Popular Post CorporalBowser
Red Faction II...such a disappointment. Ok, backing up a little bit; Red Faction II is a fun FPS single-player experience, similar to how the single-player experiences were for Goldeneye 64 or Perfect Dark. It's got decent locales, nice assortment of varying weapons, and a lot of opportunities to cause havoc on land, in the air and underwater. So what's the issue? Well, it's a good game, but a terrible Red Faction game. I remember playing this when it came out and when it was all said and done, I was wondering, even then, what the heck happened to one of my favorite gaming experiences of the PS2 era in the original Red Faction. While yes, technically there are threads binding the two games together, those threads are shoddy at best. Spoiler It doesn't even take place on Mars, for crying out loud. It basically loses the humanity of the first game's revolutionary fighters and places you in the role of a super soldier...you know, something we've seen a lot of...that I really just don't care about. So, rant aside...fun game, enjoyable time...but this isn't Red Faction, regardless of what it shows on the title screen. (I might still be grumpy from the flu...sorry.) Popular Post BlitzkriegHottie
Wacky Waving Inflatable Tu- Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars So let me start with the fucking "why?": I knew about Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars's existence (because of its brain damaged title) but never really bothered even googling it until the 'Server Closure and Delistings' guys mentioned it, which is where I found out about Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars being the prequel / prototype to Rocket League, a game I enjoyed quite a bit so I said "what the heck, let's do this, let's 100% the whole franchise" and so I did. I jumped in completely unprepared and oblivious to the never ending, agonizing, rage filled Tartarus that awaited me. Also, I was planning to use this as my "racing/sports" entry in the Bingo but now I've realised this is a PS3 exclusive not available anywhere else so I might make it my "Platform Exclusive" entry instead. It's either Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars or Katamari Forever... another game about juggling balls... interesting... That's the fucking "why?" done, now here's the "Oh God, why?!": The 100% is divided in three parts, and this is the order I did them in: 1. Online This is the easy part, you can boost it with yourself. Only takes a few hours (4?). Apparently this was hell because you had to do it legit back in the day which could easily make this 100% even more unbearable. So if you're planning on hunting this then yes, you can "quickly" get all MP trophies. 2. Challenges This was hell. TWENTY unforgiving challenges, with some of the most brutal difficulty spikes thrown in between for good measure. The only guide available (pstrophies) states this 100% is a "20 hours" journey, which got the guide's maker some hate, with people blaming him for 'tricking them into starting an impossible 100%' to which I partly agree with since just the challenges took me 20 hours. It's doable, however. Spoiler My favorite comment: "Isn't the time for beating the game supposed to be for the average gamer? I considered myself an above average gamer with this game as I played it for weeks after it first came out... yet I never could get all the stars (after much longer than 20 hours). I must be the sludge of crap if the average gamer can pull this off in 20 hours. I think the 20 should be a more realistic 100" 3. Tournaments Ah silly me, I get destroyed again but this time for thinking the hard part was over. The initial tournaments are just as hellish as the hardest challenges (or maybe even harder?) which pretty much instantly put me in raging g*mer mode. At that point there was no tolerance left, I started regretting starting this even harder. Oh you know the drill, you've been there: the yelling, the cursing, the controller smashing, the microwaving of parakeets... Y'know, the usual gamer stuff. Why "initially"? because, ironically, the harder the tournaments get, the easier the perfect ranks get. I raged and suffered through tournaments 1-6 but I blitzed through 7-13 earlier this day which is insane since I had already made up my mind that I was going to be enslaved to this for at least one more week. Finally some fucking luck. Or maybe I just got really good? Maybe (since there's no platinum) the real treasure was the microwaved parakeets gitting gud along the way? ?Maybe I can now log in to Rocket League and make everyone my bitch??? A quick explanation for why the initial tourneys are the worst: You have to WIN by 8 goals and you only get 3 minutes to accomplish that. This means that if they score on you, you'll have to score 9 instead... All of this leads to the main issue: Your teammates are the fucking worst! They're really good... at BLOCKING YOUR CLEAR CHANCES AT GOALS, OVERSHOOTING TO THE SIDES WHEN THEY'RE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BOX AND FOR FUCKING DEFENDING THE OPPOSING TEAM WITH THEIR BRAIN DAMAGED AI AND LEAVING YOU TO GET GANGRAPED BY ALL THE REDS WHILST THEY WATCH FROM A DISTANCE AS YOU DESPERATELY TRY TO FULFILL YOUR 3 GOALS PER MINUTE QUOTA! It's not 2/3/4 vs 2/3/4, its 3 vs You, 5 vs You and 7 vs You. Me annihilating the poor son of a bitch in the 7th Tournament after learning how to exploit that one unique arena. 