2nd update:

I finished up the main story of MHW and that just leaves the grind trophies left and I just started into Iceborne and it looks great so far. Not much else happening with all my time going into Monster Hunter at the moment.

Final Fantasy VIII - Making excellent but slow progress, I want to do as much as I can in the game so not really getting trophies as quick.  It's probably on hold for a little while now whilst I work on Grand Kingdom.

Grand Kingdom - Actually had quite a bit of fun with this today and made some good progress, I wasn't even really focused on the trophies and was just playing the game and having fun.  Been doing a lot of the online wars as I read that's the best way to get flags, I also heard it was good for leveling but neither the flags or levels seem to be happening much.  Might use a power leveling guide I found on gamefaqs which is more reliant on doing one of the bounties for lots of experience.  Not looking forward to Skill Completionist trophy, RNG usually hates me.

Nice dedication, there’s a lot of additional stuff not required for the platinum. I’m at a point in the game where I feel like fully upgrading the Jackdaw is my next best move.. but I find ship combat to be quite aggravating. Not sure when I’ll return ?

Warning: Fallout New Vegas Spoilers Ahead. Fallout New Vegas is a really good game and I recommend playing it for yourself. If you already played the game or don't care, you can read about my experience in the spoiler tag.

I earned the Platinum & 100% on Friday, September 13, 2019. With a time of 5 days, 34 seconds, I'm currently the 13th fastest 100% achiever on PSNP.

Aurora's New Vegas Vacation; Patrolling the Mojave Almost Makes you wish for a Nuclear Winter

Spoiler

Chapter 1 - Slow Start

I was in New Vegas for work but was planning to take a vacation afterwards. Sadly, my plans were ruined because I was kidnapped, had the package I was delivering stolen, was shot in the head and buried in a shallow grave. Fortunately, a nice robot dug me up and payed a nice doctor to fix me up. I awoke in and was immediately asked to remember my name. I said Aurora 6, so that became my legal name in New Vegas & surrounding territories. I took a test on the Vig-o-matic Vigor Tester and my special stat results were: Strength 9, Perception 6, Endurance 1, Charisma 1, Intelligence 9, Agility 5 and Luck 9. After a brief mental examination with ink blots that looked like 2 bears hi-fiving, my tag skills were barter, explosives and speech. The exam also figured out that I needed glasses to see (four eyes perk) & that I was skilled but learn slower through experience (skilled perk). After that, the nice doctor gave me a bunch of stuff and told me to go see Sunny Smiles. I looted his house/office of most valuables and was on my way to see Sunny.

Sunny took me to the shooting range to learn to fight Sunset Sarsaparilla bottles. It was a very difficult fight but I managed to survive. Sunny needed help defending the town water supply from geckos so I carried the team. I was 360-no-scoping those darn geckos and saved the day like a hero. I decided to vist my own grave and found a few cigarettes on the ground I could sell. I go to the bar to try and find a buyer, when I overhear something about a guy hiding from some Powder Gangers. I vist this Ringo fellow and he teaches me the official New Vegas card game, Caravan. He even gives me the spare deck he just happened to have for free. I beat him at the Caravan and won all of his money.

I went to the Powder Ganger's HQ to see what their way of life was all about. They gave me a few boring jobs to do. While roaming around, I spotted a broken roller coaster in the distance. The rollercoaster was part of a town called Primm. The town was under siege from a rogue faction of Powder Gangers. I was able to defeat the members patrolling the street. Primm's Deputy was captured in their main base but I wasn't a high enough level to fight them along. I found a cute little robot but I needed a few spare parts to repair him/her. I was able to find the parts around Good Springs and Powder Ganger HQ, so I repair my new robot BFF. His/her name is ED-E and saved Deputy Beagle. Primm needed a new Sheriff because the old one died. I pick Meyers too be the new sheriff because he has experience but occasionally shoots a few criminals in a unlawful manner. He was in prison before the Powder Gangers took it over, so he wanted an official pardon so he wouldn't have to go back. I get him that pardon and he becomes sheriff. I also found out that the NCR (New California Republic) is sick of the Powder Gangers and is planning on eliminating their HQ. I warn the Powder Gangers but the NCR immediately shows up and starts shooting. I run away before the NCR kills me.

