Now and Then: 2017 Gaming Goals

Hello fellow gamers. 

In a few days 2016 will be part of the history. 

So, it's time to look forward and post our list of goals for 2017.

Considering I couldn't achieve some of my 2016 ones, I have to retry some of them 

Here I go:

• Get Platinum Tier in the PP Prince of Persia
• Get Silver Tier in the PP Tales of
• Reach Trophy Level 27
• Get at least one platinum per month
• Achieve 100% in at least 10 non-platinum games.
• Keep my completion percentage above 60% (finish uncompleted games - main goal)

Ok guys/gals, share yours and for the most Get fun gaming 

The "Now and then" part of the title was meant to keep track of our goals.

my main goals for 2017 are

1 Get My 200th Plat

2 get over 75% completion

3 try to get under 4,000 trophies unearned

 I managed to achieve most of my goals. Some of my goals were get over 90% completion on my profile(check). Get over 4000 trophies on my profile(check). Get in the top 50 fastest achievers list for most of the games I played(check).My final goal is to reach 70 platinum trophies before the year ends. I'm currently at 67 right

now.

 

edit: I've achieved my end of the year goal of 70 plats. Currently at 77.

I'm going to achieve all my goals for this year I'm one off 50 Platinum's & close enough to level 25 to get those done by the end of the year, along with what I already accomplished. 

 

Next year I want to hit #100 & level 50 with 10,000 plus trophies earned. A completion rate of 80% & 5 trophies per day.

I remember I made goals for 2016 as well, but I totally forgot what they were like two months in.  I should probably write these down somewhere to avoid that this time.

Alright then, here's mine:

• Reach PSN level 38
• Reach 180 platinum trophies
• Get to 90% completion and maintain it
• Get at least 5 ultra rare platinum trophies
• Get at least 10 platinum trophies on Vita
• Bring my unearned trophies below 1000

Neither of those things will happen.     I will catch myself up on Kingdom Hearts, though. That will be done.

• achieve my 50th platinum
• raise my completion % to above 75 (and keep it above that)
• un-dust my PS3 and give it ♡

Ultimate Lofty Dreamer Version ♪ (to soothe the ambitious craziness in me)

• achieve more than 50 platinums
• raise my completion % near 80 
• complete ToX games and TU, battle it out with Graces f and start SO4

- 92% completion

- Reach trophy level 80

After being dedicated to Trophy Hunting just 3 months ago, I have a few goals I would like to achieve before the end of next year.

Completion Percentage at 60%

100 Plats and 100 Completed Games

Unearned Trophies under 3,500

And the most ambitious goals:

Be in the top 1,000 in USA

Reach trophy level 45

• Significantly shrink my backlog
• Ideally get 90% completion (realistically get close to 90%)
• Spend as little money on games as possible (correlated to shrinking my backlog)

Lets hope for a successful year.

Totally with you in that last one, the backlog is too big already

From 23k to 1,000, now that's ambitious

• 90% or better completion rate on here
• No games ranked below C
• Start all my games that aren't direct sequels to unfinished games, with the exception of Tales of Xillia

And for a bit of extra, on Steam:

• 450 perfect games (currently at 330)
• 97% completion  (currently at 95%)

• Completion above 65%
• Finish all the Final Mix Kingdom Hearts games
• Get another trophy milestone

I only managed to reach 1 of my goals this year: platting Persona 4 Golden. I say it was the only one worth it among the other resolutions I made. With that said, I'll try to limit my goals to 4.

 

• Plat 15 PS3 games - getting a PS4 next year, and it would be great if I could complete more PS3 games
• Plat Final Fantasy XIII - plan on buying FF15, so it would be nice to get this off my profile. Would love to include the other 2, but trying to limit my goals this year
•  100 % Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - the first game I played on the PS3. Would be nice to complete it 
• 25 plats - Platted 21 games in 2016, and it would be awesome to beat my score

Just for fun on here I give myself bronze, silver gold and platinum targets for platinums, completed games, PSN level and completion %.

This year I hit my platinum target for all but my completion rate, but still have it a good go.  For 2017 my platinum level targets are

• 150 Platinums total
• 200 Games total complete
• 78% completion
• PSN level 37

Hoping to clear some of my oldest backlog games like Metro Redux next year.  Not going to promise to reduce my backlog though as there are always new games going on there.

Definitely know what my goals going to be for next year.

• Clear out some of my Vita/PS3 backlogs that I kept putting off
• Buy a Nintendo Switch
• Achieve Trophy level 20 or higher
• Earn 30 or more platinum trophies
• Buy less (No promises) video games as possible
• Try to get 50% completion rate
• Play the PS3 more

Well i Just settled downsome objectives this October so they were nothing hard to do of course and currently i'm missing just some that are

- Reach 105 platinums (I miss one)

- Reach 2500 Trophies unearned (Just 26 to get)

- Complete Sportfriends/Costume quest 2 and 1 PsVita game (So short stuff if i sit down and make this)

- Percentage at 73% (currently 72,09% so not far)

 

And that's it what i miss to do in this 3 weeks, for my 2017 objectives well, i'll make trhe on January 1st and probably since i know myslef i'll make 3 Months Objective rather than 1 year ones or i know i'll spend most of the time telling "Yeah tomorrow i have a lot of time"
