Great game which I finished on PC in the past but I'm slowly getting all my old games I've 100%'d on PC to my ps4 trophy list.

Jack the Ripper has some glitchy/buggy issues but is overall a fun DLC for it's price.

Managed to get in the top 10 fastest 100% achievers at #8

A really great game, it has a great art style, wonderful music and a fantastic level design with a lot of shortcuts to discover. I played it quiet a bit but it never got boring and it was always fun to run the levels. The game is actually quiet doable, the 100% run was easier than expected and if the game didn´t crashed two times i would have gotten it on my second try.

 

The really hard and frustrating part for me was the "Cautious" trophy. There are so many places that are pure luck, if the camera is a bit off or in a strange angle you could miss jumps you already did 100 times without a problem. So with that in mind i think the difficulty is a good 8. If the controls were a bit better with edge guard off i would have given the game a 9 in enjoyment.

One More Dungeon (PS Vita)

What does the game say? Loading-ding-ding-ding-di-ding-di-ding....

 

A game so 8-bit that it hurts.

One More Dungeon is a first person dungeon crawler with randomly generated levels. Another crawler for me, after Awakened Fate Ultimatum.

Except this is very much different from that 'JRPG'. No story (that I know of), no cut scenes. Just melee, magic and simple graphics 

Eight levels of trial and error, as you die fast and your weapons fill a good chunk of your screen of view. Carefully, then, and you'll get there eventually.

But, alas, you have to do it two more times, with handicaps on. Once with even worse view and once with limited hearts. Oh the joy of blur 

Even though a tad annoyed by not seeing much and  constantly dying, I did enjoy the fact that every run is different and loot varies as such.

One More Dungeon is a nice change of pace for someone looking outside of their comfort zone. And it's nice to see this genre still somewhat breathes

Decided to grab this of the Japanese store seeing as its on sale for 999yen (£8.99).

 

If you are boosting the few more annoying trophies with a friend like organ donor and floor 15 if it doesn't pop straight away you'll be done in no time as most of the trophies auto pop and its very nice to see all those silver and gold rain down!

 

Really enjoyed this first time around back when it was free on plus.

This game is more or less a budget Diablo clone but is worth the playthrough. Because they don't make Diablo for the Vita.?

 

I put the difficulty at 5 because I completed the Legendary playthrough as a Mage but you can make your life significantly easier by using the Rogue. Their is no equality amongst this game's character types. The Rogue is ridiculously overpowered, the Warrior is overpowered and the Mage can get powerful but it will take some time and patience.

 

All in all this game is a competent dungeon crawler and has one significant advantage over Diablo: since it is a Vita game you can play it pretty much anywhere.

I'm guilty of using the debug on Jak 2's precursor orbs at the end of the game. It was that or using the orb glitch for farming far as I care lol. Both are easy games/plats.

I had been waiting months since they announced this game for it to come out. This game i have  a lot of love for the hand drawn art style and gameplay is just great to look at and play. It feels right at home with the Vita probably the second or third game i have played that utilises the PS Vita's exclusive features. Which was nice. Anybody that owns a Vita must pick this up it is less than £10!! I personally still have the Play-Asia physical copy still on preorder as i love this game. 

 

Overall brilliant quirky fun experience with about 10 hours to get the platinum if you really pay attention to your surrounding for the collectables. 

Best of all this is the first time in me being on the leaderboards for top 10 to complete it. Sitting at No. 6

 

If you love your Vita buy this game.

Same happened to me in Monster Hunter World, I was #472 to get platinum but was later pushed to #630 something. I guess it's new people who use Psnprofiles to start tracking their user (who wasn't being tracked) and got platinum before you, so PSNP puts them above you

I complained about this game, but in truth, I enjoyed it quite a bit. The puzzles in 999 were too simplistic, but they got a lot better in VLR. I'm hoping for a lower price on Zero Time Dilemma (maybe in the Golden Week sale?).

I grew up on Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island and the like so to get another game in that mould was amazing. Loved how the fans who backed the game financially were put into it as part of getting a couple of trophies.

 

 

  #235/6/7 - League Of Evil (EU PS4 + Vita, NA PS4)

 

This was a fun, slightly difficult platformer that's worth the cheap price (especially as it's cross-buy). Surprisingly, I found the game ran better on the Vita and I'd recommend that version over the PS4. I know it won't last long but I currently hold the fastest time on the EU Vita and NA PS4 versions.

