First Game was Frozen Free Fall on the 1st of January [ I keep returning to this game periodically every now and then ].

Oddworld: Soulstorm = 150 hrs

Hogwarts Legacy PS5 version = 147 hrs

God of War: Ragnarok = 120 hrs

Total of 424 Trophies with an increase of levelling of 11 levels: 10 Platinum, 61 Gold, 115 Silver, and 244 Bronze trophies this year.

 

A Total of 906 Hours, 78.26% and 14 games on PS5 and 9 on PS4 and DualSense Controller Favoured [ how it knew I was using the Crimson Red, because it pictured that one I have no idea].

 

Friend Maker with having 2 friends added this year.

 

I wrote all this down as my Mac didn't like it, the fan went mental [ first time I have ever heard the fan on this computer ].  Pity there is no BB Code like last year.

Slowest year I've had since ever, PC and Switch stats are most likely lower even combined.

 

Honorable mentions to Armored Core VI, Nier Automata, Sonic Frontiers, Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII and Street Fighter VI were my top 5 favorite games played of 2023 (by order 1-5)

 

Wasn't expecting much from Diablo IV and got it for 20 euros because of a cashback voucher after a purchase. Ended up being the one who played the most out of my friends (also the one who had the least interested before it released). Can say I had fun since it was a brainless grind game when I felt like sit back and pass time.

Mine is basically what I expected it to be. I got the Roleplayer title as well. I knew Monster Hunter and Mass Effect were going to be on there but I didn't think I spent that much time playing RE4 Remake.

Some things of note here: PS3 stats are nowhere to be found here again, so it's actually missing two of my first Platinums this year (Pure and LEGO Batman 3), alongside any Bronze, Silver and Gold trophies contained within. I'm sure these numbers would have been a lot higher if I didn't lack access to a PS4 for half the year, but alas. Looks like the tracking bug that PS4 players were experiencing doesn't apply here, evidenced by the tracking of my Rez Infinite playtime (which apparently took me almost as much time to complete as MediEvil, even though it felt way shorter). Not sure what a session is counted as here, because those stats would only make sense if that counted as launching a game, no matter how long you played for. I imagine the bulk of December's 224 "sessions" is just me frustratedly save-scumming in Dig Dug. I hope these monthly stats stick around for future Wrap-Up reports - it's actually rather fascinating to know what you were up to in any given month. As an aside, the slide that showed me the first game I played in 2023 called Lumines Remastered "a banger", and they're 100% right about that. Play Lumines. I am begging you.

 

Also, very funny for my PS Plus playlist to recommend that I check out LittleBigPlanet 3 sometime.

not surprised tbh each of those games were long grinds to get all the trophies in, with Capcom I had to leave the game running on in the background for soooooo many hours

I am pretty sure that Playstation counts the total time the console was on not the time playing. Netflix etc. seams to count to the total time as well... can someone confirm?
