Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Time for another update, I was meant to do this over the weekend but lost track of time. Which seems to be a trend for me this year ?. As my neighbours kid shouted yesterday while waving his toy at me over the garden fence - "2020 time has gone wrong for me and jibb(?) the fire truck in 2020". I made another error and forgot to add Rebel Galaxy Outlaw to my list - I started Rebel Galaxy and then Rebel Galaxy Outlaw with the intention to play them for a few minutes, but got completely hooked into them. I started them both after the challenge started. I was originally going to omit them, but i've got the platinum in Rebel Galaxy and am one trophy away from the platinum in Rebel Galaxy Outlaw - I wonder if it would be really cheeky to add them retroactively ?. @MidnightDragon - would that be okay? I'd totally understand if it isn't. They would both be started and finished within the challenge window - I just have Swiss Cheese brain and haven't added them. Life is Strange 2 Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Odin Sphere Leifthrasir The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope 0% - 20% Watch Dogs: Legion 0% - 5% Marvel’s Avengers: 73% Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Cyberpunk 2077 Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope This was my halloween game and I managed a first full playthrough with a friend online in one sitting. I actually preferred this game in terms of setting and theme compared to Man of Medan - the whole witchcraft and supernatural elements I really dug. Technically it seemed a little more polished than Man of Medan too, much closer to that of Until Dawn at least - which still hasn't been uprooted for me as my favourite game from Supermassive so far. Holy crap though - the jump scares. The both of us screamed multiple times, even when you blatantly knew one was coming. There was one jump scare towards the end that ended with me jumping up and swearing loudly. And there were points where my co-op partner would scream because they got a jump scare in a different part of the game while I was off with other characters, which in turn made me jump for no reason other than someone suddenly screaming in their headset. The characters were less annoying for me in this one too, i'm a huge fan of Will Poulter - the actor behind the main protagonist - he has some serious acting chops and likes to explore different methods and means of acting, so it was nice to see him in something like this. One thing I really hope Supermassive Studio writers stop doing is adding high-concept twists into their endings. The story would have been fine just as is, but they had to throw in a twist at the end that makes you rethink everything. 90's and early 2000's movies did this a tonne with a 'it's gotta be high concept or it won't sell' approach. No twist? no deal etc. Anyway, i'm going to put this on hold for a week or three and come back to it for the multi-playthrough runs that the game needs, the trophy list seems very similar to Man of Medan with the usual - kill everyone / save everyone requirements etc. So I'll be running through this multiple times no doubt. Watch Dogs: Legion I played about 3 hours of this and while Watch Dogs 2 is still my favourite of the series (so far) - Legion is definitely winning me over in the small amount of time i've played. The absolute state of near-future London it depicts also feels scarily very very possible considering the way the world is right now. My gametime so far involved the opening set-up, choosing my character and doing a few missions. I will say so far, even though i've just about scratched the surface of it, the recruitment mechanics are a real breath of fresh air. I think I actually prefer a written character protagonist in the traditional sense, but props to Ubisoft for trying something really drastically new. It's a pretty amazing gameworld render of London too, I found myself wandering around alot just looking at scenery. ==== That's it for me for now, the rest of my week will be pushing towards the Watch Dogs Legion platinum and depending on reviews, I might also add a horror game called Visage to my list. Have a good one everyone, stay safe and look after yourselves. Edited November 2, 2020 by Crispy_Oglop

Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 4.0.: I wish all of you had a wonderful weekend, independently for the spooky celebrations and alike! For me, they were a bitter and really tough days more much for a family issue related with health and so, so I get mostly of my time in the hospital and moving things from here to there. But thankfully, the things went better and I'm finally able to share my progression with you all! Been crazy weeks to be honest, and despite I got just a bunch and counted trophies they are meaningful though with regard to this challenge. Also, in midst of the PS5 release and seeing few games are going to be closed by their servers I think I should make more adjustments for my list. Doesn't think about that pretty much but I believe I can give a try and see how that can perform. