Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 178 - GOD OF WAR Date of Achievement : April 26 , 2018Enjoyment : Difficult : 4,0Hardest Trophy : Chooser of the Slain God of War 2018 is a chronologically sequel to God of War which marked the conclusion of the Greek mythology trilogy. Here we see a older Kratos with his younger son Atreus in a quest to fulfill the last wish and promise to his late wife, spread her ashes upon the highest peak of the nine realms. Still troubled by his past and the consequences it may come to his son upon learning the truth of his origins, Kratos does everything he can to keep the truth hidden while managing to provide a touching and heartfelt parenthood all the way through, as Kratos himself once said, the truth comes with consequences, so he'll try everything he can to keep his son safe, specially after a stranger comes unannounced presuming his true identity and stirring havoc. God of War 2018 is also a new direction for the series, here we will see Kratos and his son Atreus amidst Norse mythology, making this not only the first game with a different approach in gameplay but also on the story itself. Spoiler Lastly I really want to applaud Santa Monica for everything they did here, for being such a beloved franchise, they deserve all the praise for how well they managed to create this one from the ground up and push the series even further, Santa Monica definitely cemented their spot on the high pedestal of gaming excellence

The terrorist hunt trophies are a bit grindy and some of the mp trophies are a little luck based, but nothing too hard. I liked the variety of the operators in this game but it was only fun playing it with friends. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#266 - Tera A decent enough MMO, that has a bunch of flaws. The performance is awful and the texture popping and draw distance is the worst I've seen in the game so far. A lot of the menus also don't work well with a controller. It's not all bad though, as the combat is actually fun, there is no apparent endgame however. Although that might still come with future updates I guess. Those boss trophies can get fucked though, I spent 11 hours waiting for just 1 of the 26 bosses to spawn, the others were reasonably fast at least. Still Just those took me roughly 25 hours alone. Enjoyment: 6.5 Difficulty: 4 (just due to the boss spawn RNG) Edited April 28, 2018 by voodoo_eyes
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #136 God of War [PS4] Father and Son Obtain all other trophies This quickly became my favorite PS4 game hands down. Absolutely loved it. I loved the story, gameplay was fun and I personally had no issues with how the camera worked or was set. Then again, I played on story mode since there wasn't a need to play higher. Even with that some of the Valkyries were still a challenge. Then again [again~], I'm not very good at action games like GoW to begin with. I'm better at shooters than I am at hack-n-slash games. You don't even need to 100% the game to platinum it which is nice. Backtracking is a bit of a pain in the ass. But I did a lot of exploration on my own and got most things on my own with no issue. I really like how the progression works in this game. My only real complaints are that at times Boy will fall very far behind Kratos and you have to wait to progress since you need his arrows. You can even see this in some of PowerPyx's videos for collectables. So it's not just me~ And they could have placed the fast travels better, there should be one at the base of the mountain. Since needing to go through that stupid cave where you're required to climb a wall through it every time is annoying. If you could at least replace the crystal to make the light bridge again it'd be fine but it's a pain otherwise. The music is phenomenal. Graphics are beautiful, though the water isn't that great compared to some other games. Doesn't look bad, but it's not as beautiful as the rest of the game. I noticed a bit of pop in here and there. There's a funny glitch with drops that jump around the ground, one of PowerPyx's video shows this too lol. Two times the dialog cut off which always makes me sad. However, the game is generally really good about that. Since if you're in the boat and you beach it, then it's paused until you return to the boat and it resumes. Which is great, and it prevents you from triggering new dialog that cancels out dialog going on. Which a lot of games suck at. So it's great to see a dev get it, even if there's still some glitches that cause the same issue. And it's also great how much dialog there is to fill 'dead' time waiting for fast travel to load up, going somewhere by boat, or waiting for a new realm to load up too. I didn't run out of dialog until after beating the game and working toward the platinum. And I travelled around a loooooot. There's even quest specific dialog that pops up, so it constantly adds to the list of things you'll hear about. Which is awesome. Gameplay was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it, though I wish I had remapped the controls because I kept messing up since it's a little weird how it is. I like Boy and how you can control his arrows and have him summon things. I could go on, but I loved this game. It was amazing. I'm not a huge GoW fan, as you could see from the lack of it on my profile. I loved the first game, but kind of never beat GoW2, so never played 3, or Ascension... and I never finished the PSP games either. It's a series I've wanted to get back into and finish, and with how much I enjoyed this one. I'll probably get around to that sooner than later.
