Popular Post ResoluteRock
#3: Fallout 3 I finally did it! So proud of this one. The game took a few hours to finally grow on me, but I ended up really enjoying this game. It definitely started to show it's age towards the end (looking at you, Broken Steel DLC) by way of freezing and crashing. However, I enjoyed the base game and all of the DLC, I'd highly recommend this game's GOTY version to anyone (it's usually around ~$20, which is a steal). Looking forward to playing Fallout 4 sometime in the future! Edited November 9, 2018 by ResoluteRock

Popular Post cr1s
Man, it's been a while since I posted in here. I've obtained a few platinums since my last update: #385 & 386 - Drawn to Death (regular and JP version respectively) I talked to Amy. For like an hour. Today was a good day. Earn all other trophies in the game. Nothing to say about this one other than: "Damn you, @DamagingRob!" *shakes fist* #387 - Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (PS4) Achieve All Trophies Unlock All Trophies Well, I'm glad I bought this game at the beginning of this year because it was delisted a few months ago and was never released physically for consoles. Oh, and the fact that I actually found a boosting partner for it after all this time is a miracle in itself. But yeah, it's nice to finally have this platinum for sure. #388 - Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD (PS3) Platamire Munch Unlock all other Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD trophies. I'll post my full thoughts on this game when I platinum the Vita version (depending on when the "I Regrow Nothing" trophy will stop glitching on me - that glitch seems to be much more severe here. At least it didn't glitch for me in the PS3 version). But in short, I actually enjoyed it and - despite its technical hurdles - think it's a great addition to the Oddworld series. #389 - Saints Row IV (AU PS4) Kingpin Unlock all Trophies in Saints Row IV: Re-elected. Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Man, this game never gets old. It's my third time playing it and is still as fun as I remember it. You play as The Boss, who has just been elected POTUS when aliens decide to crash his party and invade Earth, while also capturing many of the other Saints. The Boss now faces the daunting task of freeing his friends, defeating the alien leader, and taking back Steelport from his grasp for queen and country- oh wait, wrong country. But yeah, this is just a sample of this game's wildness. This game ramps up the over-the-top craziness the Saints Row series is known for while also staying true to its roots as a Saints Row game. It relies on parodying other games, franchises, and films (such as Mass Effect, Streets of Rage, Space Invaders, Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, Prototype, They Live (with Roddy Piper even making a cameo appearance in this game!), the Saints Row series itself, and countless others) as a form of humor, but still retains the traditional Saints Row humor. And it's all in a good way, thankfully. Gameplay-wise, it's more of the same compared to its predecessor. You have side quests (which range from killing some aliens to climbing up towers) that cover almost the entire map, a thousand collectibles to get (literally), Professor Genki (because what's a Saints Row game without Genki?), and other mayhem-inducing activities. You gain access to superpowers and elemental powers by defeating and consuming some Wardens, and you can upgrade them using Data Clusters (the collectibles). Challenges are back and plentiful once again, though they're not time-consuming. It's definitely a lot of fun, especially with the addition of powers. There are also 2 pieces of DLC (included in the PS4 version of the game). One of these is Enter the Dominatrix DLC (which was originally scheduled to be released as standalone DLC for Saints Row: The Third), while the other has you saving Christmas from an evil Santa Claus. So yeah, even more craziness to be had there! *cue wild licking*The platinum/100% isn't hard as you can play on the easiest difficulty and still get all the trophies, which mostly involve completing the main story, side quests, and challenges. The challenges include getting kills with certain weapons, using your powers on enemies, getting a Gold Medal in all of the activities, and some miscellaneous tasks. Nothing hard there either, even the Gold Medals as they're pretty easy.Final Verdict: Do you like "mindless fun"? Do you like blowing stuff up? Do you like kicking alien ass*? Do you like causing mayhem in a big world that's filled with such tasks? If your answer to all of these questions is "yes", then Saints Row IV is the perfect game for you to play (and replay, and replay, and replay - unless you don't like stacking, that is). Make sure you also check out the other Saints Row games if you haven't done so yet!*Bubble gum included for your chewing pleasure. Popular Post GraniteSnake
