Popular Post ladynadiad
1. Omega Quintet (35%) (24 out of 55 trophies) 4. Asdivine Menace 5. Bonds of the Skies 6. Sephirothic Stories 7. Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God (0 out of 50 trophies) 8. 英雄伝説 零の軌跡 Evolution (Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Evolution) 9. Murdered: Soul Suspect 10. Monochrome Order 11. Asdivine Kamura (Releases probably 11/5/19) (0 out of 38 trophies) 12. Word Wheel by POWGI (NA Vita) (0%) (0 out of 33 trophies 215 out of 467 trophies earned so far, 6 out of 12 games completed. Made some good progress in Ao no Kiseki. I'm up to chapter 3 now. Still slow going on the trophies, but most trophies in Trails games are earned at the end of the game and I'm about halfway. Hoping to finish up the first playthrough before CS3 releases. Also after what felt like a gazillion tries, I got the trophy for getting 4000+ points in the Horror Coaster minigame. That's a silly little game where your character takes a friend to ride a roller coaster through a haunted house and while riding it you have to shoot the monsters coming for you by pressing the button it tells you to press. To get that sort of score you can't miss any of them, and some have a split second window to hit them, so it's not easy. Glad I knocked that one out because it's probably the hardest trophy in the game. Also finished up episode 5 in Omega Quintet. Got most of episode 6 knocked out and then I got stuck on a quest to defeat a stupidly powerful monster and probably need to grind for more levels, which is a pain in this game because you have to spam skills a lot and I still don't have enough SP to be able to do that for more than a few battles before I need to recover SP again. Edit: Also going to add Word Wheel by POWGI before that gets over 35% since I'm going to need a quickie plat for #99 Edited October 17, 2019 by ladynadiad
Popular Post HaserPL
One playthrough left on Very Hard in TRINE for the plat. Great game, it's stunning and very fun to play. I will leave the 2nd playthrough for later, I'm gonna be doing every game that can be done in one playthrough, and if the game requires 2 of them, I'm doing one + clean up and the other is left for later when I have a motivation to play the same game again,
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Platinum flavoured mid-week update time Control Wolfenstein Youngblood Man of Medan Yakuza 3 Remaster Borderlands 3 MediEvil Concrete Genie The Outer Worlds Yakuza 4 Remaster Death Stranding Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order I originally posted this in a completely different forum thread. I absolutely positively need more caffeine today. This is what happens when i'm coffee deprived and have a cold. I managed to get a platinum in both Yakuza 3 Remaster and the Borderlands 3 which is awesome. Yakuza 3 was great, but they still haven't topped Yakuza 0 for me in terms of story yet. I still haven't played Yakuza 4, 5 or 6 which I plan to now the remaster collection is here for 3,4 & 5. I really enjoyed my time with Borderlands 3 despite there being some big plot holes and the way the story goes in a really weird direction after what you think is the end. That whole last act felt tacked on and a re-write of what they originally intended to put in. I still enjoyed it loads though, but I much preferred the stories in the previous games. Is that okay? The rules don't say that you need a swap for adding games if your list is not full (I just put everything together as a quick readable guide): Quote Select between 5 and 50 games from your backlog and complete them. If you want to add more games to your list or want to continue after finishing your list, you can add games to your list up to the maximum. If you manage to complete 50 and still want to do more, contact OT. After the event begins, you can make up to five swaps (https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/77523-fallwinter-2019-2020-backlog-challenge/?do=findComment&comment=1927492). The objective is not to just earn the platinum as applicable, but to reach 100% trophy completion for it. DLC is included and you will have to complete any new DLC that's released during the challenge. If you don't like DLC, don't put a game with it on your list. Adding a game (2.) and swapping a game (3.) are two complete separate things. As long as you don`t have 50 games on total on your list just add the hell out of it ?. Sorry to hear that, what did Sony PS support say about the issue when you contacted them? Have you tried this too? 1. Shut down PS4 fully 2. Start PS4 again in Safe Mode (hold down power button) 3. Select settings and then Update from Internet There is also a big guide section on the PS support page here - https://www.playstation.com/en-ie/get-help/help-library/system---hardware/system-software/update-ps4-system-software-in-safe-mode/ But honestly, if you