Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 173! Mega Man X Legacy Collection SA-Class Hunter After the Zero/ZX Colleciton I decided to try the X collection. The Zero games are my favourites among the Mega Man games, but the X 1-4 are really fun! 1 and 2 aren't really difficult, while 3 is the hardest: I don't know why, but here the bosses deal a lot of damage, and the final boss is boring... I can't use the Z-saber against huge bosses: like Zero 1, I kept missing the boss and I took damage. And after him, you have to escape from the lava... And here I died twice. But X4 is my favourite in this collection: only the bike level is really annoying (probably due to the commands. I press and the bike sometimes doesn't jump). But you can play again using Zero with the spinning dash attack! Then I wanted to continue with the 2nd X collection, but I saw X7 and X8 on Youtube... What did Capcom do with these games?! No, thank you! Probably I'll try this collection after some months... Too bad, because it's my final missing platinum of the Mega Man games. Anyway, platinum screenshot in MM X4, snow base level. I love snow levels, and this place is perfect!

Popular Post Masamune
Master of Time Mastered the timeline and obtained every trophy available. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Playtime: 40:27:50 (1 week, 22 hours, 4 minutes) This was a bit better than I remember, although I still think the original is the best in the trilogy (even though I gave them both an 8). Really the only thing that hurts it is that ending, gameplay is a bit more polished than the previous game, & the ability to catch almost any monster in the game & use them as an ally is pretty fun (reminds me of my Pokemon days). The trophies are all mostly easy, everything can be gotten by playing on easy too (except for Fair Fighter). The couple that have the biggest impact are probably for collecting all the Fragments (which require fighting every enemy in the game at least once, & getting all the endings), getting 100 preemptive strikes in a row, & maybe defeating Raspatil on normal? Any other trophy that you need to grind for at the end can also be made trivial with the Clock Master Fragment skill (increases the game's speed). Popular Post flashpool23
Plat 143 - The Banner Saga Since it's still fresh in my mind and I just finished it, I recommend The Banner Saga. It's not that well known from what I can tell but it's really unique as a game. It takes the concept of the Oregon Trail game where you have a caravan of people you must maintain supplies for or else they starve to death (or a random event might kill someone depending on your choices) and mixes it with Vikings and humans needing to come together to survive a darkness that's coming your way (basically shadow warriors that are insistent on causing chaos and killing...although there's a twist too). You keep heading in a direction, stopping every now and then, managing morale, and switch between 2 groups that meet with the same purpose by the end. Battling is tactical in a gridlike setting (think xcom where moves have to be calculated) and both armor and strength need to be accounted for though it can be hard if your party isn't well thought out. Plus the art style is beautiful as is the music too. Not every choice is correct either so you basically have to live with it if costs you people or supplies, but there's also good options that give instead. From the sounds of it too, you can import your save to the second game and that story will be affected by this one. It's a bit confusing at first not going to lie about that but once I put a bit of time into it I became invested. There's some challenging parts to it but nothing some good thinking won't get you out of. Of course it's a bit amusing to me that the other trophy images were kind of low quality but the plat one surely isn't. It makes me The Banner Saga Master too! Popular Post Darghel
#75 Top of the Heap (Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy) Difficulty: Easy, but has annoying bits Time to Complete: About 12 hours Recommended: Yes it doesn't require much, just collect everything! Total Score: 7/10 I saw the Jak compilation on psn with 4 games, including Jak X, and I never had the chance to play Jak 3 and Jak X so I thought "why not give it a shot? I loved the first game" and here we are! What else to say, this is a platform game made by Naughty Dog and it had a lot of Crash vibes (the platforming and minigames) in it mixed with Super Mario 64 (the hub areas and multiple objectives in each mission). It's not a remaster or a remake, just a ps4 port and it does its job right, had a few slowdowns during the final boss but overall it played just fine. Only real issues I had weren't really technical but "of age" so to speak: the camera gets mixed up in places it shouldn't go and it often confused me, the controls are very stiff and the jumping very unreliable without double jump+spinning for every platform, and the zoomer is extremely bad to drive so of course we drive it at least 4 times in the game, with an entire area just for it! I'm so glad we won't have to deal with this anymore right....r-r-right? "sigh" But in all seriousness, this game is fine, it's probably not aged too well (I think either Sly Raccoon or Ratchet & Clank are better) but it's a fun game, an easy plat, and overall a nice jump in the past when Naughty Dog still made platforming games. Now to try the second...and I don't have fond memories of that one. Edited June 28, 2020 by Darghel

