Really great and surprising game. I've waited several years for this one as it was announce as a PS3 move game years ago and I must say, I'm not disappointed. It was cool to see some great actors and voice acting too. The story was really good and the horror parts were really well done. Overall a really solid game, really glad I played it.

Another platinum closer towards my 100th. I thought this one was a bit deceptive at first, i tried the game without a second controller and it was really difficult. But with a second controller and with waiting those 8 hours in both modes generating infinite continues the game got really easy. The thing is, that normally when you run out of lives (max 5) you would have to use a continue and you start back at a previous checkpoint, in the beginning you start with 3, so you have 15 lives to finish the campaign, with infinite continues this means of course infinite lives as well.

 

The second controller introduces another flaw, because then you can use a continue while the other ship keeps on fighting and then return in the action, this means that when one ship is destroyed (a ship drops a bomb after using a continue) it works as an advantage.

Also a ship starts with 3 bombs, every time you lose a life you get your 3 bombs back. So i only had to press circle to use a bomb on my other ship. Let that one die and i got my bombs back.

 

And to make it even easier, you didn't even have to clear the level to get the trophy, when you have to fight the final boss, you can just run the time out and it counts as having passed the level.

That makes the game less fun for me, it could have been fun but it also gets repetitive because the game only has 5 levels and you have to repeat them 6 times. They could have added some extra levels to add more variety to the game. 

The plat is also very quick, i had done one playthrough on hard, picked it up again saturday evening, and i wasn't home the entire sunday afternoon, and i still got the platinum sunday evening.

 

Difficulty: 2/10

Enjoyment: 6/10

 

P.S.: Really like the trophy images, much better then the average game

An amazing story. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Actually enjoyed this more than the TellTale series. I remember when I first saw this game, I thought it looked kinda weird cause of the lip syncing issues, but I eventually just ignored it and it didn't bother me so much. The mechanics of rewinding time were really cool, but I had kinda wish they used it a lot more to solve puzzles. I'm hoping that the make another game in the same vain. Anyone who enjoys a good story should definitely play this.

Main Game

Finally after many hours my quest has come to an end. This is probably the first and last time that I'll go for an MMO platinum. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the Final Fantasy series, but FFXIV is definitely not what I expected it to be. There was just so much to do. There were millions of side quests and it never seemed to end lol. Furthermore the lack of voice-acting made it pretty plain in a lot of cutscenes/conversations. Next to those things there was also a lot of grinding involved. Hours after hours, days after days. It almost felt like I got sucked into this one episode of South Park where they had to grind on the weakest enemies for weeks/months to become stronger than the other guy.

 

 

Not everything about this game was bad though. One thing I absolutely adore about this game is the music. Fantastic music which created an awesome atmosphere all around.

 

Luckily, even with this massive content, the trophies weren't that bad. In fact, they were actually pretty easy to obtain. Most of them were just grindy, but not difficult at all. It could've been a lot worse. Imagine that there were trophies for obtaining all of the quests/side-quests, or reaching to level 60 in each of the classes. Now that'd take a long time.

 

Anyways, glad I'm done with it. The platinum image looks phenomenal and it's definitely an awesome platinum for my 150th Milestone.

It's been a while since my latest Dragon Ball Z game so I was really excited to play this game. I'm glad it didn't disappoint. The game was pretty fun, although I must admit that I liked Battle of Z more than this one. The main reason of that is because this one had a lot more grinding and RNG involved. I think that I've been really lucky with the RNG though. When I was going for all of the skills I've obtained most of them on the first few attempts. Only two skills took a long time to obtain, but overall I'd say it went pretty smoothly. The character customization was one of my favorite features of this game. Also I liked looking at other characters because some of them were pretty badass! Although not as badass as mine

Main Game

Didn't really expect much when I booted up this game, but it turned out to be pretty fun! Overall this game was pretty easy. Didn't have any trouble with the puzzle and the race modes, but the survival modes sometimes were a bit tricky. Get it? Because this game is called Tricky to-- Alright I'll let myself out lol.

 

The multiplayer was a lot of fun too! It was fun doing cups against other players and just having a little competition of who can get as fast to the finish line without your tower falling over. It was hilarious seeing other towers fall apart right before the finish line lol. Definitely recommend this game to anyone that is looking for a fun challenge.

Well that was... unexpected. After seeing so many bad reviews about this game I actually thought it was going to be a really bad game, but I really enjoyed it. It was nowhere as bad as people said it'd be. The campaign was awesome and the Exo Survival was pretty fun too. I'm not sure why people say this game was garbage? Maybe people just hate the COD franchise in general and label all their games as shit. Might as well just ignore future reviews and try it out regardless.

#45: Mugen Souls

 

Finally glad to be done with this game. The grind is just as bad as everyone says, although they don't warn you about the horrible RNG that elongates it by forcing you to hard reset every few minutes when things go wrong. 545 hours on my save file (although I took a lot of breaks with the console on). I'd say it probably took 600 hours factoring in the reset times.

Could have had a better Platinum name but oh well. Definitely a good game and I would say worth the hype it got. It's also one of the few post-apocalyptic games that actually left a lot of wonder and mystery as to what happened before everything went down.

Great hack 'n slash! With the gameplay and combat akin to God of War and Devil May Cry, Darksiders is based off of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalyse and focuses on the Horsemen, War. This game puts its own twists to a whole lot of elements from those games, incorparates them here, and makes something incredibly fun to play. The story is pretty good, the puzzles are fun to solve and interesting (they come with a hugely satisfying sound when you complete them), the different levels are great to explore for collectibles and caskets with special abilities to equip to your weapons, and, the best part of all, incredible gameplay. It wasn't too great at first with the limited amount of weapons to use and combos associated with them, but some more hours later changed that. The weapons that War unlocks throughout the game are very different and fun to use interchangebly in combat, and the array of gadgets found throughout the world make puzzles more interesting. Along with your health is something called Wrath just below it; accumulated throughout battle, you can use it for Wrath Powers bought with souls, a currency in the game you get when you kill enemies. The weapons are leveled up as you use them to be more damaging.

 

The bosses are also something I liked; they wait at the very end of dungeons. There are many of them, each are different in strategy, and each requires the use of a gadget attained in the dungeon. Some were a little tricky, but all were fun to face and not hard to defeat.There were some takeaways, though small. One was Ruin, an awesome horse you unlock pretty late in the game. This horse was really underused, as not only is there not very much time to use it before the end of the game, but the areas Ruin can be summoned is pretty small. The 100 mile and 150 kill trophies associated with Ruin exposed this even moreso; these required grinding after every other trophy was already finished to nab. It was also a little annoying to have the sword we use and level up nearly the entire game, the Chaoseater, entirely replaced by a new sword at the end of the game. The game's hardest difficulty, Apocalypse, didn't seem that hard other than two or three of the bosses. 

 

This was a great game to play, and easy to recommend, especially to those who likes GOW and DMC. Now, time to go visit Rapture.

Picked this title up a few days ago and I was hoping that it would be an alternative go to MP game. Didn't turn out that way, but it was kinda fun.

As an FPS this game probably ranks low on the difficulty scale. On the hardest campaign difficulty I probably died six or seven times, so if you are used to CoD you should be a-okay. The SP was awesome and really the only reason to pick up this game. BT, your titan, is awesome!

MP really disappointed me. It was okay, but after ranking as top pilot in most of the games it got boring pretty quick.

Trophy wise this is piss easy. There are stackable difficulty trophies which is nice, but there are collectible trophies as well... I hate collectible trophies...

My last Titanfall game but I appreciate this series for what it is.