Decided to finally try out PlayStation Now this week as I knew I'd have a lot of time off. It's been interesting to say the least.. I'm halfway through my trial and have managed to pick up 5 platinum's so far. #69: Heavy Fire Afghanistan By far the worst game I've played during the PlayStation 3/4 era. Terrible dialog, terrible gameplay, terrible graphics, just plain terrible. Really easy platinum and that's about all this game has to offer. #70: The Wolf Among Us Can't believe I've never even heard of this game before trying it out. My first telltale game and it did not disappoint. Absolutely loved the main character, Bigby, and the plot itself was really interesting. The game is also accompanied by an amazing soundtrack that was really suited to the game. My GOTY for 2018! #71: Seasons After Fall A very chilled out game that I enjoyed from start to finish. The lack of direction proved frustrating at times, and some of the later puzzles were actually quite difficult, but overall it was a nice experience. Loved the artistic style of this game as well. Must really try out some more of these 'metroidvania-lite' style games. #72: N.E.R.O.: Nothing Ever Remains Obscure Really short and straightforward game. I struggled to understand what was actually going on throughout the game, but I found a plot summary of the game afterwards that summed up the game nicely. The plot itself is actually really dark. Still I enjoyed the 2-3 hours I spent on the game. #73: Eventide: Slavic Fable My first ever point and click adventure game. Not really sure if this genre is for me. I'm not very good at piecing things together. Followed a walkthrough from start to finish and it seemed to me like there was a whole lot going on. A lot of back and forth and a lot of the puzzles were quite intuitive.
Popular Post SmilexBomb
Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom One True King Awarded for achieving 100% completion. Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 70 hours Loved the first one so was super eager to play this. Game-play is polished and fun, and I'm pretty happy that there wasn't any crazy amount of grinding in comparison to the first. I think it's a great game and a big improvement in many areas, though I still think the first had far better story and writing.
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #150 Spec Ops: The Line Legion of Merit Unlock all Trophies. Feels good. Never thought I'd go back to this to plat it, I remember having a hard time on normal... lol~ but that's how things go for me. Normal is always my worst play-through of a TPS. After that I get to know a game and mechanics and it gets easier after. Still had problems on FUBAR obviously, suicidal wasn't too bad even go through that Chapter 6 part after the second try then... but had a hell of a time on FUBAR. I still love this game, but they definitely needed to polish up a few of the mechanics. Sometimes you'll be totally in cover and take hits anyway. Even though visually there's no reason you should be taking damage. And the way you go into cover is cumbersome I found. Particularly compared to something like Uncharted. It would've been nice if instead of having your AI teammates bum rush enemies after giving them orders they'd simply provide suppressive fire. I mean if they wanted to keep things simple and not give a bunch of commands, that would've been way better. Plus, it would've ensured Lugo actually sniped from where he was rather than running off for no reason. :/ "Here, let me get CLOSER to snipe this guy... when five seconds ago I sniped from where I am..." okay... Would've been nice to have individual commands too to make sure you snipe or throw a grenade as needed. Rather than it being situational (or random at times). Overall though, it's aged pretty damn well. Graphics look awesome as far as the environments go, character models are a bit 'eh' now, but they aren't too bad considering. I think level design is kind of hit and miss, any part of the game where you're pretty much stuck in one spot and the AI is allowed to throw grenades is just bullshit to me. Not necessarily a level design issue, but just ridiculous. Since there are moments where I swear the enemies have no ability to throw grenades since they never do. Then other situations where you'd definitely prefer that not to happen, like being stuck by railing and that's it... but they can, and often do. Would've also been nice if when you revived somebody you remained hunched down automatically. You can come out of it like that if you start that way, but it should have always put you down. The amount of times I died reviving a teammate behind cover because I stood straight back up after is unreal. It was awesome that the AI could revive each other though. I just wish their pathfinding was a bit smarter. Sometimes I noticed they'd be right next to each other, but instead of just reviving behind the cover, they will run in front and around to the other side to do it. A side with no more cover and they'll die. Quite dumb. But the AI was invaluable for me even despite the problems with it. It's kind of random on when it's super useful and when it's super detrimental. Sometimes they'll move out of the way as you move by them in cover, but other times (particularly with grenades around) they seem to stick there and ensure you get blown up. lol Speaking of grenades, sometimes you'd be out of range (white grenade icon) and still die. Which was some bullshit. I'm sure most know about the story, so I'll just say I still loved it on my suicidal playthrough I decided to watch all the cutscenes again. What a great game. A solid enough TPS, but wrapped in a stellar story. Music is great too. Happy to have played through again, and finally gotten the platinum. And to have it as a milestone. Sorry Moss. edit; Oh yeah, a neat coincidence. I started the game on a 9th over 5 years ago. And I finished it on a 9th as well! Omelette Paradise
#245 Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders Another enjoyable point & click adventure from Artifex Mundi. The scenes in this game were gorgeous to look at with the game being set in Persia and it follows a similar structure to their other games. One playthrough for the Platinum with hidden object puzzles and mini games to solve, rune battles, plus a set of collectables to pick up.
