This is a game I've kind of been on and off with since April, tried picking it up 3 times before and just couldn't get into however it seemed to click with me this time - I may even end up getting Revenant Dogma now. Some of the later dungeons were a little bit of a pain, especially trying to find the 1 treasure chest I missed The story wasn't too bad either once I got into it a bit more. Definitely glad that I went back to it, and it might encourage me to go back to a couple of other games that have been hanging around on my list for a while (mainly looking at Dragon Quest Heroes and Trine: Enchanted Edition) If I get time after I finish the games I have left on my list, I may add one of these on.
Popular Post EPICRAGE
MIDDLE OF DECEMBER UPDATE: So after 94 hours and 15 minutes I finally finished Death Stranding. I thought the game was great and really enjoyed the unique gameplay. The only downside was that it took me away from my backlog and really halted my progress. I’ve also been extremely busy with work so I didn’t have much time for gaming. As soon as I got the platinum trophy I immediately jumped back into my backlog and raced through Dead Synchronicity. I reordered the games in my list a little bit and Blood & Truth came out with a third DLC dropping my completion to 88%. I’ll make sure I finish those up later but up next is The Walking Dead: The Final Season. I’m back baby!!! 1. Astro Bot: Rescue Mission - 2. Vacation Simulator - 3. Just in Time Inc. - 4. Popular Post freddie1989
Quick one today. Finished story mode on MK X as well as most of the DLC so a bit of progress on that one. Made a start on The Surge last night and all I can say is so far it is a steep learning curve. I got the impression I was cruising then I just got mauled to death several times. The block function seems to still take damage so isn't worth using so far but slowly getting there. Anyone played it? I can't say that I have, I did look at it and wasn't it free with plus couple months ago? If I remember right it's kind of a Souls game? Little to no real trophy progress on my side (3 in total). I've been distracted by Strange Brigade mostly when I play (should've put it on my list). I think I'll be able to finish it these next couple of days. I did make some decent progress in the story of Riptide GP: Renegade, earning a couple trophies on the way. I don't know what it is but the difficulty of this game has increased a lot since the previous installment, which you could just cruise through. FUN FACT: PC players and XBOX players whined so hard that this game was too difficult, the Devs actually patched a difficulty setting into the game. That option does not exist in the PS4 version, so I'm stuck with the rubberbanding AI having to deal with unfairness and what not I really should start working on either of the God of War games. They will take me a lot of time as I'm not a big fan of the series (I know, I know...) Unfortunately the latest God of War can't seem to pull me into the story and make me just fly through it. Maybe I should just start working on Until Dawn already... Here's the score so far Riptide GP: Renegade - 46% (16/25) (PS4) God of War Ascension - 21% (13/36) (PS3) Until Dawn - 14% (4/19) (PS4) God of War - 11% (8/37) (PS4) Rocksmith 2014 - 22% (15/48) (PS4) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - 98% (27/28) (PS4) Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 91% (87/100) (PS4) The Last of Us - 79%(39/50) (PS3) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hunting Simulator - 100% (31/31) (PS4) Mortal Kombat 11 - 100% (59/59) Happy Hunting Everyone!

Literally if you are fighting an enemy a 2nd one can leap in and take you out in 1 hit. I will say though that so far I am really enjoying it and I would recommend even off the small amount I have done.

