Popular Post simula67
The road to 100 continues... #97 The Complete Zombie You've won every trophy, climbed every mountain, defeated every zombie, planted every plant. Congratulations! Plants vs. Zombies I had heard of this game but never played it before. In summary, I really liked it. As far as tower defense games go it doesn't come near Pixeljunk Monsters, but it still holds its own. Possibly my favorite thing about this game is how comprehensive the trophy list is. You will experience and complete EVERYTHING this game has to offer in your pursuit of a platinum. The touch-based gameplay is very suited to the Vita, and the graphics look amazing on its screen. I wish some of the Vita-specific features would have been spelled out to you - things like tilting your Vita to collect sun. (I didn't figure that one out until today, doh) Also, even the Vita's impressive hardware still couldn't handle the higher rounds of Endless Survival. The lag was noticeable and did impact gameplay. One irritating thing I found was trying to aim the damn cob cannons. Normally, you have to drag your finger from the cannon to the spot you want to target. However, it frustratingly does not work all the time. The game prioritizes touch for picking up sun and coins over firing a cannon, so you need to make sure the area is clear of both before you fire. This becomes an issue especially in Endless Survival mode when there is a horde of zombies on screen. Sometimes even when the area is clear, you'll drag the target over and nothing will happen. I'll be keeping this on my Vita because it's good for spurts of gaming here and there... but once you unlock some of the better plants the game ceases to be challenging in any way. One or two strategies for mapping out plants are all you need to beat all the survival levels. The only true challenge is Endless Survival. Would recommend this to anyone with a Vita. Too bad it's not free for PS+ members anymore.

Popular Post madbuk
The Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time plat. Loved the game and plan on replaying it at some point even though I have every trophy. My most recent 100% though was Arkedo Series - 01 Jump!, a game that is very unforgiving. Get a game over, restart from the beginning. Finished the last level with 1 life and became so close to dying that my heart almost broke after having put so much time into it. Can't imagine what I would have done if I had died...

Popular Post MoreTheVictim
#39 - God of War: Ghost of Sparta The Ghost with the Most Collect all of the trophies Another great GoW game I really enjoyed! I liked the story, the brother thing was a bit touchy sometimes. I liked how it was told in multiple cutscenes over the course of the game, that really makes you keep on playing. I did my first playthrough in just under 7 hours and it was a great experience. The magic abilities in this game were really usefull this time, and the combat arena was a fun addition, so was the Temple of Zeus. I really enjoyed having something to do after the game, other than a 2nd playthrough and the challenges of the Gods. I liked that! I don't know why I found Thanatos on hard so difficult, but it seems like I'm the only one who thought Persephone was much easier. Another great game and a recommendation. Now going to start with God of War 3 and I'm really looking forward to what happens after the events of GoW2.

Popular Post SitusKiss
# 109 Batman: Arkham Asylum Earned by 23,970 of 194,066 PS3 game owners I don't know what took me so long to play this game. I should have done so much sooner than I did. This game was fantastic! The story was great and the gameplay was very smooth. The combat system was very difficult to "master" however, which is why I rated this so high on the difficulty. The collectibles were a bit annoying because, as seems to be the case with many games, you have to backtrack to get items that required an upgrade or special piece of equipment to get; some of them were quite tricky to track down as well. The challenge mode was the most frustrating of all. I didn't find the combat challenges to be all that difficult to be honest. I struggled with them mostly due to the convoluted button layout and complexity of the controls. I kept getting the buttons confused For instance, I repeatedly hit for countering (probably due to AC games) and forgot to double-press and for their respective moves. I also struggled when I got hit. I would be on a nice roll and stringing together a good combo and get caught with a club to the face or bs punch. At that point, I would lose my focus and struggle to get back into a rhythm. The predator challenges were fun but a little tricky to figure out the actual requirements since I didn't use many of those moves in the story or other modes. Overall this was a challenging but really fun game. Latikos
Just finished my 30th platinum a few days ago: "Complete all other trophies", The Saboteur. I admit, the name of the trophy su... uhm, is not very imaginative. But I love the game itself. I already played it on the Xbox 360 (and got the 1000GS) and decided after a while to get it for Ps3. The soundtrack is just superb, and I really like the gameplay. The story might not be the newest of its kind, but the characters are believable and the sidequests are implemented very well. (Father Denis might actually my favorite character, aside the main character) The one thing, that might be a bit of a disappointment for some people (but mostly German-speaking people): The German voice acting. The propaganda speaker are doing an awesome job, might actually be German. That gives the game a nice touch, because those speakers are nearly everywhere and give it a more intense feeling. The downside are the characters like Dierker. When you hear them speak, they have such a heavy accent, it's even difficult to understand what he's saying in one passage. As I said, I think aside from people who grew up speaking German, chances are mostly won't realize that (and to be fair, even though I did, it didn't bother me for long!), it's just a little something, that could have been done better. To destroy all the free mission targets will take its time, but even that is mostly entertaining. At least the first time. I doubt, I will destroy every singe one again, when I play the game again, because it does take quiet some time Overall it's an enjoyable game, an easy but time-consuming platinum and awesome music. (If I imagine, what trophies the game could have had, they could have made it an nearly impossible platinum as well. Oh, yeah, people who jump in front of the car, you need to learn to jump to the other side, if you want to evade the racing car... )

Popular Post Kreepler_33
#19 - Hero of the Galaxy Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal Finally the last one, this was definitely my favorite out of the three. No racing, no Ace Bunyan just the good old blow some shit up. Also, I tried entering the code Big Al used in the Qwark Vid-Comic and it actually worked. Captain Qwark really was in a tutu lol!

Popular Post CloudyMemory2
Tales of Xillia An amazing JRPG. Likeable, interesting characters (and fantastic antagonists), a well told story with some really cool twists and turns, gorgeous graphics and design, and that good old Tales gameplay. This is a game fans of the franchise and all the people who want a JRPG that actually feels fresh shouldn't miss.