Popular Post ex10097
Platinum #75 Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax All Clear! You finished Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax.Thank you for playing! Not a very difficult platinum, just a bit grindy. Once I got all other trophies out of the way, the only thing left was the insane 10,000,000 damage one. A character only has 10,000 health per round lol. But finishing everyone's story and arcade modes, plus score, time and survival modes along with VS and online grinding will net you very close since winning and losing don't matter, only damage you do to opponent's lifebar. I just used Selvaria, played 1 round matches and moment fight began, rushed to my opponent and when they pummelled me to the floor, activated her self-destruct to instantly get 10,000 damage regardless of win/lose each round. This lets me win matches in like 5 seconds and just kept repeating that for a while, and got last trophy in less than an hour's time! SUICIDE BOMBING is the way to play! (The 10Mil damage trophy even has Selvaria's pic on it) Platinum #76 Complete (Atelier Rorona Plus) Obtained after getting all other trophies. I played this game a long time ago. Played my first run completely blind and somehow got all other character endings besides Sterk and Cordelia. Both Demon and Iron Giant completed wrecked me though and in Overtime dungeons, fighting mobs felt like boss battles lol. Decided to gave up on it and have Hom farm cash, while I focused on getting equipment through vouchers and making the best decorations to help me out in New Game+. Then in second run, had a really easy time thanks to OP equip and decor, giving me plenty of time to work on everything. In first run I accidentally used up all my seeds so didn't realize how valuable they were (Maximize, Enhance and Professional 120 quality items harvested every 10 days!). Once I got every ending requirement in Assignment 11, I saved there and took a break but only ended up coming back to it now. Making the best pre-overtime weapons and equips, I kept messing up even when following a step-by-step guide, then I realized I completely forgot about adding in some cost trait items lol. Kept the pure oils (for ingots) and magic paints (for cloths) registered so that on Overtime could use Halmoliums and Velvetis to make everyone's Ultimate Pre-Overtime gear. With Totori and Meruru challenged Abyssal Tower 1st floor and won against boss and mobs! But 2nd floor boss wiped me out so went back to make some decent healing items. Made Elixirs with Pepped up, Rank Special, Spirtiflower Energy, Clever Heal and Professional, also some pinwheels, pocket watches and warrior masks, plus Meteors with Soul Steal, Lonely Slayer L, Demolisher, Rank Special and Professional traits. After wholesaling them and buying like 50 Elixirs I challenged Machina Domain to get Infinity recipe, but had such an easy time that I went and challenged Demon Lord lol. Wasn't really expecting to beat him, but after a very long fight actually won! Then made Infinity Meteor and it completely broke the game. I mean having fainted characters that will get automatically revived with full HP on their turn, having automatic Elixirs that will restore HP, MP and remove ailments the moment someone's health goes below 50%, using pinwheels to knock enemy turn back then spamming Infinity Meteors with everyone, all bosses go down so easily, even that supposedly hardest boss called Ocean Kaizer. I thought the hardest boss would be the last remaining superboss so when ancient dragon went down without even managing to get a turn, all I can say is lol, why is final boss so disappointing? Poor bosses must be crying having to face me in battle. So yeah you don't even need to go out of your way to make those super OP stuff with essences and Veteran skills. Just have best pre-overtime gear, then equip everyone with pocketwatches with good traits and one more decent accessory, then spam Elixirs and Infinity Meteors like no tomorrow and game is easy AF. Maybe Demon Lord boss might require a slightly different strategy, but could still beat him by using regular meteors and occasionally using a different bomb to reset his annoying damage reduction ability, while blocking with remaining characters to ensure that Rorona can attack/use skill, has boosted stats from Soulsteal and doesn't get heavily debuffed. Lordguwa