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered – 0%100% GTA V – 33%43% Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – 40%48% Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades – 0% Final Fantasy VII [OG] – 0% Lego Marvel’s Super Heroes 2 – 0% Psychonauts – 0% Doom Eternal – 0% Star Wars Battlefront II – 0% Cuphead – 0% Swaps used - 1/5: Assassin's Creed OriginsGTA V Well, a very little progress here, apparently. The reason for this is quite simple. GTA Online challenges are daunting and take their time to make them right. We finally beat the Criminal Mastermind II, which represents ⅓ of the actual trophy! My approach in every game since I started in this trophy hunting thing is to hit all multiplayer trophies first to then hop into the single player experience. I believe that that approach avoids you of any server shutdown by beforehand as I told above, and then you can give yourself an overall experience of what you can encounter in the single player version. First, we ran the Doomsday Heists and died multiple times in multiple missions. But that actually gave us strength and better insights for the true run. And that's the result; it took us 2 weeks to finish the challenge (Heists in order, on hard difficulty, with the same team, without dying and doing all preparation missions, without any skip), mainly because the game reset our progress, wiping out all our effort through the toilet... but we had hope and persevere until the end! Now, we're aiming for the CM III & IV. Second, I've mastered many sections of the heists, knowing best spots to kill enemies and spending time grinding for weapons which increase our success rate, made this possible. We can now become efficient for the 2 remaining trophies which are just a matter of time rather than luck or skill. Honestly, at the end of the first CM I felt so proud and excited that I can't wait to do it again. I believe that true entertainment becomes when you're good at something; like your reward for such dedication and effort! For NS: UNS4, the requirements for the trophies mainly for being flawless in every match can be pretty annoying at moments. I've spent like an hour in doing the last that I played, but mostly I like to watch the cutscenes since they're dubbed and the anime never got that far in my country, despite I read all the manga in its time of course. I like the game, motivates me as I like Naruto a whole (except for Boruto, that shit should never have been existed in the first place). But I guess I'm close to the Platinum. But again, that DLC, oh my God... Do I have to pay 20 bucks for just 3 trophies? No way. I would, of course but when a deal comes out. Not now. I'm going to stay then focus into the remaining trophies altogether. Then I can move forward to other games since the time constraints are more palpable now that before. Alright people, log entry finishing now. I haven't read many of yours to be honest, but sometimes I lurk and makes me glad that you're doing well and chilling around with your lists! Stay good, have a wonderful month of November with all the new generation if you're going to jump in straight away and looking to you next! Happy hunting, my comrades. First of all I hope you're all still doing okay and had a great halloween, despite the current circumstances. It's been quite a while since my last entry and I apologize for the lack of updates so far. Lame excuse probably but the games I've been playing lately have been quite good overall and often hard to put down, leaving little to no free time to actually post about my progress here. Progress: Since my last update I did manage to fully complete 2 of my games and I also got pretty close to the platinum in some others already as well. I'll post my thoughts and opinions on the 2 completed games below for those who are interested, for the other games I'll just shortly state what progress was made and which tasks are still ahead of me on the road to platinum, I'll give my full review on those later as soon as I've fully completed them. LEGO Harry Potter Collection: Years 5-7 (Not really any spoilers here so don't worry, just trying to tone down the size of the post) Spoiler Admittedly, at first glance the whole thing seems pretty goofy and dumb and it doesn't seem to take itself and/or its source material serious at all which could have been insulting and offputting to some long term fans of the HP series if it wasn't done in such a charming and overall funny way. For someone who read the books and watched the movies probably countless times upon this point, playing through this game did not only fill me to the brim with nostalgia, the different presentation of the story also even made it feel somewhat new and fresh. It did manage to get some genuine laughs out of me, which is remarkable for a game without any dialogue whatsoever. I was also really happy to see (and hear) that they did actually include the original soundtrack of the movies into the game (even though some of my personal favourite tracks were sadly missing). Gameplaywise it's just a lot of fun to play through this as well, it's the perfect game to just sit back, relax and enjoy your time with, even though there were some aspects, like the water spell, the repeating and often slow leviosa building animations and especially the new duel mechanic, which became a bit tedious and annoying after a while. One thing I really liked, however, was the metroidvania style hub world where it really felt like you were able to explore more & more of Hogwarts the more experienced you became as a wizard, especially in the first game. What I didn't like as much was the fact that they also