DrakeHellsing
https://gamerant.com/metal-gear-survive-pay-for-more-saves/ As if you thought the microtransactions weren't bad enough, if you want to make a new character, you know, with a new save, gotta pay for it. So either, you delete your current save file, or pay 1,000 SV coins (in-game currency). And to get 1,000 SV, players would need to shell out about $10... minimum.

VeritableLemon
This has got to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard of in gaming. About $10 just to have another save file with a new character? Now I understand all of the "F**k Konami" posts. ExHaseo
People can be pretty dumb and buy into a lot of "DLC" shenanigans, but I doubt many people are dumb enough to buy into this. As if people didn't hate Konami enough already.
OJ9999vr
This is ridiculous, but i wonder if you could backup your save. Let’s say you’ve got 2 USB memory sticks, you backup your save, delete it ingame, create a new one, then back that up too, delete it. Should you now have 2 saves for free, or does online mess this up? Either way it’s alot of hassle just for 2 savefiles.
Popular Post Redgrave
Somewhere, EA execs are yelling at each other for not coming up with this idea first. Congrats Konami, you've truly sunk to new lows.
One Jedi More
Isn't Konami that company that destroys every fan-game based on their most popular franchises that is highly superior to their crappy PayToWin games? Yeah...no Thank you

locutus442
In a free to play game I can understand this (may not like it, but I can understand it). In a full $60 game this is completely unacceptable.

KingGuy420
It's an online only game right? Most of those games limit the amount of saves you can have, to keep server space to a minimum, since saves are stored server side. That's nothing new. At least they're offering a way to get more. I would've killed for more character slots in Destiny. Edited February 22, 2018 by KingGuy420

Beyondthegrave07
Nintendo, this is how you could make bank from Pokemon. Multiple saves for a game. 10 bucks a piece. Too bad this isn't Pokemon and will most definitely crash and burn. Can't wait to see the day when you'll have to pay more money to save your game. At the very least limit it to three or five saves.
Nexuds121
Konami needs to suffer and a super slap in the face. Paying for additional saves? No Cigar. Konami's Company needs to be shutdown forever...period.
Undead Wolf
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm past caring now and am just enjoying the show. If they think this is going to save them in the console space, they've got another thing coming! ?

A company giving you more options makes you mad? I don't follow that logic. Every shooter, every sports games, damn near every multiplayer game in general, only gives you 1 save without an option to even delete. You wanna start fresh, you gotta make a new account. Why not get mad at all of them for not having 3-5 saves? This is definitely just a matter of "oh hey look, something to act mad about online". It's optional, no ones forcing you to create more than 1 save.

They don't need to do that, they have the Pokemon Bank which is $5 a year. $5 a year and you can move any Pokemon you want thru all the different 3DS Pokemon games. Ojama_Country
This isn't really a surprise. It's the logical conclusion of MGSV making you pay for more FOBs.
