Well we get 2/3 games to be decent for thanksgiving

Bears escape the Lions on a game winning field goal at end to get win 4 and stay off Nagy being fired for another week, Lions remain winless in a game they could’ve had

Raiders escape Dallas with a OT win, Carr with a solid game and Desean Jackson showed he still has it, whilst Cowboys defense was a huge letdown especially Anthony Brown who had 4 Pi’s alone including one in OT to,set up,game winning kick. Eagles win on Sunday and they somehow 1 back for division tie.

Bills absolutely drub the Saints, they completely dominated the entire game offensively and defensively to keep pressure on Pats in race for the division, as for the Saints it was just dreadful, offense was dreadful, and questionable decision as why 3rd qb Ian Book at least wasn’t active? Especially when Hill is nursing injury and he was the backup

Falcons get win 5, defeating jags by 7, stay in playoff hunt,

jets get win 3 defeating Texans 21-14 after being 14-3 down, impressive comeback albeit against the Texans

Dolohins pick up win 5 absolutely drubbing the panthers who even benched Cam Newtown who was awful, Dolphins make late run at playoffs whilst Panthers qb issues raise head for another week

Patriots pick up there 6th win in a row drubbing the Titans, Pats are scary team atm,

Bengals continue to show they for real absolutely blowing out Steelers 41-10, Steelers looking like a .500/non playoff team

Bucs survive a shutout thx to Fournette’s 4 rushing tds to defeat the Colts, Turnovers really hurt Colts in a game they could’ve won

Giants retire Strahan’s number and it must have inspired them as they gritted out a hard fought win against the Eagles , costly drops by Raegor at end which could have won Eagles the game

Broncos easily handle the Chargers to tighten the AFC West and still leave us wondering how good are the Chargers

49ers are continuing there resurgence, outlasting the Vikings to pick up win 6 and 1 game back of the suddenly slumping Rams , Vikings love those 1 score games, yet need to find ways to win more them if they wanna be a wild card team

Packers pick up win 9 defeating Rams in a game they were much better then LA, as for Rams they lose there 3rd in a row and they continue to look a shell of the team that was 7-1, they had better pick it up soon again or 49ers will overtake them and they won’t catch the Cardinals

Justin Jefferson would have made either catch for the Eagles.  Thanks Howie Roseman for your consistently shitty draft picks because someone stands out "analytically".  Reagor's post game was even funnier.  "It was only 2 drops"  LOL  Yeah, game winning TD drops.  Fucking bum.  Also, feel bad for Devonta Smith.  He's an elite receiver with great route running who gets open on a lot of plays, including that last play, but he has a running back for a QB who has trouble reading the field.  Everyone seems to be shitting on Hurts and Reagor and the coaching staff, and rightfully so, but the guy who's responsible for it all is hardly getting any blame because it seems like he's the owner's bastard child who's never at fault.  Howie Roseman.  (Incoming long Howie rant below)

Who signed Wentz to a major extension and then uses a 2nd rd pick for a gadget QB in J. Hurts?  Roseman.  Scouting dept wanted Justin Jefferson and Jeremy Chin that year.  Howie overrules them and picks Reagor and Hurts.  Rather have Wentz throwing to Devonta and Jefferson with Chin at safety than Hurts with Devonta and Reagor.

Derek Barnett in the 1st round.  He broke Reggie White's all time sack numbers.....yeah against worse competetion.  Another bum 1st rd pick.  Also one he exercised a 10M option on this year when starting the year off 70M in the hole for the team cap.  What's Barnett done?  Seems to be great at neutral zone infractions and personal fouls.

Andre Dillard, 1st rd OT bust.  That wasn't all his fault because Dillard was high on everyone's board, but here's a big one,  JJ Arcega-Whiteside over DK Metcalf.  I get that a lot of teams passed on DK because of his neck injury, but the other receivers chosen in that round turned out to be good players. AJ Brown, Deebo, and....JJ Whiteside is nothing but a special teams guy / blocking receiver, but now has a career high 2 game catch streak with 1 rec in last two games each celebrated like he just won a playoff game  lol

Then the 2020 all time worst pick of J. Reagor over Justin Jefferson.

