Popular Post neospoon
Update #3 Starting PCG: 77.94% Current PCG: 78.64% ================ Goal: 83% I forgot to update throughout February. Finished a couple of games, Currently playing Borderlands the Pre-Sequel which has been on my list for over 7 years. Guess I got bored with the franchise… So far I’m having fun playing it in co-op. Next big one I might give a go is Metal Gear Solid 4 which I’ve played for the first time in 2014. It’s really satisfying seeing my overall percentage move in the right direction! Popular Post MrHealthy
Took a bit of a progress hit since my last update. Down 0.11% with more unearned trophies added rather then completed. Blur (0% - 29%) As of near the beginning of the month the broken online servers just started working again. I always wanted to do this game so I jumped on the opportunity to get it done. The leaderboards are still knackered and some accounts can not earn the trophy Friends make better enemies when they don't appear on the leaderboard as a result. Thankfully I do appear on the leaderboard so this was no issue for me. Just need to finish my grind to level 50 (currently 43) and win a team race and the online trophies will be done. It's not been nearly as bad as I was lead to believe. The Pinball Arcade (67% - 70%) Did squeeze in some time to play some more pinball. Managed to finish the wizard goals on the Cactus Canyon table finishing my second DLC pack. I also finished off the suprisingly easy Gorgar wizard goals to round me out to 70%. Bigshot wizard goals which I was working on still elude me. But for now I am very happy with the 9% overall gain here and am shelving this for the time being. Will pick it back up in a couple months most likely. Not so much to say about them; pretty straight forward. short and enjoyable. Now the last DLC is a whole different thing. You have to play the 9 missions from the base game on extreme difficulty. I already saw the warning in the guides/fora. Doing it solo is given a 9/10 difficulty. Which is steep to say at least . I actually blasted through the first 3 missions only to get stuck at mission 4 on what I thought was the end-boss. Now the main difficulty is that you have to damage the boss with holding and draining 1/3 of his health. THAT is all easy what is not, is that you are getting swarmed by minions. After a few tries , lot's of swearing ( I confess ) I finally made it. However, this was not the end boss of the level....what a disappointment! I did read that mission 7 is the make or break. Will do that after I have finished this one to see if I really want to spend time on it... I find it beyond believe that this is only worth a trophy! Trophy systems stinks! If you want to make this a bit easier, you can play on the easiest difficulty, up until the last checkpint of the level, back out, swap difficulty to extreme and then compelte whateve is left. The end bit of chapter 7 is indeed awful on extreme. What worked for me, was using Frank (The Soldior), wiith Call of Seteki amulet (summons some undead guys, who will draw aggro) and the decoy grenade (draws aggro to where you throw it. Best used for drawing enemies into spinning blade traps etc, or buying yourself a bit of breathing rroom when you need to heal). Sidearm doesn't matter much, main weapon, I think was one of the DLC ones, Gehrig I think (for equipped gems, I think I had increased damage, heal on kill, faster fire rate and reloaad, and recoil). Getting through the level is okay , it is just the end boss that is irritating to beat. I might as well try changing character and weapons. Now using a shotgun with the prof. Popular Post be_minor
Spent this week cleaning up Saints Row: The Third before it left PS+. I don’t have much to say about the game, and I’d rate it a meh out of 10, but the various activities in the sparse open world were the highlight for me. I also spent a healthy amount of time in Hogwarts, slowly exploring the map and avoiding the main quest, earning miscellaneous trophies as I went. Only the 100 daily contracts is left for the plat. Persona 5 Royal 35% The amount of changes and additions is making me enjoy the game a lot. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 53% One of the games I started a few years ago. It’s very nostalgic since I played them during the PS1 era. The soundtrack is very good. Popular Post Llobster12
