Popular Post MidnightDragon
#40 Dragon Quest Builders This is a fun and cute spinoff of the main Dragon Quest series. It'd be easy to dismiss it as just a Minecraft clone, but it definitely felt like more than that. In the game, you have to rebuild the land of Alefgard. The story is a what would've happened if the hero of Dragon Quest I took the Dragonlord's deal to rule half the world. It turns out it was a trick and the hero was defeated. As a result, humanity lost the ability to create and the world quickly fell into ruin. That's where you come in. You are the only person who can rebuild the world and defeat the Dragonlord for good. The main part of this game is, naturally, building, and it is a lot like Minecraft in that regards. You can be as straightforward or creative as you wish. Combat is a straightforward affair in this game and is required to get many of the materials you need. None of the bosses are super difficult. There are five challenges in each chapter and none of them are too hard to complete. There is a speed run in each chapter and they're all doable. I went ahead and did the speedruns in my first go since I didn't want to do the levels over. However, going back, I would play the levels at my own pace and then do the speed run second. It takes a little something from the game if you do it that way because it also involves a lot of saving and reloading. You also can't sleep, die, or warp back to base in the menu or you'll lose a day. For warping, there's an item you can use in game that doesn't eat up time. Still, it was definitely fun to build things and explore the world. Despite the fact it takes place in a world where the Dragonlord rules, it's surprisingly upbeat for the most part. The graphics are very cute and they have classic Dragon Quest tunes made for the modern era.. You'll get almost all of the trophies just by playing through the story and it also unlocks free play mode. This game isn't without annoyances. If your health drops low, there's this annoying beeping that starts up. You can only save at your base, so if you die, you can potentially lose quite a bit of progress. At nighttime, you're constantly harassed by ghosts. You can kill them, but they just keep coming back. I hope they don't have speed run challenges in Dragon Quest Builders 2. Doesn't really belong in a game like this. Also, the mechanics of the third boss fight were quite annoying. Granted, it was creative, but I don't want to do that again. I totally recommend this game and will be picking up Dragon Quest Builders 2.

Popular Post StraightVege
Agent 47 #183 - Hitman GO: Definitive Edition I'm not usually interested in games of this genre, but I couldn't resist a fast platinum for $1.59—plus, I'm a longtime fan of the Hitman franchise. Playing it with a guide was hardly more challenging than dialing phone numbers, but I still really enjoy trying to 100% these easy games as quickly as possible. This time, I got 4th place, with a 1 hour and 48 minute finish. I also spent a bit of time with the game afterwards, and I must say, they really managed to capture the essence of Hitman, despite the simplicity of the design. I loved the inclusion of the iconic "Ave Maria" for the boss level soundtrack, too. Clearly an elegant little game, that deserves more attention than I gave it. Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Undertale I kept hearing about how this is the greatest RPG since Earthbound and that you have to experience it because it will blow your mind. ?...flame shields up...it was an OK game. I really liked the battling system (how you had to do a little bullet dodge in every battle) and I think the morality thing is pretty cool. I mean when San tells me that my EXP and LOVE was not what I thought I was like but then there is the rest of the game. I don't want to go into too much detail as I don't want to spoil anything for people who may not have played it yet but motherfucker some of these characters were annoying. I mean I am sure that was the point of people like Alphys but by the end I was just skipping all of her dialog because it interrupted you every couple of seconds. Also there was nothing overly hard in the game and you can get through it with very little difficulty. The only tough fight was the last one but I had enough healing items that it didn't matter. So it was a good game but I think people need to calm down a little with hype for it. It was good...nothing more.

Popular Post Dr_Mayus
New Little King's Story OK, unlike Undertale this is NOT a good game. I mean it is a pretty average game with stupid conditions for the platinum. Having to beat the final boss 9 times is just stupid. Bullshit collect quests to get a trophy is bad enough BUT it doesn't even max out affection with the princesses. No, for that you have to wait around all day until an invisible meter fills up and you get a face. The story is dumb, every boss boils down to mashing until it dies, you collect every princess only to have to do it twice because of reasons (I mean why could they not start with half life as that would make collecting their crystals actually purposeful instead of busy work), often times you would arrive somewhere only to realize you didn't have the right job so you would have to backtrack all the way to get a new person and then backtrack all the way back. Ugh, I am just bitching now. There is a reason this game took me 4 years to plat...it is just boring and poorly made.

