Popular Post mangio_tanto
THE KING OF FIGHTERS - The King Of Fighters XIV That was 1 week ago, but it's my most recent...and after KOFXV plat. I love SNK. Good to see there the Turtle Herm...I mean Tung from Fatal Fury back in action, plus other new characters I didn't know about. Maybe it's just me, but I have found trials even easier than KOFXV. Online trophies a grindfest, especially Team Vs (100 fights and 6 players needed) so I take this chance to thank @youcantseemehere for his dedicated group of players. Liked the extra, especially the gallery, with posters and illustrations from all KOF episodes.
Popular Post SirDave1988
#187 + 100% Street Fighter 6 (PS5) A Quest for Strength Fulfilled After countless battles and considerable struggle, you've arrived. Is this the end of your quest for strength? The answer...lies within. This one means a lot to me, as Street Fighter IV way back in 2009 not only got me into the Street Fighter franchise as a whole, but, I believe it was the very first game I ever earned trophies in, a completely alien concept to me at that time. So, to finally earn a Street Fighter platinum, and in a numbered entry no less, is definitely a milestone I'm happy to finally achieve. Like I said, Street Fighter IV got me properly into the Street Fighter franchise, and is absolutely one of my favourite games of all time. When Street Fighter V came out, I was understandably very excited in the build-up, but for some reason, that game just didn't click with me and I'm not sure why (I'll have to go back to it after this to see if my opinion has changed on it at all). Despite this, I was still very excited for Street Fighter VI, and I can thankfully say, it is a BIG return to form, and then some. This is probably the most feature rich fighting game I've ever played, which is great, but that doesn't mean much if the core gameplay mechanics are lacking. Thankfully, this is one of the strongest aspects of the game. What I really like about the mechanics of the 6th entry is that there are so many tools available to the player that it makes each character feel viable and usable if you put enough time into them. Speaking of the characters, Capcom have done a great job in making each character feel unique, giving them tons of unique moves each and really doing a good job in showcasing all their unique personalities. The graphics, sound and production values are also great and fit the vibe and aesthetic of the game very well. In terms of trophy difficulty, this is definitely the easiest numbered entry to complete, with one notable exception, the trophy to get 10 wins in a tournament. Actually getting the wins isn't so bad, as it is essentially just like playing any other Battle Hub/Ranked/Casual or Extreme Battle modes. What makes it so tough is the infrequency in which the tournaments are held. At best, there are only 3 different times of the day they are held, and sometimes, there can be several days between any tournaments being held at all, making getting the wins far more stressful than they need to be as it really puts the pressure on getting the wins while you can before, oh I don't know, real life gets in the way. In summary though, this is right up there with SF4 as my favourite entry in the series, and unlike many other platinums, I will continue to go back to this game and check out all the new characters and stages and possibly other things, like new modes, are added. And of course, if new trophies are added, I'll need to fix it back up to the 100% Date Completed - 15th June 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 7/10 My Game Rating - 10/10 Hardest Trophy - Dominating Like A Ninja

I played it a lot on PS2, got the plat on PS3 and now on PS5, and soon on PS4 too. This first reboot of the series is so sweet and creative. I wish the next game would be inspired by it, with Lara traveling around the world, flashy action, badass lines and huge replay value. Now we just have to wait for them to add Tomb Raider: Anniversary and, who knows, The Angel of Darkness. Fingers crossed!

Went back to Gravity Rush on the vita as i got the urge to replay and had it sitting unfinished on there since 2014, then i figured i had the muscle memory from doing it on vita might as well finish up the PS4 version. Then i played SW The Clone wars on PS5 as i was interested in it since i loved Battlefront 2, it's pretty good, definitely feels like a prototype Battlefront. Since i did the ps5 stack in a day i figured i could breeze through the PS4 stack pretty easily, there's quite a bit you can skip as long as you just run through the combat on some levels, and skip cutscenes, i'm sure someone could do it faster than I did, but i'm sitting at the fastest achiever across both stacks with a time of 2 hours 40 minutes Now i'm still cranking away at FF7 Rebirth, almost done with the game then its time for cleanup. And i'm replaying Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus as I haven't played it in 10 years at this point Edited June 16 by DEI2EK

Popular Post serrated-banner9
#28 Cat Quest Rarity: 73.09% (Common) Fun: 8/10 Time: 3 weeks and 6 days This was a pleasant suprise, I had heard good things about Cat Quest but i wasn't expecting to like it as much as i did but I have to say it was quite enjoyable little game. From the combat to the witty dialouge I enjoyed most of the game. Some of the quests were a bit boring and the end game grind is a bit annoying but overall, I would recommend that people pick this up if you want something easy to do. #29 Zero Zero Zero Zero Rarity: 84.99% (Common) Fun: 8/10 Time: 47 minutes, 44 seconds Cool little single screen platformer featuring somewhat hard but fair levels with tight controls. Really enjoyed this, the level design is good as it makes it hard but not unforgiving and gives you a satification feeling when you finally complete that pesky level you struggled on. Would recommended unless you hate rata plats.

