Most dictionary definitions specify a 'vehicle' is a machine with an engine. And the word 'operate' in the Bingo tile gives a very machine-y feel. All that said, it's not a hill I would die on haha. And it seems a pretty chill competition, so I'm sure it's fine!

Yen-Pop
BBBBBBINGOS BABYYY! We got a whole bunch of games (okay just three, but it feels like a bunch) done, leaving me with only two spots left! In I5 Adventure we have Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind, which as far as DLC's goes is fine - I'm glad that the digital fights weren't required for the platinum, and I guess it does cover a plot hole that wasn't wrapped up in III but I also wish it had more meat to it all in all. For G2 Anthropomorphized Animals we have Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory, and I hate to admit it, truly I do, but I actually like it. I KNOW I KNOW I hate myself for it too, but like honestly it's free through PS Plus Extra and as far as weird side games in KH, it could be way worse. Though WHY they made a whole game for like 2ish hours of relevant lore I don't know. But if you're a weird fanboy about the series like I am (my forum avatar is Riku from the manga for God's sake) and secretly love rhythm games, it's pretty good. And then there was O1 Started But Didn't Finish with the absolute misery-porn that is Life is Strange 2. I really enjoyed the first game, but something about this particular game was just a ball-ache of a time to get through. Part of it is that at the time I picked it up the first time around, Portland was still entrenched in regular protests turned riots over police violence; part is the fact that there are long stretches in the game that just go on forever with very little being accomplished other than 'I'm sad' 'I'm also sad'; part is that throughout the game your options can be summed up as either be an absolute horrific monster to a 9 year old boy experiencing an immense amount of grief and change, or don't. And you can't skip all scenes in Collectible Mode but that's a whole other angry rant. Two games left! Horror game is perfect for the upcoming Halloween season, and my boyfriend has finally convinced me to start up my very first Yakuza game, so hopefully I should be able to get the card finished up before the end of the year! Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
BINGO #6! (unless @Squirlruler tells me otherwise) I used the game Destroy All Humans: Clone Carnage for the square In a Series New To You, does this count? I'm pretty sure it's just a spin-off game or something, but it's still a franchise / series I haven't played before that. If it doesn't count I might move it to Aliens or Robots, but having my eyes on Lies of P for that. About Destroy All Humans, honestly a fun little game, only paid 30 cents or something like that for it. Looking for all the special targets in the abduction missions was a bit of a pain, especially since you have to do it for each of your friends aswell. And some of the targets are really good at Hide n Seek. If not for all the stuff that's released now I would probably try a main line game of the franchise afterwards, but no time

Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Game: Sea of Stars Box: "With Player Operated Vehicles" A super cool Chronotrigger inspired prequel to The Messenger, with gorgeous pixel art, a fun combat system, great characters and a really keen eye for what made the old games it takes as inspiration great! You end up sailing the high seas in a ship named the Vespertine, and have full control of it - and as google reliably informs me.... a boat - even a wind/oar-powered one, is a vehicle! Popular Post gamer_darkly
Update No.3 Lost track of what I've filled since last time I posted an update. I think its: - Has Snacks - Minecraft Dungeons - Done the main story. Still playing. - In a Series New to You - Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart - Yes, really. My first R&C game. And a very good one at that. - That "Everyone" Has Played But You - Fez - Yup, finally got round to it. Main story done but I have 5 more antimatter cubes to find and can't bring myself to look up the solutions. I know the answers are right in front or me. - Historical Fiction or Mythology - Trek to Yomi - This was a treat. Looks amazing and a great story. Infuriating and rewarding. - Strategy, Simulation, or Management - Shadow Tactics - Another treat. Still plenty of trophies to clear up though. - Metroidvania or Roguelike - Dicey Dungeons - Simple but challenging, charming and fun. - That You Started but Didn't Finish - Final Fantasy VII (Original) - I spent ages looking through my game list trying to find things I hadn't finished but I don't tend to give up on games so it wasn't that easy. Then FF XVI came out and everybody was playing it and I thought to myself, I've only ever played one FF game. Hang on! I never finished that. So, 23 years after starting FF VII on Playstation 1 (Platinum range, 3 discs), I've finally done it. Strange how it felt simultaneously nostalgic and new. Anyway, I'm prepped for the remake now. Only 3 boxes to go. I've finished Nioh 2 but working through the DLC. Brace yourselves for a tidal wave of gushing if I ever talk about this game.

