Hayabusa85 Posted November 16, 2020 Share Posted November 16, 2020 EA Tiburon have really been using the pandemic as an excuse a lot with Madden while EA Vancouver have been operating pretty normal with FIFA and NHL so even something as basic as the game icon is more linked to that. They even went three or four months not even releasing new cards in Madden 20 which is as basic as they could get doing stuff from home. Honestly at this point I'm not going to be surprised if the PS5 version of Madden 21 is just a direct port of the PS4 version which could be why we have started to see them release FIFA screens but nothing with Madden. To enjoy those games you really need to be into sports. I got friends who buy those (and only those) games every year and yes, there are reasons to get upgraded versions due to changes (at least for them). Yeah, my uncle is the same he bought FIFA 10, (for some reason he didn't buy 11 and 12), FIFA 13, FIFA 14, FIFA 15, ( he didn't buy 16 for some reason), FIFA 17, FIFA 18, FIFA 19, FIFA 20 and FIFA 21.