Chapter 2  - Lose

I decide to help Ringo defeat the Powder Gangers because the faction wasn't going to last long. I recruit the whole town to assist in the gunfight. The fight went well for our side because of my mad skillz. The town was defended and would remain free of oppression. Easy Pete gave his life for the cause. I respected his sacrifice and buried him in the grave meant for me.

I moved on from Good Springs to the Mojave Outpost. I talk to Ghost and get a job to see what that black smoke over Nipton is about. On my way to Nipton, I run into a pack of nightstalkers. I immediately nope out of the area while ED-E distracts them. ED-E is horrifically torn apart by the Nightstalkers and I'll remember his/her sacrifice. I arrived outside of Nipton and was immediately shouted at by a guy who one the lottery. I killed him and looted the ticket off his corpse. Walk into town and see pile of burning corpses, tire fires and a few people nailed to crosses. Then a group of dudes wearing sporting equipment and claiming they did this. Apparently they did this and they're part of this group called the Legion. They captured everyone in town because they're a bunch of naughty selfish degenerates and held a lottery to decide their punishments. 1st prize is living and every other prize was death. I left the Legion alone and reported the fate of the town to Ghost. She was surprised the Legion was already inside the border.

Chapter 3 - Are Dinosaurs a Pre-War Thing or a Pre-Pre-War Thing

I travelled to Novac along a long road with multiple raider ambushes. The raiders couldn't afford guns, so they tried to attack from the high ground with knifes. I saw a fight between the NCR and Legion, Legion won. I got to Novac and talked to Boone. He told me that the Legion took his wife and wanted the person responsible for arranging the deal. Well, Jeannie May Crawford was nice to me so I told her to look at the gaint dinosaur with me at night. I was trying to make a new adventuring campion but I accidentally forgot to take off Boone's beret, so Boone 1 shot, 1 killed Jennie May and I lost a potential friend. I lied to Boone about Jennie May being the one responsible for his wife and my speech stat was good enough for him to believe me. I convinced him to travel with me and I got a cool beret. I dismissed him immediately because I know he'll did horribly if we travel together.

I visted Cliff Briscoe and bought a single T-Rex Souvenir. I will treasure it forever. I 'hacked' Manny Vargas' computer to figure out where to go next. I went to boulder city and the Great Khans and NCR were having a standoff. I decide to resolve the situation with diplomacy and I didn't fail. I convinced the Great Khans to let the hostages go and give me information on who tried to kill me. I convinced the NCR not to waste their bullets on the Great Khans. Everyone was happy and nobody died.

Chapter 4 - Talk About Owned

I went to New Vegas proper to get my revenge on the guy who shot me. Getting past the front gate required to have 2000 caps on you or a passport. I was too poor and didn't want to get my picture taken so I went down to the Atomic Wrangler to gamble. I won the jackpot on the slot machines and was banned from playing games at that casino. Well, I was now rich enough to exist on the strip at least. I went to the Tops and saw the guy who shot me standing in the open, surrounded by a few bodyguards. I talked to his best friend standing at the front desk, tried to sell him some cigarettes and a fancy letter I found. He gave me all my weapons back (you can't have weapons in most casinos), sent Benny (guy who shot me) to his room alone, gives me the key to Benny's room and tells me to kill him. I do as he asks. I don't bother to chat with Benny. I shoot his gun out of his hands. I take his gun. Benny runs out of his room. I shoot him dead while he runs. The casino staff is a bit upset I killed their boss so they shoot me. I run out of the Casino.

Chapter 5 - I'm Popular

After immediately exiting the Casino, I get a message from the NCR. The message tells me that I'm pardoned from any past crimes I committed against the NCR and that they have a job that only I can do. The Legion also gives me a message saying, Caesar wanted to meet with me and any crimes I committed against the Legion are forgiven. I thought the Legion had a "no girls allowed" policy, so I was surprised by the offer. I'll consider all my options and decide later.

