Popular Post damcrac5
Update #9 Dark Souls (PS3) #73 - Since I just finished a PS3 title, I figured I'd keep my souls trend up with adding the PS3 stack for Dark Souls. This one was a harder start than the PS4 version, mainly due to the 24 hr limit on a safety save (i.e. save scumming), but you could eventually access a glitch that would be able to duplicate everything, including boss souls. This made the rest of the game a breeze, and dare I say, much more enjoyable. Other Progress: Operation Tango ---->59% Started running this with @xItsLesterx because I saw he wanted to do it for this challenge. It has been really fun. A bit confusing at times, but I think we will get the plat done tonight, and hopefully the DLC in the next coming days. It is such a unique experience. I'm held back by a sleeping family, else I would get much more into it vocally, maybe for his sake, I can't. ? Not much outside of these two games. The decision, with Operation Tango being my second swap, is do I clean up the NA stack of Demon's Souls (just need to kill all the bosses, no farming left) which isn't on my list, or do I push back onto the PS5 and enjoy something like Uncharted 2, The Last of Us Remastered, or Batman: Arkham Asylum... Decisions... As being part of another challenge, I get my team more points for Uncharted 2 and Arkham Asylum. Uncharted 2 has Brutal DLC but gets me closer to playing Uncharted 4, which is on my profile. May be one of those things I play by feel when I finish Operation Tango. Will also have Demon's Souls to play around with while I make a decision. Last month! Want to finish strong, maybe 13 or 14 plats? Doable if I push some easier ones, but I want to focus on the big ones for now. I've already signed up for the Summer Challenge, but need to wait to see how much I get through on this before picking titles for that one. I'll only be online for a month of it, so it'll be much smaller than what I've got here. Ohh, I'm considering picking up Sifu... difficulty options are supposed to drop today! Finished off the Samurai Bringer plat and inching ever close to the Necromunda one as well. Katamari continues to be frustrating, but I'm making progress again. Currently going through the Eternal and Classic modes as I unlock them for each level, and once that's done I'll work on finishing the collection 100%. I also started up Blue Reflection Second Light again so I'm really splitting my time now. Hopefully that will pay off this week with a couple more platinum trophies. Plans are to finish Necromunda and Katamari and then concentrate on Blue Reflection. I should have a little more free time in May so I'm hoping to make up for my slow start thanks to Elden Ring. I won't be completing my list (again), but I'm still going to try and finish as many games on it as I can. Have a good week! Popular Post KimBongUn420
Update 8: it's been a while since I've posted - been out of the country the past week on a much needed vacation. I'm officially moving next Friday so I'm going to be pushing really hard the next 8 days to get as much done on my games as possible. Progress: Skywalker Saga - made it through 100% of the story levels, all mini kits and challenges done. Only thing left now is galaxy mode cleanup. I'm about 2/3 of the way to 100% completion. Finished Spongebob. Won't write a review because it's a well known game at this point and it was free on PS+. No progress on anything else. Plans for this week: Finish Skywalker Saga Try to finish Horizon Work on Cyberpunk collectibles List: Horizon: Forbidden West [PS5] - 38% Cyberpunk 2077 [PS5] - 42% Ghostwire: Tokyo (Apr 2) Shenmue (Mar 17) Shenmue II SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated - 31% -> (Apr 20) Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga [PS5] - 20% -> 48% Games Complete: 3/7 Trophies: 191/297 (64.3%) Spoiler Color Key: Green: Completed Game (This Update) (100% or Plat) Blue: Completed Game (Previous Updates) (100% or Plat) Orange: In-Progress Games Purple: Newly-Added Games Black: No Change Since Last Update Black (Non-Bold): Not Started Swaps: 2/2
Popular Post KazaneHime
Update #7 Horizon Forbidden West - 100% Elden Ring - 28% 35% Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed - 100% The Pedestrian - 100% Death's Door - 100% A Short Hike - 100% Bugsnax - 0% ➡️ 100% 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim - 0% Swaps (2/2) Complete (6/9) Think @TalesofGaming gave a pretty good update on our progress on Elden Ring - I haven't had much drive to play it recently with some not-so-great mental health weeks. Meanwhile, I started working on Bugsnax after the last update and I spent most of my gaming time playing that. I felt sick at the end, but I had heard the spoilers already so I had been expecting that. The gameplay itself was really relaxing and I enjoyed that. I'm going to start working on 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. It's been recommended by a lot of people so I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully, it won't be too much of a stressful game. Popular Post YaManSmevz