Which is one of the most painful things to do in the game Player's Choice - Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition - still the best action game out there Has no platinum trophy - Chaos Code - PS3 version is platinum free With Player Operated Vehicles - Hawken - You control mechs into battle Free to Play - Soulstice - offered via PS+/PS Premium Anthropomorphized Animals - One Piece Burning Blood - Tony Chopper is a reindeer who ate the human human fruit. Popular Post Charizarzar
First bingo! New completions: Starts with the first letter of your PSN ID: Chicory. Originally it was to be Claire, but I kept hearing about this one. Cute art game that's great for people like me who aren't so great at art. That "everyone" has played but you: Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus. I went on a cruise recently and bought a Vita to help keep me entertained, and this was one of the first games I went for. Though the sun was too bright for me to enjoy playing it while lying on the hammock so I actually didn't make much use of it until I got back home. 😄 Redeemed from PS Plus: Chivalry 2. It's a shame there was so much complaining for this PS+ month, I had tons of fun with this one and it hit the medieval craving I've had this year (hopefully I can make a start on Kingdom Come Deliverance this year or next). The platinum would definitely make you suffer if you were boosting everything alone (and it's neat that the game even allows you to do that), but even as a complete noob it was a lot of fun playing online. The voice emotes are hilarious too. Sci-fi or fantasy themes: Jurassic World Evolution. This was a long time coming, and while it's got me hooked into trying out more building managers and I highly recommend it, I was very glad to finally get this off my backlog. In a series new to you: Twisted Metal. I'd always been put off from this series because I hate clowns, and only started it to help with researching a recent guide. Found it difficult to get into for the first hour when I didn't know how to play, but it got better the more it went on and I can definitely see this as a series I want to check out more of. Definitely one of the most 90s games I've ever played - the live-action endings that got removed partly because of how cheesy they were are worth a watch. Peripheral-based: Just Dance. (requires you to keep a phone connected and held in your hand in place of a controller). Initially was gonna stick with the free version as you can still get the plat that way with the 2 available songs, but I'm glad I forked out a little extra as that would've been incredibly boring. Another fun one though, good for keeping fit for a couple of weeks until you get the plat and insta-delete it. You think you will dislike: SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom. I never liked Spongebob's grating voice or creepy face growing up (though I was kind of picky with cartoons anyway) so figured I'd hate this, but enjoyed it for what it was. Non-human sidekick: Sly 2: Band of Thieves. This might be pushing the definition since everyone is non-human, but your sidekicks are still a turtle and a hippo, so technically counts, right? Arcade, rhythm, or puzzle: Welcome Park. Another game that every Vita owner has played that's just there to get you accustomed to the features. I was originally gonna pick Thumper for this category and thought this might be a lame alternative, but the timed snap and slide puzzles broke more of a sweat than Just Dance did!