I decide to gamble at the other casinos on the strip. I kept winning on the blackjack tables, so I got banned from them. I went back to the slums and decided to work for the Kings. I mostly did various odd jobs until the Kings and NCR got into a gunfight. The NCR didn't want to talk it out, so I had to take them out.

Manny Vargas asked me to get rid of the ghouls at the Repconn test site. I shot all the feral ghouls on my way into the building. I killed a few more on the way to the safety of the upstairs rooms. There was an angry bald guy and a cult of ghouls hiding up there. They were attacked by invisible demons while working on their rocket ships and they want them gone. I go down to the basement and find a bunch of Nightkin. I eliminate every living thing in the basement. The cult is happy but they also need me to gather more parts. I do that and then they leave in their rockets.

Chapter 6 - Take Drugs, Kill Bear.

The Happy Trails Caravan Company hired me for a expedition to Zion because I had a map. We went on a long journey where nothing interesting happened. There was a campfire story about one of Caesar's old legates. He failed to take Hoover Dam, so he was covered in pitch, set on fire and thrown into the Grand Canyon. He supposedly survived that encounter. Anyway, the caravan gets to Zion and everyone (except myself) is killed by savage tribals in a surprise attack coming from above. I push on after mourning my dead friends and meet a new friend. His name is Follows-Chalk and he tells me to vist his leader. I walk through a river of bear traps and met Joshua Graham. He was expecting another courier but he's happy to see me because he needs me to gather a bunch of items and give him to his friend Daniel on the other side of the valley. He would do it himself but he has too many 45's to repair.

While gather the items, I see Joshua going on a nice walk. We do not speak and go about our separate business. I give the things to Daniel and tells me to gather more things and kill some stuff. I also visted a shaman. He gave me a bunch of drugs and then I went on to kill a flaming ghost bear.

After doing Daniel's list of tasks, I was given the choice of slaughtering the jerks who tried to kill me or running away. I chose to fight but Daniel was disappointed. Joshua was very excited so we slaughtered the White Legs. Everyone benefited positively (except the White Legs but they're jerks) and Daniel was sad.

Chapter 7 - We Are Still Upset

I went back to the Tops to see if they calmed down and forgiven me for killing their boss. They were still mad at me and shot me on sight. I used a Steath Boy so they couldn't see me while I won at the Blackjack. They still banned me from the casino when I won too much money.

The King's Robot Dog, Rex, was sick because of brain problems. I had to take him to Jacobstown for surgery. Jacobstown is a town of peaceful supermuntants and nightkin. I have the doctor fix Rex's brain by giving him the other dog brain I happened to find while I was doing some bounty hunting. I also help out around Jacobstown and kill a entire cave of nightstalkers, for ED-E.

Chapter 8 - Miracles of Science

I found a crashed satellite and decided to poke it with a stick. I activated a security system and was knock out. I wake up in a unfamiliar place and my head really hurts. I talk to a bunch of robots but they have human brains. They removed my brain, heart & spine, while replacing my body parts with advanced technology. They lost my brain but Doctor Mobius has it. Doctor Mobius lives in the forbidden zone, the forbidden zone is forbidden but I can enter once I gather 3 items.

I decided to get the Stealth Suit Mk II first. The Stealth Suit MK II quickly became my preferred armour. It will automatically use stimpacks when I'm injured, improves my ability to sneak, increases my perception and agility, and talks. It will always telling me when my Pip-Boy light is on and will startle me occasionally by saying that I'm in combat when I'm not. Mean robot bugs. Mean Robot bugs ambushed me when I obtain my new BFF. Doctor Mobius has a army of robo-scorpions that I need to watch out for.

I collected the other two objects and explored the area. I notice strange marking everywhere but I didn't figure out what they mean. I also killed a gaint robot dog, felt my karma become max evil, and escaped before its atomic core exploded. I infiltrated the forbidden zone and fought a gaint robo-scorpion with a missile launcher. It took a while but I won. I confronted Doctor Mobius and it was a pleasant experience. He was just a old man (well robot brain thing) just doing science things.

I found my brain in a jar. It didn't want to go back in my head because I constantly get hurt and go on dangerous adventures. After a long argument, I convinced my brain to work with me. I decided to turn on the group of first robots who removed my brain because Doctor Mobius is the hero. I convince the others that Doctor Mobius' brain was in my head so they stopped doing bad science experiments.