Update #7 5/4/22 Damn, I went to bi-weekly updates with the quickness, huh?? This season has just found my old ass having trouble keepin up with y'all young bucks! *insert silly, possibly ageist labored breathing here* First completion down at long last! My Memory of Us is an easy one to recommend - the gameplay isn't the best but it's one of those where the story and presentation is clearly coming from a good place and the execution, while imperfect for sure, is good enough to excuse the bits it doesn't quite get right. My wife walked in while I was reading all the collectibles (stories of real life, courageous bad asses who stepped up during the Nazi occupation of Poland) and somehow we ended up watching Schindler's List and crying at 3am. So yeah, good game! Started Res 4, and it's as good as I remember. BUT! Playing it after recently completing Res 5 has definitely re-upped my appreciation of the latter even more so. Yeah, 4's atmosphere and story are better, and it's the more significant of the two games by far. But damn if 5 didn't give them controls some much needed polish.... Also it's great to see that creepy merchant again, Mr. Eehhehehhh. Mah BOI!! The trench warfare with GTA V and MLB The Show 20 rages on, with admittedly meek results, but results nonetheless. So what's next? Well you know that thing where people get on a plane and go far away for a week or so and completely disregard everyday life? Wifey and i are doin that. BUT WHEN I GET BACK.... Res 4 and Transistor... you are goin DOWN. All love and best wishes y'all, as always I am so happy to see everybody gettin it. Keep holdin it down? 1. Resident Evil 4 (0-->21%) 2. Grand Theft Auto V (81-->84%) 3. Final Fantasy IX (8%) 4. MLB The Show 20 (65-->73%) 5. Transistor (1-->4%) 6. Popular Post PeachyJacobs
The timing of this challenge was always going to be tough for me with work and my studies. I've also had quite a few big milestones outside of gaming which have all been quite exciting so haven't been online a whole lot. I've made slow progress on Gran Turismo 7 but that's about it really. Will try and participate more over the next month and try and make up for this one in the next challenge. Popular Post neospoon
Update #7 swaps used 1/2 Celeste 100% (PS4) Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time 100% (PSVita) Dirt 5 - 100% (PS5) Homefront: The Revolution - 100% (PS4) A Plague Tale Innocence 100% (PS5) Rage 12% (PS3) A Plague Tale Innocence As much as I liked the game, I couldn't really put myself to it to go back again and get the last couple collectibles done and finish up the story. I thought it was going to take a bit longer but I managed to get it done today, which is ahead of what I had in mind. The game itself is really nice, graphics look stunning on PS5 and the story is pretty interesting as well!. If you like story driven games with a bit of fighting and some puzzles the definitely try this! I won't go into what the story is about because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Trophy wise this game is really straightforward. Get the collectibles, play the story and get some specific things done in certain chapters, that's it! Rage And then there was one left. I know that I've done a couple of chapters in this game and remember playing on the hardest difficulty to save myself from another playthrough. I will probably start working on this one after the weekend as I really want to try and get Modern Warfare 2 done first. Happy hunting everyone. See you in the next update!!
Popular Post Zvetiki
Small progress in the last weeks due to work commitments. * Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy PS4 (100%) * Valkyria Chronicles 4 PS4 (100%) * The Secret of Monkey Island PS3 (0% → 100%) * Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition PSV (74%) * Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning PS4 (32% → 48%) * Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly PSV (0% → 29%)* Costume Quest 2 PS3 (0%) Swaps used: 1/2 Costume Quest was swapped out. I just didn't connect with me. I wanted to replace it with another non-platinum PS3 game and opted for Monkey Island. My judgement may be clouded by nostalgia, the original having been my very first PC game after all, but I still consider it a good game, though probably rather on the short side by today's standards. (And I'll never understand the purpose of a speedrun trophy in a Point&Click adventure.) I am nearing the end of the main story in Amalur. Just a steady march forward, followed by a bit of a mop up. The PS4 DLC is apparently rather substantial, though. Not sure yet what to make of Psychedelica. It certainly doesn't earn a spot among the top Otome VNs, but at least the characters are not extremely annoying yet, as they sometimes are in those kind of game. Not good, not terrible. Still undecided with what I will be replacing Root Double.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the very end of the month to join for this reason. Skyrim's getting closer to being finished but there's no way I'll finish all the other VR games on my list in time.