Played it on Steam years ago, wasn't fussed. Gave it another chance on PS4, wasn't fussed. It's not a bad game so I don't really know what my problem is with it, just feels a bit bland and uneventful. The story is also completely forgettable. Are the other two any better?

Out of all the Artifex Mundi storylines, Engimatis has never been one of my favourites.

Unfortunately, the third game (and hopefully the last) did nothing to change my mind.

The platinum was easy to obtain and the puzzles were fun, but I found the story really boring.

After playing the original Deponia game, I figured I'd give this one a shot.

It's enjoyable enough, but tries too hard to be funny.

It aspires to be like the Monkey Island franchise too much, but Rufus has nothing on Guybrush.

Easy platinum, decent enough game. If you enjoyed the first one, then give this one a whirl.

Not the biggest superhero fan, but this was alright. Would play S2.

 

#82- Amnesia: Memories

Just an ok otome game to me, didn't really have any favorites. But yay for reducing the PS+ backlog.

 

#83- Virginia

Thought this was pretty cool and the music was great (really like the bar music esp).

 

#84- The Bunker

Pretty ok cinematic game, liked the object and location details.

 

#85- Gravity Rush Remastered

First played this on my sister's Vita years ago and I really liked it, but I wasn't that good with all the gravity controls. Playing it this year on the PS4 finally brought back that charming nostalgia and I definitely prefer this game on a console. Didn't struggle that much with gravity this time around and I finally did all those trials.

 

#86- Jazzpunk

Quirky is an understatement, lel. Pretty entertaining and I probably didn't get all the references, but that's ok. It doesn't overstay its welcome on play length and that's fine.

 

#87- Psycho Pass: Mandatory Happiness

Omgggg, fell asleep so much when playing this. Never saw the anime, so I don't know if I would have liked this game better, but the story was just mildly interesting at best. And like always, grinding for those points just to buy useless CGs and sound bites is pointless. Never change, VNs.

 

#88- God of War

Just got this a couple days ago. Never played this series until recently, so I don't have any die hard devotion to it compared to other people. When playing, it just made me think of DMC -Greek Style-. I'll have to play the other games to see if I'll like this more as it's just okay in my eyes. And for the biggest pain in my ass, Challenge of the Gods #10. That one alone almost took me 4 gd hours to do. ?

I am really disappointed with this title especially seeing as South Park The Stick Of Truth is one of my favorite games I have played.

 

South Park The Fractured But Whole lacked humor (in my opinion) and the story fell short in every way possible. I did not find the story one bit interesting.

 

As for the new and improved combat system, well it was just terrible. I truly had an awful experience during combat. Most of the times the combat

felt unfair and other times I felt way to overpowered.

 

So to sum my entire journey up with South Park The Fractured But Whole...I basically just farted around all over the map doing main 

missions, side missions and finding collectibles. A total let down.

Far Cry 5

 We Always Had Faith In You 

 

This is my second experience with Far Cry, the first one I played was Primal and I loved it. This one wasn't any different, at first it took me a while to get used to the gameplay mechanics again, but when I did, I had a blast. I gotta be honest though, the story wasn't that good and the game was a little bit too chaotic at times, but the gameplay was amazing and I had so much fun doing the side missions and activities.  

The Arcade mode is interesting and fun to play also.

God of War III Remastered

I'VE DONE IT!!!!! All 6 God of War games finished before the new one comes out this Friday. My God of War Chronological mission started March 29th with Ascension, and ended today with God of War III. I will rate each game below and also do an overall rating of the series. This is all opinion-based of course.

 

Ascension: 8/10

Chains of Olympus: 7.5/10

God of War 1: 8.5/10

Ghost of Sparta: 10/10

God of War II: 9/10

God of War III: 10/10

Series Overall: 8.83/10

 

God of War is fantastic series of brutality, fluid combat, and expert story-telling. Never once did I feel "burned-out" or bored with this series. Kratos is a bit of an asshole, but still a loveable character. The Gods of Olympus have done him nothing but wrong and he intends to make them pay for those wrong doings. The God of War series is the definition of a console seller and is a must play for everyone. Also, for those who haven't heard: God of War 2018 is now ranked the number one PS4 exclusive game of all time and it's not even out yet!! I guess they're basing it off the sales from the pre-orders, and those sales already top everything apparently. CONSOLE SELLER! Anyways, that's all for now. Not sure what to play next. I may or may not just wait for the new God of War.