Chapter 9 - Letting Go

After investigating a mysterious radio signal, I get knocked out and wake up in a strange place. I have a explosive collar around my neck and all my stuff was taken. A hologram appears over the fountain, tells me to gather 3 other companions. I went to get Dog first but he was stuck in a jail cell. I figured out that standing close to a active radio for too long, will cause my collar to explode. I find a holotape that I'm suppose to play to free Dog. I play the tape but Dog turns to God (multiple personality syndrome?) and God doesn't want to get out. It took a lot of convincing, but I got God to let himself out and work with me.

I find Dean Domino and sit down with him. My chair is a bomb but Dean is willing to cooperate with me, with no convincing on my part. We stick together and rescue Christine. Christine doesn't talk but she runs to the fountain where we all meet up. Evil hologram man tells us too work together and rob the Sierra Madre Casino. We have to activate the 'grand opening sequence' because the front door won't open until you do that.

I have to lead everyone to their positions but everyone complains because they're not safe from the ghost people or something. God wants me to give him food, so I get him food. Dean wants me to activate hologram security. It was very annoying to activate them but I did it. Christine didn't want to go in the scary elevator, so I hacked a computer and did computer stuff, so she didn't have to do that. My role to play was to press the start button on the opening. It was on the other side of town. I press the button and there is a bunch of fireworks and stuff but the ghost people are upset because they were trying to nap. I run past them and enter the Sierra Madre.

The other crew members are messing about so I have to fix the casino myself. After I fix the casino, I play Backjack until I get banned again. I decide to help God but he's having a mental fight with Dog. I help by talking to them and synthesizing the personalities together. Dog+God forget who I am and left. Dean was being held prisoner on stage by the hologram audience, so help him by navigating the radio gauntlet and playing a old recording of Dean singing. He is grateful that I saved him. I found Christine upstairs and she learned to talk. She had been hunting the evil hologram man for years and wanted to kill him but I convinced her to let me handle it because I'm the protagonist.

I take the elevator down to the vault, run through another radio gauntlet and grab as much gold as I can carry. I persuade the evil hologram man to come down and fight me. I decide to sneak around the back, take the elevator when he isn't looking and trap him down there forever.

Final - Histoire

It is time to walk the road. I brought my best guns and Stealth Suit MK II. I pass through the canyon wreckage and enter the Hopevile Missle Silo. I'm reunited with ED-E, my love. I need him/her to open the path ahead. I fight my way through the Sentry Bots and exit the silo. ED-E starts talking in a deep male voice. I didn't know ED-E could speak English and I know he is a he now. Well, actually, it's just Ulysses using ED-E as a speaker to talk to me from his base at the end of the road. Ulysses says some vague crap I didn't understand, tells me I can go home at anytime and to find a laser detonator, to set off the warheads scattered across the road.

I sneak around and pick off the ghoulish NCR & Legion residents that call this place home. NCR & Legion working together? Pain makes for strange allies. I sneak my way to the laser detonator. A group of 'marked men'  ambush me when I pick it up. I have the high ground and got lucky with crits, so I survive. I clear the road of rubble.

I enter the tunnel and see a deathclaw but it runs away. I later see a dead deathclaw and a unknown creature running by. I soon find out that creature is called a tunneler and they like to attack in packs. I used my riot shotgun to handle them and reach the end.

I reach the Highroad and investigate the inside of a RV. A deathclaw jumps on the roof but the amount of rare ammunition inside was worth the risk. I sneak out and try to put as much distance between myself and the deathclaw as possible. The second it sees me, I fire my 25mm grenade as much as possible until I killed it. The rest of the road was swarming with deathclaws but I slowly sniped them. I reach the end of the road and launch a nuke.

I enter the Ashton missle silo and take the MGS1 platform elevator down while tunnelers jump on and try to kill me. I escape the exploding mess of a missle silo and Ulysses scolds via ED-E for me for launching a nuke. He's all, "You didn't have to do that and you could have just gone home." This guilt tactic didn't work because I'm a heartless monster and I needed to do that for trophies.