9-0 lol *cries* Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit? All I can say is that this is definitely harder than anything I did in 2022. Or at least more infuriating. If you're a Rocket League pro (i never was) then this must be a cakewalk, however. Trophy Guide's difficulties: -playstationtrophies: 8.5/10 -playstationtrophies (user poll): 9/10 Personal Time to 100%: 35-40h Personal difficulty: 8.5 I was ready to give this a 10/10 when I started the tournaments but luckily they got quite manageable in the second half and even fun?(!) The ultimate plot-twist indeed. Tier 1 Update -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I started to go with Bleed for my recommendation but ultimately decided to follow @AvengedEvil 's recommendation since Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars was stressful enough and my tier 1 is Stress Central already. Also, yes, all of my entries have a reasoning behind them since I think I'll attempt an all-ultra rare Bingo Card: Tier 1 1. Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars: 1.36% (Racing / Sports) 2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows: 1.97% (Series New to You) 3. Lost Planet 3: 1.67% (In-game Weather Effects) 4. Armored Core Veredict Day: 1.11% (Either 'Robots / Aliens' or 'Has Player Controlled Vehicles') 5. Lone Survivor 4.58% (Recommended by a PSNP member) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyways I'm really proud of this unexpectedly hellish (I genuinelly thought it was going to be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier) completion but I'm also pissed I don't have a platinum to show off. See you all later! Edited January 12, 2023 by BlitzkriegHottie
Popular Post MD_91
First few games done for Tier 1 1. Ark: Survival Evolved (4.73%) 2. Fifa 23 PS4 (2.16%) 3. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (3.52%) I only played Ark and LiaDS because I've had them since they were free on ps plus and they work for several events I'm taking part in, Ark was just following a guide for a couple of hours but Lovers was actually pretty enjoyable, no doubt it's better as a co-op game but playing with the ai wasn't too painful especially since you can play on whatever difficulty you want to get everything done Fifa is an easy ultra rare every year and 23 is probably the easiest one so far it's just a bit grindy
Popular Post Arcesius
No finished games for me just yet, but it has been a month since Neon White released and it is still UR, so I'm confirming it as one of my Tier 1 entries! I can give a quick update on my progress... Let's start with Bleed. I actually started practicing again after having left the game on hold for about a year. It... is a bit more fun than it used to be, and I don't hate my life whenever I boot it up, so the break was indeed needed and helped for sure ? I have been practicing each individual level on Hard so far, and my plan is to focus on this game as soon as I finish the other two I'm currently playing (three games at once is a little bit too much for me, given my available gaming time...). Which brings me to the best game I've played recently (I started this late in December 22)... Neon White. Holy shit, who would have thought that the developer of chill games like The Unfinished Swan, What Remains of Edith Finch or Donut Country would end up being responsible for one of the best, high-octane, incredibly fun games of the last years ? What a nice surprise! I haven't touched the game since Sunday, since all I have left to complete the game are two full-game runs that take ~80-100 minutes each and need to be done in one sitting.. And I just haven't had the time available to start working on those. One of those runs with as many retries per level as needed, and one run with one single life. I expect the latter to take a while to complete. I completed a similar full-game run on Sunday with another character (that only has one specific card available) and that took ~4-5h of attempts, and I reckon that was the easier run to complete. So due to the lack of time, I actually started Tricky Towers, a game that can be easily played in short bursts. I just finished all 50 Trials and was even lucky enough to finish Trial 50 with three hearts the first time I actually passed the Trial, which is usually considered to be the hardest trophy in the game ? So I can't complain. Otherwise, I boosted all online trophies with @Mori and @Koro249, so those are done as well. I will keep cleaning up the remaining trophies / challenges while going for the last runs in Neon White. As for the other two games, I might do Neon Drive since it's a Bounty and quite short, and will then decide whether to start DmC5 or go with OlliOlli World first instead. We'll see, it will still be a while before I need to start something new Edited January 12, 2023 by Arcesius