havent contacted PS support directly i'd contact them. Might be worth trying everything in the guides and steps above though before you contact them, because they will likely ask you to try those steps anyway. Anything less then Challenging Difficulty seems too easy, two of the three paths being pretty much the same (just one or two unique missions) and the New Game+ mechanic is pretty much broken. After playing the game five times, no matter what I originally thought of the game, I was bored by the end. On a brighter note, loved the fact that each path gives you a different tokusatsu type (the 6th Ranger, Metal Hero, and Kamen Rider) and I loved most of the references. Iconoclasts was one of those games I've wanted to play for awhile now, and wasn't disappointing. I knew it took like 7 years of off and on development and it shows in the animation of pretty much every character. The story switches between my kind of comedy to very serious a couple of times and I liked it all the way. I read after playing it that people found the ending came out of left field, but I think it was a pretty logical conclusion. Spoiler The game showed that both sides worshiped alien crafts, so why no have the final boss (and the origin of the bad guys religion) be an alien bird The reason for not playing it sooner was due to the One-Hit Wonder Trophy, which has you beat the game on Challenge mode, which makes it so you die in one hit. In my opinion, it's not as daunting as it sounds because it only unlocks after you beat the game AND you get a New Game+ which gives you all the Tweaks you created in the previous save from the start. Just equip all three Iron Hearts and you now have four hit points. The only places that gave me trouble were whenever they gave me a new character (because they can't use Tweaks, so they only have one hit point), the penultimate boss, and the hallway to the last boss. The last boss also gave me trouble mostly due to me being stubborn and not resetting the fight after checkpointing with no Iron Hearts available on the last phase. Added Batman: Return to Arkham (Arkham Asylum and Arkham City), Caveman Warriors, Rayman Origins, and The Coma. I'm hoping to have both Batman games done so I can move on to Arkham Knight without any problems with the story. As for what game I'm going to play next, it's either going to be The Witness or Detroit. After that, probably Arkham Asylum. Popular Post Spaghetti_Grabsy
Update #7: Currently Working On (Themed Around the Spooky Season | To Complete Before October's End): Slayaway Camp (PS4) - 34% ➡️ 40% [22/51] - A fun puzzle game about brutally murdering party-going teenagers. A game I can relate to. (NEW) Call of Cthulhu (PS4) - 0% [0/50] - A absolutely adore Lovecraftian horror. While the game is far from great, it nails enough elements to be enjoyable for me. (NEW) Goosebumps: The Game - 0% [0/41] - Never played it before. I like point and click adventures so I thought I'd check this out for the Halloween season. I believe it's a movie tie-in, so it could very well be a pile of shit. We'll see. Shanky: The Vegan's Nightmare (PS4) - 5% [1/12] - An absolute nightmare to play. Cat Quest (PS4) - 0% ➡️ 2% [2/23] - Umm... My brain needed there to be five games... I guess cats are sort of nightmarish to native endangered bird populations. Yeah. Keep your cats inside cat owners. On Hold: Guardians of the Galaxy (PS4) - 0% ➡️ 4% [3/31] (NEW) Hand of Fate (PS4) - 0% ➡️ 3% [2/53] What Remains of Edith Finch (PS4) - 100% [9/9] Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (PS4) - 72% [52/75] The Last of Us Remastered (PS4) - 2% [2/50] Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (PS4) - 90% [13/15] Marvel's Spider-Man (PS4) - 100% [74/74] Horizon Chase Turbo (PS4) - 25% [16/38] Mass Effect (PS3) - 7% [3/47] Dark Souls: Remastered (PS4) - 7% [5/41] Sound Shapes (PS4) - 5% [5/89] Dragon Age: Origins (PS3) - 0% [0/77] Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS4) - 0% [0/54] Jack and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (PS4) - 0% [0/39] Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (PS3) - 0% [0/49] I haven't made as much progress as I would of liked this week, as I keep getting busy with other "important" "adult" things. Although I did get over my cold which I mistook for lavender allergy (to be fair though, I did get the cold right after getting sneezy with lavender, so...) I became aware that I keep adding games to my list, and I worried that it might get out of hand if I added more that I could feasibly complete. To combat this, counter-intuitively, I've added Hand of Fate, Call of Cthulhu, and Goosebumps to my list, bringing it to 20 and my profile list to 25 (both nice round numbers that make my brain feel nice). The aim is to complete those remaining 18 before I add any new games. I tried out Cat Quest a couple of days ago, and I must say I was