Get a 3-star rating on all Dashes in the main game

Not as bad as I thought it might be. If you are hesitant to do Mirror's Edge Catalyst because of this trophy, don't be. Most I had to retry any dash was maybe 10 times. Ran through all of them in under 3 hours.

I agree. The dashes are not that bad since outside of one or two, they're all pretty short and easy to practice on.
I'd like to go back and plat the first game eventually, but that's way harder.

Fighting the Malboro wasn't that bad. Having Magnify linked to Cleansing then casting Resist is a huge help. It also gives you ample time from when the attack is announced to being able to get out of range. I had more trouble with the Tonberries in the earlier rounds until I learned that you can actually parry their Chef's Knife attack.

 

That last VR mission was tough. Leviathan is still annoying whenever it spends its time flying around for the last phase of the fight. The hardest part is when Bahamut summons Ifrit. You have to ignore Ifrit as much as possible because Bahamut trying to cast Megaflare is much more serious. What made that round easier was having Elemental linked with Fire in the armor slot so while I was dealing with Bahamut, I was getting healed by Ifrit's attacks.
Compared to that, the Pride and Joy Prototype was easy. Your HP and MP are restored by 50% each round so I spammed Thunder magic on the thing.

That completes playthrough #1, starting on Gamer had a couple tough spots, but once I maxed out all my equipment to 999 (at around the half-way point), it got pretty easy. I was just going to do some multi saves on my Otaku run to get the other endings, but I think it'll actually be quicker/easier to just speedrun a couple extra Easy playthroughs (it'll probably only take a few hours per run), so I think I'll do that next.

My first AC game. I was aware that the series existed, but for some reason never gave it proper attention and maaann.. did I underestimated it.

Really enjoyed it! Hope we don't have to wait a decade for the next main installment.

I'll play AC5 next, but I want to finish other games first.

Easy UR plat. I just had to play through the main story (art's dream), collect all the bubbles and complete bunch of tutorials.

Leveling up to 30 wasn't too bad either, thanks to autohotkey + remote play.

 

Definitely a game/platform? that I'll regularly revisit. There are some mind-blowing stuff done (and continued to be done) on a fucking ps4.. crazy.

Soooo.... this will bring back some very painful memories for many a hunter who played Persona 4 Golden on Vita or PSTV. Sorry about that.

 

Risette is a Japanese idol who joins your party following the completion of the first few dungeons in the game, at which point she becomes a 'navigator' of sorts; she supplies directions and tips, as well as general comments, throughout your dungeon diving adventures. You need to hear 250 unique lines out of her to pop the Trophy.

 

The problem with this Trophy? The reason it has driven many people to anger, with some failing to encounter it even after nine natural playthroughs? Well, the game doesn't track which or how many lines you've heard, they can be incredibly random, and the community disagrees over whether they carry over between playthroughs. Hardcore Risette Fan, or HRF for short, espouses all of the frustrations that go with collectible Trophies, yet possesses none of the charm as you are forced to use a spreadsheet to cross off which lines you've heard and which you need to farm for. And even then, no one is sure which ones count and which ones don't; consensus seems to be that you need to see Rise's picture (Trophy tile), hear her line, and see it written on screen while in battle.

 

I had never played a Persona game before. Heck, I had never played a turn-based JRPG outside of Pokemon. But HRF gave me little trouble due to my dedication to farming for it, guide and excel sheet in hand, from the moment she joined my party. Truth be told I didn't even hear or see it pop, I only found it in my Trophy list 40 minutes after it popped; I did have to go over 250 for it though, my grand total was 262 - so it's clear that some lines don't seem to count towards HRF. Nevertheless, my relief was grand - for I could now enjoy the rest of the game by playing whichever way I wanted to, without farming or strategizing to maximize my line harvest. Up until popping this Trophy, my enjoyment was 9/10 but after discovering it had unlocked, it went up to 10/10.

 

Persona 4 Golden is a masterpiece, a true testament to how brilliant the Playstation Vita can be and how criminal its demise truly is; just a shame that this Trophy ruined it for some Trophy hunters, and made me enjoy my own runthrough slightly less than I normally would have. That being said, I look forward to doing it all over again - perhaps as Platinum #100 on my list; after all, despite living in Europe I was somehow sold an American copy of the game (for 20 GBP! AMAZING!), which means that it should be relatively easy for me to find a PAL copy and stack the list (the first time outside of cross-play I will be doing this). I'll also keep both physical copies, because I just love this game that much. Damn. Thanks to the PSNP community for convincing me to buy Golden.