locked you out on a lot of the collectibles inside the missions on your first playthrough this way, basically forcing you to replay them all in order to reach 100%. It's not that bad since they are very short of course but to me it just didn't really add anything to the experience and it felt more of a chore having to play them all over again. Finally trophywise: it's for sure a notoriously easy game to plat like all LEGO games. There's really nothing challenging about it at all, but it is of course always scary on a game with this many collectibles that something is going to glitch on you, leaving you with no choice but to restart the entire thing. Luckily everything went smooth for me. I tried to find most things on my own since I do enjoy exploring things myself a lot and afterwards I just cleaned up the ones I missed using the red bricks and/or the (very good) PSN guide. Overall I really enjoyed this game, despite its aforementioned flaws. It did encourage me to order some other LEGO games like the Lord of the rings and the Hobbit as well, which should arrive somewhere this week, looking forward to those already! Murdered: Soul Suspect (Beware, includes some story spoilers!!) Spoiler I'm quite mixed on this one to be honest. Overall I did enjoy my time with this game but I just can't help but to feel like there is a lot of wasted potential here. Not that the premise of being a ghost trying to solve his own murder was that original to begin with, but it definitely was something that seemed pretty interesting and creative to me at first and I was looking forward to see all the things I would be capable to do as a spooky dead detective. It's just really dissapointing to realise that your most important power (towards the plot at least) is the ability to touch other ghosts and look into their past, which isn't even something you really do yourself as it's mainly done through cutscenes. I was often left wondering what exactly the point and/or benefit of us being a ghost really was since most of the time I just felt inferior to humans as they seemed to have a lot less trouble traversing areas compared to me, which is just really ironic, and they also didn't have to deal with the annoying demons all the time (I still don't know why they had to add those). I get that they probably wanted to add some sort of challenge and puzzle aspect to an otherwise very storydriven game, and it would have been completely fine too if only you were giving a fun arsenal of ghost powers to play around with, but in the end all of the abilities were just extremely lackluster and even felt like unnecesarry additions to merely waste the player's time. I'm not going into too much detail but the biggest letdown personally for me was that you couldn't even control anyone by possessing them (ok besides cats but cmon). Since it's later revealed to be such an important aspect of the plot it's even more baffling how they didn't think to implement this more into the gameplay itself. Oh well, I actually don't really like to be this negative towards a game, for one because I realise a lot of care and effort was put into it but also because I, despite my hate speech, still did in fact enjoy playing it. Exploring the town of Salem was quite a lot of fun and hunting down all of the different collectibles is something I'll always enjoy in any game (even though the murals were kinda annoying to find on your own). The creepy atmosphere of the game is also something that will really drag you in, it manages to set the right mood very well. The story is ultimately really why you should play this game imo. it's also the reason why I, despite my issues with the gameplay, still often found myself unable to put it down. I just wanted to see the mystery unravel. It's not the best story you'll ever see, but I have to admit that the twist at the end was in fact pretty good and quite unexpected, even though the clues were clearly given to you throughout the game, albeit very subtle which is just very well done on their part. It's one of those "oh that's why" moments and I really loved it. So to quickly summarise spoiler free: I am still tempted to recommend this game to those who enjoy a good murder mystery detective game, but mainly just to experience the story, since the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired imo. Progress on other games (no spoilers) Spoiler -Doom 3 is basically done at this point, all 3 campaigns have been completed on nightmare difficulty, only the final boss of the Resurrection of Evil DLC remains, just kinda waiting for the ideal moment to pop it now -Erica: completed 1 (blind) playthrough already just to experience the game spoiler free. It's not really my type of game tbh but it's not too bad to plat it, I'll just need to plan out my final 5-6 playthroughs a bit to make them as efficient as possible. -Snake pass: completed 13 out of 16 levels so far, but I will unfortunately have to replay most of them for the no deaths trophy, right now I'm just focusing on collectibles though. Couple of tricky miscellaneous trophies left as well, but nothing too challenging (I hope). -Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time: no progress so far, finding it hard to boot up my ps3 these days, especially with ps5 just around the corner. Lastly, I would also like to add Outlast 2 to my list as a little halloween special this year ^^ I'm actually halfway through the game at this point already but the trophies are mostly tied to the endgame. Not sure if it's smart to include this one for the challenge as the insane playhtrough can be an absolute b*tch but oh well, we were given the swaps for a reason I guess That will be all, apologies for the lengthy post, feel free to skip of course. Good luck with all of your lists and most importantly, stay safe! Edited November 3, 2020 by Flex_Da_Brent
