Popular Post SuffyZorugelion
#223 Orc Slayer (US) & #224 Orc Slayer (EU) I'm back with these piece of shit games again... Man, I really wish Deus Ex Mankind Divided was already out. I need to play something good instead of this Unity garbage Orc Slayer takes like 1-2 hours to beat and that's it. The gameplay is boring and uninspired from the minute you start playing. It has serious framerate problems and all the good stuff we like to complain about.

Popular Post SereneSilent
#12: Devil May Cry 2 HD NO DON'T MAKE M-! *Notices the readers* Uhmmm HiAnyway, DMC 2 was actually the first DMC game I have ever played 8/9 years ago.... I wish I was lying, I really do. I decided to get into the series after I saw my dad play DMC 1 for the PS2. What a way to get into it.In this game you get to choose the character you want to play via discs. Dante son of The Legendary Sparda or the mysterious Lucia. Both characters play differently. Dante focuses on strength and lucia on speed/agility. So Dante may be powerful but slow(I don't feel it but everyone has an opinion) and lucia may be fast but not as powerful as Dante. I lied there's actually a 3rd hidden character for this game who is usable in both discs but you must beat Dante's Hard mode and She is Trish from DMC 1. She's the balance character when it comes to attack and speed. The Controls in this game is different from the first game. DMC 1's attack combos were based on timing, wanted to do the 5 hit combo then you would attack twice and wait about a second or less and attack to do it, wanted to do a million stab then attack twice but wait for 2 seconds+ and keep pressing the attack button to do it. This game however did something else. The combos depended on moving the analog stick, yes that's right the analog stick, which is different from the 1st, 3rd and 4th game (Not sure of DmC because I never played it). Giving you only 4 combos in the game, attacking and then moving the analog stick during the 1st, 2nd or 3rd attack changed the type of attack your character would do. Guns in this game were overpower meaning that this game was gun driven and it does show it during certain.... certain.... certain.... bosses. Trish however controls differently from both Dante and Lucia. How you ask? Well her attack combos are based on timing like DMC 1 so you actually have a character that plays like the first game, starts off with Sparda (The sword) and Sparda's prized guns plus she has a broken Devil Trigger attack when flying and holding Square to fly ( I'm sure you PAL version owners know why *wink*).The bosses... well to be honest everyone says this is the easiest DMC game you'll ever play. I can see why and I agree but don't let it fool you, although the game feels easy it can be cheap. I explain why later. The bosses in this game did not pose a threat to me (To some may be but to other not really). An example, I fought them in DMD mode with Dante but never has any of them lowered my health to the red zone except 3 of them. One you encounter 3 times throughout the game, one near the end and the final boss (Dante). SO you may remember that I said that the game was gun driven and it shows it during certain bosses. There's a boss with Dante where I fired at it for 5 minutes before I beat it... wow I'm having so much fun... Oh wait there's another boss for Dante that stays away from me and occasional attacks me close by!? Dante's second to last boss is completely gun based (if you want to attack it melee you can but don't get destroyed in a few hits) OH WOW! Don't get me started on Lucia's boss mission during the water level. I will never forget the pain. The final boss for Lucia was a joke but Dante's final boss.... I think most of the planning went to this one. Dante's final boss in DMD mode gave me the hardest and fun challenge this game has offered (I know you can just play Lucia's disc for a easier final boss but I wanted a challenge)So how is this game cheap you may ask? Well there are 3 trophies you have to get to platinum and they are based on the Bloody Palace. Reaching to Floor 1,000 5,000 and 9,000. Sounds easy right? I mean the game was easy enough in story mode so it should be like it right? Oh how I wish you the best of luck. Bloody Palace in DMC 2 is a nightmare because it's so long, so enjoy a session of 3 - 6 hours of this mode! Normally in the Bloody Palace enemies go into their DT state (High Resistance to stun, more damage, takes less damage and has a higher AI than usual) when you reached near the end of the mode but in this game "Oh you reached the 1,000 floor/room? Guess We'll throw at you enemies that can DT so early!" There is one good thing about it and It's that you can use items in this mode (Only DMC 2 has that privilege). I also mentioned this game is cheap I'll explain now. Occasionally you'll encounter rooms filled with only Goat Men or worse the Pack of Wolves. When you get hit you get stun but you really don't have Invincibility frames so imagine needing 100 floors more to get the over 9000 trophy and you get stun lock by the goat men. Say goodbye to x amount of hours you put into. The wolves are nightmarish because there's so many of them and they constantly jump attack the room, knock you down, chip away at your health and occasionally stun lock you. These 3 trophies may be the last ones you need to platinum this but not me because I wanted to get rid of it asap.Unless you have the PAL version of the game (Which is the UK version but I may be wrong). Beat the game in DMD mode, go the palace mode and while holding certain buttons you get infinite Devil Trigger plus with Trish's broken DT attack you can get the 3 trophies in maybe 45 minutes ;P (Lucky people because cheats don't disable trophies for DMC 2... maybe they knew why). I endured the palace and the last room before the trophy popping up was just mothes (I Guess the game felt bad for putting me in a 4 hour session, with breaks in between, and decided to give me an easy room) After that I just let myself die because I didn't care once I got the trophy. What a long review I did and possibly my only one because if you do want to platinum this game prepare yourself for 3 of the hardest/cheap trophies this game has to give you unless you have a PAL version of the game then go for it.EDIT: I should mention the floors in the palace. You get to chose to go up by 1, 10 or 100 floors so don't think you actually have to go through 9000 floors/rooms you can actually do it in 90 rooms (If you only choose the 100 floor)Difficulty: 3/10 (Based on Normal Mode for Dante), 6/10(Based on DMD Mode for Dante)Enjoyment: 5/10 (The Bloody Palace in this game has triggered me and given me horrible memories) Edited August 15, 2016 by SereneSilent

Popular Post Redgrave
#77: World's Finest - Lego Batman 3 The final game I got during the superhero sale on PSN. I figured I would get it since I mostly bought Marvel games and I haven't played a Lego game since the original Lego Star Wars games. It was a decent enough game despite the collect-a-thon but I really liked being able to play as Green Lantern Batman. Overall an easy plat and worth the $17.