Popular Post DuckSwimmer
Platinum 60: Pic-a-Pix Color (PS4) Pic-of-the-Bunch Collect all the trophies Enjoyment: 6/10 - Difficulty: 1/10 - with a guide. I did find this game a lot of fun. I previous wanted to buy this for my switch, but was really excited how this came out on PS and bought it there instead. There are soooo many puzzles. Pretty proud I managed to do pages 1 - 8 by myself. At page 9 I needed to start following @ferryjan 's (thank you again for the guide) guide for the remaining solutions because I was extremely burnt out on them and also they started to get pretty complex and time consuming. Overall though a really fun game. Picks at your brain which is nice. Now.. onto Platinuming the Vita version of this ;-;!
TazDevilz1986
SQUAREBOY VS BULLIES (PS4) (EU) #281 DEFEAT ALL THE BULLIES I picked it this up few weeks ago, when it was on sale. A fun game and not too bad, also the crossbuy is a nice plus too getting the Vita version for free. The only tricky part was lvl 13, witch took me a few tries. But if you save the healthpack on the beginning you can make it. The endboss was not hard at all, you can keep jump dash all the time. A quik and easy game. Popular Post I need more BIOSHOCK
Plat 362 Friday the 13th Ah I'm glad that's over with! This game would have been alot more fun if it wasn't so broken. Its not even worth going for online games unless it selects you as the host due to rage quitting dick heads. Lost count of the times I got a good few kills as Jason only to have the host quit and lose any progress. Fuck ANNOYING!!!!! And even if you do get to be the host don't celebrate just yet, alot of the time even though you are in a full lobby of 8 the shit game decides that everyone else just left and you are left on your own forcing you to just quit. Basically just grinded out private matches with my friend and mad appreciation to my man @SlimSanta94 You kept my sanity through this boringhell grind and we at least got many many laughs out of the endless glitches of this broken ass fuck awful game! The glitches and random unexpected funny shit that happens is the one redeeming quality of this shitter of a game imo. I can't wait to exploit the shit out the American stack when it's on sale and watch all these horrible boring excessive trophies auto pop. So yea word of warning! It's fun if you have matchtes with friends but if you want it just for online matches and are hoping to get the plat that way avoid like the plague.
Popular Post DamagingRob
#311- Forma.8 formed Adventurer Unlock all other trophies Eh. An alright game, that is probably very annoying to complete without a video guide. I used this one with commentary, which made things a little more interesting, as there's no dialogue or anything. Not a terrible Plus freebie, but will more than likely forget all about it in time. Spoiler
Popular Post SlimSanta94
Platinum 163 - Monster Hunter: World I managed to finish this with a time of 302 hours & 28 minutes, nowhere near as long as some people i've seen but still an extremely long time and one of the most time consuming platinum trophies i've ever gotten. The game itself was great, the graphics were absolutely stunning, the monsters were exciting and intimidating to hunt and the gameplay was extremely addicting. I really enjoyed the story but for me the endgame itself was far too shallow for me to enjoy fully. In my opinion this game's endgame suffers from the same problem Destiny 2's endgame had, although this is a far better game so the flaws it has don't shine through as much. The main problem I have with games like these are the loot systems. You grind for hundreds of hours, get better loot and then what do you do with that loot? You just do the same stuff you've been doing to get that loot but you just have an easier time with it now. This whole concept is extremely pointless to me and by the end of the game I just wanted to keep grinding to an absolute minimum because once the story was over I already began seeing the similarities between this and Destiny. The game was also very complicated to begin with for no real reason. I know the Monster Hunter franchise has been around for a long time and complicated game mechanics is sort of it's main thing but I just don't understand why it has to be overcomplicated. It should just be as simple as picking a weapon, finding a monster and killing it. Although I hated this overcomplicated gameplay at first, I thought it created so much depth and possibilites for your gameplay styles later on and I really liked it for that, it was about the only redeeming factor when it came to keeping the endgame interesting for me. And then there's the crowns.. These things completely ruined the experience for me if i'm being honest. Granted there were a number of quests which greatly increased the chances of receiving the majority of them (these were an absolute lifesaver by the way) but I still found myself having to hunt more than one monster at least 70+ times just to get a certain crown. Giant Kirin in particular was extremely troublesome for me, it took me around 3 and a half of weeks of looking through and killing 3 dozen of them that looked large enough before I finally got it. All in all this is easily the most disheartening experience i've ever been through with a video game. To say i'm happy that it's over with would be a huge, huge understatement. Overall I thought this game was fantastic for the first 90 hours. It would've been my favourite game of the year so far if it weren't for the crowns and the shallow endgame. But i'd still recommend it if you want a great game that will give you plenty of hours. I can't exactly say I didn't get my money's worth with this one. Popular Post ukiukimidnite
Platinum 14 - Lego Jurassic World I love Lego games and this one was a lot of fun (I also really love Jurassic Park/World, so that helped too). The levels were all great, with a lot of funny moments too - and the free roam/hub areas were a lot more sensible/easy than in some other Lego games. I only had to use a guide in a few parts, didn't experience any glitches and now I'm even more excited for Fallen Kingdom!