Popular Post Koro249
I would like to join the event this year again and give you a little update on my progress for tier 1. Neon White - A game I was really looking forward to play on Playstation and thoroughly enjoyed, it met all my expectations. Unfortunately, the launch was not too successful, with some game breaking bugs, such as your save file potentially wiping when you close the game. For me personally, the all collectible trophy didn't pop. I'm waiting on a patch here and hope it will be fixed. Otherwise will have to replay it again. GTA V - Just as i remembered it form almost 10 years ago, this game is a blast. I had so much fun throughout the story and the characters are just hilarious. The story had me smiling all the way through. Now I'm onto the offline cleanup, which is unfortunately very tedious and I'm losing motivation, but will slowly finish it up. Really looking forward to the online part with my coop partners. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - On my quest to finishing all Resi games I would have to inevitably play this one. I will agree with the reviews that this game is not the best, although I'm not really hating it either - mowing down zombies just always kinda gets me. The real pain will come from the S+ ranks though I imagine, which have set requirements: Kills, Deaths, Time and, of course, Collectibles. So not only are the requirements really tough and you have to be on your A-game all the time, you will also need to get most of the collectibles on EVERY attempt for a level...why? And don't get me started on the tedious multiplayer trophies. Anyway, hit me up if you want to boost them lol. Tricky Towers - My lowest priority rn. Just finished the online stuff with @Arcesius and @Mori. Tried some trials and it seems like a fun little game. Super Mutant Alien Assault (Vita) - I've been secretly playing this one on my Vita in offline mode and have only one trophy left which is giving me some trouble. I hope to finish this one very soon.

Popular Post Cruscah
The campaign was fine, there were some memorable sections but nothing out of extraordinary (was not expecting anything like that tbh). The hardest trophy in the game is to finish every level in Tier 1, a mode where you have one life and a time limit, sounds hard on paper but it's really easy. The MP feels like a mixture of BF movements and COD maps, which doesn't match up well, there are a lot of trophy hunters in the wild and if they know about boosting methods you can get everything done quite fast. Lovely Planet (0.00%) 0% Medal of Honor (3.32%) 100% OlliOlli2 (0.64%) 0% SSX (2.32%) 15% Superhot (4.87%) 0% Spoiler Maybe I'll stop hunting records in Neon White to finally wrap-up the platinum, but SSX is likely going to be the next one.
Popular Post VirtualNight
Cleared FantaVision: Fun: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 7/10 This is a sort of puzzle game where you chain fireworks and make them explode, where every missed one drops your HP. Theoretically a super simple game, but it may may be impossible if you don't learn some important mechanics first, especially for the worst trophies. The Hard run already requires quick linking between fireworks, delayed explosions and sometimes being able to immediately change strategy, as well as know when it is wiser to miss some fireworks since trying to get them would make you lose way more. I had to choose the English language since the Italian is dubbed by a mother trying to cheer up her 1 yr old children, this decision definitely improved my skills and helped me to learn how to play efficiently faster. I ignored the Zombies and the DLC because of the typical long drawn out cryptic bullshit Easter eggs that require watching half hour videos from people on YouTube that are 'super excited'. The Campaign is entirely forgettable but it's the Multiplayer that really drew me in as it does with most CoD games. Not too much to say apart from that to be honest as it's a known quantity at this point that CoD games with Zombies trophies will always be an Ultra Rare Plat. Happy to scratch another CoD game off the list in my quest to get every game in the series to 100%. Popular Post CorporalBowser
Strike Vector EX is an awesome game for many reasons: It has mechs. Nice. It's controls are simplified, but still fun and challenging to master. It has a decent amount of content for its genre. But most of all? It supplies its multiplayer mode with bots, allowing you to still play the mode even with the lobbies dead (which they very much are). I mean, ignoring even the trophies, being able to play the entirety of what a game has to offer even after its "lifespan" is over is something of a rarity it seems, these days. Sure, the bots are idiots, but darn it if they didn't help me unlock every last trophy in the multiplayer list. The Pappy 45 trophy is certainly grindy, and some of the challenges in the arenas can be a little tricky, but I enjoy this experience every time I boot the game up. Popular Post MrHealthy