Popular Post Jelly Soup
Right, taking stock of what needs to be done. I also need to finish a couple Sega things since they are being removed in another week or two, but that's pretty quick stuff. As always, my main problem with starting/finishing games is over planning. The two Monkey Island games are pretty simple, but there is a speedrunning trick that allows for skipping large chunks of the game. Not sure if it works on console, though. Last Tinker, Farming Simulator, Pac-Man Championship 2 and Catlateral Damage aren't that long and could theoretically be done in a day or two, if I can stay awake. Hue & FEZ will take longer. FEZ might have been a 'bitten off more than I can chew' choice given the length of the game. Unleash the Light is an RPG, but a short one now that I understand how to use the luck stat and who to stack it on. Rhombus of Ruin isn't very long and was the first one I planned on tackling, but the damn VR headset is being a pill to set up. Wanted to also finish two other games while I've got it hooked up. Popular Post Heather342
Update 10 Hey everyone, hope you've all had a great week. Time for my weekly progress check in ? It was another bank holiday on Monday, so I spent pretty much the whole day playing Hades. Turned out that I needed more dialogue with Patroclus to finish that quest I was still working on, so after another 2 or 3 runs to Elysium and finding Patroclus I was able to trigger all the remaining conversations and finish that quest pretty quickly, which also granted me the last Cthonic companion I was missing. During those runs I got through to the epilogue of the story and popped that trophy. All that was left was the grind to max out all keepsakes to level 3 (I had about 6 left to do). This took several hours of just running through Tartarus, trying to quickly clear encounter rooms. The last trophy that I had to get was Thorn of Thanatos, which was to get the 30% damage bonus with the Pierced Butterfly keepsake. This needs you to clear 15 encounter rooms without taking any damage, and it took me about 4 hours to do ?. Eventually I got a good set of boons, particularly from Athena which gave me deflect on my main attack and I levelled it up a few times so that by the time I got to Asphodel I was just punching projectiles straight back at the enemies ?. Overall I really liked this game, my weapon of choice for the most successful runs were the Fists of Malphon using the hidden aspect of Gilgamesh. With Hades completed, I'm down to my final 2 games of the challenge - Catherine and Crash Bandicoot. For Catherine, I finished up the remaining levels I needed to complete in the Rapunzel arcade. Although towards the end it got a bit boring, there's 128 levels in total to do it just felt a bit much. Other than that, I'm tackling the gold prizes on hard mode one level a day. Yesterday I completed stage 5, so only 4 more to go. Once that is done all I'll have left to do is complete the final level of Babel, but I am saving this prior to my milestone of 4000 trophies. Booted up Crash again as well yesterday. Firstly I went back to The High Road and collected all the boxes to get the gem (remembering to get the ones at the start of the level I missed last time ?). I managed to progress a few more levels, have defeated N. Brio, collected 5 time trial relics and got the key from the Sunset Vista level. But going back to this game now it's super frustrating, makes me pretty mad when I play it. I'm remembering why I have been putting it off for so long, but I'm determined to get it done this time. Plus the number of trophies I have left on this game perfectly lines up to make the Catherine plat the milestone, so I will finish it this time ?. Just got to keep pushing through the frustration and git gud! Trophy progress: Hades - 90 -> 100% Catherine - 77 -> 80% Crash Bandicoot - 34 -> 47%
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 11 - I'm so nearly done with Dark Souls 2, just two more bosses to go before I can buy the remaining Miracles and Pyromancies to trigger the platinum. I thought Dark Souls was fantastic, but this one really feels like a lesser game in the way levels and mechanics are designed. I'll share more of my thoughts on it, but after 2.5 playthroughs, I'm not sure I can personally recommend this one. I'm also still plugging away on Lego Star wars: The Skywalker Saga, I think i'm almost done with the space related sections, then it's onto the hub levels to finish everything off. I think i'm going to be done with my list with a couple of weeks to spare so I'll likely add a few specific titles very soon! Hope everyone is doing well, I'm really enjoying reading the updates in my coffee breaks EDIT - I actually got the plat for Dark Souls 2 soon after posting, so I'm going to add 3 more games (Soma, Night in the Woods & Hellblade) which also tie in with the mental health event: Divinity: Original Sin GTA V Beyond: Two Souls Dark Souls Remastered Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Ghostwire: Tokyo Dark Souls 2 Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - 48% > 50% Soma - 0% Night in the Woods - 0% Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - 0% Edited May 8, 2022 by Crispy_Oglop
Popular Post StilRh