After more walking and flash banging my way though the Cave of the Abaddon, Ulysses remotely hacks ED-E and has him fly to his temple. It just me and Stealth Suit MK II for the last leg. I enter a cave when the entrance collapses. I hear the roar of a deathclaw. I see a warhead near the approximate location of the deathclaw, so I detonate it. I don't kill it but it's probably very ruined. I take all the drugs, use a Stealth-Boy and attempt a sneak attack. My plan fails when I accidentally shoot my gun at the floor. The deathclaw notices me and I'm probably dead, just not yet. This deathclaw wasn't a ordinary deathclaw, it was Rawr. I have no idea who Rawr is but baddies with names are all ways stronger. The warhead detonation barely grazed him. I used V.A.T.S (Vault-Tec assisted targeting system) and aimed two head shots in with the Medicine Stick. My first shot hit and was a critical, taking out half of Rawr's HP; the second shot missed. I kept calm and remembered the training Sunny Smiles gave me. I manually aimed for Rawr's head, connected the shot, it was another critical and Rawr was dead.

I reached Ulysses' temple and freed ED-E from his/prison. We went to face Ulysses as a team. After a brief chat, Ulysses and I engaged in combat. I had ED-E, he had his own group of eyebots. Ulysses had perfect S.P.E.C.I.A.L and 1,000 HP; Aurora had a plastic T-Rex, all the drugs and a box of Dandy Boy Apples. The fight last only 60 seconds. I targeted Ulysses' eyebots before dealing with him. I was able to deal heavy damage to Ulysses so be backed off. I took a moment to detonate all the warheads in the room. I pulled out my 40mm grenade launcher and hunted Ulysses down. I my dedicated shot to Easy Pete and dealt the killing blow to Ulysses. Marked Men were pouring into the room, I felt flipping invincible a killed them like a boss.

Ulysses was planning on launching a nuke or several. I couldn't disarm the nukes but I choose their target. ED-E was able to disable the nukes but attempting to crack pre-war military encryption would fry his/her circuits to death. ED-E was very determined to stop the launch so I didn't stop them. I watched ED-E sacrifice themselves to prevent another nuclear winter in the Mojave. Goodbye, again, my love.

Motivation... please give it to me!! As much as I love this game, I am so done playing the Last of Us. And I still have a full playthrough to go after I finish this one. Why on earth do I care for milestones... ugh. Anyway no real progress, working my way through my 2nd playthrough, trying to skip the hotel and financial district with a glitch. Can’t get it to work and at this point I’ve probably spent more time on trying to get the glitch to work than I would have just going through the areas. Oh well I’ll try again on my survivor+ run

1. Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3 (Releases 10/22/19) (0 out of probably 53 trophies)

2. 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡 Evolution (Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki Evolution) (0 out of 57 trophies)

3. Omega Quintet (10%) (7 out of 55 trophies)

4. Asdivine Menace :platinum:

5. Bonds of the Skies :platinum:

6. Sephirothic Stories :platinum:

7. Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God (0 out of 50 trophies)

8. 英雄伝説 零の軌跡 Evolution (Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Evolution) (57%) (32 out of 49 trophies)

9. Murdered: Soul Suspect (0 out of 49 trophies)

10. Monochrome Order (Release TBA) (0 out of 36 trophies)

86 out of 396 trophies earned so far, 3 out of 10 games completed.

Finished up the low level run for Zero no Kiseki and wiped out that beat the game at level 40 or lower on normal or higher difficulty trophy.  That's actually deemed one of the hardest in the game, especially if you try to do it on your first run.  It's not easy on a second run, but being able to carry over equipment sure helps.  Also had to try and do it as quickly as I could since I wasn't able to carry over notebook data, so it was pointless for me to use the clear data.  Attempting to speed run the game had me finish it in about 20 hours.  Anyone who has played the Cold Steel games should be glad those games didn't have the beat at or below a certain level trophies that the Evolution games have (though from my quick scan of Ao's trophy list, Zero will be the last one of those I need to do, yay!).  Went ahead and started the nightmare run and will just see if I can keep up the momentum or if I'll need a break.

