Popular Post GraniteSnake
Decided to make use of my PlayStation Now subscription for the first time in months.. #121: Cars: Race-O-Rama Very mediocre racing game overall. Pretty much every thing about the game felt lackluster. The graphics were plain average, the voice acting both felt and sounded poor and the game lacked variety. In terms of trophies, the main list was very easy. The Guido Kart events proved to be a little irritating with the kart's poor handling and tendency to get stuck moving in a certain direction, but ended up being pretty manageable after a few tries. Almost all of the other events were simple and took at most two tries to complete, making this a pretty quick and easy platinum. I think my final play time was around 6 hours, however I would not recommend playing this game. It's successor is much better. #122: Toy Story Mania! Again another mediocre game. It basically consisted of holding R2 and aiming using the right analogue stick for the short few hours I played. The main menu was horribly designed and I had to turn off the character volume after around an hour of play time. Nearly all of the trophies are very straightforward, with only a few taking me more than one or two tries. There's a number of different stages, each with a different scenario and targets to hit. The optional requirements for the trophies are straightforward and most can be achieved through normal play. Another easy platinum, but I wouldn't recommend this game. #123: Cars 2 Much better than the above Cars game, although I found it really difficult to enjoy because I was having major connection issues while attempting to stream the game. It really ruined the game for me, which I found enjoyable when my connection was somewhat stable. Seriously, if your thinking of getting PS Now make sure your internet is good enough and stable enough to stream the PS3 titles without much lag. I think this will be the last PS3 title I'll stream from the service, which is a shame. It's difficult for me to comment on the game because my connection issues were just that overwhelming. I can say though that the game was a lot better than the first, in nearly every way. The control scheme was a lot less archaic which was nice. The Chrome missions had variety and the tracks were pretty decent too. As far as trophies go, it was another straightforward list with minimal difficulty. Some of the two player trophies were a little boring to get through but didn't take long. I think my final play time was around 10 hours, but it felt a whole lot longer.. #124: Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood Another enjoyable point and click. The story followed on from the events of the first game, and was pretty predictable overall. There was only a few hidden object scenes which wasn't a bad change. It required two playthroughs, but the game is relatively short so it didn't cause much hassle. The plots to these games are generally pretty strange and this one was no different. It sets the stage for the third entry which I will pick up when it's on sale for a decent price. Now it's time for me to go back and try and finish up what trophies I have remaining in The Last Guardian. I have a feeling it's going to be frustrating... Popular Post Cal
Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice A extremely easy platinum trophy all the trophies are story related except for one which is collecting all 44 lore stones, I had to replay the game to find the remaining ones I missed but man I am glad I played this game. It is such a beautiful and disturbing game the story had me hooked from the start and Senua was a character I genuinely cared about, and I won't lie the ending made me shed a tear. I definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a easy platinum, a good story, good characters, interesting lore or if anyone suffers from a mental illness or disorder. Popular Post fantrig99
#105 FINAL FANTASY VII Gaia's Guardian Obtain all trophies On that day, Some years ago. Remembering the time when I was addicted to playing Pokemon back in high school. That day, some friends were conversing about memorable gaming heroes and villains. I joined in the conversation and they mentioned things like Fantasy, 7, Cloud, Sephiroth. They praised how the game was presented like 3D graphics, memorable story with twists and turns, character development and having some of the best gaming music. I was very intrigued by it and for the first time I knew about the Final Fantasy series. A good friend of mine let me borrowed his 3 disc version of the PS version. And so I decided to purchase a Playstation by borrowing some money from my parents to play it on. After finishing the story for the first time it had a profound impact on me. I thought about life is like a journey. A person sets goals in life and the Promised Land is like achieving a goal. The game made me appreciate the RPG genre even more. From then on, every RPG gaming journey have been enjoyable and special in many ways. With the ingame boosters and cheats the trophies are made easier. Breeding the Gold Chocobo can be tedious and quite RNG based with the steps and process to get the right gender and outcome. Getting the amount of required gil is a grind and other missable trophies are good by following the trophy guide. Defeating the superbosses requires some preparation in RPG style even with boosters. After over 20 years since its release, FF7 was, is and will always be a special game for me. Definitely awaiting to see what they will do in the Remake and the legacy continues. I always remembered these moments as special. Difficulty: 3 Enjoyment: 10 Time: Around 35 hours Edited February 9, 2019 by fantrig99

