Popular Post ONUOsFan
The March to 200 continues with 196. The Old Blood Master Been a while since I played a good shooter, and this one was fun. The challenges weren't bad at all, either - only had a tiny bit of struggle with the boathouse.
Popular Post Jiano_Vera
Platinum #89 - StarBlood Arena Back in Nov 2018, I set up my VR to test it out and after trying the tutorial for StarBlood, I just felt nauseous and I quit altogether. Fast forward to Jan 2019 and after Sony’s announcement that they would shut down the servers in July, I opted to suck it up and go for it. This game will make you feel sick if you’re not used to it and that is probably why there are not that many people who go past the tutorial. Which is a shame because this is a pretty fun game! It’s been compared to Overwatch, which is an accurate comparison, though it’s not as deep; for anyone that’s played OW all the characters feel like a variant of Dva. Once you get past the nauseous barrier, flying around felt natural and aiming with your head was pretty intuitive. Due to the low player count, most of your matches will be with bots, and they can be brutal. The first couple of games I felt like it would be impossible because you will die a lot with very few defensive options and the threat of being attacked from all sides. But like all things, practice makes perfect and I was able to win consistently after a few games. Sound wise, this had one of my favorite songs to come out of a video game, which was Pretty Bomb by Everclear, it’s a pretty catchy rock song and a nice tune to destroy bots too. The platinum itself was a grindy one with having to complete all the burn circuits and playing with each character 25 times. Some medals require boosting as they are situational (shoutouts to @ryuji_sakujo for setting up the boosting sessions and chat) Overall this game is worth trying out if you have the stomach for it! Popular Post Melty
#32: PERSONA 5: DANCING IN STARLIGHT Dancing in Starlight Obtained all trophies. Another plat in the bag. This game was definitely the weakest out of the three persona dancing games. All the songs in this games were wack except for The Whims of Fate (Yukihiro Fukutomi Remix) and Will Power (President Remix) and the only reason the latter was really good was that of Haru's dancing. The final group song was trash compared to the iconic Burn My Dread from P3D. I never see myself playing this again. I'll be replaying Persona 3 Dancing a lot the music in the game was on point! This concludes the end of the persona dancing trilogy from me. Ann & Makoto had the best outfits. For the next platinum, I want to tackle will probably be Persona 4 Golden. I haven't played in the game in 3 years so I'm excited to dive back in.
Popular Post thefourfoldroot
Lego Movie (VITA) Enjoyment - 7 Difficulty 2 Never played a lego game before really, but being on the VITA meant it killed some bus time. No missable trophies which I like. I got a couple of other lego games years ago with my VITA - might give them a go now.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Platinum #180: Madden NFL 11 (January 27th, 2019) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement Rating: 6/10 Estimated Time to Platinum: 12 - 15 Hours Hardest Trophy: Madden Moments (Complete the "Super Bowl Sunday" Madden Moment) I was on the fence for the past few years whether or not I was ever going to get around to this game. Sports games, by default, become almost entirely worthless after a set period of time unless you are playing them for nostalgic reasons or you just happen to be looking for an "easy" sports platinum. Since all other EA Madden games before Madden 14 - 15 are impossible to complete now due to server shutdown, Madden NFL 11 was the only choice. I rented this from Gamefly because there is nothing to be gained from buying Madden NFL 11. But this turned out to be a reasonably okay sports game, even with EA Sports already holding the monopoly to making NFL games. Most of the trophies weren't too bad. You can easily gain a lot of them just by playing as your favorite sports team and playing their rival. Some trophies, notably Madden Moments, required a bit of stat boosting and stat draining because otherwise they would of fallen too much on sheer luck. The trophy list is fairly standard but nothing too taxing. This is probably the easiest Madden game with a platinum, as the other games in the franchise require you to play online matches and invest in a game mode called MUT (My Ultimate Team). The use of two Playstation controllers made this platinum journey a lot easier, otherwise I don't know if I would of gotten a few of the more annoying luck based trophies in a reasonable time. Not a bad game, but rather lackluster at times.

