Popular Post Mr_Wright95
Platinum 193 Minit Pretty cool concept for a game and definitely worth having a look at before it leaves the PS Extra service. With that being said the game itself is lacking in gameplay and this was a fairly quick and simple plat with a guide. Can't really say much more about this game than that so with that in mind I have placed this one within the "Not my Cup of Tea" tier. I think if there was a bit more to the gameplay loop or the Plat did not require following a guide it could be a bit higher, but that tier feels fair for what this game is. Popular Post dmsleight
# 120 Great game. A whole lot darker and graphic than the first. Though there were certainly improvements to the first one, but I think I enjoyed the first one more, as a whole. I felt the mood a lot more of the first one. Especially when you get to Salt Lake City, Ellie is defeated and exhausted, and the rampage of Joel, etc. I wasn't too fond of Abby either. The game play was definitely better on 2. I felt it was generally easier than 1. Certainly a must have for PS4.

Popular Post Jeanolt
Everybody's Putter Golf with Toro 100% One of the most random and obscure games I've ever done lol. In the section of recent players you can see people that played a year ago, but it's a cool piece of Sony memorabilia (if that's a word?). I was really close to the WR 😔, but made many mistakes here and there despite trying the game before. Hope one day we'll see another Toro game with trophies. Popular Post AtarashiM0
#33 Very cool game, but it can be sooo frustrating. The level of focus you need at the highest speed levels is insane, and the AI loves to be very unfair with situations you can do nothing about. However it's super satisfying when you finally achieve that victory, I recommend this game to anyone who likes its skills and patience to be tested and enjoys tough racing games!

Popular Post Wyvern321
#100: Call of Duty: Black Ops III Rarity ≈ 0.75% I chose Call of Duty: Black Ops III to be my 100th platinum because my very first trophy on this account happened to be in that game. That combined with the fact that it had a staggering rarity of 0.75% made it the perfect choice.

Popular Post MoreFuego
#23 - NBA 2K24 (PS5) Rating/Enjoyment: Kobe/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Time: 120 Hours PSNP Rarity: 0.50% PSN Rarity: 0.1% What a game, I meant that in many ways lol. In my 13 years of playing NBA on and off this is my first NBA plat. This is the one plat where I admit can be a bad one objectively. However to me, it’s a good one because it means a lot to me personally lol. I went for this platinum mainly because it’s pretty easy and only requires a grind and some luck (my team holo packs). Also I did it for Kobe Bryant, one of my all time favorite athletes and I felt motivated to do it. Sports plats are usually a nuisance and don’t really add any value to me, even though I may like the sport. However I LOVE basketball and the NBA, and I love Kobe. This is me justifying myself for such a platinum lol. Yes the game has a lot more bad than good, and we all know this considering the history and notoriety of 2K. I’m pretty proud to achieve a sports plat though, especially for something I love that is NBA!
Popular Post insaneeeRob
Ultimate Vault Hunter Borderlands 3 (PS4 & PS5) Finally after two years I got the BL3 plat! The game is not too hard but the circles of slaughter were such a pain, especially the maliwan one. This is clearly not the best game of the saga but the gameplay is just too good and the worlds are cool too. I don't have the dlc yet but I'm sure i'll buy the pandora's box just to get all cosmetics, dlcs and new tales from the borderlands. After getting the ps5 plat I decided to go for the ps4 version too since I was like 5 trophies away from the platinum again and ofc I was going to do it cause that's one step closer to 100 plats lol. Love this game so much and can't wait for BL4 (but with a better plot i'm begging on my knees😭)
Popular Post Moridin83
# 311 Immortals of Aveum I don't know if I ever would have played this if it wasn't on PS Plus, and that's a shame, because it's a pretty decent game. At it's base level, it's a FPS with "magic" replacing guns. The story isn't a world beater, but it's serviceable, and if you like sarcastic protags, Jak will fit the bill. The game plays like a standard FPS, with some traversal elements, and the added twist of color matching your attacks to break enemy shields or do additional damage. I thought the difficulty was fair, even on the highest base game level, with the exception of a couple of the "six" bosses. A more difficult mode was patched in after launch, but isn't necessary for any trophies. Most of the trophies are pretty straightforward and @surtech5's excellent missables mini-guide and some youtube vids for gold chests easily cover the rest. It's not all sunshine and roses though, as the game did bog down a little towards the end. Also, I personally found the enemies frequently difficult to see. Many of the basic enemies don't stand out that much and practically blend into the scenery, but in a way that doesn't feel like it was intentional, but just poor design. Also some of the magic effects make some of the fights against enemy magnus or the Six a real pain to track as well. It's a shame the game did so poorly, because there were some decent ideas here, and it seems unlikely the studio will ever get to really follow up on it. Definitely worth a shot if you grabbed it from plus, and if not, probably still worth picking up on the cheap.

