Mathematically speaking is best to get the dlcs trophies os start new platinums? I usually don't play dlcs because they're too expensive in my country currency so i always choose if im willing to spend money, i spend in new games

(i tested this recently: played a new game, persona 4 dancing, 100%'d it and only had a 0.07% increase in my completion percentage. whereas when i 100%'d a game that was on my profile for quite some time already, my completion percentage increased by about 0.7%.) maybe try working on gold/silver trophies you're missing? you can always check the trophy advisor tab in your profile to see which silver/gold trophies you haven't earned that are pretty common (and should therefore, be relatively easy to earn)

If you just add new games and complete them 100% you will see an increase but it will be very small, like a 0.0X% increase. For more significant gains you will need to earn your currently unearned trophies. I recommend adding the DLC's you need to your PSN wishlist so you get a notification when they go on sale. Some games like RE7 and TLoUp2 have some free DLC you can do. Also, you got some games you can still clean up the base game list, assuming you still own or have access to them. Popular Post Squirlruler
Update #1: Well, new year, new resolve to do these weekly updates (that will stop after about 10 lmfaooo) Anyway, here's my update: Final Fantasy Crystal Chonicles (57% -> 57%): This one is just a slog. I am working on collecting all the artifacts. Currently at 59/79. Sometimes I can find groups that are clearing the higher dungeons and they carry me. But finding that and the right dungeon hasn't been too successful lol. Oh well, back to the grind. Call of Duty: Black Ops (19% -> 19%): This is one on my back log. I am not looking forward to spending $60 on the DLC to get the 100%, so if anyone knows a way I can get it cheaper than that, please let me know. Working my way through Veteran. Should give a nice boost to completion once done though. Mirror's Edge (36% -> 36%): Another one from my back log. It was at 1% last year, and I finished the main story up on the 1st. I really enjoyed this game. Nervous for the all the speed runs and trials, but hopefully won't be too bad. Going to do Hard, then start on the speed runs. Trials will be last. Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God (25% -> 26%): This is my vita game I am working on. man, it's so great. I really like this style of dungeon crawling. I am on the last "story" dungeon, then have the post game dungeon, then a TON of grinding. So TT has a couple targets for starting games and completing games, so here are those: Storm Boy, Endling, Reverie. I choose these because they were short, easy, and fit into my bingo card lol. Next Monday will be the mid-month stats posting. This will be the only mid-month one, just to make sure things look good.
Popular Post no_imjayden
Figured I'd do weekly updates as well January (week 1) update: Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! (100%) Here's a hot take: I did not enjoy the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Never played the original series, so there wasn't any nostalgia for me. I've heard nothing but praise for this game, so it did disappoint me quite a bit. That being said, it is a decently fun and easy platinum Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (0% -> 7%) Sort of the same as Spyro 2. I've been quite busy and haven't been able to play on my ps4 in a while, so it's still pretty low in terms of percentage completion. One Piece: Burning Blood (0% -> 74%) A really fun game I've been playing on my ps vita. Not very fun when the AI stun locks you, but that's probably on me for being pretty bad at the game. Almost done with it, just gotta wrap up a few WANTED posters and grind a bit more. And there's the online, which I'm hoping I can finish soon Genshin Impact [NA & EU stacks] (98% -> 98%) Left with one extremely grindy trophy, maxing out Fontaine's reputation level. In hindsight I should have started working towards this trophy as early as I could've, as the main way to raise reputation is through weekly quests. Now I'm just logging in every week to complete these quests. also it is just me or does PNSP keep crashing on mobile? i swear i can't type a sentence without it crashing/randomly inserting spaces everywhere and i have to keep deleting them. Popular Post neospoon
