I can’t exactly remember but you need to beat all rivals in the main game which is 6 or 7? Do the ones for the DLC and then afterwards delete the DLC and those 2 will save you having to do at least the endurance one and another one of choice from the main game. It will definitely cut down in time! EDIT… Oops that was NFS Shift 2 lol Still, I will keep it mind for when I put Shift 2 on my list to finish. Maybe something for the Summer Challenge. Popular Post ArtisticGeek
UPDATE #3: Man I really underestimated how big DAI is. The good news is that I’m nearing the endgame so I won’t have to worry bout the Nightmare difficulty anymore, which in all fairness hasn’t been that bad. The DLC’s shouldn’t be that bad either though not really looking forward to doing a semi half play through for the challenge achievements but it’s whatever lol. The main thing is I’m not sure how I’m gonna pull off completing NieR Replicant and Forbidden West before the deadline. Just have to push and see how far I can go. 1. NieR Replicant - 0% 2. Popular Post MidnightDragon
Got LEGO Star Wars today. Since the posting of the Chrono Cross list is being frustratingly slow, I decided to plat another game not on the list: Virginia. It's good, but the ending is a serious mind screw. And also still uncertain on what's replacing Assassin's Creed Chronicles. Edited April 6, 2022 by MidnightDragon
Popular Post KimBongUn420
Update 5: #144 Ghostwire: Tokyo Difficulty: 3/10 Grind 7.5/10 Enjoyment 7/10 Ok, before I dive in - this is a very good game, but has an ABSURD platinum due to the collectible grind. The visuals are really, really top-notch. I alluded to this in my last post but it is impressive how the game makes the Shibuya surrounding area feel both alive and dead at the same time. The game does a masterful job of creating a believable "Rapture" scenario. The story is...fine, and the combat is also fine, and somewhat unique. There aren't that many different enemy types, but the game is so short that this doesn't really detract from the experience in my opinion. Also, I got through the platinum without the game crashing a single time, which in today's world is a massive technical achievement. So what kind of game is it? Well...it really feels like a combat-oriented VN, but also has elements of supernatural events and suspense. This is not a horror game by any means; there's one single jumpscare in the entire game and it's easy to see coming. It's certainly different from almost any other game I've played, and I found it a refreshing break from the cookie-cutter AAA games that I usually find myself playing. Now, onto the bad: this game takes about 50h to plat, and easily 40h of that is straight up collectible grind. If you don't believe me, here's the list of collectibles that are required for the plat: 52 Jizo Statues 20 KK's Notes 31 Landmarks 50 Food and Drink (a lot of these are random spawns. I thankfully only had to save scum for 1 item, but if you're not actively picking up plastic bags, you're gonna have a bad time) 40 Yokai Hunts 25 Tanuki 31 Music Tracks 50 Outfits 33 Prayer Beads (these mostly come naturally as you clear the Torii Gates) 123 Relics 29 Torii Gates 42 Side Missions 23 Visitor Types 17 Voice Logs On top of that, you have to collect all souls in the game. There are 240,300 in total. That is not a typo. Most locations give you 100 souls give or take, with some giving 300. 25000 of these souls are also random spawns, and the hyakki yako in particular are a bitch to spawn consistently. By my count, there are well north of 1000 locations you have to clear for souls, and I think it might actually be closer to 1500. Again, it is an absolutely absurd grind for a game that otherwise would be about 10h long. I did get tired of the collectibles by about hour 40, and just wanted the game to end. Even with the scenery as pretty as it was, repeating the same tasks got old pretty fast. I also waited to beat the game the first time, which was a mistake - I'd recommend doing the story as quickly as possible to upgrade the important prayer beads that help you find and transmit souls faster. Overall: 7.5/10. Though the game does a lot of good things, the collectible grind is really too much. It makes LA Noire look tame by comparison. It is definitely worth playing, but know what you're getting into if you're going for the platinum. Progress: No change on Horizon 2. Or Cyberpunk for that matter. Added Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Started playing this today and it's pretty great. TT made a lot of changes to the Lego formula and I think nearly all of them are for the better. I started Lost Judgment bc I was bored, but will almost certainly be swapping it out. Oh also, the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC for AC Valhalla is hot ass and not at all worth $40. It's a $20 bargain basement DLC at best. Don't get scammed like I did. Plans for this week: Work on the story mode of TSS Try to get back to Horizon Swap Lost Judgment for something (maybe SpongeBob?) Color Key: Green: Completed Game (This Update) (100% or Plat) Blue: Completed Game (Previous Updates) (100% or Plat) Orange: In-Progress Games Purple: Newly-Added Games Red: No Change Since Last Update Black (Non-Bold): Not Started Swaps: 1/2 Horizon: Forbidden West [PS5] - 38% Cyberpunk 2077 [PS5] - 42% Ghostwire: Tokyo - 25% -> (Apr 2) Shenmue (Mar 17) Shenmue II Lost Judgment [PS5] - 0% -> 2% Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga [PS5] - 0% -> 10% Games Complete: 2/7 Trophies: 142/315 (45.1%) Edited April 6, 2022 by KimBongUn420

But I’ve missed out on so many great games over the years - I usually don’t have time to game, so I’m now spending the time trying a lot of the awesome games I have missed. With my original backlog I have completed GTA V Horizon Zero Dawn GTA took me forever as I did a few things wrong - didn’t use the assassination tips and chose the wrong ending. But I have also worked on completing Friday the 13th which I platinumed yesterday. That took a huge amount of time. So I’m now planning on working on my backlog and also playing some new things before I have to return to normal life and no longer have time to game. Popular Post GraniteSnake
Finally completed my first game, Steins;Gate 0! It was an amazing experience, almost as good as the first game but not quite. It was always going to be next to impossible to match that masterpiece. The soundtrack was top notch, plus an interesting selection of newly introduced characters added to the already brilliant core group. You'd be a fool to skip through both of these games for the sake of quick platinum - it's well worth investing your time into this series. A really emotional journey full of twists and turns, highs and lows. Arguably the best story I've experienced out of any game I've played! Popular Post FreddySM14
Update ? Eyyyy 2nd game done, let's go! The Dark Knight Unlock all other trophies Just like the trophy image the trophy list also very standard. The trophies probably from 25% story, 10% do combo and 65% collectibles. The hardest part is knowing where to go since the map not helpful at all. The worst part you need 3 playtru for different ending. The best part the game is short, could be done in 3 hours. I'm currently playing Mutant Year Zero. Hopefully could get 100% next week. Gg everyone!