Update 6 Overall Completion Percentage: 86.23% --> 88.28% (+2.05%) Change From Last Update: 87.43% --> 88.28% (+0.85%) Goal: 91.23% ---- (-2.95% to reach goal) Plats Earned: 103 --> 109 --> 112 (+3 from last update, +9 overall) Games Completed: 128 --> 134 --> 138 (+4 from last update, +10 overall) Trophies Earned: 4568 --> 4710 --> 4763 (+53 from last update, +195 overall) Games Started: 150 --> 155 --> 157 (+2 from last update, +7 overall) I decided to do my update early this week since I made some great progress in the last few days, but mainly because I'm about to tank my completions with PSVR2 releasing in less than 24 hours and I'm going to try out a number of new games because of that. Figured I should leave a snapshot of how well I was doing before I put myself in a bit of a hole that will take a little while to climb out of. I will climb out of it though! Games I've been playing: Hot Shots Golf (PS5) (but really PS1) 37% --> 100% Platinum #110 attained! I finally just sat down and grinded out the remaining rounds I needed to do instead of picking at it a tiny bit per night. It wasn't bad, but I was definitely ready to be done by the time I finished. The trophy to score a hole in one took about an hour of tiny adjustments on a single shot and hundreds of rewinds till I finally got it to go in. If this game didn't have the rewind function it would've been nigh impossible to complete. Can't say I'm looking forward to completing the second one later on this year. The Turing Test (PS4) 0% --> 100% (non-plat game) This game wasn't on my list of things to play this year, but I was browsing the list of games leaving PS Plus Extra and this game caught my eye. It's short and has an interesting story and game mechanics so I decided to knock it out really quick. Glad I did, it was an enjoyable afternoon and it was nice to have a quick game started and finished. Returnal (PS5) 66% --> 100% Platinum #111 attained!, DLC completed! After what felt like eons of grinding for the RNG collectibles (seriously, who thought that was a good idea?!) I finally got the platinum. Then I went into the DLC which is basically an endless mode. I actually really loved this mode. The enemies keep getting tougher as you go, but to compensate the mode lets you and your guns get MUCH more powerful than you are allowed in the main game. It is really really fun to tear through some of the tougher enemies in the game with super OP weapons. The catch though is that the enemies get so tough you can eventually easily get 1-shotted. I enjoyed this mode so much I'm still playing it days after getting the 100%. I'm actually quite proud of the 100% It took me a while to get good enough at the game but I was finally able to do it. Highly recommended to play this one, just stick with it if it doesn't grab you right away. I almost walked away from it, but I'm glad that I pushed through since now I love playing it once it finally clicked with me. Astroneer (PS4) 9% --> 13% I had started this around Christmas but shelved it so I could concentrate on finishing up some other games. I picked it up again this week after finishing Returnal and played for an hour or so. Just enough time to re-learn how to control the game (controls are not the best and I wish I had a mouse and keyboard set up for my PS5 for this game) and get a couple of trophies. I probably will re-shelve it for the short term since I'll likely be focusing on VR for the next few weeks. Hoa (PS5) 0% --> 100% Platinum #112 attained! What a delightful little game! Another short game I decided to knock out. I really really loved this game. It is a short and simple side-scrolling platformer that looks like it could've come out of Studio Ghibli and with a soundtrack that just may be my favorite in quite some time. It was super relaxing and beautiful. I lost track of how many times I'd say to my wife, "are you hearing this?! This music is gorgeous!" If you can find it for cheap I'd say definitely play through this. It's only a couple hours long, but well worth the time. What's Next? Well, like I said before, I will likely just be playing the new VR for the next few weeks. The games that I plan on playing for sure are: Horizon Call of the Mountain Jurassic World Aftermath Collection Moss: Book II Kayak VR: Mirage Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge There's a few more that I may or may not pick up and try also, but we will see! I obviously can't get them all, but I'll probably get a couple more of the following PSVR2 games that I've got my eye on: Song in the Smoke The Tale of Onogoro Tentacular Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder Townsmen VR Awesome Asteroids Runner Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate Altair Breaker Swordsman Demeo If anyone plays any of those, or plays a different VR2 game that's not on my radar, please feel free to give me a recommendation! Thanks in advance! I'm super excited and can't wait to play tomorrow evening! Happy trophy hunting and good luck to everyone! Congrats to everyone on their progress! Popular Post GT__Jedi
Starting Percentage: 58.88% As of today: 59.84% Completed Chicory: A Colorful Tale which was one of the best games I've played in a long time. I highly recommend throwing this gem in your backlog and just enjoy the game. I did play without a guide and it probably bit me in the ass, but there are so many good guides out there I was able to get back on track and complete the game. Popular Post Vampirehunter145
