Popular Post RedRodriguez87
#433: Trials of Mana My very first Mana game! All in all, not a bad one. I like a lot of the character and Enemy designs, the gameplay is repetitive but it works. Though of course after my third playthrough I was about ready to be done. #434: Survivor Admin controls and nothing else. Cheap I know, but here it is. #435: Extreme Power Tripin Unfortunate case where a game works well enough to be completed, but not well enough that it doesn't get annoying to do so. I like the idea of different forms and different attack combinations and a unique abilities, but with how tedious and annoying the loading is (especially when you're doing something as simple as pressing the pause menu) it got aggravating really quick.
Popular Post Moridin83
#249 Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising So this is the prequel(maybe?) companion game to the kickstarted spiritual successor to Suikoden. Unlike the main game, this is a 2d hack n' slash. It's not bad, but I hope it doesn't represent the quality of the main game. The running animations are stilted, and the content is very much fetch quest: the game. Combat wasn't very deep, but flowed well enough for the most part. I believe I was at around 20 hours when I hit the plat, and I certainly didn't feel like investing much more in it. I am withholding some judgement to see how it ties in with the main game, but as a standalone product, it's slightly above meh, mainly due to the character interactions being amusing.

Popular Post DrunkenEngineer
Platinum #42 + DLC 100% - Middle Earth: Shadow of War (January 17, 2023) Trophy Statistics The Good Orc personalities have been taken up a notch Crunchy Arkham-style combat Looting and crafting system that stays in it's lane Exceptional graphics and production values The Bad We are still living in an age where we hold "X" to run in a game with analog walking controls The story is better than the first game, but that's not saying a whole lot. Tolkien purists will riot. Middle Earth: Shadow of War is a sequel in the most classic of videogame senses. Every knob and dial present in the first game has been turned up to eleven. More skills, more systems to juggle, more online features, bigger DLCs, more maps. At first it can be pretty overwhelming, but the game does a great job of slowly introducing the new features, and for the most part all of them feel natural. The real meat and potatoes - "fucking with Orcs" - has been preserved and is by far the strongest feature of the game. The Nemesis system really does emergent gameplay well and it would be fun if we saw it in more games. I found the second DLC, The Desolation of Mordor to be a pleasant surprise and an interesting take on the trials we saw in the previous game. From a trophy hunting perspective, this one is much much easier than the first. Probably the most difficult has you killing a Captain with an Olog, riding it buckin' bronco style. I did find the online stats finicky, and spent a rather long time leveling up my Fortress Defense ratings and becoming frustrated when the numbers in the online menu wouldn't match what I was seeing out in the game world. I avoided this for a rather long time as I felt Shadow of Mordor was just the perfect amount of schlock and any more layers to it would be unwelcome. I'm glad I was wrong!

Popular Post Thrillhelm
#2773 and #2774 Syphon Filter 3 (Both versions) Shoutout to @B-I-G-DEVIL for testing if the cheat codes disable trophies or not (spoiler: they don't) and to @IBadDriverI for making a video about it. Basically if you have PS Plus and access to the PS1 Classic collection you can get these two platinum trophies for free with minimal effort in about ten to fifteen minutes. Game itself aged poorly from what I've seen and can be done legit in about 10 to 12 hours.