platinum #310 Iron Crypticle (ps4) completed in 1 day and 5 hours platinum rarity 23.42% uncommon platinum name: Iron Master game difficulty: 4/10 (gotta have a second controller or the difficulty will be 9/10, only a true gaming god could take it down with one credit). game was tough as nails no joke if don't have a second controller. at the end on the final boss i had 13 fists used them all on the final boss and made it to phase 3 then rushed to get to the weapons to knock the HP to zero, a boss game has appeared and the next one will be Zero Escape: Zero TIme Dillema (vita) this one will take slightly over 30 hours anyway so it gets picked. Desmuria
#124 - Noir Chronicles: City of Crime Platinum Unlock every Trophy. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Another great offering from Artifex Mundi. It's nice to see they're releasing some of their other titles for PS4. Noir Chronicles was actually rather good and the puzzles aren't too frustrating (except the 'dodge the guards' one - the controls are awful!) The voice acting was terrible, especially by the guy who voiced Alfred Fox (the main protagonist). Only one playthrough required (as long as you play on Expert mode) and you don't need to play the extra episode to get the platinum. If you've never played an Artifex Mundi game, I would recommend starting with Nightmares from the Deep. Popular Post Rodow_
#50 - Shenmue (PS4) Enjoyment : 9/10 Difficulty : 3/10 Well... My #50 was originally planned to be Spyro 3 but they delayed it until 13th november (Spyro will be my 73,74 and 75 instead). I never played this game before this release. I regret... It's a great game, but I think it was better at his first release date. It's an old game, and not a remaster juste a "HD collection" so it feels old when you played it. But I understand why it was like a "masterpiece" twenty years ago. The story is cool, the game is really beautiful, you're free to do what you want (it's not that easy to find what you need to continue this game !) A good surprise, I bought it because I've heard a lot of good reviews and I love the style of the game... I really don't regret ^^
Popular Post Bumperklever
#80 Black Mirror (PS4)Every Trophy accomplishedDate Achieved: 10 November 2018Rarity: Common (59-60%)Enjoyment: 6/10 I can be really fast about this game. The game itself plays as a good thriller story, the gameplay is pretty basic but competent for a game like this. But the constant technical issues, tearing, crashing and long loading times gives a really bad experience from a technical point of view. But with only 4-8 hours you can't be in the wrong to try it, especially if you bought it in the HB playstation bundle.
Popular Post Rodow_
I bought a lot of game when there's were promotions on store, and honestly, only for the platinum lol. Let's go : #51 - Day of the Tentacle Remastered (PS4) Enjoyment : 7/10 Difficulty : 1/10 Well, it's a good game I think. The story was cool and funny. It was easy with a guide... #52 - InkSplosion (PS4) Enjoyment : 2/10 Difficulty : 1/10 It's... bad... But an almost free and easy platinum... Sometimes it's cool to play games like that, I'm so fed up about farming on some games. #53 - Catlateral Damage (PS4) Enjoyment : 5/10 Difficulty : 2/10 A "cute" game, it feels good to destroy it all as a cat ? But it was so repetitive at the end... Not an unforgettable game, but it was nice to play it. #54 - Claire (VITA) Enjoyment : 4/10 Difficulty : 1/10 I've tried this game a year ago, I was just sooooooooo bad ?? But now there's some guides on the net and it help me so much. Big, big thanks for the guide on PSNProfiles, it's one of the best I ever see ! This game isn't really cool... It's not my style. But it wasn't that bad, I did it again on PS4 after ^^ #55 - Super Destronaut DX (VITA) Enjoyment : 2/10 Difficulty : 1/10 Nothing to say about this game... It's just an easy platinum, again. #56 - Mr. Massagy (PS4) Enjoyment : 5/10 Difficulty : 1/10 It was funny... almost stupid lol Was better than some other easy platinums. #57 - Dying: Reborn (PS4) Enjoyment : 1/10 Difficulty : 1/10 Probably one of the worst game I ever played The story is ... I don't have any word, it's totally bullshit The graphics are probably the only thing I will save about this game #58 - Sound Shapes (PS4) Enjoyment : 2,5/10 Difficulty : 5/10 Bought it on sale last month, 3 possible platinums for 3€... almost 250 trophies... I've take it ! This game is painfull.... I mean, it could be a very cool game but it's only about luck Some levels, I won the first time Some othr levels, I have to do it like one hundred times... But I did it, for PS3 and VITA I will usef the "cross trophies" option, didn't want to play it an other time lol