Popular Post BubbleJayGum
Platinum #142 - Resident Evil 4 (Remake) Cuz Boredom Kills Me This is easily a 10 out of 10 game. The original is my favorite game ever, second only to God of War, and I have finally played the remake. I must say, it is incredible. I am really happy that they didn't reinvent the wheel here - they just took what was in the original and enhanced it with all the modern elements. Luis has more backstory here, so he's cooler. I miss the radio interactions between Leon and the bad guys, they were hilarious in the original. However, there are still many funny one-liners from Leon, like "Nighty-night, knights". The soundtrack here is still dope. I could easily stay AFK at the Merchant just to listen to "Serenity" for some time. There are so many cool little details, like the weapon grip changing depending on how close your enemy is. The fight with Krauser is one of the best boss fights ever. It was a brilliant remake. Thank you, Capcom, for getting it right - not like with the RE3 remake, where they obviously rushed things.

Popular Post SirDave1988
# 184 Devil May Cry 2 (PS3) Platinum Trophy Unlock all trophies My first PS3 platinum in over 3 years and my first platinum to take over 10 years to complete from when I started it! Due to this downtime with new game releases, I've been really motivated to complete as much of my backlog as possible, especially on PS3. I feel like I really want to tie up the PS3 era while the store and the network are still fully available on there, as the recent Xbox 360 store closure shows that nothing is guaranteed on the older platforms. Is Devil May Cry 2 the weakest entry in the series? Yeah, and it's kind of not even close. I remember being quite excited seeing the trailer for it on the first Official PlayStation 2 Magazine UK Demo Disc back in 2003, it looked super cool. Then I played the original Devil May Cry, and for me, it's one of the best, nostalgic games on the PS2 and one of the toughest platinums I've ever done on PSN. Devil May Cry 2 by comparison is much easier and to a fault as well. Even Dante Must Die mode (outside of a couple of end boss fights) barely raised the heartrate. The biggest fault of DMC 2 though is that the game is kind of boring by the end. You have the full skill/move sets of the characters you play as from the outset, so there is no real sense of powering up/progression, besides playing through the levels. Bloody Palace was a slog to get through, even with infinite DT and going up 100 floors at a time from the start. I tried it without infinite DT, and I got to Floor 4901. I did like the graphics and the music, those maintained their quality from the first title. But yeah, unless you're a die hard DMC fan and just want to play the best of the series, you can comfortably skip this, as it has no overall bearing on the DMC story. I believe this is the only DMC where Dante's brother, Vergil, is not mentioned or featured in any way. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that is the case. This game had a messy development, and it definitely shows! It does have the easiest platinum in the series though, so there is that. I will 100% be moving on to DMC 3 next, really looking forward to that! Date Completed - 10th May 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 5/10 Hardest Trophy - Every Tongue Will Confess (The trailer from that demo disc. I will say, the marketing was on point)

I believe it stems from the fact that Capcom had to cut and remix a lot of the content from the original Resident Evil 3, to fit into the events played out in Resident Evil 2 Remake. It is understandably irritating to see this misconception grow as a long-time player of the series. While I was disappointed at the cut content, I thought the Resident Evil 3 Remake did well enough on its own to stand on its own feet, rather than falling to comparison.