I think even Doug Pederson was laughing at the pick.  The worst part is they have a great scouting dept led by Tom Donahoe, but they are always at odds with Lurie, Roseman, and the analytics dept.  I don't think this team does shit until Roseman is gone, but it's never happening with Lurie as the owner.  It's like they lucked themselves into 1 Superbowl where everything fell in place for them, and now they think they are football gods.

That's just the draft, not to mention his shitty contracts.  Constant restructures that put the team in a major dead money situation with aging vets on the decline (F. Cox)  Cap guru howie roseman.  Yeah, I'm a credit card guru.  I just buy a bunch of shit I can't afford and then make the minimum payment as long as I can.  If there's one thing I could give hiim credit for, it would be his trading.  He's good at wheeling and dealing, but still, what's the point when you're gonna draft poorly in the 1st round.  Gotta give him credit for trading up for Smith, but still, it's one good move in how many drafts now?

I also know a guy that used to work for the eagles almost 15 years ago.  Said roseman is one of the biggest jerkoffs you could ever meet.  Talks down to everyone, walks around like he owns the place.  Just a total prick.  So it didn't surprise me when Wentz and Ertz refused to deal with the guy.  Also reported he was saying shit to Lane Johnson about his injuries.  It's gotta be infuriating to have to be talked to like a piece of crap from someone you could literally pick up with one arm and throw through a window.  I can't stand this little smug fuck and hope he's at least in a coma come draft time so he can't pull some Howie shit thinking he's so smart by picking some kicker who hit an 80yd FG with a helium filled ball instead of the guy his entire scouting staff is telling him to pick.

It could be worse:  you could have the Jets' 2020 draft class, one which has given the Jets virtually nothing this season.

  • Their 1st round pick played like two quarters before going on IR.
  • Their 2nd round pick has missed multiple games as a healthy scratch (plus multiple games with COVID)
  • One third round pick is only starting at safety because three guys ahead of him are already on IR, the other third round pick is on the practice squad.
  • One 4th round pick has been a healthy scratch the entire season, a second was cut in Training Camp and only re-signed this week because two quarterbacks went on the COVID list, the third has yet to play an NFL snap.
  • Their 5th round pick has actually managed to stay healthy and semi-productive this season.  He's their CB-1 for lack of other options; the Jets' DB room isn't very talented (and is very, very young).
  • Their 6th round pick was a punter.

Oh, wait.... the Jets' GM is Joe Douglas, who was the Eagles' VP of Player Personnel for three years prior to taking the Jets' job.  Maybe that has something to do with things.

So are you thinking that the Jets might have a chance to beat the Eagles on Sunday?  For the first time in franchise history in a regular season game?

Last time a player's dad complained about Baker, they got thrown off the team. About to happen again?

I think it's stupid for a player's mommy or daddy to whine like this.  And if I were the player in question, I'd very loudly and very publicly tell my mommy or daddy to shut up.

But it's not out of the question that one of the big problems in Cleveland is Baker Mayfield.

This weekend marked only the 3rd time during the past 3 seasons that both the Giants and the Jets won on the same weekend.

I think it is the uniform changes.  Both look pretty sharp.  The Giants with the Lawrence Taylor-era look with “Giants” on the helmet.

And the Jets back to the well, hmmm Al Toon-era (there has to be someone better, not sure why he came to my mind lol)  - the Green helmets look good though.

Let's see...

-3:1 advantage in time of possession for Washington - check

-3rd and 2 or less looking like it may as well be 3rd and 200,000 for Seattle's offense - check

-lame and predictable offense for the Seahawks - check

-exhausted defense in the 2nd half because of said ToP - check

Yup, it's a Seahawks game.

Would it be possible to get Metcalf a target or two?

