Popular Post Tekyumeeee
#129 - Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Just as good, if not better than the first game. I'll be starting Ultra Despair Girls next so I'll have all the games played. I hope to hear about Danganronpa 3 soon. I've really enjoyed these games and would love one more go at a main title after I'm done with the spin-off.
Popular Post linksbanePS
Master Assassin As far as recent AC games go, this one was a pretty good return to the way things were with some of my favorite AC titles. A big city with great detail and character, recognizable landmarks and history, filled with notable characters at the center of probably the most well written AC story to date. Gameplay has seen some improvements and some frustrating "downgrades". For starters, I like the addition of the quick descent mechanic. It really helps with character control, so you get frustrated with Arno less frequently because he gets down off of ledges more responsively than previous games allowed. THIS IS A BIG THING IN A PARKOUR GAME. Something I sorely missed from other games was the chain kill mechanic. I can guess that Ubisoft may want players to actually stick to the tenets of the creed and try to play the game stealthily, but the stealth system sucks and guards and enemies can recognize you too quickly at times. Also it's just feels faster to smash everyone out of the way. Or it used to. Now battles are pretty slow, with enemies being able to block your standard attacks quite often, other enemies constantly interrupting your own attacks so you have to counter them instead of taking down a baddie, having to use "finishers" to actually kill opponents so that they are no longer targets in battle, and all of the enemies having pistols they will gladly use if they are just a few feet from you. All in all, if you're in a group of 4 or more enemies, the best thing to do is just smoke bomb and kill everyone. Smokebombs incapacitate all enemies fora few seconds, and you can carry like a dozen of the things. It's not the most fulfilling tactic but it's certainly the most effective. And this is what it's like when the combat is good. For some reason there are plenty of times where Arno just doesn't realize that he's in battle. Like if he alerts an enemy he just stands there. It seemed like in previous games Assassin's would draw their sword when enemies got near. There's also my favorite, where any kind of obstacle can stop Arno from attacking someone inches away who doesn't have the same problem. Remember how I said there were "finishing" moves? If you beat someone but don't finish them, their long drawn out death animation prevents you from attacking anyone on the other side of them. But it doesn't stop that enemy. They can target and attack you just fine. IT'S FUCKING FRUSTRATING. Anyway, there's some nice side questing here with the riddles and the murder mysteries. There's way too many collectibles again, but that's just not worth complaining about any more. The characters are pretty well done this time around. Bellec can suck a dick. I don't know why Ubi thinks it's a cool quirk for him to call me piss pot all the time. It's not. It's just like in AC Rogue with that lady calling me numbskull over and over. You're both assholes. Co-op was pretty dead when I played. The people I rarely saw were incredibly lagged. It was like watching Disney on Ice sometimes. I thought the idea was pretty cool, and it would probably have been great to experience with friends living in this hemisphere. THANK YOU FOR NOT PUTTING IN GRINDY MULTIPLAYER. FrenchDevil54
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 Platinum If I had one word to describe the overall game: disappointment. I had high expectations since the first one was great, but this one is the little annoying, ugly brother. It's filled with bugs, it's unbalanced, it's messy, and far from being as fun as the PvZ:GW1 Solo play is useless and where are the Taco bandits?? At least the platinum is easy

Popular Post Juzota
#49 - Back To The Future: The Game (PS4) Platinum Trophy Earn all trophies in: "Back to the Future: The Game" What a lovely platinum image... I do love the movie trilogy but this game was nothing compared to those movies. I guess the game was alright, but definitely my least favorite TellTale Games game. I do prefer their more story driven games which came after this. I used a guide to play this because I didn't wanna play every episode twice and that made this really easy and quick Platinum to get. Enjoyment: 5 Difficulty: 1 (with guide) Next Plat is gonna be number 50 and it's probably gonna take some time to get because I need to start The Witcher 3 from the scratch on Death March difficulty. I really wanna have that game on my 50th Platinum and now that there is the last DLC coming out I think it's time to get back into that beautiful world.

Popular Post GoldenShaka
Platinum #59 Prototype 2 Very fun action game. My only complaint was the lock-on for the last boss, it was kinda broken, that made that last fight on hard unnecessarily complicated. Other than that it was a cool ride, nice powers, challenges, story, voice acting.

Popular Post AJC3317
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - One Last Time uncharted 4 is the last tale of everyone's favorite smartass, nathan drake. and while this makes me sad as the first uncharted was one of the games that really got me into hardcore gaming, the last entry is a hell of a way to go out. naughty dog's attention to detail is second to none. go right when someone tells you to go left and you get told "your other left". the way nathan talks to elena after she rescues him, trying his best not to upset her. and of course all the little flinches and reactions that make the game world so real. the game play of course is solid (other than the utterly trash sword fight). and while uncharted has never been known for having a terrific story, the story of a thief's end is easily the best in the series. the characterisation of all the players, showing histories of why drake is the way he is is fantastic. and i would like to make special note of the symbolism times nathan gets helped up a ledge. so many times we see sam helping nathan up a ledge, showing that in nathan's mind sam will never let him down. and the one time nathan tried to help sam up, he did let him down. but after sam's lie is revealed, we see other characters rallying around nate and helping him up. the one time afterwards we see sam helping nathan, something breaks indicating the broken trust between them. it's a powerful message seen throughout the game. uncharted 4 has raised the bar for what a ps4 game should be Edited May 23, 2016 by AJC3317
smellslikejavier
HEAVY RAIN™ Master Unlock all trophies Yea, well... um... that was pretty meh. Not bad but not really great also. And... let me rant a little... NOT SKIPPABLE CREDITS?! NOT SKIPPABLE CUTSCENES?! THE TOO DAMN HIGH AMOUNT OF QTEs?! Let's just see what BTS changed. you pretty much dislike everything that is western, i mean its your money but if you dislike western titles that much and only like VNs, anime and similar boob related stuff i don't see why you even bother. just my opinion. i'm telling you right now that beyond was less well received even for people that liked heavy rain, if you still want to give the interactive drama genre a try i would recommend Until Dawn instead since is considered the best choice based game out there, also it wasn't created by quantic dream/david cage so many people who dislikes cage's storytelling actually liked and appreciated this game more. but then again is a western game that parodies/makes homage to the horror movie genre so... Pretty easy platinum. Good story, but I don't like the trophy list. #48 - Until Dawn - PS4 the images could have been better, but if you're talking about the titles of the trophies they are references to other horror movies (for example "the exorcist of emily" = "the exorcism of emily rose", "ashley snaps" = "ginger snaps", "scream too!" = "scream 2", etc), since until dawn is supposed to be a parody/homage/satire of the horror movie genre. just stating some interesting facts Edited May 23, 2016 by smellslikejavier

Popular Post BlueFireReaper
Platinum #61: Liked it. Spent most of the time as my new favorite HDN girl, Uzume. She's difficult to use at first, but once you get the hang of it (and invest some of those ability points into Combos), she becomes a decently good character. Though when I was dealing with the remaining treasures and the Dark History Parts, I used Nepgear (HDD) to spend less time. And holy shit, just like ZoneHunter, RNGesus was not kind to me. Though the real thing that bothered me was having to kill all of the enemies at least once. This was mainly due to having some enemies being in quests that you could only do on certain days of the week (for me, it was one of Monday's quests that did it for me). Apparently on Sunday, they have all of the quests available on a set rotation, but it never changed for me. Just had the same quests throughout the day. Even more so was that changing the date on the clock didn't affect it at all (though I have a theory that it may be from using a PSTV, but I have yet to confirm this). Though that said, I can easily say that the most fun part about this game was its multiplayer mode.