Not many weapons but that makes perfect sense, making the game even better and village upgrades are also a nice touch that suits the game. Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#111 Alien: Isolation Unlocked every Alien: Isolation trophy Platinum on 1st March 2019 (2 months, 1 week, 4 days) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** Oh my gosh...I even can't remember when did I played a survivor horror game that really scare the shit out of me and I still haven't play others, like "The Evil Within" and newer "Residents Evil" but I don't think there is any crazy random shit in those games as most of jump scare encounter is pretty fix and it will get old if more playthough is required. The story seem to be happen after the event of 1979 "Alien" movie and "Isolation" storyline begin more than a decade later. I play as "Ellen Ripley" child in "Isolation" and was offer to board a courier spaceship by a Android, that is working for some corporation company, to a space station. As there is a flight recorders from the missing spaceship name "Nostromo", have just been found recently by the crew of salvage space vessel and our character's mother was onboard in that missing spaceship too. Although "Isolation" do not have many cutscenes to watch but the setting feel the same as in "Alien" movie and not to say the least the in-game surrounding atmosphere is so freaking creepy. If the creepy atmosphere is not enough for me, I also have to deal with those eerie noise inside the duct and my anxiety will rise if I hear something is coming out duct. And If the Alien slowly crawl down from the ceiling duct I will definitely panic even it is some distance away from me. I'm using Sony official headset when playing "Isolation" so I can easily hear almost every noise in the game and I was a bit of phobia when I hear movement in the duct. Also it didn't help when the music in the game will change so sudden and dramatic. Luckily, late in the game I'll get a weapon to scare off the Alien temporary so I can have few extra breathing space to get to my next objective. The gameplay is heavily focus on stealth if unfortunately get caught by Alien it's instant dead so stay away if do not like snail pace type of game. There is also some blueprints I can pick up along my fateful journey but before I can use I need to salvage enough component and then construct them into an item, besides blueprint there are also weapons to be found in the space station. Sometimes I'm wondering why bother give me firearms and having hostile human with an active Alien in same area when I can't even fire a single shot without attracting the Alien. Lastly, I also have to deal with some hostile Android that is patrolling in the station but luckily most of those section do not have an active Alien crawling above me. Before I start I know all trophy can be earn in one playthrough instead of doing one I did two playthrough while one is playing blind without killing any human being and without death in Novice difficulty so my 2nd run on Hard won't be so frustrating. Alien is a joke in Novice difficulty as there is lot time I thought I was screw when the Alien is direct in front of me but to my surprise the Alien didn't saw me at all and I was able to hide quickly without been spot by the nasty looking creature. Well, Hard difficulty is different story and definitely not a joke. I need a lot of patience and determination as the alien is more active, aggressive and will constantly looking for me and won't give up easily. Sometimes I had to stay hidden in the cabinet for at least 2 to 3 minutes and hiding under the bed or table is not 100% safe too. Luckily Nightmare difficulty and Survivor mode are not required for trophy and I can't imagine if is needed. I enjoy searching those collectibles in "Isolation" especially the archive logs it's nice to know what is going on in the space station before my character arrived and I don't really mind doing all those backtracking late in the game. I can't praise this "Alien: Isolation" enough and I think it's underrated without getting enough promotions when released. I hope the developers make another sequence because in my opinion the ending seem a bit like cliffhanger to me and I READY for more survival horror game in near future but first I need to standby more pants to change...just in case I "Shit" again. Popular Post NorbR338055
#26 - Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Spoiler This might be the best Spyro of the trilogy. Not necessarily my favorite, I think I still preferred the first one for its charm, but this one found a nice rhythm. No exceedingly hard challenge, the side characters are fun, the speedways are easier on the time attack yet more challenging on the races ... really well done overall. That being said, with 3 platinums in the bag, it's time to take a break from that world, I might be all Spyro'ed out. I really liked all 3 games, and I'd recommend the trilogy to anyone for a good bit of platforming fun, but now I'm looking forward to moving on to other games. Thank you Spyro, it's been fun !
Popular Post Jelly Soup
#97 - InnerSpace Pretty, but a pain to control. Also, most of the guides are a hair out of date, as the dev stealth added a few collectibles in an update a few months after the game was released. First sequel in the Final Fantasy series and it had an above average story to tell but it had so many damn grindy trophies that it kind of kills the flow of the game. Story is simple and when you really look at it, very short and never achieved. Most of the main charater and some sub-characters from FFX make their way naturally into the story and the ones you are missing can be found with proper knowledge, guide, or search on the Net. Remember getting the game back on the PS2 but never made it out of Chapter 2 and I got hung up three years ago on Gunner's Gauntlet. Nice to have it complete and bring my total number of how many Final Fantasy games I have beaten to 11.

Popular Post Conor
#23- DEAD SPACE (PS3) Concodrance Officer Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time Taken: 3 Weeks, 10 Hours, 1 Minute (about 20 hours ingame time) Rarity: 4.0% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 16.40% Rare (PSNProfiles) Hardest Trophy: Epic Tier 3 Engineer (Gold)- Complete the game on the hardest difficulty setting Twinkle, twinkle, little star... So yeah, I decided to more or less take a break from PlayStation to give some of my other games some love over the past month, but I still had time for an old favourite. Dead Space is really one of the great tragedies of modern gaming, given the treatment of the series and its developer Visceral Games by EA. In good old 2008 however, a promising new horror IP came about and everyone looking for a fix since Resident Evil abandoned its survival horror roots now had something to get their teeth into. The game succeeds in creating an atmosphere of isolation with limited interaction with friendly NPCs and resource management on higher difficulties gives it a great survival horror vibe. The game is fully beatable using the first weapon you get and you're better off using it the most anyway. I used the DLC heavy damage pack to get stronger weapons as well as stronger armour in the Tank suit so Impossible difficulty was anything but. Still a very enjoyable game even after a decade.
