AshestoAshes28
Just checking, but do we post on here when we complete a game and then post the new stats after completing it? Or do we do a big update post once a week or month or something like that? First time in the event, so just want to make sure before I post 🙂 Edited January 4 by AshestoAshes28

Here is a couple of the more common types of posts: Weekly: A weekly review of games you have played, progress earned. Monthly: Same as weekly, but just for the month. Every month, on the 1st, I will post a summary of your profile stats from data I pull directly from PSN API. But really, your updates can be pretty free form. We don't have any rules restricting it. Just try not to spam (IE, playing 10 ezpz games, just do one update instead of listing them out). You can look at the 2023 thread and you can find how the stats are going to look from my previous postings. You can also look through that and see how other people post their stuff. :]
RoastedPeanut
I'd love to jump in this year! I've already said to myself that this will be a big backlog year for me, so yeah I'm definitely in. I'm currently sitting at 61.08% but I'm aiming for 72.50% this year

Popular Post Llobster12
Update 1 Overall Completion Percentage: 93.10% --> 93.21% (+0.12%) Change From Last Update: 93.10% --> 93.21% (+0.12%) Goal: 96.00% ---- (2.79% to go!) Plats Earned: 146 --> 147 (+1 from last update, +1 overall) Games Completed: 174 --> 175 (+1 from last update, +1 overall) Unearned Trophies: 468 --> 454 (155 to go!) Uncompleted Games: 15 --> 14 (-4 to reach goal) What I've Been Playing Resident Evil 0 (PS4) 8% --> 57% --> 100% (plat #147) First plat of the year done! I had already finished off a blind playthrough on normal last week, so this week I started off with getting the no save run done. I was over-ambitious at first and tried to combine the no-save run with the no healing run and ended up dying at the very last boss twice. After that I decided to split the runs up (which I should've done from the start anyways) and had two pretty smooth runs to get each of those done. I then went through and beat the game on hard. After that the final trophy was to defeat a mimicry zombie with only the knife so I started up a game on easy. It took about 20ish minutes to get to one and defeat it,and with that the plat was mine! I enjoyed the game a lot, probably not as much as the original one, but still liked it quite a bit. I really enjoy the format of the RE trophy lists so far (I've only done the first one and this) where you do multiple playthroughs and know the game like the back of your hand by the time you're done. Among Us VR 0 (PSVR2) 46% --> 46% No trophy progress, but making slow progress on the 100 wins, 150 kills, and some other stuff. What's Next? -Start God of War! Finally! Personal Gaming Goals for the Year The last couple of years I've put down some extra goals for myself here and it seems to help me stay focused and get done most of what I want to. So beyond the goal for this event to end the year at or above 96%, here is what I'd like to accomplish this year: Goal 1: Finish the year with under 300 unearned trophies. Goal 2: Finish the year with 10 or fewer uncompleted games on my profile. Goal 3: Dust off and complete the following old backlog games: SSX (PS3) - last trophy: July 2013 Hyper Light Drifter (PS4) - last trophy: July 2018 Downwell (PS4) - last trophy: September 2017 Nioh (PS4) - last trophy: January 2020 There aren't too many uncompleted games left on my profile, basically all that is left are difficult ones I've been nervous to attempt. Hopefully I can manage all of these. Goal 4: Complete a JRPG This was a goal from last year that I didn't complete. This was my favorite genre growing up, so I'd like to get back to them. Still deciding between the same games as I was considering last year, it's probably gonna be a last second decision. Deciding between FFXIII-2, Dragon Quest XI, and Battle Chasers: Nightwar. Goal 5: Complete a fighting game Another goal I had from last year that didn't complete so I'll put it on my list this year. I've decided on completing GranBlue Fantasy Versus Goal 6: Complete Hollow Knight legit without using the glitch on the pantheon Goal 7: Start and complete the following games from my not-started backlog: (Some of these are left over from last year's goals that I didn't complete) Resident Evil 0 (PS4) (already finished this week) God of War (PS4) Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep (PS4) Darksiders (PS4) Shadow of the Colossus (PS4) Hue (PS4) Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS5) The Riftbreaker (PS5) Othercide (PS4) No Man's Sky (PS5) Demon's Souls (PS5) Dredge (PS5) Deliver Us The Moon (PS5) Inscryption (PS5) Death's Door (PS5) Oxenfree II: Lost Signals (PS5) The Messenger (PS4) Goal 7: Complete 6 VR games I believe I've narrowed it down to these 6: Among Us VR Cave Digger VR Red Matter Synapse Altair Breaker Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate I might do more, but this will be what I try to get done. Goal 8: Give my PS3 some love and complete the following games I've wanted to get to for a long time: Ratched & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal 3D Dot Game Heroes Alice: Madness Returns Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Infamous Remember Me Well, that's 36 games I'm committing myself to for this year with one already done this week. Looking back over my list there are quite a few that will require a serious time commitment. Of course I'm sure there will also be other games besides those I've listed that catch my eye or that that I decide to play for one reason or another. It will be a stretch to get all of these done, but I'll give it my best shot. Anyways, I'm looking forward to another year of trophy hunting and completion raising! I'm also very much looking forward to reading about everyone else's adventures! Happy trophy hunting everyone and good luck! 2024 Games to Complete 1 of 36 PS3 - 0 of 7 3D Dot Game Heroes Alice: Madness Retruns Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Infamous Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal Remember Me SSX (previously started --> 5%) PSVR2 - 0 of 6 Altair Breaker Among Us VR (currently playing -> 46%) Cave Digger VR Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate (previously started -> 59%) Synapse Red Matter PS4 - 1 of 13 Darksiders Downwell (previously started -> 7%) God of War (previously started -> 1%) Granblue Fantasy Versus Hollow Knight Hue Hyper Light Drifter (previously started -> 1%) Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Nioh (previously started -> 9%) Othercide Resident Evil 0 (0%--> 56%-->100%) completed Jan 4 Shadow of the Colossus The Messenger PS5 - 0 of 9 Death's Door Deliver Us The Moon Demon's Souls Dredge Final Fantasy VII Remake Inscryption No Man's Sky Oxenfree II The Riftbreaker TBD JRPG Edited January 5 by Llobster12 grammer/formatting

