Update a Trophy List

Is this the right thread to report info that can be added in the right side bar?

All these "*ump Jump" games are published and developed by Zakym s.r.o.:

https://psnprofiles.com/games?developer=41729-zakym

https://psnprofiles.com/games?publisher=41729-zakym

Example of a game which is missing this info but there's a lot more lists that lack this info:

Metadata is collected from IGDB. If a game does not have an IGDB page with a recognizable Sony release, then it will not have an associated meta data sidebar. IGDB is a 3rd party with their own rules and approval processes which make creating metadata entries a slow and lengthy process. Since this data is not native to PSNP, meaning the GIT team cannot make the metadata freely, reporting this information in this thread does not serve a purpose in collecting those entries for the purposes of trophy list updates.

I mostly work with IGDB and several community members in updating meta data privately. It is an extraordinarily tedious process that I do in my free time. If anyone has an interest in metaupdates, the approval process, and related queries, they should reach out to me privately.

To reiterate, PSNP does not create the meta data you see on trophy pages natively, it comes from IGDB. There should be a "METADATA BY IGDB" footnote on all meta entries on PSNP.

Well, I was hoping you guys could bypass IGDB integration and fill in the blanks directly on PSNP. Seems like PSNP admin dashboard does not allow that. ?‍♂️

That is a shared global list between NA and Asia so no tag is needed :).

I don't agree. Only lists shared between EU/NA should be considered global for convenience sake. Most people using this site are from one of those regions after all.

Many games release in EU/NA with different lists, then in AS/JP sharing either one of those EU/NA lists. With your logic someone has to go through all stackable games ever released in AS/JP region that don't have it's own list and decide if it shares the EU or NA list and then untag that list as global.

The Button Be has a third list shared between AU/NZ/Germany, tough one to tag.

Other things I've noticed is that ''Ninja Break Head to Head'' is missing from the ''Break'' series.

And the ''Fun'' and ''Run'' games from that same developer are bunched into one series. Maybe separate those into two series, have a feeling the number of ''Fun'' games will rise significantly.

When will Korean be added to the trophy list?
All other sites support Korean properly, but the psnprofiles still doesn't.
(ex : https://(URL not allowed)/leaderboard/main
https://www.exophase.com/)

A site upgrade a while back, knocked out other language support so no new ones will be added until that problem is fixed at some point in the future.

https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/14148-efootball-2022 and https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/14149-efootball-2022 need a rescan as they've both been renamed to eFootball 2023 on PSN and the icons have updated to reflect that name change as well.

https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/8954-world-war-z/ needs a rescan as the trophy description for :gold:'Well, what did you achieve?' has changed.

Assuming both consoles had a name change/update? Image updated pretty quick for the ps5 version,  hasn't updated yet on ps4... I'll clear my cache later today and check again.

You're right, I just checked again and it seems like the PS4 version did get the name change but didn't get the updated icon ?. Guess they forgot...

Can we get an updates on pso2? Phantasy star online 2? I feel like the trophies should be converted to English now.

This doesn't need the PH tag since it's the only stack of this game available.

I think it should be the other way around. Games that have been delisted, but have a physical release, should be marked with PH so people know how and where to find them.

Regardless of if a game has a single platform of availability, the tags are used to notate where, specifically, the game is. If it is only available physically, then it gets the physical tag. If it is available digitally, it is tagged as appropriately as possible with the tags we have available. We used to not do this however, but has been a consistent practice since 2019/20 when we spoke on it as a team in our staff room. On occasion, there has been conflicting information on this matter, but it has mostly stayed consistent. The idea is to inform trophy hunters explicitly how and where the trophy list is obtained, whether it be physical or digital, for the benefit of the trophy hunter. Now, whether or not splatterhouse is a physical only item is another matter that I don't have time to look into at this moment.