Popular Post Eramir
Platinum #36: Final Fantasy XV Got this platinum this morning after leaving the console on for the survival skill. Last night it hit me: this is my first Final Fantasy platinum trophy..! I really love the series and I have played such great entries. I have mixed feelings about this one. I didn't like how the story was set up: a lot of free roam first and later a much linear experience. I'd rather see it the other way around. It's just a shame that this is my first FF platinum, other FF deserved it more, like X (but the grind and lightning dodges), XIII (played the trilogy on the 360), VII & IX (but I rather play it on the switch later). If VI comes to ps4/Vita with trophy support.. I would play it right away, just like I did on the SNES Mini. Anyway, I enjoyed going for the plat, even fishing wasn't annoying. Would recommend it, not that difficult.
Popular Post TugaSonic
#114 - Yakuza Kiwami (PS4) KIWAMI Obtained all trophies. One more Yakuza game finished. The story and gameplay are fine as always but this one was the one that I had the worst experience getting the platinum, not due to the difficulty (I still think that Yakuza 5 is the one that has that title due to the Completist requirements on the minigames) but due to the RNG. Whenever I played the gambling minigames, even on the easiest difficulty/table available I always had the worst luck. On Mahjong I had the AI opponents getting Riichi on their 2nd turn and finishing whenever I'm one or two tiles away from winning. On Poker I always got shit hands to the point that I got fed up with it and only finished it by just always raising the bet hoping that the AI folded (took longer but at least I got it finished). The Haruka Request I thought was fine since it just asked things that are easier to achieve compared to the CP requirements but that opinion changed when I got to the last Pool Request. Beat the AI on the highest difficulty when it can basically end the game on one/two turns, who thought that was fun to do? I guess all my bad luck on the gambling minigames paid off here since on my third try the AI got really stupid and missed like 3 turns in a row without getting a single point allowing me to get half the points needed and then it missed after leaving the balls I needed to win right next to the holes. Going through the game on LEGEND difficulty was also easy thanks to the Tiger Drop technique and having the golden gun but that car chase part was brutal, the fact that you have to restart the chapter (meaning fighting the Chinese gang and their boss all over again) every time you fail gets really annoying. On the boss fight with Jingu, I had the worst experience where I got stuck for a few minutes. The bastard and his two minions just use a pistol to fire at me and whenever I recover they fire again making me fall to the ground again and again. I lost like 3 health bars before I got unstuck. All in all the game is fun but if you're considering getting the platinum just be warned that it can get frustrating whenever the RNG and minigames come into play (as is the case with all the Yakuza games at this point).
Popular Post Kristycism
#93 - Kingdom Hearts III (and also trophy #4000, making every KH plat a trophy milestone, from 1500 through 4000) After so many years, the game is finally here! Never really thought this day would come, but here we are! Normally I write a semi-detailed review when I post in this topic, but, I don't know what to say on this game without spoilers. So I'll just leave it short. The gameplay was super fun, if a little mad at times (more so than previous entries), and the worlds were very beautifully made (though a bit empty). 100 Acre Wood was a huge disappointment though, I loved the world in previous games, this time was just clearly rushed and thrown in there without much thought. I don't want to comment on other worlds, as some people might not want to know what worlds are included, but we all know 100 Acre Wood has always been a staple. Battles were very easy in this game though, which is sad, I like a challenge. Hoping Critical difficulty gets patched in, although even then I don't see many fights being that challenging. Even the secret boss was very easy to do while barely getting hit. Meh. It is what it is, I guess. I still enjoyed the game regardless, and that's the main thing.
Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #321 (and trophy #17000): Infamous: Second Son Enjoy Your Powers Collect all trophies I enjoyed my second playthrough of this even more than my first. It took me a little longer than expected (about 25 hours for both playthroughs), but I enjoyed it. Not the most creative game, but mindless enough to let my thoughts roam, and engaging enough to keep my subconscious attention. And dumb as hell! We need more dumb games.