Popular Post Thirsty_Otter
Update #3 I finished Broken Age. The only tough part was beating the entire game in under an hour. It took me three attempts to get it and when I finished, I had less than one minute left before I would've been over the time. ? I also struggled a little with the capturing puzzle in Act One of Shay's chapter but was also able to get that on my third attempt. Overall, it was a pretty fun game (just a point and click adventure - but probably the toughest one I've ever played). I'm glad to be done with it though. Up Next: Pocket Academy! Popular Post willythom88
Going to be using my second swap. I will likely return to Secret of Mana someday, but it's not my cup of tea, and I genuinely don't enjoy it. With that being said, my second swap is listed below. Adventure of Mana - 100% Rime - 100% Legend of Mana - 8% Final Fantasy X - 46% Little Nightmares - 2% - NEW So I've been working on Legends of Mana, and I gotta say, so far, it's my favorite. I'm following a guide, but even then, the world feels very alive. The guide is help me avoid missables, as from what I've read, it has a lot of missable moments. I do thoroughly enjoy it though, and frankly, it might be my vote for best in the series. Well, the series that you can play on modern consoles and not spend a ton of money to buy.
Popular Post Zvetiki
Status Report: * Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy PS4 (100%) * Valkyria Chronicles 4 PS4 (54% → 100%) * Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition PSV (25% → 70%) * Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning PS4 (1% → 10%) * Costume Quest 2 PS3 (0%) * Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly PSV (0%) There is not much to add about VC4. As expected in the last update, it was just a matter of wrapping up. In total, I think I have spent just one hour on genuine farming (mostly money; also actions for three characters for promotion to corporal/squad stories) -- I had to replay several story missions for A ranks or Ace kills because I mostly played without guides or spoilers, thereby reducing my grinding time. A very enjoyable tactical RPG. Root Double was a surprise find. It turned out to be an interesting Sci-Fi mystery drama with mostly relatable characters, and a great visual presentation; I should say it ranks among the best VNs on the Vita. Unfortunately, after following a Steam walkthrough I am missing a few scenes and endings which should have unlocked by now. The developers have release a Japanese walkthrough, but also only for the Steam version, and I suspect that one is a bit different from the PS version. I'll check ps3imports next.

