AvengedEvil
According to playasia, the Dualsense will cost 75€. I hope that this isn't the real price as it would be a 25% increase compared to the Dualshock 4. On the other side, I wouldn't be surprised if this would be true. https://www.play-asia.com/search/dualsense?x=29&y=34 Edited June 15, 2020 by DaivRules
sharkyaya
That’s pretty steep! I hope this isn’t the case as I like to have multiple controllers, especially limited edition ones.

Xylobe
I import a good amount of Switch-related stuff, and from my experience it seems like PA is often pricier than alternatives. Not saying this is wrong, but I'd wait for an official price announcement.
Vergil
Yeah saw this earlier. Its looks like a price that could be true. But its a pricey one. I will probably wait for a bundle with an extra controller
Masamune
Ouch... that's like $85 US. No way I'd pay full price for one of those (I already consider the DS4 too expensive with the amount of those I've gone through). ?

Beyondthegrave07
Considering I've seen switch controllers for as much as $80-90 lately, can't say I'm surprised. As long as it's high quality and durable, I think you could justify the price at least. Even if it's more expensive than the typical $60. That's the real scary part though with such high prices for controllers. If I drop it once on my hardwood floor, is it done for?

TurtlePM
Honestly, I was expecting something like that. The way they described the controller when it was announced and all those features, it isn't a simple "plastic" controller like the PS4. It has a specific function that detects something from your body (can't recall what it is), but I thought back then that function alone would bump the regular price (even the console when launch).
theSpirae
Not surprised but the quality better be good for what they are going to for it. The current controller build quality and lifespan is crap
TJ_Solo
and there's a PS4 controller for 85.https://www.play-asia.com/dualshock-4-wireless-controller-steel-black/13/70czrd PlayAsia doesn't go by MSRP. They have their own markup on everything.
Guest
That's the cost for the future of gaming guys. Be happy we don't get them closer in price to like yhe Astro or Razer brands.
KennethMcCormick
They wouldn't dare sell them at such a steep price, not in the wonderful consumer friendly world we live in (before we wake up shaking and drenched in cold sweat). I expect it to be a much more affordable 74.99, no more.

OhDearDevilRun
It better be made with some indestructible plastic that will last the whole consoles lifespan. I wont pay more than $100!
RadiantFlamberge
DualSense being higher than the DS4 in price would not really be a shock. That said, the durability better be there. I don't want to see a button or trigger start sticking or show other signs of wearing out within a few months.
Kulzyc
As long as I can play more than 2 months of Call of Duty before my L3 button decide to fking not sprint anymore I'm good with it.

But I’m DEFINITELY not getting a white controller, if I can help it. With it turning dingy-yellow and expensive...I’ll take the black controller, thank you...? colinnola
Not sure why people are taking a placeholder price seriously. No one knows how much these things cost yet.
Mayellie
I'm hoping maybe the DualShock 4 can be connected to PS5? I have several controllers and I'd prefer using those over buying a second DualSense. I know there wouldn't be haptic feedback and the other features, but I'd use my PS4 controllers just when my DualSense charges, or if I'm playing local multiplayer.
