Popular Post Neocarleen
All The Dads Earn every Dream Daddy trophy. Wee! I'm the third person to get the platinum! That's pretty neat, right? Surprisingly sweet at times, you can tell a lot of thought and care went into making this game. It's mostly straight forward for a visual novel with easy to get trophies EXCEPT for that damn minigolf minigame! You gotta get all hole-in-ones for all 18 holes of the game, and it took forever for me to get the timing right. Might be easier for people good at rhythm games or just more coordinated, but I was not good at it. What a relief o finally be finished with that!
Popular Post sephiroth4424
#138 Dark Cloud Dungeon Master Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Dark Cloud was recommended to me by a friend but i can't say that i enjoyed it much. This whole RNG design felt way unfair.I was getting one weapon for every ten mimics and even then, 9 out of 10 times it was Toan's weapon. This way the game became unnecessary hard when i had to clear a level with a secondary party member. Also it took me 6 freaking hours of farming to find a weapon with steal ability and i had to go back to an earlier save to make it possible.Too much hassle for a 45% trophy.I ended up using the broken dagger glitch to clear the game as fast as possible and move on
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #147 Gem Smashers Gem Smashers Lover Obtained all trophies! Glad I didn't buy it on sale, it was on PS Now~ It was alright, my main issue is the hitboxes. Felt like it was pretty finnicky at times in getting through a space or not (or hitting enemies). And the bosses were beyond awful, I hated how they all worked. Just tedious more than fun or interesting. And it sucks the one trophy is glitched, needing to do the first 3 worlds 3 times (once per character) just for a trophy that sounds like it just needed you to do 1 world per character is really dumb. But whatever. It was a nice change of pace though since it's pretty forgiving letting you die over and over until you finish a level even if you run out of time it's not a big deal. And it's not that hard to hit 2 stars on levels. I really didn't like the fastest character to play as, found him really hard to maneuver around successfully. So ironically took me the longest to get through each level since I kept mistiming things since he's too damn fast lol. I wish you moved faster on the world map too, that was a bit annoying how slow you move around on that.

Popular Post zeldagate13
#119: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Game Rating: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 86 hours I pretty much enjoyed it just like Origins. I found its storyline better though, as well as its protagonist (I chose Kassandra). Probably in my Top-3 of AC games (with 2 and Black Flag).

Popular Post starcrunch061
PLAT #305 - BERSERK: BAND OF THE HAWK True Berserk Acquired all trophies Truth be told, this game was not all that great. The frame rate was pretty bad. Combat was loose, and just annoying at times. And fighting on a horse (and thus fighting a camera) was just a nightmare. But despite all that, I enjoyed the game relatively well (curse my Warriors fanboyism!). That is, until... ... ...I had to run through 800+ battles in the Endless Abyss. One of the most annoying grinds ever, because the rewards were so slight. No new weapons (in fact, no new weapons throughout the game). A few new accessories, which were useless due to the overpowering Hawk of Light idol that could be worn by anyone. A few new outfits, which are pretty cool, but honestly, did anyone want to jump back into the game with Zodd, or Wyeld, or Griffith after finishing this? I sure didn't. Mediocre game that was fun because it was warriors and Berserk crossed. Terrible plat. Glad it's done.

Popular Post Caldor2K2
#111 - Rainbow Skies (played on the Vita) I enjoyed playing Rainbow Moon way back in 2014 and enjoyed it. Having come from a smaller and lesser known company, it didn't exactly follow the "standard" RPG formula. Naturally, I was thrilled when a sequel was mentioned, although it did suffer a couple of years of delays. Rainbow Skies for the most part plays nearly identical to its predecessor, while adding a few bells and whistles here and there. Overall the world itself seemed smaller, however and event in the game attempts to fix that. There were numerous places to visit that were optional, but sadly most of them were a small area and didn't offer much for the game. The game can be very grind prone at times, mostly when it comes to changing your equipment. Your old gear maybe better than the new depending on how heavily upgraded it is, but it'll eventually need to be replaced and requires more grinding to unlock extra upgrade slots. You'll have to grind your skills to upgrade their levels, to increase their damage or effects. Attacking enemies is effective, but you won't get the damage bonus that a skill would add. Again, each new skill requires its own grinding. If you're looking for something different, I'd say give Rainbow Skies a go. Its also cross-buy, so you'll have a couple of different ways to play.
Popular Post Undead Wolf
I held off popping this plat to make it my 11,000th trophy..... turns out it wasn't even a milestone. #224 - Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise True Successor of Hokuto Shinken Obtained all trophies. I know next to nothing about Fist of the North Star, but I'm a big fan of the Yakuza games, so I had to get this. I wasn't disappointed - it's a lot of fun! Thankfully the story is self-contained, so it's easy for people not familiar with the IP to jump in. The combat isn't as refined as it is in the Yakuza games, but it's still incredibly satisfying to pull of the secret techniques and what not. I enjoyed most of the minigames available, especially Ken's Clinic (basically a rhythm game). Nothing about the platinum is difficult, but it is rather tedious to obtain since a lot of grinding is required. The Yakuza plats required a lot of time investment too, but it felt worse in this game since you have to repeat the same things over and over again. It took me just shy of 90 hours to get the plat, and I'd say over half of that was spent grinding. Not my favourite game to come out this year, but it's still great. I'd recommend it to fans of the Yakuza series or Fist of the North Star. Even better if you're a fan of both!

Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #169: Forma.8 (October 18th, 2018) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement Rating: 5/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 4 - 6 Hours Hardest Trophy: Rust in Peace (Defeat the Wrecked Titan) This game was definitely a bit of an oddity as far as Metroidvanias go. You are an exploration probe on an alien planet. After a crash leaves your companions stranded, you must find an energy source to succeed in your mission. I never understood the story of this game well, which went right along with the exploration aspect. Being a Metroidvania, there are plenty of rooms, secrets, enemies, bosses and collectibles for you to find. There are areas that can't be accessed until later, there are certain abilities that make your probe stronger. Nothing too out of the ordinary as far as the format goes. Early on I found that it was very easy for you to get lost, and as any trophy hunter would do I consulted a trophy guide. Forma.8 has a bit of a atmosphere, with vector graphics beautifully shown and presented in 60 FPS. Unfortunately there is not much of anything indicating where you need to go or what you should be doing, as the game from beginning to end is pretty much abstract. This was definitely one of the most abstract games I've played in a while, and without a guide it would be quite difficult to determine how to reach Point B. Because of this, I only truly recommend this game for those who enjoy Metroidvanias and want something a bit "different" from the norm. Otherwise I would just skip on this title and look for other games that may make more concrete sense.
Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#96: inFamous 2 1 year and 10 months ago I had read in a PSNP topic that a large number of players were having connection problems with the UCG online missions of inFamous 2 (and Festival of Blood), so I decided to get the MP trophies as soon as possible because I was afraid that servers could be closed at any time. After that I took a long break from it. Now, more than inFamous 2 I would talk of inFamous 2.0: this game is an enhanced version of inFamous, taking the best things of the first chapter and improving them. Better graphic, better controls, better powers, better side quests, slighty better storyline (btw I didn't like the bad ending). It does not mean that the game is perfect, but it was a lot of fun to play with it. Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Bonus At the moment there are only 2 games that I wished they had a platinum: Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and inFamous Festival of Blood. Not because a platinum means something special, but because they both were absolutely AWESOME games and a plat would have been the icing on the cake Enjoyment: 11/10 Difficulty: 0.5/10

Popular Post Conor
#9- MURDERED: SOUL SUSPECT (PS3) Moving On Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 7 Hours, 35 Minutes Rarity: 6.5% Very Rare (PSN) / 39.99% Uncommon (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Collector All (Gold)- Collected all of the artifacts Moving on now... I had heard middling reviews of this but since I got it cheap and needed a break from Kingdom Hearts I decided to go for it. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this brief but engaging paranormal adventure. Not the greatest game in the world by any means- the combat is bare minimum and there is an overload of collectibles which serves mostly to pad out the very short story- but the narrative is actually pretty well written and the central mystery is quite intriguing with some clever twists along the way. Main protagonist Ronan O'Connor is a very deep and interesting character. You learn more about his life and crimes by means of the collectibles but his relationship with the world around him is quite good if you take the time to read through everything as you work towards solving the case of your own murder. Definitely one to pick up if you see it going cheap and have a few hours to kill. The collectibles, like I said, were way too many in number (I used a guide because there's no way I was gonna go looking for them all by myself) and the actual side missions were sparse and could all be completed in the first third of this 6-8 hour game. Not really any replay value either, though I'll certainly pick up the PS4 version as well to double-dip. As a personal aside, you'd be very easily able to find a guy named Ronan O'Connor in my home country of Ireland, a friend of mine's brother bears that exact name! A nice break and now I "move on" to finishing Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix. Edited November 3, 2018 by LepreCon1991

Popular Post Nauticus87
#285 - Final Fantasy X HD Third time I've played this wonderful game. First when it came out and second was around 2007/8. Even then, I've owned this version for nearly a year because I knew what I was letting myself in for: Flashbacks of getting hit by lightning, chocobo race times of 1 second, stupid red butterflies (which I didn't actually need to do for the plat), grinding. So, so much grinding. The allure of trophies finally dragged me in. Filling in all the sphere grids was a chore but if nothing else it gave me an excuse to listen to a lot of music. And the loop of sphere grid, don tonberry, kottos, and earth eater became almost relaxing in its repetition. Still quite enjoy blitzball but only the bare minimum of games needed! Annoyingly, one of the trophies has no timestamp. I was playing through PSTV, which occasionally would ask me for the date when I turned it on because it had forgotten. Poor senile, ignored PSTV. I'm guessing one of those times it still forgot after I reminded it. Don't really mind for the time, was nowhere near even the top 50 speed-wise, but all my trophy milestones are now messed up. Guessing there's no way to fix that?