impressed. Judging by the trailer I was expecting a fun game, but it managed to exceed my expectations. The combat is fun and feels fluid, the colour palette makes the game interesting to look at, and the soundtrack got my attention immediately and wouldn't let it go. I'm absolutely looking forward to continuing this game. I also completed the first three chapters of Ep.1 in Guardians of the Galaxy. I just wasn't in the right mood for it, so I'll put it on hold for a bit, probably after finishing up the rest of Ep.1. I finished up another chapter in Slayaway Camp, along with some other feat trophies. Again, not much to tell with this game. It's fun, but not easy to talk about in this context. I played a bit of Hand of Fate. It's a fun game with some interesting replayability and a challenging trophy list. I played Call of Cthulhu on an old account before I got into trophy hunting. It's a good enough game for my tastes, but it has some issues. eg. the developers idea of appealing to Lovecraft fans is to smush all of his stories into one game, the RPG mechanics are non-existent for a game based on an RPG, the combat boils down to "press this button to make the bad men go away", and for a game based on the works of an author who emphasized subtlety in his horror, at times the game is about as subtle as a freight train through a children's home. Regardless, I'm looking forward to playing this game again. I haven't read a Goosebumps book in years, but the movies are a guilty pleasure of mine. I value enjoyable entertainment more than I value objectively good entertainment. In any case, the point and click nature of this game appealed to me, and I plan on checking it out. I've decided to focus on some (mostly) spooky themed games to embrace the Halloween spirit (even if you trace Halloween back to its pre-Christian European roots you'll find that is has nothing to do with 'spookiness', but I digress. You aren't here for history). I aim to finish these five games before October's end lest I discover what bleach tastes like calmly accept defeat. I threw in Shanky because I need a reason to force myself to do that. Cat Quest is there because cat's are psycho killers in their own right. Also because I'm really enjoying the game. That's me for this week. I hope to have a better update next week. Have fun hunting all! Edited October 19, 2019 by Spaghetti_Grabsy
Popular Post neospoon
Update time... Just finished the grind that is Mortal Kombat 11. One of the easiest platinum trophies for a fighting game that I’ve played. Definitely in the MK series. The grind wasn’t that bad in the end because I could combine a couple of trophies all together. In game time it says 17hrs which I spread over a couple of days. I think only Tekken 7 is easier. Anyway had some good fun with it. Might keep playing some of the online as the salty raging kids are so much fun to listen to I keep changing my mind on what to play next. I’d like to actually finish a game that was on my backlog already instead of installing new games. So I might start working on Fallout 3, but from what I’ve been reading that game is the ultimate glitchfest. Not sure if I want to deal with that at the moment. Maybe I should just finish Shadow Of the Tomb Raider and TLOU just to make my list look a little bit more manageable. Anyway here is my score so far. Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 91% (87/100) (PS4) God of War - 11% (8/37) (PS4) The Last of Us - 79%(39/50) (PS3) Fallout 3 - 2% (3/73) (PS3) Metro: Last Light - 4% (4/71)(PS3) God of War Ascension - 4% (3/36) (PS3) Plague Inc. Evolved - 0% (0/55) (PS4) Until Dawn - 14% (4/19) (PS4) Rocksmith 2014 - 22% (15/48) (PS4) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hunting Simulator - 100% (31/31) (PS4) Mortal Kombat 11 - 100% (59/59) Happy hunting everyone! Managed to finally get a high score on Rextro's first arcade game after finding ways to get through the racetrack with shortcuts. The Rextro games are my least favorite part of the game. Also managed to get a trophy in Dragon Quest XI - Beast Basher for killing 1000 enemies, which I earned because I was farming Gallopolis for Metal Slimes. I got a lot of skullriders, lots of chimeras... zero metal slimes. I eventually got two levels naturally without the slimes and just decided to head into Gallopolis, get the puff puff there, and save and be done with it for now. I have some Pokemon stuff to do this weekend.
Popular Post HaserPL
Trine 2 hardEarn all Trophies in Trine 2 Another one off the list. I liked the first game, but the second is somehow worse, I don't know what is it but something felt off, and I was always fighting against the controls and physics system. I'm happy that between these 2 games, and the other 2 that came out on PS4 I will have a huge time gap, otherwise, I'd be totally burned out from this franchise. I like it, but it's not perfect.