Achievable and I am hoping to get below 8000 unearned this year. Nowhere near as low as yours, but we have different goals. Goal 2: Finish the year with 10 or fewer uncompleted games on my profile. Great goal, you'll be free to enjoy whatever you want then. Goal 3: Dust off and complete the following old backlog games: Some good game options, reminds me of the games that are 14 years old on my profile... Goal 4: Complete a JRPG - From the options you have, if you enjoy Final Fantasy, XIII-2 is trophy friendly in comparisont to most others, Dragon Quest I have heard is very fun if quite grindy and Battle Chasers: Nightwar is one of my favourite western JRPG's around and will take about 80 hours to complete it twice. Goal 5: Complete a fighting game - Your choice is also one I started this year for another backlog challenge and I totally recommend it. The game is beautiful, fun and is easy to pick up and play. Something we are working on together. Goal 6: Complete Hollow Knight legit without using the glitch on the pantheon - I will give major props if you can, I couldn't but it was only thing I couldn't do. Keep at it, it is possible. Goal 7: Start and complete the following games from my not-started backlog: Some great games there and I would wholeheartedly recommend Darksiders, God of War, Dredge, Othercide, Death's Door and The Messenger. Goal 7 8: Complete 6 VR games - I really need to plug in my VR set and try out the games I have. Synapse and Altair Breaker look really fun. Goal 8 9: Give my PS3 some love and complete the following games I've wanted to get to for a long time - I have a similar goal to finish at least 15 games from my PS3 backlog, going back to the oldies! I love this, this is very similar to my goals for this year, but maybe a bit of a larger list to go through. Some notes above

