Yeah like I said, a guy I knew on these forums before he left told me AoF Anthology was the hardest fighting platinum he earned, and he did Injustice, Super Street Fighter IV, Mortal Kombat 2011, and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 among other hard fighting games.

Aside from having to actually stick around for online wins (there was an idle grind method that got patched out), this was pretty much just surrendering my PS4 and PS5 for a day and a half to let the 500 online games run. Took care of all of the word grind years ago. Still, pretty good game for URs if you have two PS4s or a willing friend seeing as it's got like 10 or so URs and the word grinds are pretty simple using the Word Hunt mode or whatever it's called to show you all the words.

 

Tier 2 Pending. Will probably have it posted by the end of today or tomorrow.

Well, I had a list ready to go but completely forogt to put it here. Here it goes, I will probably regret some games but since it's for a good cause I will power through them. It also helps cleaning the backlog and trying new things.

It took us 4 months but we finally did it... @Mori, @Arcesius, @Floriiss and me got the 100% in Warhammer: Vermintide 2 together making this my 3rd completion in Tier 1.

By far the hardest part in this was the dlc trophy for finishing 80 weaves. This alone probably took us anywhere between 120-150 hours while the rest of the game seemed mostly like a breeze after getting it done.

While very frustrating at times (when we would get stuck on 1 weave for 5+ hours), it felt so well earned and rewarding every time the "Victory" screen would finally pop after working out the best strategy for the weave try after try.

One of the best, most enjoyable co-op experiences out there, if you have a competent and determined team. Can't wait to play Vermintide 1 soon.

Hats off to you and your team on this one, I still remember the horrors of weaves and how relieved my group was after finally finishing it. V1 is great fun but will feel like quite the downgrade compared to the second game and while it still provides a challenge, it's nowhere near V2.

I am happy and sad at the same time that it is over. Warhammer V2 was the biggest surprise in COOP gaming I've ever had and I enjoyed every second of it, even suffering through the weaves. The game looked fairly simple in the beginning, just smash the enemies and reach the end. When we eventually played the first missions on Legend (second hardest difficulty) the realization kicked in that this will be far more challenging than expected. Looking back at how bad I played in the beginning and how far I've come in terms of skill in the game is just astonishing, even in the last few weeks I still learned new things about the game. The community in Vermintide 2 in general is very welcoming and supportive, at least from what I can tell. I highly recommend to anyone who has a dedicated team and wants an immensely satisfying First-Person-Combat game.

 

I am going to miss the COOP sessions. I'll probably play a few missions on Cata (highest difficulty) in the future, but it wont be the same with my team, @Arcesius, @Floriiss, and @Koro249. Also thanks to @Darkette our most loyal viewer, who supported us with tips and tricks. ?

Yeah I know the feeling.. We had @Darkette follow most of our progress (Floris would stream our sessions) and from what he told us, Season 1 was even more brutal ?. 

 

Looking forward to V1 and hopefully the Chaos Wastes DLC on V2 though... and Darktide will hopefully release at some point for PS as well

As for my own impressions.. I cannot add much more than what @Mori and @Koro249 have already said about this game. It is, without a doubt and without exaggeration, the best coop game I have ever played. I even had my doubts if I wanted to play this one, as judging from gameplay it's really difficult to tell what's going on. After the first session, it was already clear that this game was unlike anything I knew. 

 

The gameplay is incredibly satisfying, and after spending also time learning about the making of this game, the mechanics, etc, it seems like most gameplay elements are implemented to "feel good". And boy does slaying in this game feel good... 

 

Anyways, the learning curve is pretty steep, and as Mori already mentioned, when we switched to Legend initially, being the rookies that we were back then, we didn't really stand a chance. In contrast to the easiest difficulty setting, we would now get one-shot by overhead attacks, or take way too much chip-damage from hordes, or just get wiped by disablers, etc... But after going through the increasingly more difficult weave mode, after learning how to properly position yourself, how to survive in most situations, when to take risks, etc... we can now even finish maps on Legend with bots and without really thinking too much (of course some runs are still lost.. spawns are random and you can find yourself in an overwhelming situation at times). 

 

This is not a game for everyone, I don't think. But if you have a group that you know can deal with frustrating situations (and there will be frustration when going for 100%...), that you know will have the endurance to see this through... go for it. 

 

I, for one, cannot bring myself to delete this game from my PS4... ?

This sounds like a lot of fun, and for a great cause nonetheless! I'd like to join in too if that's okay. I've been hunting URs quite a bit lately, so this is right up my alley! Quick question tho @Copanele, if the game doesn't have a single UR trophy period, but the 100% for dlc falls into UR territory, is that able to be chosen? The example I am thinking of is Bioshock Remastered on PS4. The plat rarity is ~14%, however for the full 100% it's 4.07%, technically making it UR territory. If not then I will need to choose something else in it's place!

Nope, your list must have one unearned UR trophy. Bioshock doesn't have any UR trophies if I remember correctly.

I selected this rule because of games like Skyrim : super easy but the DLC drags the rarity down because not everybody buys the DLCs

Alright, sounds fair to me anyway!! I have the rest of my list but need to rethink this one; I'll report back once I have done so with the final decisions!!

I've never met anyone who rated Vermintide 2 as anything less than excellent. It really is a gem. When starting it I was expecting a generic co-op experience that I wouldn't care to see the back of, instead it was one of the best co-op games i've ever played. As others have eluded to, it's also a game where you get a very rewarding sense of satisfaction as you progress, especially through the weaves. If you've got a 4 man group at hand then play this.

Just some insight into my choices: I trying to have a healthy mix of finishing those last few treacherous trophies from some of my backlog (looking at you, Garden level from I Am Bread and Downwell hard mode ?), as well as accepting a few new challenges! With that being said, I'm well aware of the beast that is SMB, so depending on how that goes, that may be my throwaway from this tier ?

 

Sidenote: I'm kind of surprised that I Am Bread also didn't make the Most Wanted list, given the notorious difficulty and effing Garden level on cheese hunt mode! Then again no one suggested it yet either, so...! ?