Popular Post Thirsty_Otter
Update #4 Two updates in as many days. I also finished The Walking Dead: A New Frontier today! It was a pretty decent Telltale game. I liked it a lot, but probably not as much as the first two. I hope the fourth and final one does a good job at wrapping up Clementine's story. I've never played it before (besides the beginning), so I can't wait to get to it. The third followed the story of a different group of people, but some old/familiar faces were still present. Mainly Clementine, AJ and one person from the TV show. This TWD had you playing a much more active role in what happened (button mashes and stuff), however it didn't have as many of the weighty decisions of the last two TWD games. I think there might've been two or three in the entire game. Still, I enjoyed it! UP NEXT: POCKET ACADEMY (Maybe....) Popular Post dark_moon689
2nd Update: I've finished Kiwami 2, it was enjoyable and easier than 0 because you can do Legend in New Game+ which I'll admit basically removes any challenge from the game if you start from a fully upgraded Kiryu and unbreakable weapons, the completion list also reduces certain very grindy requirements from previous games which was nice, it had it's high and lows as always. Still I like Yakuza 0 more than Kiwami 2 overall. Will probably start with Persona 5 Strikers as my next game. 1. (PS4) Yakuza Kiwami 2 - 0% -> 100% April 9th 2. Popular Post damcrac5
Update #6 Shadow of the Colossus (#69)- I've been wanting to play this game for a while. I couldn't put it off any more and went after it. From the moment I plunged my sword into the first colossus bringing it down, I was hooked. The environment, all though bare, actually added to the weight of Wonder's actions. Willing to cross vast areas, some beautiful, some barren and void, to fight 16 different colossi in order to bring a girl back to life. How the music modulated between dread to pending victory to that final blow, time slowing and music transitioning to a somber end to what was a mammoth beast, falling to the ground. I could go on, but this remake by Bluepoint, has me encouraged to paly more games from this developer (The Last Guardian, Ico, and maybe the PS3 version fo the game). As far as the plat goes, the guide says 40hrs and a 6/10. However, with a couple work arounds and a cleaner plan, this game becomes a 4/10 and I got the plat in 20 hours. You can read about how to reduce the time and difficulty to plat via my suggestions here. The only reason why it was a 4/10 is because the controls can be a bit...wonky at times. By the end of my 3rd playthrough, I had it figured out and wasn't an issue. Overall, you'll be killing a lot of colossi to reach max health and endurance. It only required about 2.5-3 hours of grind at the end for the health/stamina torphies, but all in all a smooth ride. Highly recommend this one. Untitled Goose Game (#70) - This game is hilarious. Running around as a good, annoying as many people as you come across. With Co-op, this was a blast to sit down with my kids, who eventually would end up just honking at everything as I worked through the lists. Speedrun trophies weren't that difficult as I folowed a video guide by Square One Games, which made the whole clean-up process simple and quick. Find this guy on sale, and have fun! Other Progress: Elden Ring - 32% ---> 47% Elden ring is going to be getting most of my attention this week. Ultimately, I'd like to have it done by my next update I've gotten past all the missable trophies, from what I understand so I'm feeling pretty good overall. I'm a bit overleveled as anyone is capable of doing, and it has really made the game much easier. Bosses are still punishing, but it makes me worry less about the random mobs as I work my way around. I've been following the PS4 version of the guide on the site. It is step by step and provides several map markers to help point you. I am using a Quality build with the bloodhound fang. Build taken from Fighting Cowboy's walkthrough. However, if you are looking for a great guide, that uses a lot of cheese methods, Professor Birk has a 6hr video guide that walks you from start to finish for a plat. Speeds up some cheese fights (kills several things via poison which takes a while), but travel from place to place is shown, nothing skipped. I might give this a go for my PS5 stack as he gets it done in approx 20 hours play time. The Last of Us Remastered - No new trophies, just some progress on my last factions trophy. I'm in a boosting session tomorrow morning that might finish it off. Though the boosting session really only cuts about 2 hours off of each faction trophy when you figure out the pacing of what to skip, and which missions to select for 100% risk. Don't let this multiplayer put you off from going for the plat or 100%. You dont' have to be good at shooters or online play to succed. Just focus on healing, reviving and supplying your team and you'll be more than comfortable enough as you work your way through the weeks. Sly Cooper Thieves in Time ----> 18% I'm on the 4th out of 5 worlds?/Time?. This game gets dumped on by the Sly fan base, but I haven't really felt that much of a difference between the first three and it. We will see how I feel after this is all done and if I'd consider adding the PS3 stacks, to including the two non-plat mini-games lists. Something that I'll consider down the road. Plans: Elden Ring is my priority, after I finish writing this. Then it will be based on something out of my control. I am part of a platinum challenge on a discord that rewards points for difficulty. Some games are worth double points, and we will be getting a new batch of games in the next week. Contenders for my next game are Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 2, Dark Souls, or The Witcher 3. Maybe, I'll cave and focus on TLOU and try to get one of these longer non-complete titles finished off, or focus on a shorter title such as First Light, Wolf Among Us, Ture Colors, or Unravel. Happy hunting everyone! See you next week! Popular Post StilRh
Hey guys. Pleasure to read your updates as usual This week I've been isolating with Covid (for the 3rd time lol) and been working from home, not having to stay late or travel to and fro has translated into a lot of time to play games this week. Deep Rock Galactic I've spent 5 or so hours on this. No trophies to show for it yet. I feel the scout is a very powerful class but I'm just not feeling it yet. Easter event has been fun. Nier Replicant I've spent 5 hours or so getting weapons, grinding mats and working the the B ending. I've planted a lot of flowers for white moonflower trophy - not messing around with timezones or anything, doing it in real time. Will slowly chip away at this in the coming weeks I think. Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 2 Able to get back into this masterpeice. In the 10 hours or so I've played this week I've progressed to the end of the first segment in chapter 2. This is likely to be my mainline game until completion due to how much there is to keep track of plotwise. I platinumed Sakura: of rice and ruin, my goodness, what a comfy, feel good game. Ever since seeing the rice planing song in Seven Samurai (below), I've loved the idea of getting to know more about rice cultivation and the associated culture. The game captures that and more. Additionally, I've dabbled with Before We Leave a fun if simple Settlers-esque city builder, and spent an exploratory hour with Outer Wilds (no trophies attained - will platinum this when I've got a free spot on my gaming schedule though). Hopefully this week Covid will be gentle to my gaming schedule and I'll continue to play the above.
