final challenge since I had to do it solo..my only criticisms of the game would be that the story was kinda short and the game would crash or freeze sometimes.
Popular Post x410xDragon
#46 - Batman: Arkham Origins Gotta say, no doubt the easiest of the Batman games, but also the most annoying. I would have gotten this done a lot quicker if this blasted game did not have any MP trophies. Another thing which made it awful was the challenge modes; not because they were not hard as they were stupid easy compared to Arkham City, but because they make you do them three times instead of two. I will give the Custom challenges the benefit of the doubt, but it just gets boring after awhile. The story was good, but two times is enough.
markcavan
#34/35/36 goes to sound shapes - Game itself was fun enough in the campaign but found the Beat School somewhat pointless and used a guide to complete them. Then there is the death mode... dear god, HORRIBLE! Its 50% luck 50% skill, all depends on the position of the notes and I'd swear overtime the more you play a level the note position gets easier. Still, huge amount of trophies and points for completing it and easy enough addition to your trophy collection :-)

Popular Post Yoshi
#82 Platinum Action Unleashed! You did everything you could do in Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed!"Congrats, completionists! Maybe I'll see you in a canonical game soon!" Nep U is a pretty decent action spin off from the main series. The story isn't that great, but it still retains the humour and witty dialogue from the other games. In terms of gameplay it's basically just a musou game, but that isn't a bad thing as I love myself some musou action. Each of the 10 characters plays and feels unique, with Noire (obviously) and Dengekiko being my favourite characters to use. It's also my first Nep plat. \(*O*)/ Edited May 28, 2015 by Yoshi
Popular Post ScutumMagister
Mind Zero Omniscience - For the minder who knows everything. Really great game, in fact this is the second time I have obtained the plat for this game. It gets a lot of flak for the similarities to Persona 4 with people often comparing them and expecting this game to pretty much be a sequel to Persona 4. You know, in spite of the fact it's completely different companies working on each one . I say games should be judged on their own and this one definitely stands on it's own legs. The ending really leaves you wanting a sequel since it has a semi-cliffhanger ending. The game is supposed to come to Steam and I plan on getting it when it does. I definitely recommend giving this game a chance. Edited May 29, 2015 by ScutumMagister
Popular Post dakk55
171st Platinum Mastered the Jungle I'll have to admit, Far Cry 3 was an unexpected masterpiece after the failure that was Far Cry 2. The gameplay and the story, especially of characters such as Vaas kept me going through. I did like the trippy experiences that Jason Brody would experience throughout his quest for power. The only issue with the story is that Jason was being a dick to his friends, although he did redeem himself in the end if you picked the good ending. While not as expansively openworlded as Skyrim or Fallout, it does have a big sandbox experience, although the sidequests can be skipped as they only are there for the money and experience. I found myself skipping them by the time I got to the second island. I did enjoy the whole Vaas experience and I found myself wishing that Vaas was the endgame boss, rather than Hoyt as I wanted more of the whole Vaas experience. Far Cry 3 - Vaas Montenegro Experience The coop was actually fun and I often played it instead of the multiplayer, but I found myself sometimes raging at the idiots I would get that would rather shoot everyone than get the friggin C4 to the spot! Although when I do get a decent team, it was quite a breeze. One of my gripes about Co-op was that there isn't a way to actually host a game so you could pick whatever chapter and difficulty to play on. I must have played first two levels hundreds of times before I finally got a team that was willing to work with me all the way to Payback for the last co-op trophies. So, if you enjoy open world with plenty of pirates and animals that wants to make a meal out of you, go ahead and jump in. Afterall, we're all mad here.