Popular Post Masamune
Crossover Conquest Earn this trophy by unlocking all other Cross Edge™ trophies. Difficulty: 6.5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Playtime: N/A (3 weeks, 1 day, 19 hours) I don't think I could've picked a better game for my 100th Platinum! This game is a lot like the Agarest series (only it's a cross-over between multiple JRPGs), so those of you who have played them, I'm sure you realize how tedious it is make every weapon in the game to unlock all the Titles. ? Even so, this is still one of my favorite games to date, I find it highly underrated. The plat is actually fairly simple, most of what you have to do is just unlock the True Ending, them make/collect every item in the game. As long as you're following a guide, getting the True End is easy enough (there are a few highly missable thing that can screw you over), making all the weapons is the tedious part... ? I actually followed a checklist this time (so I could do most of the material farming all at once), this took a huge load off the process, saving me hours of backtracking. But the most annoying part about it is that you need to keep saving your game every few items you make because synthesizing items don't have a 100% success rate (probably around 75%), & it's much better to reload your game rather than having to go back & farm more materials. Playing on Hard also helps a ton, since that allows you to unlock the extra 5-3 level, where you can steal many high level weapons from the bosses there that will save a ton of time later on. The game doesn't keep track of your playtime, but I'd guess I'm somewhere around 100 hours for this one. Also, here's a friendly reminder for anyone planning on going for this plat (@Honor_Hand): make very sure to have an extra save before unlocking the final title L.O.X, The Hikikomori trophy for this actually glitched on me & didn't pop... I had to reload my last save & make the last few weapons again for it to work properly (thankfully it did)... that was a bit scary. ? Platinum Trophy Collect all other 34 Trophies for this Trophy. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Playtime: 37:42:00 (1 month, 1 week, 4 days) Screenshot: Spoiler I wasn't expecting much for a free game, but this was actually a pleasant surprise. Not only was it a free game with a plat (no microtransactions needed), but you can actually get a decent amount of playtime out of it too, plus it's fairly fun. Fallout Shelter is one of those time management games where you have to wait for actual time for thing to finish (although you can always mess with the PS4's clock if you don't like waiting ), but it's by no means boring like the other ones I've played. Your base can get attacked by hazards that you need to fight off, there's also quests where you can send your people into a 2-d dungeons of sorts to explore & complete objectives. For a time management game, I didn't have much idle time with it, that playtime I listed is actual gameplay. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you like these kind of games (hey, it's a free plat). Also if you want things to go extra quick, try getting a pet that has the x3 objective ability, that'll make most (if not all) the trophies pop 3 times faster. My time would've been a lot quicker if I would've gotten that early on. ? & just for fun, here's how I had my Vault set up towards the end: Spoiler In the top section I had all my necessity rooms with Lv50 max stats dwellers in them, plus some robots so I wouldn't have to collect anything manually. The bottom section was just all empty barrack/storage rooms, separated by ground so no hazards would spread (that way I can just wait them out rather than sending people to their death).

