I'm probably just gonna wait a few years to buy it... Will you? Edited February 15, 2013 by GHOZTPRIME

Artemisthemp
PS4 will need to meet certain criteria in order for me to drop the money on Day 1.
theitdemon
I will give it a little while. Give Sony time to iron out any issues that may crop up with it. Also gives a bit of time for a load of really good games to be released on it. I am very interested iin getting one. A lot of my decision rests on what games are available and if we will be able to play PS3 games on it

Ditto, I won't be buying one at launch, particularly as I was a late convert to the PS3 and I have loads of games to play as it is! I'm also going to wait for any little issues to be ironed out - so I guess I'll probably wait something like 6 months before jumping over to the PS4. Of course, I may change my mind depending on what is announced on the 20th!
AlteredFormula
After the issues that have plagued day 1 systems this generation, its highly unlikely that I will buy on day 1. I still need confirmed specs before I even consider buying into the next gen consoles.
DanielVT
Once they announce a release date, I will be saving up and CERTAINLY be buying it on day one. No doubt.
mattie_medusa
I highly doubt I'll buy it for a few years. Since it'll be like $800 here and I don't have that kind of money.
simpgraus
i think we are all just wait to see what the specs are and how much it's going to cost..
Mr_MovieMan29
I will wait at least for the 2nd generation PS4 until I buy it. If the games are great, I might get it sooner
Crisis001
I do plan on buying it when it's released like I did so far for all Playstation consoles (except Vita), but before I even think about it, I want tot hear more about this new system. I mean, we've barely heard anything except rumors and such.

I mean, we've barely heard anything except rumors and such. I've got a similar tradition there, hoping the price of the new console won't be astronomical. I've managed to buy all of the Playstation consoles on day one since the days of the original Playstation. Kinda hoping I can keep this tradition going with the Playstation 4. Kirbz
probably not. I'll most likely wait until christmas or something
biotransformatio
even if I buy it,the price of game will also be high by then,so I decide to wait for the price going down.
Parker
Unless Sony announces something idiotic (like having to be connected to the internet to play games) the PlayStation 4 will be a day one purchase just like all other Sony consoles have been for me. MatCauthon
I probably will, or soon after.
Nervoso13-_-
I think, I & millions of people will not give up to play GTA V & buy the PS4 now!
Piggie_Pie
I always wait till the bugs get worked out first... i have seen a LOT of generations of gaming consoles and it is VERY normal for a system to have bugs... i end up buying about 6 to 9 months after the console has been out... on top of all that, it will be a while until i play all the PS3 games that i have on my shelf and it is likely that the PS4 will not be backwards compatible so i will be playing two systems even if i buy the PS4 late in the game. I WILL on the other hand buy some of the PS4 games on day one if they have special editions or any kind of limited content or pre-order bonuses so i won't miss out on stuff depending on the game... as crazy as that sounds, i have kinda started to collect Japanese RPGs and i don't want to miss out on something just because i don't own the system right away... But i will be sure to buy one around the 6 to 9 month mark.
Kyouko_Sakura
I think I'll wait and see not only does a close to $1,000 price tag seem likely but I want to see what it can and can't do before putting any money towards it.
BrunoBomb
A few years later when tyhey drop the price. But I really loved to try that new feature of the controller to make videos of the game and upload it to Youtube.
AndroidFox
I would if I had the money. Luckily I still have plenty of games on the PlayStation 3 that I want to play, so I don't mind waiting.
ZeRoCoOL06
Heck yeah, I'm getting the PS4 on day
patate12
They seem to favour download games or key activated games rather than normal box games you can lend, resell etc. If so I would probably not buy such a console.
REDSHIRT64
All depends on the announcement and the specs of the launch console. Money is saved but chances are will be holding off for at least the first 6 months since I have a ton of PS3 games yet to play.
daftprophet
Haha. Simply no. Like some others have already stated, I'll always wait a year or two until the bugs are completely worked out. You don't want a base model that'll just Ylod anyway