I woke up today to find that my PS4 hard drive had corrupted overnight somehow, and after trying what I could, I couldn't fix it. I happened to have a spare hard drive laying around and popped it in, so the PS4 is working fine again, but all my save data is gone. It's a shame I didn't have the auto-upload to the cloud turned on (it's sure turned on now), because I'm pretty certain I can't get anything off that corrupted drive myself. Anyway, I don't particularly feel like making my way through everything on this list, or everything I had progress in outside of this event again, so I'm thinking I'll just make a new account and start fresh (A new account strictly for trophy hunting, and I'll use my current for recreational play). Call it OCD I guess, but having unfinished items on my trophy list from games that I'm to disheartened to restart from the beginning is going to bother me. Below is my final update, and I managed to finish one game and make some progress in a couple others. Also I published a Ghost Recon Breakpoint trophy guide, so hopefully that helps a few people out. Best of luck to everyone else still in the event, and if you have PS plus I'd strongly recommend turning that cloud feature on. Reveal hidden contents 1. (PS4) The American Dream - 100% 2. There's not anything going on yet, but I'll start trophy hunting again soon enough I imagine. I'll be using the new account to write any guides in the future, and I'm considering uploading youtube videos for individual trophies (which I've been thinking about doing for a while, but wanted a more apt name first). Ouch, that sucks. Well, hope to see you in the spring challenge. Signups will be live in early February. On an unrelated note, hoping to plat Mad Dash by Christmas. I had hoped to sooner, but illness, lack of motivation, and just being super busy has slowed me down. Asdivine Hearts is pretty good as well. I honestly liked the whole Asdivine series, but my favorites were Asdivine Hearts, Asdivine Menace and Asdivine Kamura. Outside of the Asdivine series my favorites were Illusion of L'Phalcia, Alvastia Chronicles and Fernz Gate. Asdivine Menace and Kamura are still pretty new, so it's probably still going to be a few months before they go on sale. As far as the Asdivine series goes, you can play either Asdivine Hearts or Asdivine Dios first and since you already own Asdivine Hearts may as well start there. Menace is a sequel to Dios and Kamura stands alone. There are also same games by the same publisher but a different dev that I loved. Legend of the Tetrarchs and Monochrome Order were really good. Monochrome Order is the only one that needs multiple playthroughs because there are multiple routes depending on your choices and you'll need to get all endings for the plat, but it's still a reasonable plat. I finished those up so quickly because I enjoyed them enough to play for hours on end. These two were definitely my overall favorite Kemco titles. Overall, the ones I mentioned as favorites were to me good enough that even if they aren't on sale, they're worth buying. In fact I loved Legend of the Tetrarchs and Monochrome Order enough that I'm considering double dipping and getting the PC versions too. Everything else is fun and enjoyable but probably better to wait for some sort of a sale even if it's like just 30% off. I'd only recommend avoiding Frane: Dragon's Odyssey because it is downright terrible and I couldn't delete it fast enough. Everything else has enough to enjoy that you'll have fun for the 10-20 hours it takes to get the plat even if it's not one of the better games.

Thanks, that's an incredible amount of information and recommendations I believe Alvastia Chronicles is on sale at the moment so I'll grab it up; I didn't even realize that Legend of Tetrarchs and Monochrome Order were published by Kemco, it doesn't seem they have been talked about as much on the forums. I'll definitely check them out considering you highly recommended them both. Have you played Marenian Tavern Story? I know it's a different developer but still published by Kemco and it's definitely one people often forget about since it's not the normal fare. It's supposed to be longer, like I've heard probably around 50 hours to plat. I've heard it's more like games like Harvest Moon and Ateiler but have definitely heard good things. I have yet to see it on sale, but for its length it sounded worth the price. Honestly I have no issue buying any of them without a sale because $15 is very fair for a 10-20 hour long game. And yeah, for some reason almost no one seems to talk about the Hit Point Kemco games (Monochrome Order, Legend of the Tetrarchs, Bonds of the Skies and Chronus Arc), but they are all pretty solid with Legend of the Tetrarchs and Monochrome Order being the best. Thing is, they are also pretty new still and don't have many people who own them still which is sad because they are such good games. Monochrome Order definitely tried some interesting things and I think it worked very well and even despite the multiple playthroughs being needed it was only about 20 hours because you'll finish up subsequent playthroughs quickly. Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Second update of the week (and it's not even Sunday): Bound By Flame [PS3] - 100% Eat Them! Woot! Time to pig out on EVERYTHING. Food, TV, Games, etc. I'll do like the Tesla song goes... Lazy Days, Crazy Nights. Bad news is the analog stick on my Vita has completely crapped out and I can't continue Wanted Corp. Even if I don't use the right stick to aim I could still shoot in the direction I was going so that worked so far. However it is now completely "ghosting" in one direction and I can't use any of the other directions which means I'm always aiming one way and on top of that there are a couple of parts where I have to wiggle the stick to escape a grasp or defeat the enemy that I can't do anymore. I took apart my Vita tonight and removed the bad stick. The new one should arrive tomorrow then I can reassemble it. Hopefully everything will work after that. Until then I might have to find something else to play.
Popular Post StilRh
Weekend update: I drilled deep into Throne Breaker, really enjoying it so far. Thankful there are some good guides - again, not wanting to play a 40+ hour game with missables in case I'd have to repeat. I'm pretty busy with work and family stuff up until the 28th but I'll try and dip into Throne Breaker and Vita titles some more when I have a little downtime. Tempted by some of the Christmas/January sales but I want to clear some more back log before getting any more games. Hope everyone is having an excellent Christmas/cultural equivalent. After that I had a craving to play the first game again, but I'd sold the Vita version some time back when I was broke. So I decided to buy the PS4 version since it's not badly priced and I'd get a new trophy set to plat as a bonus. Otherwise not much update, was trying to also wrap up a game I can't add for this since it was over 40% before this event.