Update 1 Here's the first update of this year! I'm not sure how often I will update but I'll figure it out as I go. The format will probably also change throughout the year until I'm happy with it. So far the first week was a decent one. I played a total of six games and finished two of them to 100%. Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 | 21/52 | 37% I shot sh*t and got trophies What I meant to say was, I finished the online part of Red Dead Redemption 2. I'm not sure when I will go back to this game as it is a huge undertaking to do the single player stuff. I am looking forward to playing it just not right now. Deliver Us Mars PS5 | 34/34 | 100% | This was the first new game I played this year and immediately dropped my percentage below 80% again. Luckily its a nice short game so it didn't take too long to get back to where I was. I have to say though that this game was not as good as Deliver Us the Moon. I guess it was the characters talking and the stupid climbing mechanics that they added to this one. All in all still happy to have finished it as my first game of the year. Immortals Fenyx Rising PS5 | 53/69 | 66% I got the platinum on this game in July of 2021. Never had any interest in the DLC as I found the game kind of generic. Not bad, but nothing special either. I managed to get one whole trophy in the DLC and messed up because I missed a missable trophy and have to start it over again. Enough reason to put it back on the shelve for now. Comix Zone PS3 | 12/12| 100% Now this little gem from 1995 was really enjoyable. Most likely due to the added save feature which made this game a lot easier compared to when it first released. I'm not a huge fan of retro/pixelated games anymore but this one was pretty good! Sadly it only has 12 trophies and not a platinum, but I guess you can't complain about something that only takes a few hours at most. NeverDead PS3 | 35/43 | 63% I finished the Multiplayer late last year on NeverDead. I still need to get all collectibles and play the game on the highest difficulty. Shouldn't be too much work. Hopefully this one will be done by the time I post my next update. MotoGP 21 PS4 | 51/51| 100% | A little grindy at the end but nothing serious. After completing two full seasons in MotoGP you can retire every single race and just focus on managing the Junior team. I was aiming for this platinum to be done by the end of this week, but when I figured out I could retire, it was done in about an hour or so. Nice addition to the MotoGP platinums I already have! The Statistics Original Starting PCG: 80.08% > 80.21% (+0.13) Goal: 85.08% Total Trophies: 17113 > 17165 (+52) Total Started Games: 500 = 500 Total Completed Games: 325 > 328 (+3) Total Platinums: 316 > 318 (+2) @Squirlruler If you're looking for someone to team up for Black Ops (or any other older CoD) let me know! That game has been on my list for way too long now! Edited January 8 by neospoon
Popular Post PressContinue
Week 1 Update (1/1-1/7) I'm going to try to do weekly updates for this event every Monday, both as a way to give my thoughts on the games I've played the past week and to keep me accountable for this event. Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars (0% --> 100%) My first platinum of the year and the biggest contributor to my completion percentage increase this week. Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars is a crossover action RPG featuring characters from the Neptunia and Senran Kagura series, with writing more similar to Neptunia and gameplay more similar to Senran Kagura but without the clothes tearing and other overt suggestive themes. As someone who enjoys both series, this game was a nice experience. There were a couple late game and post game bosses that gave me fits, but it's ultimately an enjoyable 15-20 hour experience for anyone who's a fan of Neptunia or Senran Kagura. Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed (25% --> 27%) Another Neptunia action RPG, this time for PS Vita. This is also a fun experience more akin to regular Senran Kagura gameplay. This will likely be a slow platinum for me since I just hop in to do a quest or two per night before bed. Mirror 2 (61% --> 80%) A match 3 with battle elements and light suggestive themes. The story ending trophies are pretty easy to earn, but challenge mode can be a hassle. I've managed to clear challenge mode on easy, now I just have to spend some time grinding to beat it on hard mode and hell mode. Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! (51% --> 55%) I've been playing this game on and off (mostly off) for over three years. I grew up loving Guitar Hero and other rhythm games, so I like having one in the rotation to play. That being said, Taiko no Tatsujin is pretty difficult as someone who has more experience with instrument based controllers than standard controllers for rhythm games. I probably won't make a lot of progress on this one, but I felt like I needed to mention it since I did earn a couple trophies this week. Stat Updates Total Completion Percentage: 53.38% --> 53.65% (+0.27%) Total Trophies: 5500 --> 5559 (+59) Platinum trophies: 93 --> 94 (+1) Unearned Trophies: 4792 --> 4778 (-14) Overall a decent week for progress in my opinion. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up for the rest of the year and meet my goals.
freddie1989
Can I still get in on this? My current % is 68.23 and I haven't seen a 70 in years so I would only be aiming for the 5% mark as I sold my PS3 and a lot of the backlog is due to that.

