I would have asked if he got the no death and win trophy legit. The rest of the online was fairly easy, but that one... geez. Both times, I only got that trophy after many failed attempts, due to my opponent having a weak connection and getting disconnected. :/

#67: God of War II (PS Vita)

 

 

 

Difficulty: 4/10 (3/10 without Challenge of the Titans)

Enjoyment: 8/10

 

Yet another Vita platinum, this time a final revisit to Kratos' second PS2 outing. Improved upon the already excellent predecessor in every way, God of War II was an absolute treat when I first played and the PS3 HD version made the game play just as I remembered it. Sadly, just like the first port, the Vita version for II just doesn't hold up. Lagging enemies, dodgy collision detection and frame rate meltdowns abound. This helped to make the damned Challenge gauntlet even harder as well. That said, the campaign can be completed on Easy (Mortal) and no higher difficulty is required for the . Sets me up nicely for the God of War III remaster on PS4 then I will have every God of War platinum until GoW4 drops.

Well this game was outstanding. Playing as Fetch was great, oh and do I mention that she is hawt and I love her outfit? Laura Bailey voices her as well!

 

Great game, loved being in Seattle and being able to move at such fast speeds. Also the powers/upgrades were very cool to use, especially the Neon Singularities. 

 

Can't wait to start Second Son later!

How would you rate the game? Fun, difficulty etc,,? This game is on sale along with several others on EU PSN Store. I may just buy it. Suggestions needed

I would say mediocre, not too shabby but nothing special. I didn`t play original game back in the day so I didn`t had that nostalgia factor working for me.

 

It had some funny moments and some irritating like music blasting constantly through present time for one trophy, preventing you to think clearly where to go next, at least it was like that for me.

 

Difficulty is easy with the help of guide. For solving puzzles you must go through many dialogues and conversations to pick up hints what is needed for some action or item, then to figure it out which item to pass over from past to future or present and vice-versa.  

 

If it`s really cheap I would say go for it.

**********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience**********

 

A long lost Wild Wild West game that almost forgotten until PlayStation Plus made it free in July 2016  ........... ..........  there a problem...I had traded in my copy 5 years ago and I can't remember much of the story I only know it's was a FPS in western theme.

 

I fire up the game and try the campaign mode but in the first cut-scenes I immediately recall the whole story and how it was ended  then I try to play through the single player again only to put it down after chapter 1 cause the graphics color is pretty dull  so I said to myself anyway I already completed the game and still can recall the story so why force myself to play it again but I remember I pretty enjoy the game at that time.  Hmm...maybe I'm too spoils with today graphics and those striking colorful backgrounds...look how far technology have advance in last 5 years.

 

So I fully focus on multiplayer trophies as I didn't boost it 5 years ago because I thought those online trophies can't be boosted and I'm so suck in FPS now I'm still not good in FPS but I dare to play with others.

Such a funny game, and I enjoyed it immensely. Not much more to say, without spoiling things. Surprised this is so rare, though.. Is it the speedrun trophy? Some of the missables? Most adventure games are usually Uncommon, at best.   It was on Plus, too, so that probably contributed.

Platinum #39 : Alice madness returns. Man it was creepy as hell but soo much fun to play. Way better than the original in terms of controls, visuals of course, and game design. The second is better in terms of its atmosphere and soundtrack. Very awesome game and that creepy endin will haunt me forever especially he dollhouse level :/.

Platinum #40: The saboteur, very underrated sandbox game where you play as an Irish racer based on a real person during the 1940s ( WWII basically). During a race when youre about to win, another racer shoots your tire to win in order to prove the population that the German Reich is now superior. You later take revenge on him with your friend not knowing that he's actually a high German official and you end up getting tortured and captured. You make it out but you friend don't. As you flee to a German occupied France, you get sucked into the war in order to avenge your friends death. It's pretty awesome and often overlooks by players. Definitely recommend and glad to make it my 40th plat .

#155 - The Bit.Trip

 

Got this one about a week ago. I really liked Void, Beat and Flux and found them all really easy. Since they were the first three I played I thought I was in for a fun, easy and quick UR platinum, but I was wrong. I played Fate next which while still quite easy was really boring in my opinion.

 

Then came Runner which I absolutely hated. For some reason runner really hurt my eyes when I played it so I could only play for about 5 minutes at a time. Since I also misunderstood the difficulty options I'd accidentally set it to hard difficulty which I found pretty hard. It wasn't a good kind of hard though, it was just frustrating. There were very few new obstacles it was just a matter of dodging about 40 in a row without a mistake.

 

Finally after completing Runner I moved onto Core. Once again I was mistakenly stuck on Hard and I had a horrible time with it. The levels were far too long when you can't really prepare for some of the new patterns. It seemed like it was a game of trial and error where you'd fail at each new pattern introduced and waste 10 minutes each time. You had to ensure you hit the special power-ups or it was an instant game-over. Since I have absolutely zero rhythm I resorted to button mashing for the quicker bits which worked surprisingly well. I finally realized I was stuck on hard in the final level, swapped it to easy and did it first try with no problems. 

 

Overall this game is difficult, but not as difficult as you'd expect for a <2% platinum. It left a really sour taste in my mouth after Runner and Core though so I'm very glad to be rid of this.

Actually we tried to boost all online trophies as a group of 4 but i was paired with only one guy from my group in a few matches. And one time we had luck that our enemies left just seconds after battle started and i got that no death trophy reaally easy

    Took me well over a year to get started on SP, but I migrated from 360 and I obviously played the hell out of it then (both on an offline). I tend to enjoy poring over every detail, as well as getting the 100%/Plat, so I saved this surprisingly slick looking platinum for when I had time to dedicate to it. It was even better the second time around (even despite the SP/Endgame essentially being "stuck" with no updates in sight),

 

    Regardless, Franklin and the Peyote plants was definitely a pinnacle gaming moment for my fiance and me. =D

First of all .. huge shout out to my buddy harrisonr1 whom i did every trophy with..campaign ..coop and multiplayer all done with him. without you i would have never returned to this game. thanks a ton mate 
well.. after 10 months finally got to plat this . when i started it at first played 3 missions ,got bored real quick and had been on my shelf ever since. i think sniper elite v2 was much better in every aspect. like i said only coop with your best friend makes this much enjoyable. trophy wise.. SE3 is not a hard plat if you have a partner and both of you are good with snipers. authentic can be brutal but once you get the hang of it you will get there. what made it harder was the fact that there were no radar..no bullet drop marker..wind effect.. enemies are deadlier and smarter and theres no checkpoints die and restart the mission . therefore it was a real challenge and a test of patience and trial and error. if you struggle you can always use the glitch makes it much easier still can be tricky tho.

Easy platinum with a bit of a grind (Thankfully nowhere near the nightmare grind of DOAX2 though). The 5x end bonus XP until the end of the month helped speed it up a bit. Now to try and get through the Venus grind on Vita before the 5x XP ends but with F1 2016 out tomorrow and Madden 17 on Tuesday I might get distracted from trying. Probably should have done Venus first too so it didn't seem like as much of a downgrade but still impressive what they got out of the Vita with it and I love the Vita so will still enjoy the grind all over again.