Enjoyable game, terrible port. It likes to hard crash fairly often when autosaving, and that can corrupt the "across playthroughs" part of your progress. Probably Mana or Dragon Quest next, but it may take a bit to get to them.

Untitled Goose Game - 12/22/2019 Swaps used: 4/5 Drops used: 0/2 Finished Untitled Goose Game today and it was everything I had hoped it would be I'd only really seen the gardens area and a little bit of the high street on YouTube videos, so the rest of it remained a surprise for me and I enjoyed figuring out how to complete the "to do" lists, I think back gardens area is my favorite. My poor husband looked on as I laughed like a maniac being a naughty goose to anyone who got in my way - mainly the boy in the high streets though, he was fun to torment. I was a little worried when I saw the speed run trophies as I hate playing anything with time pressure, but they actually added a fun element to the game and none of them were too difficult, in most cases just repetition and getting the Ai in a good pattern. I think the pub area ended up the worst for me just due to the Ai although for some reason I had some problems with the garden speed run as well. Overall though, had such a fun time with this and I'm glad it came to PS4 and I got to play it

Made some small progress in Sly, reaching the third episode whilst picking up a few miscellaneous trophies along the way. I also returned to Wipeout having previously done the online trophies a couple of months back. I completed the 2048 campaign, albeit with a few passes instead of elite passes. The games challenging but fun, although I'm not quite sure how I feel about the control scheme just yet. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Didn't end up buying a new disc after all, the game just decided to work for me until the end. Revengeance mode was mostly a joke because of how overpowered the Fox Blade truly is. The fights I was worried about became child's play because the sword literally two shots almost every enemy making 90% of the fights routine. The most challenging fight for me was Sam's boss fight. It was annoying having to pick up the two crates in order to get enough BP, as a lot of the times Sam would do an attack where he literally teleports to you and I couldn't for the life of me block it. It was also somewhat AI reliant as he does an attack which is easy to perfect parry, and this is essential to deal significant damage as well as to skip segments of the fight. Monsoon took quite a few attempts as well, but I was more comfortable with him as I had practiced no damage runs on him on the previous two difficulties. Armstrong's third phase took a bit of getting used to as well, but eventually I managed a run where I got two perfect parry's as well as lucky timing with his healing ability. Mistral and Sundowner were easy and both I got on my first attempt. Proud of this platinum, and I plan on returning to it to finish off it's DLC soon. God of War - Decided to play this as it's leaving PS Now soon. I thought the game was pretty good, not my favourite entry of the series though. This is without doubt the best looking game I have ever played. Entering Alfheim for the first time was literally breathtakingly beautiful, and so too was the first time visiting the mountain-tops. Never having to sit through a loading screen was an absolute pleasure as well. I played it on performance mode (favouring frames) and disabled motion blur entirely. The game runs like shit on resolution mode, with really noticeable input lag and a very stiff camera. The story was pretty good and had one or two stand out moments (one chilling throwback to the previous games), but my biggest issue came from the lack of variety with the enemies you face as well as the simply terrible 'boss' battles. This game had so many opportunities to throw in a badass fight to complement the surrounding realm you find yourself in, but instead they opted to repeat the same fight you've already done five times already except this time the dude is a different colour and has slightly altered attack scheme. It just felt lazy and ruined what could have been some very memorable moments throughout the journey. Funnily enough the most engaging/interesting fights in the game are entirely optional which is a shame in itself. I also found the soundtrack to be rather unremarkable, with maybe one or two stand out tracks. Overall though I really enjoyed my journey and I'm excited for it's sequel. GoW III remains my favourite (I must replay I and II as I don't remember them all too well). The Escapists: The Walking Dead - When I last played this I stopped because I ran into the Woodbury glitch. To bypass this I had to buy a physical copy instead (€12 -.-) and play it without installing the patch. It's a decent game with an interesting play style, one that shouldn't be rushed and which focuses on looting and crafting in order to escape each level. It also has some great background tracks to keep you invested as the days pass by in-game. The daily routine can become a little tedious at times, and gaining strength/intelligence can be quite a chore as well. I've never watched the series either so I had no knowledge of the characters or the events that were taking place. I still have the DLC to finish off, which I should get done within the next few days.