Popular Post freddie1989
Update for me this week!! Far Cry New Dawn is now complete, I have mixed feelings on this one. The story was pretty meh to be honest and I didn't like the way they used expeditions and outposts to fatten it up. It may as well have been a DLC without all the repetitive bits thrown in. Gameplay I love in the series so never any complaint there but not their best one. Huge shout out to @masdawg1988 for making those expeditions less of a pain!! Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Bonus update on my end with a few additions: Added Immortals: Fenyx Rising as I just noticed it releases in December! I had my eye on this since it was originally called God & Monsters. I also added Shadow of Mordor because the platinum will be unobtainable in December and it's been something I have wanted to play for ages - it has one 'online' trophy and they will be shutting down their servers next month. I also added both Rebel Galaxy games I started and finished during the challenge, but forgot to put them in the list - I can 100% remove them if this is against the rules. Wanted to play something on Vita since I may as well chip away at a longer game still in the backlog there and I'm always up for a good dungeon crawler. This one is made by the same dev as Demon Gaze, so I'm not surprised that it takes some time to get a solid party built up before you can make much progress, but I can deal with some grinding to build up a party and have gotten a few trophies that way Otherwise I started Trails of Cold Steel IV and Song of Memories.
Popular Post Static_Rook
Mid-week mini update 11/4/2020 Swaps: Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Maxiboost ON 8% -> Everybody's Gone to the Rapture 0% Nobunaga's Ambition Sphere of Influence 1% -> Shenmue II 0% I'm using my final 2 swaps. Taking out a couple 100+ hour games and swapping in a couple quicker and easier ones. But they're not Ratalaika games this time! I like Gundam MBON, but it would take me too long to "git gud" for 200 online wins. It doesn't help that it's a niche title, so most people playing online are hardcore killers. So, like DBFZ before it, Gundam has to go. And Nobunaga is a game I've been trying to get into for years. I thought using it in one of these challenges would be enough motivation, but I still can't get into it. Eventually I'll sit down and make myself play all the sim/strategy games I've got on PS4, but I'm not ready to do that just yet. Still working on Sekiro for this week. It's slow going, but I'm getting the hang of it. Take care! Popular Post Together_Comic
So I managed to break my arm in early august which definitely has put me behind on events that I signed up for, but here's my first update. Started Everybody's Golf earlier this week. The game is enjoyable and chill. A nice game to just kind of play on the go when you have 15-30 mins, but man does it get stale when you grind out the trophies for it. There just isn't that much variety or things to do. Not to mention the requirement for fighting all the secret versus characters which seems innocuous requires playing 120 challenge cups of the same 6 or so courses over and over, as well as 50 eagles etc which add to the monotony. Definitely not going to be a fun grind. Oh well. Without getting existential with if trophies add or detract from the enjoyment of the game, I am enjoying the start. And a big part of it is just getting started. Here's what's left. 1. Everybody's Golf (26%) 15/31 2. Cuphead (0%) 3. Ni No Kuni (0%) 4. Mass Effect: Andromeda (1%) 5. Kingdom Come: Deliverence (28%)
Popular Post freddie1989
2nd update this week for me, that has been a long time!! Finished Deponia off last night. Not sure what I think, the story is mildly amusing but the concept of the game is too much of a mess about for me to be arsed with late of an evening so I used a guide for most of it mainly to avoid missable trophies. I will likely do the same with the others to get them done. Ghost Recon Wildlands 7% The Last of Us Remastered 0% Far Cry New Dawn 100% Horizon Zero Dawn 0% Resident Evil 7 0% Deponia 2% - 100% Deponia Doomsday 0% Chaos on Deponia 0% Goodbye Deponia 0% Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 0% Life is Strange 2 100%
Popular Post Copanele
Update day: 1. One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 - achieved 2. Far Cry Primal - achieved 3. Diablo III : Reaper of Souls - achieved 4. Middle-earth : Shadow of Mordor (PS3) - achieved 5. Trine : Enchanted Edition - 12% 6. Naruto : Ultimate Ninja Storm - 3% 7. Shadow of the Colossus - 2% 8. BioShock Infinite(PS3) - 1% Shadow of Mordor - this game almost broke my spirit on PS3. The most bug ridden game ever. Which is a shame because the game itself is super good. I assume the PS4 version works smooth as butter. Next game will be either Trine or Bioshock Infinite idk. Wanna play something else before I tackle the rest of the list. 4 down, 4 to go wooo!!!!