Popular Post LucianaRosethorn
Platinum #4 Mini Ninjas! Platinum ~ Congratulations, you have unlocked all trophies I had this game on the Xbox360 as a kid and didn't like it very much or even beat it so it was a little challenge I set myself to try it again and beat it, in which i did (obviously). It was an enjoyable experience and I'm happy I gave the game a second chance, all the trophies were straight forward so I'll probably write a guide for this game at some point.

Popular Post Dauersack
#20. Master of Murder Sprinkles My rarest trophy to date and most likely the rarest trophy I will ever earn. This monstrosity has a 0.08% rarity and therefore is my very first below 1% ultra rare platinum. I played this game for hundreds of hours to get it, doing the same match over and over for more than 500 times to get the last silver and finish this most tedious of grinds. What motivated me more than anything was the fact that this games servers will die in April, so I knew I had to get it out of the way quickly to avoid having an unobtainable platinum in my profile forever. I have cursed my decision to be a completionist many times during this grind, but now that it is done I can say that it was worth it. It was my first major gaming goal this year to be done with this big task, and I can't fully express with words how happy the trophy sound made me this time.
Popular Post Nyariu
#21 英雄伝説 空の軌跡 the 3rd Evolution THE LEGEND OF HEROES 全てのトロフィーを獲得した。 Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 6/10 The end of the trilogy of the sky is a pure fan service, while also explaining Kevin's past making him a better character towards the end, a good game in general that leaves things for the sequels (Renne for example). Although it changes some aspects of the game in comparison with the previous games (mainly the exploration), I forgive it due to the doors, since they offer interesting interactions between characters allowing to know them better or to laugh a little. As for platinum, the nightmare run is more difficult compared to the previous games, so look out for that. #22 Tales of Zestiria Master of Zestiria This is proof that you've obtained all trophies. We're thrilled you like the game so much, and we hope to meet you again in future titles! Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 6/10 (10/10 if RNG Jesus it's not with you) I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit disappointed while I like the characters and somewhat the story there just so many technical flaws that makes the experience worse, the camera while the idea of change respect of previous entries is interesting its so bad that too many battles the camera just didn't let me see a thing, the equip system its needlessly complex and annoying, the combat relies too much on the Kamui system, who thought that making all the skits in the inn or in saves was a good idea? and last but not least Alisha >>> Rose enough said. If you are crazy go for the platinum, if you are a Tales of Series fan play it and if you are a RPG fan try it. Popular Post cr1s
#399 - A Way Out All The Ways Out Collect all trophies THAT NOSE. Thanks to @CypherNova139 for playing this game with me. One thing's clear in this game... there's a lot of shit going on. One of the best co-op experiences I've had in a while. Good story with a major twist at the end that surprised the both of us. Fun and immersive gameplay in spite of the simplistic and occasionally iffy controls. There's a particular scene in which the camera keeps switching between each character that was pretty cool, especially when it ended with a side-scrolling beat 'em up section, which I got to play. This game allows for many hilarious moments to happen . Like those driving and button mashing sections, which Cypher and I failed at respectively, with Cypher driving off cliffs and me not button mashing fast enough. And when it comes to meleeing enemies at close range, Cypher is pretty good at it dying. Also, that moment when you think you're playing as the second character and are wondering why the other one isn't moving when you're actually playing as the first character and it was indeed your turn. That said, we got hit with the infamous infinite loading screen bug, which was never fixed and can randomly occur (it happened to us near the end of the game). Some people have managed to get past said point by playing the game in local co-op. That worked for me, but not for Cypher. We tried switching hosts, restarting the game, rebooting the router, and restarting the PS4, but nothing worked and it'd still get stuck on the loading screen. Just when Cypher was about to delete the game and re-download it, I suggested we switch characters at the character select screen... and what do you know, that actually worked! Or maybe it was just a coincidence and the game simply decided to stop trolling us. It took us over an hour to be able to continue the game, so it was kinda annoying. >_> All in all, it was a worthwhile experience. My recommendation? Grab someone whom you're good friends with, forget about the trophies*, and just enjoy the ride! * You'll grab most, if not all of them if you take the time to explore anyway. We got most of them while playing through the game, and cleaning up the remaining ones only took like half an hour.