Popular Post Trancexistence
#94 - F1 Manager 23 I enjoyed this game again, as I did with the 2022 edition. This one felt like an improvement overall, not a huge amount of innovation but there were a few things added that I liked. The platinum can be as easy or as difficult as you want it to be depending on which team is chosen. If playing as Red Bull for example, you can get almost all of the trophies in one career mode season and it's very easy to stay at the front of the field across the entire season as long as you keep on top of upgrades. I ended up completing a clean sweep of victories with Verstappen winning 17 of the 23 races and Perez winning the other 6. On the other end of the scale, if you choose to manage Williams, Alfa Romeo or Haas, then you're looking at at least 2 or 3 seasons to get all of the career related trophies. The only trophy that can't be obtained in career mode is Time-Line Tweaker for earning a challenge scenario trophy. This mode is a great addition to the game that basically allows you to rewrite the events of any race that took place on the 2023 calendar. I happily switched to my favourite driver Lewis Hamilton at the Singapore GP for this one and it felt like a great way to finish off the platinum trophy. I'll definitely be picking up the 2024 edition as I'm enjoying these games. I never did play this originally on the Playstation, however, I did play this on the Nintendo 64 back in the day, although back then, I never got anywhere close to finishing it. The game took me 4-5 hours to complete and is a 2 out of 10, especially with the rewind function. The camera controls aren't the best but otherwise a great game to play. Popular Post SirDave1988
#188 MediEvil (PS1 Classic) (PS4) Savior of Gallowmere Unlock all trophies in MediEvil. I never thought that back in 1998 when I played this on the original PS1 (I still own the same physical copy as well) that I would be replaying it again on a PlayStation console 4 generations later and earning a Platinum trophy in it. Yet, here I am. The original MediEvil is one of my favourite childhood games. Now having played all 3 versions of the original (PS1, PSP remake and the PS4 remake of 2019), it is still my favourite as it, to me, has the best personality and atmosphere overall. I think for me, the voice acting in this version really amps up the enjoyment factor and brings back so much nostalgia. The soundtrack as well is brilliant and fits the atmosphere perfectly. It is still fun to play 26 years later, however it is not a perfect game. The camera for me was the main thing to combat it working against you, that aspect very much shows this game's age. It is also quite short and the graphics obviously haven't aged well, but both those are products of it's time. I would say anyone who has PS Plus Premium and has not played this before, I would suggest giving it a try, see how things used to be back in the day. One word of advice for the platinum, don't use up all the lightning before the end like I did 😂 Date Completed - 17th June 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 3/10 My Game Rating - 7/10 Hardest Trophy - Master Dan-At-Arms
Popular Post alexandra-jane09
# 97 Had great fun, even though some areas a seriously intense and rage inducing, its a pity that Lorne decided to ditch Just Add Water as I think they would have done an excellent job of doing a remake of this game. I still have SoulStorm on the backlog at the moment, but it is not a patch on this classic and I am glad that you only need to rescue 150 Muds for the Platinum and not all 300.
Popular Post Dauersack
Ghost Of Tsushima #81: Living Legend Ghost of Tsushima is a game about identity, revenge, adapting, sacrifice, about how people who keep talking about honor often do not even understand the concept, and about following, be it the bugs, the birds, the foxes, the wind, the butterflies, the blood, the tracks or the bs code of "honor" the main character was brainwashed with as a child. Ghost of Tsushima is an amazing game that gets most things right. You play as Jin Sakai, the most blank slate protagonist ever, unlikelable, bland, hypocritical, perpetually lost, devoid of character, filled to the brim with the dumbass interpretation of the Bushido this game decided to use, an interpretation that turns the dangerous and cunning samurai class of Japanese history into a bunch of simpletons without a strategic bone in their bodies, barely more likelable than the mongols, who are basically presented as subhuman animals, fittingly referred to as "mongol dogs" by various characters. So what do you do in this game and why is the character being an unlikeable dumbass a good thing? Because he merely starts out this way, but he grows, a lot. Modern open world games centered around an actual character not getting character growth right for the protagonist is one of my most common points of contention with them, this game does character growth really well however. I want growth in at least 2 categories if I am supposed to consider such a game a success, personality and gameplay. Personality means that your character is not still the same he was when beginning the journey, he thinks differently, he adapted and therefore acts differently, he is stronger and better after learning from past mistakes, which is the case here. Gameplay means that the growth is visibly reflected too, be it with more advanced effects, skills, or the same actions suddenly being performed faster and or looking more professional. This game manages to excel in a third category that I rarely see these days, how the world around you reacts to you. It is always nice to see weak enemies that used to fight you with reckless abandon suddenly being more likely to flee or recognize that they'd have no chance against a known legend, or the random npcs seeing who you are and giving you different names. In the first part of the game you mainly act like a samurai, you do the assassins creed style sneaking and ambushing too, but you are not really encouraged to do it outside of a few mandatory story moments, as these stealth kills are slow and clumsy, sneaking is hard, but fighting openly is easy as most enemies are weak bandits or trash tier mongols with barely any armor on, you also do not have most of the tools you can use later. You get to feel like a real samurai, challenging enemies to duels, getting to preach about your code, saving peasants, being merciful, life is easy, and the combat system with the stances and how nice everything comes together is a lot of fun, both in the open world as well as the story