I know i'm that late but i have free time until now so i will write my accomplishments on the month of January. I got some progress on: 1.- Castlevania: Advance Collection. Pushed further on Harmony of Dissonance and defeated my few share of bosses while experimenting with the sub weapons and their combination with the magic books. Surprisingly for me, sometimes, sub weapons alone are most effective than combining a magic book with a sub weapon. 2.- Castlevania Requiem: Got the trophy for sitting in the chair and being "confessed" in Symphony of the Night. I made no more progress as i directed my "batteries" to Advance Collection. 3.- Injustice: Gods Among Us (PS3 version): One day that i was free from work, i tested my PS3, updated the internet connection and checked my pending games on that system. Everything fine and discovered that one of my cousins played the Injustice PS3 version (honestly i am no fan of stacking versions of the same game), so i took advantage and got some easy trophies incluiding some that are achievable with 2 controllers (i have two for the PS3). 4.- Got some more "Battle" wins in Bleach: Brave Souls. Currently sitting right now in 190 (only 60 more to finish this hell of a chore and score another 100% list to my bag). I am eager to finish off this and start pushing on Yugioh: Legacy of the duelist (currently i purchased all of the DLC content for the game and that includes a Monarch deck i'm willing to test in the "Challenge" mode). Goals for February: 1.- Keep pushing in the "Battle" mode for Bleach and finish it ASAP. It's slowly "burning" me so i alternate with other games. 2.- Continuing with my Castlevania "crusade". 3.- Slowly attain progress on Genshin Impact (and if a trophy pops, it is welcomed). 4.- Start the "cleanup" on Yugioh: Legacy of the Duelist (and get another 100% list). Hope to see you in March with the "February update". Edited February 27, 2023 by Vampirehunter145

Popular Post da-Noob123
Alrighty, weekly update time. Hogwarts Legacy 31% > 95% Massive increase here as expected. Like most RPG's, you need to pump a while before the water starts flowing - the bulk of this week was spent completing all challenges and collecting all collectibles. It paid off Saturday evening and I completed the story today leaving only 3 trophies which each require a partial playthrough. I will save my in depth thoughts on the game for the monthly review since it is so close. Hopefully I can knock out 1 or 2 partial playthroughs today and get the platinum Monday or Tuesday. Next up, finishing off Fallout: New Vegas. Have a good week!
Popular Post stuthesheep
This Week God of War (2018) 0% -> 31% Another new game on the profile means another temporarily negative week. Totally worth it. Took a little while to get to grips with things - mostly thanks to having come from finishing an Assassin's Creed game that could easily be platinumed while eating a sandwich at the same time - but once I got the hang of the combat it ended up being relatively plain sailing. Finished the main story line after a completely blind playthrough and missed quite a lot of stuff on the way, which has meant that getting the collectibles/miscellaneous stuff/whatnot might take a little longer than it would have otherwise, but that's cool. Rest of the trophies don't seem too daunting at first glance - although I randomly happened upon a Valkyrie in the midgame of the story and ended up taking a bit of a battering in an embarrassingly short time, so those fights might end up being an adventure when the time comes. Still, that's what Easy difficulty is for.

Even on Easy though, it still took me another hour to beat her. They are tough but it was satisfying taking them down. I am really glad the new GoW's don't have any difficulty trophies, they are just too long to play at that level, 8-10 hours for the original series sure but 40+ nah I am good. Started @ 66.07% now @ 72.71% - Goal 75% Week 1 > 0.47% increase Week 2 > 1.57% increase - Platinum's = 1 Week 3 > 1.37% increase - Platinum's = 2 Week 4 > 1.40% increase - Platinum's = 3 Week 5 > 1.12% increase - Platinum's = 1 Week 6 > 0.77% increase - Platinum's = 1 Week 7 > 0.11% increase - Platinum's = 0 Games played this week: really slow week. I found myself playing casually on a few competitive online games all week. I needed to scratch that itch as it has been so long lol. Rocket league: 0% > 67% > 83% > 88% > 90% playing casually and unlocked a few trophies Apex Legends: 49% > 63% Seeing Doc and Zlaner playing this on friday gave me the urge to play over the weekend. I managed to unlock two trophies doing so. Back log games I'm looking to improve upon or complete: Thief - 28% (not played in years) Marvel's spider man - 97% (New game plus and ultimate difficulty) After a week off of the grind, it's time to get back on the saddle. I see a lot of free time on my schedule this week to do a proper jump in percentage. I may need to sprinkle in some competitive gameplay in the mix from now on to avoid getting burned out. I'm an FPS competitive gamer at the core and grinding these story's and trophies over the past 2 months have not been satisfying that need. Season 2 of MW2 finally brought in ranked play and I feel like it's about to take over my gaming time. Hopefully I stay on track Congrats to everyone on the progress.