That's what the status updates are for if you want everyone to congratulate you. Also people leaves "likes" here, meaning they've read it. It would be a mess to have everyone congratulating everyone here, there would be less comments about platinums. Popular Post Rngesus37
#28 One Last Time Uncharted 4 platinum difficulty 2/10. If you use cheats, nothing is all that hard to get enjoyment 8/10. This is the best looking console game ever made. Much like every other game in the series outside of #2 it's an uneven game with brilliant moments, and this one has some pacing issues. Not sure how to rank it in the series after the second game. Probably something like 2>1>4>3. beautiful game though, Naughty Dog has proven that every other developer is a lazy sack of shit. Also wish the plat image was a little less embarrassing. Popular Post dev2610
Edit--> Game: Apotheon Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 Gameplay: 7/10 Did I enjoy the game: Yes Aptheon, despite being a 2D side-scrolling platformer, another indie title that Sony offered as part of free games line-up a while back (yes, this game is part of my huge backlog) holds up pretty good. The game looks quite cool, a fun adventure, to be honest. It is a decent game based on Greek Mythology stressing on man versus god battle (uummm, God of War, huh?) The gameplay isn't as clunky as some make it out to be, the mechanics, admittedly, is smooth. The background score is pleasant and amazing to see it playing it's part in making the game intriguing. Managing your weapon inventory, especially, during fights, though, was painful. Using the extras like potions and tonics was equally troublesome, I mean, these things do tend to become irritating in a platformer,in my opinion. Some trophies were easy as a piece of cake, especially, the Olympian difficulty trophy using a glitch, otherwise, the game could have quite tough, considering I was constantly getting overwhelmed by NPC enemies during fights in the lowest difficulty. The game did crash a lot so saving the game after every important collectible or unlocking an area in the map is advisable. To sum it up, it is a good game and it was free, no harm trying. :) Edited August 16, 2016 by dev2610

Popular Post DamagingRob
#146- Wolfenstein: The Old Blood The Old Blood master Collect all trophies I may be terrible at FPS games(probably because I don't play them a whole lot), but I can still appreciate a great one. And these Wolfenstein games are some great ones. If you played and liked The New Order, you'll enjoy this one. It's more of the same. With zombies! Which, I'll admit, I don't play a lot of zombie games. Being in the shoes of the person the zombies are trying to eat, just freaks me out for some reason. :/ I watch movies and shows with zombies all the time, though.. So, yeah, those things running at me wasn't pleasant, but I manned up and made it to the end. This Plat is a bit tougher than The New Order, as well. This time, you have challenges that you have to kill all the enemies in and get a high enough score on. Which requires playing them on at least "I am death incarnate" difficulty to achieve. Thank goodness, for those Youtube videos! And even then, some of them took me a number of attempts. But all in all, a really enjoyable prequel and Plat. Can't wait for the new one. Popular Post Ala-Arska
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs Platinum Trophy Unlock all the trophies One for the Trophy Cabinet, eh? My kids picked this one the other day when we were at the second-hand store. And they wanted to see me Plat the crap out of it Everything in CWaCoM screams "rushed money grub". Starting from the badly written trophy descriptions. I mean, there could've been some potential to it. Levels made out of giant food items can be aplenty and rich, but now they're just unimaginative It's one of the most monotonous games I remember playing in a long time. Collect 30 items in a level, run to the end, rinse and repeat 20 times. What Cloudy really needs is some variety. Flying sequences, food making, mini games, anything...but nope. A goddamn shame. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs falls between 'thrash' and 'bland'. But it might have been worse. At least my kids didn't choose Barbie and Her Sisters Puppy Rescue

Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 111 - ENTER THE GUNGEON Date of achievement : August 16 2016 Enjoyment : Difficult : 8,0 Hardest Trophy : Lead God/Gungeon Master Enter the Gungeon is a bullet hell roguelike video game developed by Dodge Roll and published by Devolver Digital. It follows four adventurers as they descend into the Gungeon to find a gun to kill their past, so are you ready to face the Gungeon? The game plays as fast paced bullet hell shooter game, if you played games like Binding of Issac you're in for a treat. While the rooms are pre-defined, the constellation of rooms in a floor is procedurally generated, so each room contains a set of enemies, which vary in strength, endurance, and attack behaviour. Since the game is also roguelike, each playthrough will be unique with new enemies, power ups and bosses. It's mega fun. I mean, how amazing is this? By the end of my numerous playthroughs i never got tired of it, the platinum popped last night and i'm already hoping they add dlcs for it like Isaac received after some time or at least that they keep supporting the game, as for now yeah baby, Dat Plat is mine.