kingofbattle8174
Ok I think I have an idea how I want to tackle this year. I will have one new game going (currently One Piece Odyssey). I will work on story modes to get those finished for older games. I have 67 right now that I have not finished the story. I may start with Koa. I beat the game on my alt account late last year so it should be easy to redo. Lastly individual trophies to get through. These will just be one at a time and a different game each time to keep it fun. They are also what I make videos about as well lately. Not whole plat vids like most make or guides just my fun of going for a trophy. Last trophy completed was the pullups for FF7 remake. Next may be to finaly finish all the single player missions for Star Wars Battlefront.
Shadowlord87
19 hours ago, Llobster12 said: I've never played any Warhammer games, but have always been intrigued as the lore looks pretty interesting. Would you say Chaosbane is as good a place as any to jump into Warhammer, or is there a better entry point lore-wise? (look at me already considering adding to my list of games I want to complete this year) If you are looking for longer games to keep you busy until FF7 Rebirth comes out, I could recommend taking a look at Returnal and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. I believe both are on PS Extra, and both are pretty lengthy completions. Dragon's Dogma II comes out this year, so now's a good time to jump into that if the game looks interesting to you. I do actually won both Returnal & Dragon's Dogma (ps3 version), good shout on those Chaosbane isn't super in depth with the Lore, but probably gives you enough of a gist as to the setting. Sadly there's never been all that many Fantasy video game adaptations, of the few that have made their way to Playstation: Warhammer Quest- An adaptation of the boardgame of the same name. I very much enjoyed this, played alot of IOS, Platinum looks likie it could be pretty painful to do though. Warhammer Quest 2- Gameplay completely differant to the first, and jsut looks genuinely crap. Warhamemr Vermintide 1 & 2- I've not played either of these, but heard very good things. There are also 2 Age of Sigmar games so far, which is the follow up setting to Warhammer, after the universe was blown up. I intend to give both of these a look at some point. If you are a pc gamer also, the Total Warhamemr games are worth a look, pricy though.

A note on TLoUp2, you can use tweaks on Grounded to make it a cakewalk. Presuming you didn't spend all your "points" from Platinuming the game, you can purchase one hit bullets, one hit melee, etc and do a NG+ Grounded Permadeath (Chapter) speedrun. Alternatively, if you did use up your points, do a speedrun Permadeath (Chapter) to get points for tweaks on your Grounded run. @kingofbattle8174 Last trophy completed was the pullups for FF7 remake. Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 1. 1/8/2024 Starting PCG 62.07% Previous Week -- Current PCG 62.16% Goal = 67.07% Games - Helldivers 9% 22% Meet Your Maker 89% 94% SD Gundam Battle Alliance 50% 1/8/2024 First update of the new year! Off to a decent start. I saw the notice about the Bug homeworld being under attack in Helldivers so I jumped on and completed some easy missions. That got me a couple of trophies, and then the Cyborg planet fell just a few days later so I was able to snag the gold trophy for taking part in a successful Galactic Campaign, too. Nice! I was also able to get most of the co-op trophies in Meet Your Maker thanks to a game session here. I wasn't able to get the one for activating your base with a co-op partner though because the game kept crashing when I tried to load up my base. From reading around, it seems like that happens when you try to load into a larger base in co-op. I built a couple of smaller bases to try for it again. If anyone wants to knock out those co-op trophies on PS4 let me know, here or on PSN. They're super quick and easy (aside from the crashing). And my first platinum trophy of the year is SD Gundam Battle Alliance. I really liked the game, even if it did get a bit grindy at the end. There's still way more to see and unlock, but the backlog calls so I'm moving on. I've also been trying to get the Hell of a Sheriff trophy in RE2 Remake but no luck so far. That's the last one I need for the 100%. I've tried like 3 different YouTube guides, as well as just winging it, but the furthest I've made it so far is 80 kills. This is at the top of my "almost done" list so I'll keep plugging away and hopefully finish it off this week. Have a good week! Edit - @Squirlruler My stats look good, but my name is listed twice. Popular Post AshestoAshes28
January Week 1 Update (01/01/2024 - 10/01/2024) So I meant to update this on Monday, but I've been at work and it's been a rough one lately, so I completely forgot. However, I've got a few days off now so really hoping to make a dent in a couple of games before I go back and the madness continues. Finally sorted out my layout for the year, I've put all my 2024 goals in a spoiler tag at the bottom and have also added/clarified a couple. Excited to get some progress made! Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - 0% - 100% You are looking at my first platinum of the year and I absolutely enjoyed this one. In this instalment, Ratchet & Clank literally tear open the dimensions and end up stuck in an alternate one. While trying to figure out a way home and defeat Dr. Nefarious, they meet the dimensions versions of themselves in the form of new characters, Rivet and Kit. The story was a joy to play through and I loved the little conversations they had with each other while I was casually running around, and it just made it feel that little bit more personal, if that makes sense. I also loved the addition of the two new characters and really hope to see them in the next game, whenever that is, or possibly something similar. I've only become a recent Ratchet & Clank fan, but I have really enjoyed my time with the two I have played, and may possibly look at the back catalogue, well when my backlog gives me chance anyway😂. Yakuza: Like a Dragon - 0% - 30% With Infinite Wealth coming out in two weeks on Friday, I've been trying to get through this since before Christmas. I have played it before, but a couple of years ago on Game Pass, so I wanted a refresher, and it does not disappoint! I'm not looking forward to seeing the last of Kiryu, he's one of my favourite game characters, but I do think they have made a brilliant new character for the series to go forward with, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Kasuga's story evolves over the next few years. I like the new turn based combat system and I love the references to Dragon Quest, another of my favourite game series! The storytelling in these games is out of this world and I just know I'm going to get sucked in for at least a month if I so much as look at one of these games on my game shelf 😂. Anyway, I'm currently at Chapter 12 and it's getting real now, so I'm trying to spend some time levelling up in the battle arenas before taking on the next few chapters/bosses. Stat Updates: Total Completion Percentage - 71.93% --> 72.54% (+0.61%) Total Trophies: 1870 --> 1926 (+56) Platinum trophies: 39 --> 40 (+1) Total Completed Games: 38 --> 39 (+1) Spoiler 2024 Goals: - Achieve 100 Platinum - 💫Achieve 80% Completion💫 - ⚔️Discover a New Game Series (Final Fantasy, Baldur's Gate)🎲 - 🐉Platinum at least ONE Yakuza/Like a Dragon game🐉 Edited January 10 by AshestoAshes28