Popular Post ArtisticGeek
Update #3 1: Layers of Fear 2 - 100% 2: Walking Dead Final Season - 100% 3: The Council - 100% 4: Days Gone - 100% 5: Metro Exodus 6: Call of Cthulhu 7: The Banner Saga 8: Yakuza Kiwami 9: Detroit Become Human 10: Shadow Tactics Blades of the Shogun 11: Fe - 100% 12: Late Shift 13: The Bunker 14: The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker. Going to add #15: Dead Rising to the list for Halloween Made better progress before the weekend ended, Fe is a nice relaxing game super cute it was also a nice bonus that most of the color scheme was purple, my favorite color, so I'm biased lol. And then The Walking Dead finally finished the last entry after putting it off for so long cause I wasn't ready to say goodbye. Not gonna get into spoilers so I'm just gonna say it left me very emotional and gave a satisfying ending. I'm so happy this series was able to get the proper ending it deserved. Popular Post Mesopithecus
Weekend Update: 1. Final Fantasy VIII - 09/28/2019 2. Graveyard Keeper - 0% 3. Yomawari: Midnight Shadows - 0% 4. The Sims 4 - 38% >>> 97% 5. Revenant Saga - 16% 6. Final Fantasy X - 16% 7. Final Fantasy VII - 0% 8. Detroit: Become Human - 0% 9. Trine: Enchanted Edition - 8% 10. Dungeon Travelers 2 - 0% 11. What Remains of Edith Finch - 09/29/2019 12. Grand Kingdom - 09/25/2019 Been playing a lot of Sims 4 this week and very close to being done, just two careers left to reach max level in. This has been the perfect game to run alongside doing Stellas Dungeons on Hyperdimension Re;Birth 2, as both I can just be fairly passive in. Overall I've had some great luck with Sims 4, got Basketcase out of the way pretty quick and without even really trying. I also got Triplets trophy on my 11th attempt with just one couple, seems I was very lucky there judging from others experiences. Overall it's been a fun time, especially leaving the game to run and coming back to find my whole sim house on fire! I definitely feel though the game is very bare bones and lacking content, it feels geared toward you buying a lot of DLC. I should be done with the last two careers tomorrow though I expect and will be able to add a shiny new UR plat to my small collection I'm thinking probably Revenant Saga is up next, currently delaying Graveyard Keeper as it's getting some DLC at the end of the month and I'd like to wait and see if it has trophies.
Popular Post DizzyDavidson
First off, Happy Birthday @MidnightDragon, hope you have a great one! And here's my Update: Bound By Flame [PS3] - 100% Eat Them! [PS3] - 0% God of War: Ghost of Sparta [PS3] - 0% Heavy Rain [PS4] - 100% Mad Max [PS4] - 0% Actual Sunlight [Vita] - 0% => 100% Driveclub Bikes [PS4] - 18% How to Survive 2 [PS4] - 0% Wanted Corp [Vita] - 0% Dragonball Xenoverse 2 [PS4] - 4% => 20% Skylanders Giants [PS3] - 0% Grand Kingdom [PS4] - 100% I got one more completed, a quick one. Had a lot of free time this week but not much progress made. Dragonball Xenoverse 2: I think I only played it one day out of the week. Just trying to enjoy this game doing stuff as they pop up. Of course my bad luck with RNG carried over from the first game. Skills are not dropping from Parallel Quests but luckily I only have to learn 50% of them this time (compared to 100% in first game), so I'm not stressing over it till I've done most things. Actual Sunlight: I had some time away from my TV/consoles when I couldn't use them so I fired up the Vita and went with this game. It's a very short game dealing with depression/loneliness/suicide. Most/all trophies can be earned in about two hours (if you actually read the story) without a guide as long as you interact with everything you can. This game is very thought provoking if taken seriously (it is about a serious matter after all) and/or can relate to it in any way. Next week it's back to work (maybe taking it a bit easy in the first part), but on the gaming side I've switched my focus to Anthem. I want to make it my next , so I'll definitely continue on with that with a little bit of Dragonball Xenoverse 2 peppered in here and there with slowly picking up Driveclub Bikes. I would like to be done with at least 3 more games from my list before Xmas.
Popular Post freddie1989
Minimal update from me as I had no time over the weekend to make progress. Worked my way through a chunk of the Far Cry 5 story and picked up a few trophies along the way. Almost done with Faith so will be working towards the end of that over this week. Also want to make a start on Detroit or The Surge but I can't make my mind up yet so installed both of them. The Surge 0% Watch Dogs 100% Far Cry 5 9% - 26% Metro 2033 Redux 0% Dying Light 0% Modern Warfare Remastered 100% Walking Dead Final Season 0% Zombi 0% Detroit: Become Human 0% Overcooked 100%
Popular Post Together_Comic
Update 4 Mass Effect 3 Date Started: 9/30/2018 Trophies when Event Started: 28/69 Event Starting Percentage 31% Trophies after Update 3: 31/69 Updated Percentage 35% Trophies after Update 4: 42/69 Updated Percentage: 48% We are in the home stretch on this one. Have three or four missions to go before finishing the game, which will get me most of the remaining trophies. Afterwards its just cleaning up the DLC and grinding out the remaining kills out of 5000. My complaints from earlier have basically disappeared. The loading times are still long, but I guess I've gotten used to them. Insanity mode actually hasn't been to bad and feels easier than Mass Effect 2 for sure. Hope to have this done by the end of the week. Here's what is left. Game Trophies Percentage Final Fantasy IX 52/52 100% Final Fantasy VIII 0/35 0% Mass Effect 3 42/69 48% Crash Bandicoot 2 6/25 10% God of War: Ascension 5/36 8%