Hi guys. Hope it's been a nice week for you all. I've checked my timecard and I've worked 68 hours this week, oof, it has been hard to get on with my gaming targets with that much going on. I have played a lot of Horizon Forbidden West. It's a game that my views have swung back and forth on since I got it, there are some great mechanics and world building but equally a lot of open world bloat and some elements that are pretty meh. This week I've been really digging it, when I've been in the zone the game play has felt as good as the first time I played the original HZD. I've pushed a few quests ahead and been tackling the activities for completion score and level ups to help clear the more advanced content. I unashamedly have put the game on easy and toggled the drops to be more favourable - I don't think this cheapens the experience at all as I was clearing the game on normal difficult settings it was just a bit tedious having to grind materials when I've got a lot going on (if I was a NEET with only this game to play I would absolutely play on max difficulty and grind drops, Metro Ranger mode style). The other games in my challenege I've been playing are Deep Rock Galactic, getting my grind on in the new season, and LOH: Trails of Cold Steel 2. I've advanced a subchapter and got a battle trophy... I love this game but it's not loving me back in terms of trophy rewards, heh. When I complete the game it will be a bit of a pinata and likely shower me with them Off list I've played some Aliens Fireteam Elite for the new season and wanting to boost completion score before the playerbase dies out (hopefully this will stay alive for a long time). This week I'll likely be recovering from work but I want to finish Forbidden West, get a few substantial trophies in Cold Steel and then either return to MuvLuv: Alternate, Nier Replicant or start Okami. I am hoping for another 3 platinums before the challenge ends which may be a bit ambitious depending on work and my health. Loving your updates guys Spoiler Deep Rock Galactic 51% Dying light 2 100% Elden Ring 11% Horizon Forbidden West 41% > 74% Legend of Heroes: Tales of Cold Steel 2 17% > 18% Muv-Luv Alternative 20% Nier Replicant 38% Okami 18% Sakura: Of rice and ruin 100% Undermine 41%

All because the last trophy for WWE still requires me to play 79 more matches on the highest difficulty to unlock the tokens required to get 5 diamond wrestler cards to complete the last requirements for the Myfaction Lifetime Challenge. Now 79 matches wouldn't be so bad if I got to pick the match types or opponents, nope they have slowly been increasing the difficulty of the opponents (no problem with this) and constantly pick the longest or most difficult match types to complete (6-8 man ladder matches, 8 man KO elimination matches, 20-minute ironman matches, 1 on 2 tornado handicap matches, etc). It is more than mildly frustrating when you go through a 20 minute ladder match only to lose because the AI stops you from climbing the ladder, but completely ignores the other opponents. I am not going to complete my list this round, I know that. I will get WWE finished, but then I need to make the decision to either carry on with the remaining games or to save them and pick them up for the next backlog challenge.

I finished up what little I had left in The Saboteur and popped the plat. Then I moved on to Falling Skies but I haven't made much progress. The game is a bit rough in a couple of places. The characters from the show (which were only playable in the tutorial so far, otherwise it's generic characters) look way off and I don't know about the voice acting, either the original cast was phoning it in or they got some amateurs who somewhat resemble their voices. I'm guessing it's a very low budget game to cash in on the show. Otherwise the gameplay is fun. I haven't got a clue how much progress I'll be making trophy-wise since majority of trophies are for specific missions that show up randomly and the bugged ones that I have to prolong for a while till I meet all the requirements for at the same time. I'll keep playing Falling Skies. Until next time...

I also use my first swap to get rid of We Happy Few (I really don´t have the motivation to play a 40 hour procedural generated game with a ton of collectibles at the moment) and replace it with Paradise Lost (EU). A short walking simulator with an interesting premise. I have this game but it doesn´t show of in my trophy list because I haven´t got any trophies in it- one of these games. Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don´t Dry (EU) I only played Magna Cum Laude and Bust Office Bust (a.k.a. the meh and the bad one) before this, so I can´t really compare this one to the original series. This game is some kind of reboot. Larry wakes up in the modern age after been in cryogenic sleep since the 80´s. and need to understand modern day things like the Internet, smartphones or hipsters if he ever wants to get laid. The game was really fun. Good writing and good jokes but the technical side was not as good, unfortunately. The game froze 3 times during my playthrough with let me no other choice as to close the application and load an old save file (which are only manually saved - no auto save) and the cursor moved a little fast which made it a little finicky to get a few of the smaller objects. The platinum can be done in one playthrough, but there are missables, so I would recommend a guide.

