What's the feelings on this for an orange?

While everyone's sharing, here's what I'm considering for the event

 

I mix of games I was planning to start in the near future, and some backlog games that a decently short and fit the theme! 

 

For anyone looking for inspiration, everything other than Disgaea 6 and Final Fantasy XIII-2 is probably 15 hours long at max

Great to see the interest in this event and also the number of games / suggestions people are posting. I am discovering some new titles which is always awesome, actually quite a shock to me there are games under 80%   I doubt there are any of us that haven't been touched either directly or indirectly by cancer so I am happy to be able to donate to this event as well. I will go with $2AUD a game for the first 500 games then $1AUD a game thereafter with a minimum 1k AUD donation to the Australian Cancer Council. I am sure we will smash the 500 games total.

Welcome back @Beyondthegrave07 . I`ve been part of this in 2021 and 2022 and for sure will contribute couple of games again in 2023!

Both work for orange.

 

The thumbnail for WRC9 is almost like the Denver Broncos colors (which is orange, navy, and white). 

 

And The outer worlds here works. The title is a lighter shade of orange and the right side behind the head is clearly orange too. Checks out to me.

I would say the lettering is definitely orange.

I'd like to join this year, I had a birthday real recently and I got this little gem that I doubt wouldn't work for Pink.

 

I do have a question whether Endling PS5 is pink and/or orange? The fox fur is meant to be orange, but the shadow makes it look kinda pink or grey, I'm genuinely unsure.

Both of these are fine. Endling to me is like a weird darker shade of pinkish orange color (let's just call it orange). Passes the 5 second rule.

I've really been waiting for this event and I can't wait to contribute to the 2023 edition as well 💪

 

Unfortunately, I can already tell I won't be able to complete many games because of massive changes in my life, but I'll do my best to complete at least one game for pink and orange.

 

To be honest, this event is something else. It really makes me proud of being part of the PSNprofiles community.

But seriously, thank you for the kind words. I would advise others to do the same in other events you enjoy as well or to at least be sure to thank them for the event afterwards because I think there's a lot of people who hold some great events on PSNP and believe that they do an amazing job of bringing us all closer together whether for charity or not. Definitely not something that should be taken for granted!

For Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, the game isn't finished yet I still need the platinum and the number 2 is way more pink than it is in the original Dead Rising 2 thumbnail, but I understand if you don't want to count it given my large prior progress.

Yeah, I think off the record is okay. The original one would not work though, I agree. All of these look fine to me. The pink/orange is noticeable enough.

after all the support you gave me last year I'm here if ya need a vent even if i do lurk more then i talk on these forums.... something i do want to change but never been one to find socialising easy lol.

 

 

also side note would you lot say resi 8 counts for orange to me the eye looks light orange but wanna confirm before i try claiming it as my first one :D.

I haven't participated in one of these before (...I think) and I've got plenty of games I need to complete, especially on my PS3 and Vita, so I'll give this a try!

 

Here are the games I'm gonna try to complete, all of which are orange. (Need for Speed: The Run will have to be just the Platinum because I'm missing its now-unobtainable DLC trophies.)

 

 

Maybe if I finish all of them, I'll try to add more games, but for now this will be plenty for me to do. I've got to buy LittleBigPlanet 3's and Hot Wheels Unleashed's DLCs as well, but that's not an issue, I was going to do that anyway.

I'm going to go with no for Resi 8. It looks yellow to me when I zoom in and doesn't pass 5 second rule.

No for this game (Unturned). The outlines look brown to me and the trophy itself goes more towards yellow.

No on Apotheon, but the rest are good (you can even use LittleBigPlanet 3 for pink if you want "variety). Just to clarify you don't need to do 100% of the DLC for the game to count. Just need the platinum.

Yeah I'm going to go with no on Secret of Mana just because I do have to zoom in with what you are talking about. I agree it is there but I'm going to defer to the zoom in rule to rule it out, but the rest of your games are good.

Firewatch, The Journey Down Chapter 1 and Chapter 3 works.

Thanks! I'll add Firewatch and JD Chapters 1 & 3 to my list, but yeah I'll be playing Chapter 2 of course, as it's part of the trilogy, even if it doesn't count. Thanks for the input.