My 13 year old son finished the pantheon legit last year and sort of threw the gauntlet down. I have to meet the challenge or forever be humiliated lol. I'd love to see your list of games you are planning on completing this year! 3
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Happy Sunday all! My first update for this event. WIll be keeping the same format as last year and will try to give an update every week. I am happy that I am not alone having a large amount of unearned trophies on my profile! We are all in this together ☺️ Red Dead Redemption 2 - PS5 - 6% => 8% Right, where do I start with this one? Started this many years ago but the loading times on the PS4 were just insane. It goes a lot smoother on the PS5. This game is huge! I am playing it since mid December and I am still in chapter 3....This game is made with a lot of love for gamers. There is so much to do, to see. This happens to me a lot; riding out to a main quest marker and underway coming across so many things that I compeltely forgot about my main goal. And before I know it my afternoon/evening is gone without finishing the main objective 😇. Need to focus a bit more. There is one really big downside on the trophy list and that are the Gold medals for all main missions. I read for some you need to skip the cut scene in order to reach certain time limits. But that is wasting my gaming experience! So I probably will need to redo a lot of missions after I finish the story....It would have been fair if you could already manage to get them at a first try. Anyway, I don't want to complain as I can easily see why this game is in the top 10 all time for the PS4 No progress: It Takes Two - PS5 Status With the very slow progress of RDR2, I probably will play a game next to it. One where I do not depend on others like It Takes Two. Not sure if I take on of my backlog started or backlog not-started. But for my sanity I need to earn some trophies while working on RDR2..... Next week: - Play RDR2 - play ?
Popular Post InfinateEternity
Update 1: January 1st-6th, 2024 I figured do updates for this event on Saturdays so that I can hold myself accountable, and make tracking my numbers easier. I know I can be wordy. So, I will try to make these updates as brief as possible. Stats (Original numbers were grabbed from this post.) Overall Completion Percentage: 54.47% -> 54.59% (+0.12) | Goal: 70% Total Trophies: 8,149 -> 8,175 (+26) Total Points: 249,240 -> 250,170 (+930) Total Started Games: 431 -> 432 (+1) Total Completed Games: 187 -> 188 (+1) Total Platinums: 124 -> 125 (+1) Games Played This Week: This week, my main focus was cleaning up and getting the platinum for SoulCalibur 5, as I only had two grindy trophies left - getting my profile to level 99, and accumulating 87,600m of movement in battle. It's your standard fighting game, akin to the Mortal Kombat series (I know you all probably know that, but you never know who reads these.) The level 99 grind wasn't too terrible. I only had 9 levels to go and using ring-outs made getting wins quick and easy. But, whoever came up with the movement grind - well, I have questions, because 87,600m is a completely unnecessary number. I was only about halfway (roughly) when it was the last thing I had to focus on. But, it's done, at least (after almost 12 years, too!). Otherwise, I spent the rest of the week, playing games related to my entry in the Platinum Difficulty Challenge. I'm having a ton of fun playing through The Legend of Dragoon (which is a total hit of JRPG nostalgia. Will likely have more to say next update when I have it finished!). I also both started - and almost finished - Paraiso Island, a simple slice-of-life F2P 100% game that doesn't really have much of a story at all. It's mostly fetch quests. I would've had it done for this update if not for a pesky trophy that makes you collect a daily reward every day for a week. Finally, I was in the mood to return to the Vita version of Taiko no Tatsujin, and got the trophy related to clearing 25 songs on the Hard difficulty mode. I have 3 trophies left to get the plat for the game. 2 related to a mission/story mode grind, which I should get with time, and 1 related to clearing songs on Extreme/Oni mode, the hardest difficulty in the game. That, may or may not happen for me. We'll see how things go this year. Edited January 7 by InfinateEternity

