Hentai means pervert in Japanese, so it's not necessarily going to have explicit tits and bums.

I was just feeding off of what OP said when they couldnt believe sony would allow a game to be called this

Does a google image search of the word hentai

..yeah i think i see where OP was going with this

Omg! Game looks awful, but I’m just glad Sony are letting “up-skirts” and “jiggle physics” in their games again! This bodes well.

If the game is cheap I might buy it just to support this type of content.

The price was officially confirmed a few hours ago by the Publisher as being $9.99/€9.99.

I have 2 most important questions about this game. Here goes:

1. Any nudity?

2. Any adult activities

  Hide contents

(sex scenes)?

You're gonna be sorely disappointed.. However if you just wanna kill some zombies as a cute anime character then sure it's quite fun!

1. Full nudity? Nope. You can play and run around in your underwear though if you like. There's a "dress up" section.
2. Nope. Afraid you're out of luck there.

I dunno I think games like this and my name is Mayo have some kind of uniqueness that warrants their existence outside of an easy plat. I probably won't play it but I won't feel shame when I see it in people's trophy list.

I still don't think visual novels or games that require no input should exist.

No on both counts so if you want the fully uncensored version, get it on either the switch or PC - avoid the PS4 & PS5 versions.

Meanwhile, Cyberpunk 2077 is still not back in the PS Store. :hmm:

Nah, but seriously. There's shovelware like this every day of the week, and yet, a game that - despite all its shortcomings - is an actual game, still isn't allowed up to this date. Boggles my mind, but eh.

The title will work as intended. I mean, It'll get me to support it even if the game is trash, if to do nothing else but fly in the face of pearl clutching puritans lmao.

Visual novels can be great though. Just like any other genre, it's simply that- a genre. They can and should exist and should indeed have trophies, just like every single game that comes out, good, bad or otherwise. Normies are a trip, I tell ya.

Average person here. I've definitely seen what type of degenerate pornography you weirdos watch, and I like it.

We all know where we are going. The only thing we're missing is the typical $1.99 Option to remove censors.

I'm not sure why this is a difficult concept. There is a big difference between a $70 AAA game that released as such a broken mess that Sony had to issue refunds and a short $10 that (presumably) works just fine as intended. Games like this may be shovelware, but they are also likely to move only a few thousand copies, and no one is going to buy and be unexpectedly left with a broken or not functional product.

I've not heard of any major issues with any of the EastAsiaSoft games or ports. While you may label them as shovelware, there are so many much worse games that these don't even register. If the title didn't say Hentai, there's no way this thread would be 3 pages long.

To put it in perspective, sometimes you want a nice steak dinner, other times a Big Mac is just fine. But if that fancy steak dinner arrives as rotting meat on your plate, that doesn't make it acceptable just because the alternative down the street is just a fast food burger joint.

As I said, I recognize its flaws, but still, they're actively trying to fix it and, by this point, anyone who's thinking of getting it probably already knows what they're getting into.

This game in particular is just an example; I know there's much worse, like Ascendshaft, Gilson B. Pontes games, Our Church and Halloween RPG, etc. But there's certainly something weird when these kinds of games get the greenlight and yet CP doesn't.

Back on topic, though: I think the answer to the title - "How is this actually a game?" - has already been answered by the previous posters, LOL.

I didn't mean the genre shouldn't exist but it shouldn't have any trophies attached to it. I also disagree with multiple region platinums.

Each to their own I guess?