I get that. When I first platted the game (old account, need to do it again (yay)) I had to give myself about a months space in between playthroughs to avoid burnout. If you're getting frustrated I'd recommend working on some other games in the meantime and come back fresh. Or just mute the game, throw on some music and power through.

All the best mate.

Ultimate difficulty was a bit of a pushover till Act III, when the game introduces enemies that can remove half your health with one shot. I've since started on The Heist and will work through it and the other dlc's over the next few days. I should have my first 100% soon.

I'm slowly making progress in Dark Souls. I just beat the Gaping Dragon, albeit with help from Solaire and Lautrec (I know, I'm a wee babby bitch), or should I say one of them beat it while I was arse over heels in the mud trying to locate my dignity. I'm currently grinding souls to fully upgrade my pyromancy flame (at the recommendation of the wonderfully helpful guide on this site) and I'll eventually head down into Blight-town.

As for the rest, there's not been much progress. I finished another beat school level in Sound Shapes because having 4/5 in that particular dlc was making me a bit antsy.  I've largely neglected Horizon Chase Turbo, but I have completed a couple of races in the meanwhile.

After I 100% Spider-Man I'll dive into Mass Effect. I started a playthrough back in May before buggering off to do something else. I should be able to knock out most trophies in that first playthrough. I'll come back for the other 2 or 3 (knowing me, probably 3) playthroughs a bit later.

That's me for this week. Have fun folks. I look foward to reading your updates.

I wish I could but I’ve counted my trophies and I need this done so that the platinum is my #10000 trophy.

Theres no room for earning any other trophies. I’m at 9987 Just have to get the remaining 12 and the plat...

I’m really trying to power through but I just can’t keep myself happy doing so. So I take 2 day breaks after 2hrs of playing xD

The music sounds like an option for my last run though.

Ah, I see. Fair enough. Yeah, music is pretty good. Something for your brain to pay attention to that isn't how frustrated you are. I do it when grinding out online trophies, but the concept can consistently be applied across the board.

Update!

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (PS3)-55=>60%

Afrika

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Dragon Age: Origins-33%

Dragon Quest Builders 2

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope

MySims SkyHeroes-7%
Red Dead Redemption II-34%
Yakuza 0

Finished upgrading my ship, worked on the story. Not much else to tell right now. Getting some of the optional objectives in the last two sequences have been a bitch. I should pop Cartographer when I start the last mission of Sequence 10, but have something else planned first. However, bust day tomorrow, so not 100% sure how that'll go.

Going into the third week, here's what I've done so far.

Brave: 0%
Chroma Squad: 0%
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition: 0%
Degrees of Separation: 0%➡️100%✅
Detroit: Become Human: 0%
Fear Effect Sedna: 0%➡️100%:platinum:
Iconoclasts: 0%
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (PS3): 0%

Minecraft: Story Mode (PS4) 0%➡️100%:platinum:
Murdered: Soul Suspect (PS4): 0%
Okage: Shadow King: 0%
Outlast 2: 0%
The Witness: 0%

Degrees of Separation was a nice diversion. A fun short puzzle game that reminded me of Unravel Two.

Fear Effect Sedna was one of those games I kept seeing on sale on the PSN store and wanted to try it out but didn't due to not really liking how the first two games looked. After finishing up this one and enjoying it for the most part, I might give the remake a shot whenever it comes out.

Minecraft Story Mode has the strengths and weaknesses of a normal Telltale game. Good story for the most part and kinda works as a Mincraft game, but limps along in the middle (about episode 5), most of the characters annoyed me, and most of the magic is lost after you realize none of your choices really matter. Other then that, my biggest gripe is with the faces of nearly everyone.

Going to play Assassin's Creed Chronicles for now and then probably come back to either Murdered or Detroit and save Birth by Sleep for my my 75th Platinum.

I might try adding a non-plat to this list once I get stuff done, but I don't know what to play. The only 100% non-plats I played other than Doodle God and Doodle Devil are The Song of the Deep and A Boy and His Blob, so don't recommend those. I also played Pocket RPG for the Vita, okay game for the most past but very frustrating. I'd like to try something new as long as it's not dark or gory and not too frustrating.