noland208
I plan on doing some PS5 games when it launches. More specifically Demon Souls and the new spider man game. I also wanna tackle the multiplayer of GTA 4. So I don't have to worry about it later. Some other games I would like to do are Outlast 2, Injustice, TLOU Remastered, COD WW2, the first Crash game, and maybe some random PS3 games. I'm going to struggle a little with Outlast and Injustice, but it's nothing I can't do. I'm really excited!

Popular Post dark_moon689
Update 5: I figured it was time for an update since I haven't written here in over a month or so. Not much progress for me, I finished the last of us multiplayer along with a few online trophies for other games that are not in my list but I might add later since they are under the completion threshold I just want to finish some of the ones here before committing to even more games. And in the same breath I'll let you know I added another game I started a few days ago and I am almost done with. October just wasn't good for me, but I think I can get back on track. Or I hope so. 1. (PS4) The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition - 10% / 14% 2. (PS4) Darksiders II - 8% / 3. (PS4) Persona 5 - 4% / 11% 4. (PS3) Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishment - 0% / 5. Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
another Friday , another update. First of all ; congrats on some really great progress some of you have made! Well done! AC Chronicles Finished the China part of this bundle. Needed to do 2 walk troughs which I normally hate but I find the game really relaxing. I have now started the India part and it has some great backgrounds. Impressive for a 2,5D game! Hitman 2 Finished the Sapienza DLC and I am almost finished now with the Marakesh DLC. Last one was a bit more complicated as you are dropped in the middle of riots and have to enter a heavy secured embassy and a former school were some general has his base (and you need to kill). Some really nice challenges like dropping a toilet on the head of the general.....? Star Wars BF II Just knocked out one trophy. Don't want to really start this without finishing one of the two of the above games first Current status Plans next weeks: Since my ambition is to bring up my completion rate I still play some other games too, eating time away from games for this challenge. - progress on AC Chronicles - progress on Hitman 2 - progress on BD3 DLC (not part of this trophy) Happy trophy hunting everyone!

Popular Post Alternatewarning
Fall/Winter Challenge Update #6 Ya, I missed basically a month. Good news is: I succeeded in my writing event and finished something for every prompt. Bad news is, that gave me very little time to game. I did, however, manage to finish Trails of Cold Steel II! So now it's time to fly through everything else! I aim to get 7 more plats this year and that's going to be a challenge. As such I am adding Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online. (@MidnightDragon) Am I nuts? Probably. So far I'm enjoying both Neptunia and Code Realize. I'm blasting through Neptunia. I remember hearing that it was faster than some of the others but clearly that's the case. I'm enjoying it though. The bosses are giant HP sponges and I wish I could give tactics to one parts member at a time but oh well. It works. The game is still fun and funny. Trails of Cold Steel II Discussion: Spoiler I really, really wish these games didn't require you to play on nightmare. To me it is not fun at all. Now, I managed to find a good cheese-it strategy for literally every boss in the game aside from the final one in the Corridor so that's what made it bearable. I don't mind doing a NG+, I mind having to be an expert at a game that is already so, so long. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II (21% > 100%) Amnesia Later×Crowd (10% > 15%) Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk Chaos;Child Death Mark (17% > 100%) Amnesia World Code: Realize - Future Blessings (0% > 5%) Code: Realize - Wintertide Miracles Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online (0% > 32%)