dein-the-dragoon
In the last 2 weeks I had: Platinum 18: Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (16.26% - rare) on 19 April Platinum 19: Helldivers (1.91% - ultra rare) today, 28 April The first one is a pretty decent tower defense game in the clothing of Ratchet & Clank, but a trophy where you have to make your way through an Iron Man in regards of travelled distance (I'm looking at you, Ironmadman!) is just weird... Helldivers is - especially on Vita - a good two-stick shooter with a pretty, yet easy to understand-made story and many things to do. Getting those 100,000 kills for a gold trophy can be a pain in the ass, but nothing's too bad for a real trophy hunter, right? On top of that, this is also my very first UR plat ever to get obtained! Platinum 20 can either be a LEGO game (meh) or the second Assassin's Creed game I get to plat

Popular Post Yoey_666
#233 – God of War Well, what to say about this game. First I was very sceptical because in comparism to the other GoW games, there‘s not much left. But the longer the journey took, the more I liked this game. You get really involved in the mixture between raising a small Kratos and playing the disappointed father simulator. But overall this reboot was fantastic. The story is really cool, the graphics are amazing and it made fun from beginning to the end. From the trophyview there could have been less collectibles, but with a guide they weren‘t that of a problem. Storywise the only criticism I have is – without spoilering – that the gap between the ending of God of War 3 (everyone who played it knows what I mean) and how Kratos got to the north never got mentioned. This would have been really nice to know. But nevermind, what an awesome game ! Edited April 29, 2018 by Yoey_666
Popular Post Satoshi Ookami
きみと過ごす夏休み 全てのトロフィーを獲得した That was cutting it close, almost didn't have a Plat this month, lol =D Oh man, so good. So good. The actual type of game west needs to freaking much. Actual, true and pure galge =D With all its pros (and some cons as well...). Cute girls getting conquered one after another, just what one wants from a VN Obviously, after you clear the best girls (Nae-taaaaan~), it gets increasingly harder to conquer other girls that aren't that best But this game has something that makes it better... The Live 2D. That is like the BEST thing that could happen to VNs. The girls are so incredibly cute in that form =D They even feel more alive (not 3D, mind you ) and all that with a Surround Sound?! Oh my, you got me, game. These two things all together, omg, I must have that in all VNs That game is just so worth playing, I couldn't even believe it =D Especially because I didn't watch the anime yet In any case, the only thing that I was missing... were these two =D Aoi and Kugyu They were in small roles, but I knew those two immediately If they were in, the game would be like perfect
Popular Post Desmuria
So, I went on a bit of a trophy hunting session this weekend... #66 - Hitman GO: Definitive Edition Agent 47 Collect all trophies for Hitman GO: Definitive Edition. Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 After having played Lara Croft GO already, I found this game to be MUCH easier to complete. The levels get gradually harder, but it's super easy to breeze through them using a guide. Some levels you have to complete twice to achieve different goals. The only thing that bugged me was that in a few levels, the screen would change direction and would confuse the hell out of me trying to follow a guide. #67 - Late Shift Platinum Trophy Acquire all trophies Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I actually really enjoyed this game. It was like watching a film, but I got to make all the choices. I used a guide, which made the trophy pops super quick. I would recommend playing this one by yourself at first, then using a guide to mop up any missable trophies. I highly recommend this game, especially if you want to try something new. #68 - The Bunker Platinum Trophy Acquire all trophies Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I played this immediately after playing Late Shift and, to be honest, I wish I'd played this one first. Compared to Late Shift, I found the story and gameplay to be rather dull. You only need to do one playthrough to get the platinum trophy to pop (if you don't count having to play the last small section twice). Again, recommend this game if you fancy something new and a change of pace.