Popular Post Burritoprime
- Platinum 283 - Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning - Perfectionist - I still remember the first time I got this game way back in 2012- ish, I had a blast with it and was surprised that not many people liked it at the time, I had a lot of fun replaying it and doing the DLCs that I never played before, the platinum took longer than I expected but it wasn't so bad, really hope they do something new with the IP.
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #351 Tales of Kenzera: Zau Whole Again Collect All Trophies I have mixed feelings. The story is largely good, though a bit long winded at times and one child character has a cringe line of dialog but easy to overlook since thankfully it was just the one. The problem is the game itself. Music was okay, graphics are nice though the character models are a bit stiff when there are non-portrait cutscenes. I really hated the portraits though, the art itself is okay but they added annoying colors to every character like blue/red/pink/etc and it just makes the art look annoying to me. But onto the gameplay. It's not really a Metroidvania, it's way too linear in progression for my taste. Thankfully nothing like Gleamlight (bleh). It does lock away progress with abilities, but the level design is structured in a way that just feels more linear. I don't know how to really describe it. I think the fact the map is revealed upon entering an area helps it feel far more linear than it otherwise would. That was an odd choice, though I do like the visual of the map with the areas having art in the background. I think that's a nice way to really feel like you know where you're going and what to look for... but it doesn't really need that since it's mostly so straight forward anyway with the only things to have to backtrack for is a few progression locked collectibles. The platforming is hardly as polished as I'd like. When I was doing a few of the challenges for platforming it was frustrating how bad some parts are. There's a hover ability and it takes a second to work so you die a lot because it's hard to time properly and they require you to turn it off/on in a lot of places to do the platforming sections so it's odd. I just cursed the game a lot and how it wasn't as fluid as something like Rayman Origins/Legends. Similarly there's a dash ability that is cumbersome to use with L2 + Circle and aiming the stick. There is no slowdown or anything and it just gets really annoying. I didn't feel like it was challenging, just frustrating to fumble through the controls. I also feel like it would have made more sense for the blue mask to be L1 and the red mask to be R1 and then when you use the button while wearing that mask you use the later unlocked ability to destroy/recreate. Instead it's L1 to switch and then R1 to use. I feel like it would have been more fluid the other way I suggest. I ended up button mashing a bit too much at times and ended up as the wrong one and used the wrong power while being in a chase sequence. Speaking of the chases, they are way too damn long for no checkpoints. I don't mind a challenge, but the game's camera is so close to you at times that you don't see much below you in particular and it just makes everything so much more annoying than it needed. If you jump off a tall cliff the camera will lose you because it's so slow. There's a slingslot ability where you grab a thing and fling yourself the opposite way but the only way to determine the direction is just where you are when you use it. I wish it was more like Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia where you grabbed a point and pulled the opposite direction you wanted to go and then flung yourself up. There was one platforming challenge where there's two close together and just spikes on the walls and floors and I kept grabbing the first one again instead of getting the next one above it, it was incredibly annoying. The combat however is the worst part. There's a lot and it's tedious and boring and awful. Thankfully they even have combat challenges to do so you can really enjoy the tedious padding. The combat consists of hacking away and ever growing hit sponges forever until they're dead. They introduce the most awful enemy types for this awful combat possible with shields where they not only regen, but they prevent staggering. Which makes your melee (red) mask useless. There's even blue/red specific shields to break. :'D I got bodied by a single red shielded enemy in the final combat challenge because he just kept regening the shield faster than I could get rid of it and the ranged fire spear thing wasn't doing any damage at all. You get knocked down all the time and it's so annoying. I don't even want to keep talking about the combat. I can overlook the platforming issues, because most of the time it's serviceable. But man there is way too much fucking combat. And the bosses are such sponges omg, if you don't land your super powers on them it's going to take a billion years Not sure how to feel about the whole experience. But I'm glad I played it, so I guess that's something... but I'm also glad I didn't have to pay $20 for it.
Popular Post Moridin83
#312 Cotton Reboot Another one from the Cotton series, and another quick plat. Still no 1cc, thank goodness, because this game is significantly more difficult than Cotton 100% was. It's not into bullet hell territory, but the later stages get quite busy and it can be hard to keep an eye on everything at once. The plat is slightly harder, since you do need to clear the first 3 stages consecutively without taking a hit, but I believe you can lower the difficulty if necessary, and I was able to do it on the default settings. The inclusion of the port of the original X8600 version is a neat historical note, but the meat of the game is in the arrange mode, with revamped graphics and gameplay. It's fun and significantly more challenging than Cotton 100% was, but at the end of the day, you can brute force it with unlimited credits. That's good for trophies I guess, but not really rewarding in a gameplay sense. Anyway, still fun, and on to another Cotton game shortly probably.
Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
366 - Hidden Cats in New York it’s a cute chill game where you find hidden cats. I recommend playing with a friend locally or online with the “share screen” feature on ps5, as it’s a lot easier to find the cats with two sets of eyes. I noticed a trophy list was just released recently for “Hidden Cats in Paris” so I assume it’s the next game in this series and will be released soon. I hope to check that one out as well at some point, as this was an enjoyable experience. Special thanks again to @Leesider for the code, and I recommend everyone check out this game as it’s a quick platinum and a great game to relax to. 🐈🐈⬛🐈 Edited May 11 by Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
