Popular Post Golem25
Trophy #5,337 Tropico 5 The China Card - Successfully completed 5 trade routes with China in a single game 6,551 Achievers out of 210,292 Owners for a rarity percentage of 3.12% (Ultra Rare) This one was a pain in the neck, frankly. The rarest Trophy on Tropico 5's list barring the Platinum, you need to complete five trading contracts with the Chinese which are only available in the modern era and can take quite a while to fulfill depending on the amounts stipulated. If exports are required, you need to produce ridiculous heaps of goods while imports will cost you an arm and a leg. You've also a time limit to worry about and your domestic approval can't tank or you'll get tossed out of the palace via an election. I actually ended up doing this during the Hope level rather than a sandbox game with unlimited money, which is the recommended approach. I'm hardcore like that. As you can see from the timer in the bottom right, I was this close *pinches thumb and index finger* to failing, which would have been exceptionally painful considering I spent about two hours on this past midnight. For reference, that timer started at 250 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________- Trophies #5,326, 5,328, 5,330, 5,331, & 5,332 The King of Pearls - Had 3 Oyster Farms and a Jewelry Workshop - 3,354 Achievers (10.03% - Very Rare) Seasteading - Had 1 of each waterborne buildings in a single playthrough - 2,451 Achievers (7.33% - Very Rare) My Precious - Finished the Waterborne campaign with the Black Pearl in your possession - 1,542 Achievers (4.61% - Ultra Rare) Surfin' Tropico - Completed Waterborne campaign - 1,706 Achievers (5.10% - Very Rare) Herbivore - Defeated Captain Plant in the final battle - 1,304 Achievers (3.90% - Ultra Rare) Technically not the last Trophies I earned, but I wanted to call out these five DLC Trophies from the Waterborne expansion pack. I mentioned previously that the airbrushed Trophy tiles used for Tropico 5 look exceptional, and I think the first four of these very much fit the bill. Seasteading and Surfin' Tropico are just gorgeous, you can't convince me otherwise. Maybe I should have saved one of these for a level up milestone.... The fifth, Herbivore, deserves a different call out for being the hardest Trophy on the list and doubling as a fun little reference. You need to do some pretty specific things in the final level of Waterborne for this one, and if you didn't set up your island properly in the previous missions you're guaranteed to have a fight on your hands. Not me, though; you better believe I perfected that island and incinerated this poor guy, who was supposed to have a different name but saw his legacy tainted by an unfortunate typo. Play Tropico 5 if you get the chance. Edited July 10, 2021 by Golem25

But I was like, I'm rusty, lets play some 3 to dust of the cobwebs. So I was looking at the trophy list and was like, I'll get that last secret exit. Oh I need the yellow gem. I need 10 relics to get the secret gem. Might as well go for gold since I'm here. And it just kind of snowballed. I'm 23 of 31 Relics deep. And might as well finish up and get the Plat. The trophy, not relics.
Popular Post MrGarland
Training Complete - Achieve Level Rank 50 Training complete? More like grinding complete, because that's what it exactly felt like. So far, some of the games I've played had some grinding that was more or less fun. Maxing out levels in Final Fantasy XIII was boring, doing 500 bounties in Diablo III was annoying and that medal farming in Code Vein was the worst. Actually, I take that back because this was worse than any of the games I mentioned. I know there are grinds that are more terrible than this, but the grind I did for this is currently the worst one for me. Mainly because how many times I had to replay it (which is around 400 times or so). It also doesn't make it any better that the game crashed every once in a while. This makes me wonder if I can do New York Minute Hardcore because of that. I honestly hope I can make it, but more about it when the time is right. Anyway, I should mention that I didn't start grinding right away. By the time I was done with other online trophies, I was at level 14. After getting them out of the way, it was time to start. Whenever the game has some grinding involved, I usually listen to something else while playing. However, it didn't work for this game, as I ended up being less focused if I did that. Especially if it was something I'd rather watch than listen. As a result, I was forced to listen to the game dialogue over and over again. Every now and then, I changed my strategy, just to see if I could do it any faster. Ultimately, the fastest way for me was to use the Soft Lock option and dual wield the pistols. Took me a few runs, but I managed to do it under 3 minutes most of the time, though this is luck dependent. It all depends on how some of the enemies act. Other than that, it's really easy. Once you reach rank 50, you think that's it? Well, no. There's also Legend ranks, but here's the catch. Your level, weapons and all that will drop to level 1, even if they're maxed out. You do get an exclusive skin and a money booster, but seriously? All that work for nothing? Thankfully, you don't have to do that, as it's optional. Also, let's be grateful that there's no trophy for such a task. The idea of doing such a thing is out of the question. I'm just glad I'm finally done with the multiplayer, though I wish I could say the same about the game. Anyway, all the online trophies are now done. I still have to complete the Challenge Mode, but at least I don't have to worry about the platinum being unobtainable once the servers are closed in September. Speaking of Challenge Mode, is there any reason you have to be online to get that trophy? It's not a multiplayer trophy and there's nothing too specific. You just replay the story chapters while completing challenges, so what gives? With all that being said, I'm going to take this weekend off, as the grind was extremely tedious and I honestly feel tired after all that. I'll be back in the game next week, but I won't platinum it yet. I'll take my time with it. Edited July 12, 2021 by MrGarland
Popular Post LancashireLad87
Guilty Gear Revelator (PS4) Trophy: Platinum (PSNProfiles 1.44%/Sony 0.20%) Over the last fortnight myself and a friend have been playing through this amazing fighting game. This is my 26th platinum trophy and my 2nd rarest platinum behind King of Fighters 13. My playtime was around 32 hours for the platinum which is slower than the trophy guide, please bare in mind I skipped the entire story mode and completed over 700 combo challenges and 70 missions in 3 and a half hours. M.O.M mode took me just over 4 hours to earn it's respective trophies. The most difficult trophy is earning 150 unique online badges. What makes this trophy obnoxious is the fact that there's no comprehensive guide on how to earn this trophy as many of the badge descriptions linked within the trophy guide are misleading or incorrect, such as Choosing Battles and Overcoming Weakness. Both of which we tried many different ways and we still couldn't get the badge to unlock. Of the 4 platinum's I have on my account that have a PSNProfiles rarity less than 2% this is the easiest to complete in my opinion. If I were to rate the games difficulty I would probably give it between a 6/10 or a 6.5/10 simply because of the Holy Order's Rose trophy. Needless to say I'm happy to add this platinum to my collection, best of luck to anyone who still needs this trophy!

da-Noob123
Fatso from Kingdom Come Deliverance. Be overstuffed for two days cumulatively. This game is definitely a slow burn at first. You basically have to teach the main character how to do everything except eat. Seriously, from swordplay to reading to lockpicking and he sucks at it all at the beginning. It might as well be me living in Bohemia in 1403 but I have started to find my footing, most skills are level 3 or higher so the game is becoming easier and more enjoyable. I've got a horse now and a purse full of groschen, the world is my oyster. Until I find a tree in the middle of the road because I know that I am about to be ambused by 4 bandits which is beyond my combat abilities at this time... but one day I will make them pay. I think this game might very well be a diamond in the rough. Between the Witcher 3 and this, Bethesda really needs to step up their game for Elder Scrolls VI. It doesn't have to be as realistic as KC:D but it definitely needs to have a more compelling story for the campaign and side quests - radiant missions are not going to cut it and neither will just having a large open world. Fatso is probably one of the last easy miscellaneous trophies so it will be a long long journey to platinum but I am looking forward to it.