Popular Post TenebraZero
#24 Exist Archive A Person Obsessed Earn all trophies aside from the Platinum Trophy. Enjoyment 7 Difficult 6 Time to plat 99 hours The title of this platinum it's a perfect example, you have to be very obsessed to pursuit it. This game is so much frustrating. Graphics is ok, music are pretty awesome(thanks again Sakuraba sensei) , the story is meh but the BS it's pretty solid. The game resemble in many way the masterpiece of tri-ace, Valkyrie profile but unfortunately there are a lot of cool down. Before you start the game remember one thing: this game crush. A LOT. and i haven't playied Vita version(bugged as hell) but PS4 version retail. I didn't expected so many crush... During the battle, during the dungeon exploring and during the screen result. You will wanna cry. Some battle , expecially at high level are pretty unfair and not well balanced, at level max(255) some bosses was able to one shot my entire party. Ridicolous. In the end, if you want to start the game be prepared, the road to platinum will be not a walk in the park. Popular Post Karl-Kai
A Realm Restored This game, it's awesome! Online multiplayers aren't really my thing, but FFXIV:ARR seemed so interesting I just had to give it a try --- and I'm glad I did. This game is built in a way that allows the player to have lots of fun alone, so I was able to play it like a single-player game the majority of the time, and when I participated in the team activities, the other players were really nice and some of them went to great lengths to teach others. One such time of supportive friendliness was when I chased after the trophy that asked to clear the Binding Coil; after many failed tries I ended up in a team that wasn't full and pretty much everyone was first-timers so statistically it didn't look too good, but one member of the team was experienced. He became our captain and guided the rest of us and if we failed, he was encouraging us by saying things like "this time it went better, next time we might win!". And win we did, in the end. I think FFXIV:ARR is a complete, satisfying package with fun gameplay and incredibly huge amount of side activities. The amount of things you can do in this game is mind-boggling; it just never ends. I was also surprised at it how much I connected with my player character and the story. There is substance and it feels like your character belongs in the world. Speaking of the world, I think the environments of this game are designed very beautifully, so much so that just wandering around pointlessly is a nice way to pass time. I don't have anything to complain about this game. It's so great I don't mind at all that it is a pay-to-play game even though that means that I can't play it whenever. Actually, I think that because it is a pay-to-play it manages to be so top-notch. My character, an arcanist:
Popular Post madbuk
#284 - Spyro the Dragon This was an amazing remaster. Pretty much every level I had to stop for a moment and take it all it, it's breathtakingly beautiful. The new soundtrack is good too although to be honest it's not much different to the original. I tried switching between music in Cliff Town out of interest (this lets you switch to the original soundtrack unlike Crash) and barely noticed the difference. There are some new collectibles in a few stages for skill points and trophies (not every level though) and they were a lot of fun to try and find, something new for someone like me who has already gotten 120% countless times on this game. The trophy list for this was fantastic. No missables, and all of them are interesting and fun to collect. It's not just a bare-bones "100% the game" trophy list - there's actually only one or two trophies related to doing that. There's a lot of unique requirements like doing a loop around an arch or shooting a mooning Gnorc with a cannon. I wish there was a trophy for getting every skill point, but oh well. I got them all anyway and enjoyed doing so. The trophy list for 2 looks a bit more generic which is a bit sad, haven't really looked too closely at 3's list yet. Honestly there's only one thing that annoyed me in this and I hope they patch it out - L3 is used to bring up your gem/dragon/life count, but it also makes Sparx point towards any gems you're missing. So you have to pause the game to look at your totals unless you want to completely ruin the joy of actually exploring the level for the gems you missed. It's a minor detail but a patch for it would just make the game even better. There was also one bug where a red gem was completely absent in a level until I died, and then it spawned. Probably ran around the level 5 or 6 times looking for it lol, I hope 2 and 3 don't suffer from a glitch like that. I also think this game is begging for a photo mode considering how stunning the environments are. I could see many people losing a few hours moving around the levels with a free camera and just having fun taking photos. I'm not done with this game yet. I plan on doing it again at least twice to fill up the other save slots, after I finish 2 and 3, and I don't doubt that it will be just as amazing a second and third time through. I wish it wasn't so short, but that isn't Toys For Bob's fault. That's just staying true to the original. I hope, if they make a new game, it'll be longer. I also hope they add some DLC realms to this like VV did with Crash. Reviews for this aren't out yet, so some people may still be waiting on their pre-order, but rest assured this is incredibly faithful and you have nothing to worry about. I hope that 2 and 3 are just as fantastic as this was.