I got nuthin'.  The offensive philosophy of his team is a mystery to everyone.  And this isn't just a "this season" problem, last year during the 2nd half of the season the offense completely vanished, and aside from week 1 this year, they've stayed gone.  They've been figured out.  They're predictable.  They're unable to adjust.  They're just plain broken... same as last year, except there's a new OC this year, seems like O shouldn't be a mirror image of the mess they were last year, but here they are.  Been saying it all season and I'll say it again, Pete's looking like the problem, and for one reason or another, Russ isn't masking it anymore.

Yes. Hurts has an ankle injury, but no word yet on if it's sore or actually injured.  So a mobility limited Hurts forced to beat a team with his arm....we just seen how that went.  Eagles live and die by the run, and a big part of that is the read option with Hurts.  If Howard's out again, Sanders likes to dance instead of dart for the hole, and he's prone to fumble.  If the Jets get a run game going and Wilson can make the smart read when he has to, Jets can definitely win.  It's strange that both teams might mirror each other in run heavy game plans.

Damn both Samuel and Warner out next sunday, switched from "interesting" to "very hard"

Probably Greenlaw too and Ford's still not back, so the D is looking even thinner.  Plus playing on the road in December at one of the loudest stadiums won't help.  I'm hoping they can still pull it off, but losing these guys, especially Samuel, is going to make it a big challenge.  I never rule out the hawks, ever.

I really don't get the point of doing this. Is everyone really so in love with the sound of their own voices?

Baker Mayfield is struggling. We all see it. What good does it do for a person so clearly associated with a teammate to post this?

Not a Baker fan here, but I will give him credit - he is trying to play through an injury. I guess it’s up to the coaching staff to decide if a 70% Baker is better than a 100% Case Keenum.  The Browns seem to be most successful when the running game is on, so just a semblance of a passing game to keep defenses honest should suffice. One could argue that Kareem Hunt is the third-best RB on the team though, and maybe he’s just making noise to move onto another team and get more carries.

Antonio Brown was suspended three games for violating COVID protocol, as were two others. All three have waived their right to appeal.

Bucs should kick his ass to the curb. He's more trouble than he's worth, but doubt they will.

Word is Minshew is starting against the Jets and Hurts will sit with his ankle.  Minshew got all the 1st team reps at practice.  I think the Eagles chances to win just went up a little bit.  Here's to hoping this year finishes with another QB controversy just like last year  ???

The Eagles probably would have won anyhow, but it would have been nice if the officiating had been a little less biased.  I ought to have a friend call around to the "guys in the know" at the sportsbooks to find out just how many of them took the Eagles and laid the points.

As for the Jets new kicker?  The good news for him is that there's no team flight home for him to be pushed off of at 30,000 feet or so.  The bad news for him is that I don't see why the Jets can't sedate him, lock him in a broom closet for a couple of hours, and then shove him out onto Route 3 once the postgame traffic dissipates.

He's going to get cut tomorrow.

I don't doubt it.  Line dropped all week, so money was coming in on the Jets.  Those penalties in the 2nd half were some bullshit calls that extended the drives for the Eagles.  It was almost like they wanted no chance at a backdoor cover knowing a 2pt conversion was incoming if the Jets scored at all.  Also the intentional grounding that isn't intentional grounding anymore as long as an eligible receiver is within a few yards is crap too.  I don't like anyone, even if it's my team, exploiting those cheap ass rules.  Break the pocket, throw it away beyond the line of scrimmage, cool.  Stay in the pocket and throw a worm ball at an eligible receiver's achilles who's engaged in a block ...bullshit.  The kicker  LOL  dude, maybe he's lumped up and laid out on the turnpike right now.

Well Minshew Mania is back and the Lions finally won a game!!!!

I think he would be a better QB for the Eagles going forward, but I don't see either him or Hurts being the franchise QB.  He can definitely read the field better than Hurts and has a nice touch, but I'm not ready to annoint him the 2nd coming of Drew Brees the same way some fans here have ridiculously annointed Hurts the 2nd coming of Steve Young.  One thing's for sure though, if they come out of the bye, and Hurts stinks it up....here we go again  lmao  Sports talk radio should be ?? tmrw.