Popular Post Shadowlord87
Update 1: January 7th Starting Completion Percentage: 97.81% Week 1 Completion: 97.82% (+0.01) Terminator Salvation 0% -> 100% Warhammer: Chaosbane 0% - 100% Weekly Update Time So here we go again, welcome to another attack on completion all Thought I'd kickstart the year with the OG of easy trophy lists (although not neccessarily an easy game), Terminator Salvation, a lucky find, for cheap (£0.50) in a local 2nd hadn shop Also played and completed Chaosbane this week. As a long term Warhamemr Fantasy fan, I quite liiked this. Somewhat repetitive, but thankfully theresd a very beneficial glitch to bring the grind to much more tolerable levels. Next I plan to finally get around to playing Aliens: Fireteam Elite. This should keep me occupied for a few weeks, which is fine, as I intend platinum 350 to be for FF7:Rebirth, so wanted something a bit longer to pass the time in between.
Popular Post stuthesheep
Last Week Grand Theft Auto V 41% -> 47% Omno 0% -> 100% First off, I've set myself similar very achievable goals to last year - however that's more down to not having the energy and desire to tinker with my spreadsheet layout than a great desire to reach the actual targets, so I won't be too bothered if I end up falling short of them this year. I might end up adjusting the trophies one once I come up with a plan as to what I'm going to play this year, but I can't be bothered adjusting and re-pasting the spreadsheet right now. Most of the past week - like most of the last month - has been spent in Los Santos, story and collectible grind was completed late last year and only managed to earn two trophies this week - one for the hobbies golds (it was nice to be reminded exactly how much I hate golf) and one for 100% completion. Luckily 100 % completion doesn't involve actually 100%-ing everything and I've only had the skill and patience to nail 8 of the 15 knife flights. Fortunately that's all I needed. Unfortunately there's a trophy tied to doing them all, so the platinum will probably remain a distant dream. However as I don't really want to get sucked into GTA Online just yet, that's not a problem at all. I might give it a try later in the year, or maybe early next year before GTA6 comes out and everyone starts playing that instead, but that's a decision for future me. The only other thing I want to get in GTA5 before moving on is the 70 gold medals. It's much more forgiving than the golds for RDR2 in that you can do each individual objective in seperate runs, so it should be relatively straightforward to tick off. Just been working my way down the main and side quests without picking and choosing (skipping the ones I remember being quite tricky to meet the objectives) and currently got 55 of the 70 needed. Hopefully won't be too many troubles in finishing that off. I also took on Omno this week before it leaves Extra later in the month, which was a nice diversion. Puzzles had a nice balance between having to actually think about things and not being that difficult that I wanted to kill myself and everybody around me to solve them and it was very pretty. Some of the platforming was a bit iffy in places, although as ever that might be more of a skill issue on my part. Enjoyable game for a few hours though, well worth a playthrough. Not quite decided what to do next week once the golds in GTA are in the books, but quite tempted to give the first Plague Tale a shot.

Hey, back to give unsolicited advice once again. Have you considered cleaning up the DLC for some of the games you have? I now that The Last of Us Pt2 has a glitch to make the DLC a breeze as does the Uncharted games I believe. You also have 1 trophy left in Astro's Playroom and I can help out with the last couple of Rocket League trophies for the Clubs Update. Somewhere to start...

I've never played any Warhammer games, but have always been intrigued as the lore looks pretty interesting. Would you say Chaosbane is as good a place as any to jump into Warhammer, or is there a better entry point lore-wise? (look at me already considering adding to my list of games I want to complete this year) If you are looking for longer games to keep you busy until FF7 Rebirth comes out, I could recommend taking a look at Returnal and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. I believe both are on PS Extra, and both are pretty lengthy completions. Dragon's Dogma II comes out this year, so now's a good time to jump into that if the game looks interesting to you. 3 hours ago, stuthesheep said: Not quite decided what to do next week once the golds in GTA are in the books, but quite tempted to give the first Plague Tale a shot. I don't think you'd regret doing the first A Plague's Tale. I really enjoyed that one and it's a nice chill platinum.