Elden Ring has been slow as @KazaneHime and I have been pretty busy so haven't had much time to play. ? I finally platinumed Scarlet Nexus and what a journey it was. It'll be going down as one of my favorite JRPGs. I also completed What Remains of Edith Finch since it was only a 2 hour game and I enjoyed it! Some of the stories were a little unsettling not gonna lie, but, it was really cool to experience what looked like, imaginations coming to life. Lastly, I have started Haven and am about halfway through it. The synopsis really intrigued me at first and I love the art style! The world-building is so gorgeous and the OST is a banger! I didn't initially like the battle system cause I thought it was turn-based but it technically isn't? I do think the game would be more fun if I had a partner to play with though.

Popular Post dark_moon689
3rd Update: Not much done, some progress in both Persona 5 strickers and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean. I am hoping to finish at least one of them this week. Also I've decided that I just not doing The Last of Us, I am not in the mood for it at all. But I haven't decided what to change it for. I got Stardew Valley as gift, but I want to play that to relax when others just feel like to much, so we shall see what happens and what game calls to me. 1. (PS4) Yakuza Kiwami 2 - 0% -> 100% April 9th 2. (PS3) LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean - 2% -> 44% 3. (PS4) The Last of Us Remastered - 33% -> 4. (PS4) Persona 5 Strikers - 0% -> 19% 5. (PS4) Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - 0% -> Swaps used: 0/2 Games completed: 1 of 5
Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 10 - 5/10/2022 Katamari Forever 45% 50% Necromunda Hired Gun 88% 5/7/2022 Spent more time playing non-challenge games last week, but still managed to get the plat for Necromunda so that was good. Made a little more progress in Katamari, but I am completely burned out on it. Finished up the Drive levels, but still have most of the King's Classic levels to unlock and finish. And I haven't even tried for some of the trickier collection items yet. I'll keep chipping away at it but it's probably going to take me the rest of the month. In the meantime, I'm hoping to knock out Blue Reflection Second Light this week and then maybe start on Outriders. At this point I'll probably move Elden Ring and Chrono Cross over to my summer list, but I'm going to wait until the last minute to do so. Maybe I'll get inspired and go on a tear. Have a good week! Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here’s another update from me. I’ve completed Horizon Forbidden West this week since I have a nice tv now. I enjoyed the game but for some reason I didn’t like it as much as the first one. I had a difficult time getting into it and was never completely invested in the story. I’m switching out The Escapist for Unpacking. I’ve wanted to play this since it came out on Xbox last year, so I’ll give it priority. I’ll complete the Escapist another time outside of a challenge. I think after completing Unpacking that’s it for me this challenge, but I might add a 100% game later if I have time. Let’s see have a good week everyone! 1. Cook, Serve, Delicious 3! - 100% 2. A Short Hike - 100% 3. The Pedestrian - 100% 4. Life is Strange Remastered -100% 5. Yoku's Island Express - 100% 6. Planet Coaster - 100% 7. Life is Strange: Before the storm - 100% 8. Horizon Forbidden West - 31 —> 100% 9. The Escapist; The Walking Dead - 48% —> Unpacking - 0% 10. Route 96 - 100% Swaps: 1/2 The Escapist; The Walking Dead switch for Unpacking. Popular Post KazaneHime
Update #8 Horizon Forbidden West - 100% Elden Ring - 35% ➡️ 38% Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed - 100% The Pedestrian - 100% Death's Door - 100% A Short Hike - 100% Bugsnax - 0% 100% 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim - 0% ➡️ 100% Unpacking - 0% Swaps (2/2) Complete (7/9) Haven't had much time to play with @TalesofGaming on Elden Ring, life's been crazy. I got really into 13 sentinels and just got the platinum today. With that done, I'm gonna add in Unpacking as a short plat to clean that up. Know it just released but I've beaten it on PC a couple times and am looking forward to getting the plat!