Popular Post Bahraini_carguy
Platinum #46 Watch Dogs (PS3 Stack) The PS3 version suffers from pop ins and slight performance drop but otherwise, the actual game is alright. A lot of the side content are a bit on the repetitive or tedious side but the main game-play is decent by my low standards. Surprisingly, i can still find other players to hack/tail rather easily (In the main game that is). Bad Blood's DLC is fine as well but $15 ($18 on Bahraini's PSN store) is 5-8 dollars too much for something you only gonna touch once. Popular Post Thrillhelm
#2276 Whew, let's hope a second post on the same day in this thread doesn't count as spam (spoiler: it doesn't). Anyways Jitsu Squad from the small new Tanuki Creative Studio is a kickstarter-funded cartoonish sidescroll brawler for up to 4 players, and definetly a passion project. You get hand-drawn animations and colorful visuals in this not-so-serious but over-the-top brawler where you control one of four anthropomorphic...ish characters through 8 levels to defeat some demonic bad guy and his henchmen. The rock soundtrack adds to the 90s Saturday morning cartoon vibe you get here. Gameplay may not be as deep as lets say TMNT Shredder's revenge but still you get a variety of moves and combos, and enemies where you actually need those abilities in order to do some damage. Jitsu Squad also has a ton of references and nods to other games and movies, e.g. Bruce Lee's fight versus Kareem Abdul Jabbar or Wolverine's Berserker Barrage from the Marvel vs Capcom series. Raccoon character Hero strongly resembles Haohmaru not only in hairstyle but in combat-style as well. Also there's cameos like Yooka-Laylee (there's a trophy tied to them) and Maximilian Dood and his now-deceased dog (RIP), and you can mimick the EVO moment 37 between Daigo and Justin Long - with a raptor as Chun Li. The 8 level are not ground-breaking new, such as a pirate stage, an ice stage or a horror castle, but each got its own type of enemies mixed with the omni-present Emaki Ninjas (who got a purpose as they drop the scrolls you need to learn new moves). For 30 Euros I got four playthroughs and about ten hours of gaming until the platinum, as you need to beat the game with all four-characters. The platinum is straight-forward, with the only missable trophy being the one where you need to turn a boss into a chicken (play as Jazz Amun the frog, pick up a chicken stick as secondary weapon, then keep it and use it on the boss as the killing blow). I enjoyed the game very much and had a blast, all four characters have a different move set and added something new to each playthrough. I doubt many people will play this, but this game would be great for PS Plus and definetly deserves the love. A passion project and great entrance by this little studio. Popular Post Akechi_Lokii
Platinum number #33: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes Of Heaven Overall: 7/10 As a big Jojo fan this game was quite enjoyable, it has a solid gameplay like the dragonball xenoverse games, but what I was really surprised on was the story, it has some good plot twists and it's so good to see all the characters interacting with each other even though it's not canon it's still really good. Congrats on 15k trophies that’s huge! And Omno was a really beautiful little game. I saw it in the Extra games for this month and it caught my eye immediately as it looked sort of in the same vein as Journey and those types of relaxing games. Well worth checking out while it’s free. ?
Popular Post Viscera1900
#349 - The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (PS5) The Limits of the Possible "Collect all trophies." This is my 3rd time completing The Witcher 3's trophy list. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remains one of my top favorite games of all time. Being almost 8 years old game; it is still visually very gorgeous looking game. There were lots of moments when I just stopped my current activity and just looked around. Being able to play this on 60 fps is also a treat; it runs smoothly most of times and loading times are really fast. There were times when my game just froze and I was forced to reset my game, and then there were some random fps drops, but other than those issues I had another wonderful gaming experience with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Now I'm really looking forward to The Witcher 1 remake, since I've never played it. This time around I actually used my PS4 version's save data to unlock most of misc trophies + difficulty trophies and thanks to that I had much easier time to complete PS5 version's trophy list. I was able to enjoy the main story + side stories more thanks to that. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 2/10 100% completion time: 106 hours / 1 month, 1 week, 6 hours (PSNP)

Popular Post Charizarzar
#173 Riders Republic King of the hill Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Even though it's lacking the challenge of its winter sports predecessor, Steep, and is on the grindier side (expect up to 50 hours of play), Riders Republic is still a great follow-up, featuring even more sports (different types of bikes, while also bringing back the previous sports). They're both quite under-the-radar Ubisoft titles (Steep in particular is criminally underrated), but compared to the quietness of Steep, Riders did take some getting used to at first. I'd recommend turning your dialogue volume way down unless you're okay with loud characters enthusiastically referring to you as "homeslice" and getting pumped about every single thing you do, even if you just faceplanted into a rock (which I did many, many times - here are my stats compared to my friend's): Once you're past that side of it though and are released into free roam, it becomes a whole lot better. Slightly disappointed with the lack of map variety, but the best aspect by far was the 60+ player mass race mode which can get absolutely wild. Had a lot of fun playing through this with @Vanqishd, and a huge thank you to him for buying it for me because I was taking so long to get started with it. Popular Post Jermster_91
#116 The Quarry (PS5) For those that have played Until Dawn, this game will feel familiar to you. What you have are a group of camp counselors that stay an extra night a Camp Hatchett Quarry who probably wish that they hadn't. For those going for the Platinum, the gameplay can feel repetitive at times, especially when you have to have pretty much the same conversations over and over again. For those that do decided to play this and go for the Platinum, I would recommend playing on the PS4 version so you can make more than one backup save because otherwise you are limited to the Cloud save if you are playing on the PS5. My only gripe with the game are the water effects such as when a character jumps in. Might not bother others but for me, it did.