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
Time for another updated Previous to this updated Spoiler B1 - Shantae and the Seven Sirens - Has a speedrun trophy that can be done n one go I1 - Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One - Has been around in book format for a few years. I2 - Beyond a Steel Sky - mediocre adventure game, has an AI as a buddy (Joey) I4 - Stranger of Paradise - Enjoyable game, with poor inventory management I5 - Tormented Souls - Spongy enemies and clunky controls. For some nostalgic, not for me though. N1 - Shadow Warrior 2 - Probably the most fun Shadow Warrior game in the series N5 - Ravenous Devils - a decent sim that's a bit buggy G1 - Martha is Dead - It's more of a mystery thriller than a horror game. O2 - Fobia St. Dinfna Hotel - Solid, but a lot of clipping issues and the combat is not great. (Won Brazilian Game of the Year) O5 - Hard Reset Redux - Another game with lots of robot enemies B2 - Lost Words: Beyond the Page - Was way better than I expected it to be B5 - Lake - You spend most of the game in a mail truck N2 - The Gardens Between - Even has puzzles with weather effects N4 - PJ Masks Heroes of the Night - Kids game, but not really good G2 - Paw Patrol Mighty Pups - Decent enough kids game G4 - Sword and Fairy Together Forever - Title says it all really O3 - Fast and Furious Spy Racers Rise of Sh1ft3r - There's like 3 Fast and Furious games now, and there shouldn't have been a single one
Popular Post Finch_III
September update: O1 – That 'Everyone' But You Has Played – I had a lot of options for this, as I keep buying Triple A games and then not having time to play them. In the end, I've opted for Returnal. Which, at the time of writing, has over 120,000 owners on PSNP. And – after many, many, many deaths – I've managed to get both the platinum and 100% with DLC. This is a game I struggled quite a lot with, although I was really enjoying it by the end. Once I began to get (marginally) better at it. The post-game grind was irritating, but not the end of the world. This leaves just two squares left for my Bingo sheet. Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Lies of P has been completed and the "Aliens or Robots" square marked. What a great game! Easily the best souls like game I've played in recent time, I'd even argue that the game is better Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 2 and without the nostalgia bonus even Dark Souls 1. I really hope the franchise gets more games. They did a sequel bait at the end, so let's hope. I made an oopsie while playing and had to do an extra run, but it was because I'm a bit brain dead sometimes. You can dismantle every normal weapon in the game and create your own arsenal, so when I tried to play around with it and me being the handsome, smart, REAL human, not a puppet, being that I am... I destroyed all my upgraded weapons instead of dismantling them... leaving me with no upgraded weapons at all around halfway through the game. Some of the bosses got nerfed today, so I can't say I platinumed the game with all it's bosses in their prime, but at least I managed to get a full NG run before the patch hits. Buildwise I went with dex, mostly because of the stagger mechanic requiring a charged heavy attack to actually trigger the stagger, which is way harder with the slow heavy weapons. For easier time parrying I went with the Guard Parry, making some bosse really trivial. On 9/26/2023 at 10:18 AM, princexedar said: I still need recommendations for B1 Bloodshore is a short FMV game, but I think it was quite enjoyable. Bugsnax is weird Pokemon, but if you like to catch em all, it's fun all around! And also takes just ~10 hours. Or try Lies of P If you need more, let me know, just the first two games that came to mind.
Popular Post AgentPenguin08
Reboot/Spiritual Successor - Tron: Evolution + With a Female Protagonist - Resident Evil 5 Trying to finish up my bingo card by going after backlog games. This game, along with the movie that released close to this game, tried to reboot the Tron franchise but wasn't successful. This game was an interesting concept but the controls and feel of the game held it back from being great. I had an alright time with it. Resident Evil 5 has Sheva as one of the main protagonists. Playing through this game with a friend was a blast! Might not be the most beloved RE game but I enjoyed myself. I gotta work on finishing up a line already! Popular Post Platinum_Vice
Got myself two bingos up in this bad boy. Nine new additions since my last post in about five months. - Undeniably, Elden Ring has gorgeous vistas. - Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga was a mammoth co-operative game which lasted for about 75 hours, and that was about 70 hours more than I needed. - Foreclosed was a game that I expected to dislike... and then did dislike. - Crafting mechanics were in Horizon: Forbidden West. - Inscryption has online features if you reach a particular match with 'The Archivist.' This is an amazing game that I encourage everyone to experience. - God of War: Ragnarok gave me 'the feels' and I loved it. - Knightin+ has <1000 owners, and it was my first experience with a Ratalaika title. It was not the best first impression but that was mainly down to personal taste in genres and mechanics rather than the studio's efforts for that title. I went in having external input that Ratalaika were a legitimate studio that happened to pump out fairly simple games, fairly quickly, with easy trophies that require at least some effort instead of the current trend of EZPZs. Knightin+ matches with that assessment. - My favourite genre is probably the puzzle genre but that'a because I think that "action" would be a copout. As such, I went with Maquette and enjoyed it. In short, it's... above average for popular releases within that genre and I'd recommend it for other puzzling gamers, especially if they also like walking sims. - Norco is an adventure game and regardless of how I felt playing it, and regardless of whether I think I 'got it'... I'm still thinking about it weeks later. My opinion still hasn't finished marinating, so NO I will NOT recommend it or not SO STOP ASKING ME MOM!

You finish your greens, get upstairs and tidy your room, and recommend Norco, young man! 1