Popular Post Hurricane_Tanya
First update: 68.47 >> 68.56% Not much of an update, but any progress up is good. I’m slowly trying to complete RDR2 for platinum 100, but my time on it is quite limited between my kids getting scared of the hunting side of things, and my partner not finishing the game yet and me not wanting to spoil anything for him. In between hunting/gold medal sessions I’ve been playing other games. I finished Firewatch, which was very lovely to look at and had an intriguing story. I also started Submerged, a game I bought years ago and never got to, it’s another lovely looking game with an intriguing narrative, although I think I’ve been spoiled on the ending due to a few people playing this and the sequel for another event. I’ve decided that I would really like to get below 1500 unearned trophies this year. There’s also a few games that I keep planning to play and then put off so they’ll be another priority this year. - Alan Wake Remastered - The Last of Us Remastered - Two Point Hospital - Watch Dogs - Deus Ex Mankind Divided So those will be my main goals this year, along with getting my completion percentage to 76.93%

Popular Post kingofbattle8174
First Official Friday Update Original Starting PCG: 63.59% Goal: 75% Current PCG: 63.64% (+.05) Alright here we go, looking good if not a bit slow to start off the year. Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara 1%>>>20% Star Wars Battle Front Your Journey has only Started. (Finished all the single player missions) So I only had 4 survival missions to go for this. The first one I did, i was only going to practice, but had a good run going so went to finish it off. When I did I popped a trophy, but I was confused later as I earned that trophy in 2019. The next day I went back and finished the last three with a bit of struggle, those ATST's are a pain solo. I will keep working on Koa, I did knock off a few non story related trophies with that one. One Piece has not earned a trophy yet. So no backwards progress so far. Next 4 trophies to hunt Halloween Forever: 1 HP mode Kingdom Hearts 3: 50 Photos A Kings Tale FF15: Combo King Stranger Things 3: New Game +

Popular Post ElrayMickaelius
Count me in! After a relatively successful year, despite falling just short of my goal, I'm eager to take another shot at the 10% this year, aiming for a target of 98%. Starting point: 87.27% Completion 385 Unearned Trophies 13 Uncompleted games. I'm thrilled to receive your updates; they truly provide that extra boost of motivation! Looking forward to our collective journey and the updates! Let's conquer those percentages! Let's go!
Popular Post ConAir
I would like to join as well. After finishing Omno I'm now at 62.01%. It won't get any better. Goals: - At least grow overall percentage to 67%. (with 70% as extended goal). - Grab more Ultra rare Platinum Trophies this year than last year (just 2). - Lower unearned Trophies by 500 (at 6888 now). - Unlock Platinum Trophy #200 (suggestions for the game from my profile welcome -> Red Dead Redemption and DIRT 2.0 crossed my mind).