environment, and the duels are presented nicely too. As the game progresses though and Jin is confronted with the weakness and consequences of sticking to his code both in story as well as the gameplay, the game tempts you with the dark path more and more. First by giving you all these new, shiny yet cowardly tools, kunai, smoke bombs, explosives, poison etc, also an ability that lets you see enemies through walls, and increases your mobility via a certain tool, stealth is therefore easier, and more fun, your stealth kills also get more elaborate and much faster and cooler looking as Jin gets more used to it all, you can feel that he does not view the mongols as human anymore, you also unlock great armor sets that make it even more fun. The second part of that is making the open approach less appealing with every mission and area. Enemies get more armor and better attacks that are harder to parry, dodge or counter, while the odds are ever more in their favor due to bigger and bigger numbers. They also begin to fight dirtier when you challenge them openly, feigning attacks during stand offs, generally using fire arrows, flash grenades or bombs, sending dogs at you, using artillery, even taking peasant hostages they try to kill from the moment you reveal yourself to them. You certainly can keep playing the honorable samurai outside of story missions, but you are making things much harder for yourself, obviously you also want to switch it up anyway to avoid repetition to be felt too much. The game making this transition so naturally was really fun to witness. Sure, eventually you get hit with the hammer by the story, they make you hate the mongol dogs so much you not only want them to die, you want them to suffer, as your character and the fun cast of side characters and relatives of them have suffered, they also presented it in a clear black and white kind of way. Your own character takes his sweet ass time evolving, getting on your nerves with his stupid takes, preaching, doing dumb moves, ignoring good advice, but eventually he comes around and realizes that the mongols have fully figured out how to easily defeat simpleton samurai, but not his new hybrid fighting style, not the Ghost of Tsushima, a role Jin is getting into more as the game progresses. Other characters meanwhile refuse to use their head, do what is right for the sake of the people, they'd rather get them killed sticking to the old ways. The story is not the most creative, but it is paced reasonably well, you know who you want to support and who you want to die, the acting is great, not too many nonsense points in it even if the scale is a bit weird, and you get a good supporting cast with not one character you would want to piss off of the screen urgently. Fun and interesting as the side characters were, sadly their own side stories had garbage pay offs, one of the few things I disliked about the game. Story and gameplay aside, the graphics look great, none of that ultra realistic horseshit, they went all in with the amazing color and style, avoiding realism at all cost as a concept in favor of creating one of the most impressive looking worlds I have ever seen in terms of atmosphere, japanese architecture is also uniquely suitable for the ninja type of sneaky ambush playstyle. They give you plenty of reasons to explore the world too, dozens of side tales, skins, power ups hidden in various collectibles and activities, artifacts and records to get more lore from the era and the events. The music was also good, and I say that as someone who dislikes japanese music, but it certainly fit this game and was aided by additional instruments during impactful moments, no complaints there. What we have here is a great game that does most things really well, some okay, with only a select few minor issues that do not take away from the experience in my mind. What I enjoyed the most is that it was a story that did revenge as a theme well, none of that emo shit, or pussying out at the last second, all except one case was followed through nicely. These people experienced great injustice and they weren't acting as lobotomized as some other characters in gaming to suddenly question what motivated them, kept them going, and what they know must be done if they ever want any hope at having a normal life again. The platinum journey was rather straightforward, story missions, collectibles, side activities, giving me enough to do that I saw most of the world, but not so much that I got tired of it like some other games do with their 300 collectibles. Also since a rip off game is coming out soon, developed by a certain trash company from France, let me just say in favor of Ghost of Tsushima that while there are some needless mentions about what certain characters do behind closed doors and with whom that I could have done without, at least it is not a front and center piece like it will be in that embarrassing product that drops in November, and neither are there characters that do not belong in the setting like in this upcoming Triple A turd that is trying to cash in on Ghost Of Tsushimas success after ignoring past demands for this kind of game for way over a decade. Ghost of Tsushima is definitely the full package, I'd be right on board for a sequel if one were to be made, but it works well as a standalone game too, sometimes it is better to not have a sequel after all. I still got the Iki dlc trophies left to earn, and the multiplayer ones, both of which I have been told are fun to play, looking forward to it, and I likely will keep playing this game beyond the 100% trophy completion. Popular Post Dauersack
Yet Another Zombie Defense HD #82: Awarded all trophies Expectations for this game were low, I picked it up because I like tower defense type games, and I like zombie games, and it was free. Keeping all these things in mind, this is still not a good game, but it was some mindless fun for a bit, running around killing zombies, bare bones tower defense elements, a bunch of weapons ranging from classics to more exotic ones, goofy graphics and sound effects, and for some reason the game throws more and more absurd monsters your way instead of sticking with different types of zombies. It lacks any real strategy and thought behind it, much less a story, it reminds me of old arcade games in terms of structure, but sometimes that is all you want, shutting off your brain and making a bunch of zombies explode until your character drops dead, and in thet regard the game delivered, though I would only recommend it for free or for like 1-2€, anything more would be too much.