Team Sonic Racing Bounty get. I was expecting to be disappointed in this game after hearing so many negative things about its team mechanics and difficulty. But I kinda loved it. The team mechanics really clicked for me and I found the difficulty to be just right. Expert mode which seems to give a lot of people trouble I had no real issues with using Omega spec'd into boost and defense. Cleared all race events including the grand prix's in max two tries. The most difficult part of the game are the challenge events which did take many attempts but never felt impossible. With enough practice I did them all. The daredevil and ring events where the worst ones general. The keys were not difficult just kinda dumb often making me replay events in ways that don't really make sense for a racing game. I should not be hanging back to get weapon hits. Overall enjoyed my time with this a lot. Only disliked like 2 of the tracks. Felt challenged in a satisfying way. 5/10 difficulty. 8/10 fun. Popular Post VirtualNight
Cleared Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Difficulty: 4/10 Fun: 8.5 (without considering crashes, bricked console and the "Online" mode) I really liked the prequel on ps3, so I was happy to do this game for ps4... however, at the same time my console got bricked from this game and I had to change the HDD, after that I decided to ignore the game until I'd get a ps5. That's why I went back on the game after over 2 years, since I finally got a ps5, one of my hardest achievements ever. The story mode was very enjoyable, especially since it has to be done without raise alarms and not kil anyone, so you get a great stealth/strategic experience. After that, my ps4 got bricked, then I recently went back and resumed from the Breach mode which people hate. I didn't like it much since it feels very monotonous but I definitely don't think it is as bad as people make it sound, there is a known glitch which greatly speeds up the mode so if you push for it you can finish in a few days. I rushed for the 2 SP dlcs without bothering with their story, I didn't want to stay on the game too long due to what happened to my ps4. Popular Post Prometheous101
Well, here we go with 1st UR completion of 2023.The Jackbox Party Pack 4 EU STACK 1.09% NON PLAT 1/10, 3-4 hours. 4 URs. Party games collection. Can be played locally with your friends, no phone application required. All is played over a browser. Or it can be streamed to your online friends ,tell them the room code and talk in voice chat. 5 mini games ,ranging from drawing games, writing answers to dumb questions then seeing which wins. In this case a monster dating game. and a few other mini games. 6 nights. Each night every person gets 5 messages to send and choose whom to date at the end. Each monster has abilities that alter the game in fun ways. Nobody knows what the other monsters are. Plenty of fun. I played jackbox games for almost 100 hours with my friends. This is my 3rd jackbox completion. Definitely recommend this for fun....or easy ultra rares. Can be boostable solo with 1 PC/LAPTOP. NOTE: We usually ended up playing Fibbage 1,2 and 3. Fibbage 4 which is available on Jackbox 9 havent tried yet. Jackbox 1 has Fibbage 1, Jackbox 2 has Fibbage 2, and this one, jackbox 4 has fibbage 3. Fibbage is a game where you get a sentence with an unbelievable fun fact... but 1 word is missing. Its everyones task to create a word that people would believe is a part of the sentence. Can be quite funny as the sentences often are either goofy, or intentionally made by devs to sound a bit friendly to the good ol ur mum jokes and stuff like that. Once every answer is written everyone guesses from peoples answers + one true answer. All are good in their own way. Popular Post SlimSanta94
Leo's Fortune completed! Difficulty - 3/5 Enjoyment - 4/5 Easily the fastest achiever. The fastest before me was nearly 2 hours. The game itself is quite charming and fun. It has a nice story and it's pretty chill to play casually as it has a perfect balance of difficulty in my opinion. The only thing I don't like is how Leo controls, it feels like he bathed himself in butter before starting his journey because he can accelerate on a dime, particularly when you're on a slope and this gives him a tendency to just dash straight into a spike or off of a cliff for no apparent reason. This was the only thing that made hardcore mode feel difficult to me, I feel like I would've beaten this way sooner otherwise. Good game overall, would recommend trying it out but I wouldn't recommend trying hardcore mode.

I barely missed it the first time I played the level Thanks man! That's really annoying, I had 2 crashes also but they were pretty early into my runs thankfully. Can't imagine getting so far just to have it crash.