Spoiler I'm finally getting solid forward momentum on my writing/music so I've been focusing on that over gaming. I find it more fulfilling as well. I finally finished up the platinum on LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. Nothing too difficult but the endgame collectible grind had some... moments. Those escort missions are the absolute worst because the AI are programmed to act like brain dead idiots. They'll either get stuck on something or fall behind, give up and force you to go back and remind them of what they're supposed to be doing. The last race I needed was waaay off west, so far that only a psychopath would have found it without a map. Other that that I had a lot of fun with the game; looking forward to new horizons though. I've decided to use my last swap (yes I know how inconsistent my list has been) to replace Mass Effect with God of War. It was around last year that my best friend lent me God of War (2018) to play and I enjoyed it immensely, so I've bought all the games and really want to get started on going through them all. Also the 4 playthroughs necessary to platinum Mass Effect have put me off of starting it in the near future; I don't want to get burned out. Actually now that I think of it I might as well use my drops as well. I'm not going to beat this challenge unless I dedicate 20 hours a day to gaming (not happening) so it doesn't really matter. See ya later Knights of Pen and Paper and Call of Cthulhu! I'll probably run through What Remains of Edith Finch some time before the new year as it's pretty straightforward. I should be able to finish up Slayaway Camp soon (it's been mocking me sitting there) and eventually I'll finish up the campaign of Sound Shapes. Righto, that'll be me for now. Happy Christmas/Yuletide/Whatever other celebrations exist (I don't go outside much)! I'll probably drop in again in the new year. Popular Post freddie1989
One final pre Xmas update from me. The Surge is kicking my arse all over the place, can't for the life of me beat the 1st boss so might need to do a bit of farming and try and strengthen a touch. Played a bit more of Zombi, which is complete dross, hopefully an hour here and there will get that finished. MK X is finally past 50%, finished up the DLC and did a few other miscellaneous ones. Made a start on the living towers grind along with making sure I have x-ray and fatalities along the way for all characters so progress being made slowly. Anyway Merry Xmas to all, enjoy it, get wrecked or whatever and spend time with all the ones that are important and I will catch up with all of you in the New Year!! Popular Post Together_Comic
Update 14 Titanfall 2 Titanfall 2 Date Started: 12/17/2019 Trophies when Event Started: 0/51 - 0% --> 6/51 - 8% Didn't really get a lot of time to game this week with it being close to the holidays and having a lot of family stuff to do in addition to work, but I did find a few hours to play some of this game. I must admit, shooters aren't typically my thing in particular FPS games, but I actually had a lot of fun with this one. In fact, I had enough fun with the game to play more than the one required multiplayer match which is really saying something. As far as the campaign goes, I haven't really done much other than the tutorial. It took me around 2 hours to get the "Becomes the Master..." trophy. I will say that I have a lot of fun just moving the characters. If the rest of the game is as fast paced as the tutorial implies than I think I am going to have a good time. I have used my final drop to postpone Alice Madness Return. Winter is a chill mood for me and somehow Alice won't do, this is a spring game for me. Also I don't have anything I truly wish to start these months(especially since January/February will be busy as heck) so... I believe after I finish DmC I will have "reached the finish line" with the intended event (not promising though, if I am in mood I might cancel a drop).