Popular Post Maxximum
#19 Guacamelee! (PS3) Guacamelee! Platinum trophy Your luchador mask is in the mail That luchador mask in the mail is indeed the platinum trophy as its symbol. One of the few platformer, hack 'n' slash games I played. Just found out I'm not too good as these type of games, so I should try not to stick around often. They are fun, I admit, but they can get really hard at times. I can relate a lot in this very game. So, I got this game from the UK January Sale that occurred last month for £3.11 since I wanted to give it a shot. One of the first games I actually played on digital and I'm looking forward to play more that I purchased. Fun game. I couldn't have gone this far if it weren't for the second player, Tostada, of which both her and Juan have a captivating chemistry together. I had thoughts and doubts about not able to get the platinum without the DLC (due to the costumes and other additional content that may put the game at ease) and I'm glad I was wrong. Most enemies were really brutal, especially those jaguars, chupacabras, and many more. Some climbing were a headache too, using the swap dimension power to get through some places boiled my blood. The boss fights were a mere threat for my pursuit to the end. I experienced a tough time with Jaguar Javier, but he turned out to be a piece of cake on hard mode (don't know why though). Collecting the orbs were a huge pain, most especially the one located in Sierra Morena where there are platforms that disappear. That was actually the last one I got before getting the final one from defeating Calaca (for some reason if you get this orb earlier before others, it won't register after you click "continue" from the main menu as soon as you complete the game, which is why I had to beat him twice again). The trickiest orb was the one located in Tule Tree. So many things to climb on and frequent swap dimensions had to be in action. There's no way one could get this without having unlocked every power. I came across a very clever and well-thought of trophy name from the trophy list ( Boom-Shack-Calaca) and I admired it, considering the reference of other aspects in reality. Also one I admired from another game (Need For Speed: Most Wanted - Main Avent) as a reference to the real word "Main Event" from WWE and other sports-entertainment industries. Up next: For a few months I have been deciding on what I should plan for my 20th platinum milestone and made a decision (tough one, but I'd like to get it) FIFA 16 - I really want this to be my 20th platinum milestone. In honor of my FIFA 14 (failure to be my first platinum, which will forever remain 97% for 42/44 trophies), EA Sports shut down MatchDay Live without any announcements to the closure or any warnings, thus blocking me from obtaining the platinum. That's what made me hate the developers of the game series. I enjoy reading different trophy titles and choose the best ones to be on my milestones box. "Platinum", "Platinum Trophy", and many more are less-effort made trophies, but they don't bother me that much; it's just that I wouldn't consider putting them up or having prior plans for them (unless it's a game I really love and would make it a milestone). My 10th platinum (Battlefield 4) and my 1,000th trophy (WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2010) happen to be a few, but I enjoyed the games so much, so I'm still happy with them. Popular Post Undead Wolf
#236 - Devil May Cry Platinum Trophy Unlock all trophies This is a series I've always been interested in, but to be perfectly honest, a certain minority of fans who act like elitist scumbags really put me off playing it. With the announcement of DMC5, I decided that I wouldn't let these people ruin it for me anymore. I'll be playing all of the games in the series and what better to start with than the first one? So this game is definitely rough around the edges, but I can see that it has a lot of potential. I'm reminded a lot of the old PS2 God of War games which certainly isn't a bad thing. I was expecting the combat to be a bit more complex like it is in the later titles, but it's actually pretty basic. There's some cheesy voice acting and its roots as a Resident Evil title are obvious, but I find that quite charming tbh. I liked this game even if it didn't blow me away or anything. I'm playing DMC2 next, and I already know the game is a major step-down, but I guess the positive of that will be how great DMC3 looks in comparison.