Popular Post zizimonster
#79 I'm no fan of Sherlock Holmes -- I've seen only a movie or two. I, however, am huge addict of Scandi noirs, detective stories, whodunit stories, and so on. i'm more of a serious-crime-drama-type-of-guy, actually. And I think Sherlock Holmes isn't that serious. The only thing that got me to play this game was the easy platinum trophy it had. While The Devil's Daughter has no groundbreaking story and too many cutscenes, the thing that got me to the end is that I enjoy detective stories. Nothing more and nothing less. #78 I guess I have a soft spot for King Art's games. The Book of Unwritten 2, which I enjoyed tremendously. And now this, The Raven Remastered. While it is still a whodunit story, I adore this one more than The Devil's Daughter. In The Raven, you are required to scrounge through the environment, finding items that suit your investigation on the legendary thief dubbed as The Raven with not too many cutscenes. The core mystery of this game is better than the above game because it has one case throughout your journey, so the story is more fleshed out. You get invested as you slowly reveal who The Raven is. I love fast paced combat, sidequest, and stroyline. The only difficult part is find out which part of the map required for 100%. Popular Post Fire
#250 - The Last of Us Part II Every Last One of Them Collect all trophies So the first game is definitely in my top 3 of all time, story was excellent and i still treasure it to this day. And how the story ended i really wanted a sequel. After seven years of wait i wasn’t disappointed. I avoided all the leaks, didn’t read any scores, user reviews, basically i didn’t know anything about the game. And after i finished it, i can say for sure, its one of the best gaming experiences i have ever had. Yes. story is very different then the first one. And what appears a very unpopular opinion i’m okay with a completely new approach they took. It shows two sides of the story and all its consequences and perspectives. I’m just hoping that all the hate and negative comments are coming from the people who actually played the game, and not just the ones who read some stuff on the internet. Gameplay is more or less the same as the first one with some new additions. AI is better and really helpful in some parts of the game. Trophies consist of collectibles, player and weapon upgrades and some misc trophies. So more or less pretty straightforward platinum. So all in all, in my opinion the game is worth the full price. And i would recommend it. Also i don't think it needs a third game, but knowing ND they will probably release a third one.

It was relaxing to paint the walls of Denska and breathe life into the genies' that I created. #305 Star Wars Battlefront II Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It's basically Battlefield with a Star Wars skin but that makes sense since it's made by DICE. It was fun blasting my way through multiplayer and the coop mode. I'm just thankful that they have double/triple xp events once a week or so since that made the grind to 50 bearable.

Popular Post Puppeter04
#12 ?? Finally MODERN WARFARE 2 after... I don't know, 8 years since I started it? I play like crazy back in 2012 or so, but didn't finish the spec ops, then I grew up and move to another city across the country, I bought a new PS3 and more, but never really start haunting until 3-4months ago. Now that I'm at my parents (I plan to stay here 2 months), I can play my old games again in my old PS3, so thats the story of how I get the mw2 platinum trophy.
Popular Post Kiyan-13
#50 - Batman: Arkham Knight I AM the Batman! Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Time to Plutinum(100%): ~85 Hours A great epilogue to the Arkham series, the writing is fantastic for characters and the plot, the gameplay was as enjoyable as it was on the previous entries. My favorite part was the whole "subconscious" talks, I found it very smart and extremely well written. The only thing I didn't like was Batmobile and unfortunately there is too much of it(at least for me), which was well executed but it still was a racing element and I'm not a big fan of. Also Predator parts became a bit too complex, I personally like the simplicity of the previous entries. DLC's are very good, even though they were kinda short they still are quite enjoyable as they are well written and thoughtful. Community Challenges were really frustrating sometimes and they are the hardest part to 100% the game, but I liked them. Wanted to give the game a higher rating but Batmobile was too much for me to ignore. Highly recommend!! Popular Post Carol
#191 Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Platinum Get all trophies I'm a fan of both the classic PvZ games and also of these Garden Warfare games. For me, the original GW is always going to be my favourite. It's so simple, but, at the same time, so creative, that I enjoyed it in a way that I could never enjoy these sequels, that are more complex. Battle for Neighborville is still a fun game. They added regions, where you can do missions, freely explore and find collectibles. For me, this was actually the most enjoyable part of this game. I easily could spend hours exploring each region and I particularly enjoyed the gnome challenges/puzzles, that are very fun to solve. They also added some new characters and some of them are very fun to play with. Unfortunately, the character variants are no longer there and I kinda missed them. Other than this, you obviously find the same game modes that were always there, like Team Vanquish, Turf Takeover, Gnome Bomb or Garden/Graveyard Ops. Trophy-wise, this platinum is easy, but insanely grindy. You have to promote 20 characters to the rank of Master, which means that each character has to reach level 10 five times. Do you know how long this took me? 185 hours! This is the kind of platinum, that makes me ask myself if being a trophy hunter is worth it. There's no way this game has enough content to justify what was almost a 200 hour platinum! I started the game in February, I took my time and a couple of weeks later I had everything done. Then all these months were just pure grind! I understand that the devs want you to spend a lot of time playing the game and I probably would have done some Master ranks even if they weren't needed for the platinum, but this "Time to Seriously Go Outside" trophy was just too much and completely unreasonable, in my opinion.

Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #95 Star Wars: The Force Unleashed If I knew what was expecting me, I would never have played this game, specially because I had really fun memories of when I played it back on the PS2 12 years ago. There are two ways of making a game hard. The first one is making almost mandatory for you to master several of the game mechanics to be able to beat certain levels, enemies or bosses. How hard is to pull of those mechanics, and how much mistakes you can make, will determine how hard the game will end up being. The second one is the cheap way, where the developers seem to want to make the player feel frustrated and helpless, and this game is the second case. I wanted to get the platinum as fast as I could, so maybe my own impatience ended up going against me, since I didnt bother in going too deep into the game mechanics or spending too much time with this game, but many times during Sith Master I would look to my TV dumbfounded, while waiting for the long loading screen to end, so I could die again within seconds. Pratically all enemies can kill you in instants, even the most basic ones. You will almost always have to face many enemies at once, the majority ranged, and you dont have many efficient ways to deal with them. The first 3 levels are ok in difficulty. The enemies hit like a truck, but with patience and being smart you can deal with them without problems. Things get difficult after episode 4, where you start to fight enemies that are resistant to many of your powers and take too damn long to die. Not only that, you dont have good defensive tools. Even while blocking you still take damage from projectiles, some cant be blocked, and your dash is too slow. I think I never played a game where I felt so weak, be it against random enemies, or against bosses (that have immense healh pools, deal massive damage and have awful camera angle). And one thing that made me really angry is how long you take to get off the ground, and how you can get hit and stunlocked by enemies because of it. To make everything worse, I experienced many bugs. There were several instances, on almost all chapters, were I was stuck on a corner, inside a wall, or my camera would start to spin. Sometimes I randomly could not attack an enemy. For 2 times a bosses fell to the ground and I had to restart, and on the last fight before the last bosses I got stuck on a door. Projectiles passing through surfaces, and sometimes I just died randomly. My health would be almost full, and I would die instantly in ways that should not happen. Aside from story and difficulty trophies, the others are for killing certain enemies that you will probably get during your playthrough, there is one trophy for collectibles, and the others for killing 100-500 enemies using certain powers. The guide recommends the prologue, but I replayed the beginning of the first episode. Go to the hangar and kill all enemies. Dont open the gate, manually save, go to mission select and restart from last save point. You will keep your kills, and can replay the beginning without the need to watch the cutscene (why we cant skip cutscenes?). During my third retry I would get the 100th kill. I did it this way because I wanted to make use of some of the kills that I got during my playthrough. If you're a fan of "Force Unleashed", or you really like Star Wars and want all platinums, go for it. It will not take too much time, but will take a lot from your patience. Maybe it was due to my own impatience and shortcomings, maybe I am not skilled enough, but I think during Sith Master you will face an unfair amount of challenge and hardships. The Unleashed difficulty of the sequel had some cheap moments and things that I think the game could do better, but they dont even come close. I would do the combo challenge 10 times in a row, but would never play through Sith Master ever again.
Popular Post Alternatewarning
#54 .hack//GU Last Recode Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 9/10 Starting off with a confession, I played the original games on the PS2 and loved them so I am coming back to this with the air of "nostalgia glasses'. And I am really glad that I bought this game again. I loved it. I love the world of .hack and it honestly makes me yearn for more. First I'll cover the pros: I really like the combat, specifically in volumes 2+. Being able to change your weapons to match the enemies, skill triggers, it's a little chaotic but it's fun. Now, if only you could choose what enemy Haseo was aiming at, it would be even better. I enjoy the relationship mechanics, although they're a little bare-boned, sending the greeting cards is fun. What I like the most in the world of, well, "The World". Personally I'm not much for MMOs, I am a staunch resident of single-player land, but even so, The World feels very large. By the end of the game, you recognize different "players" from the forums and from running around town. Classes and weapons make a whole lot of sense since it is a video game. Now, I'm not so blinded by nostalgia that I can't see the flaws. My number one issue is the darn clipping! I know this was a PS2 game but now it is not. This is the PS4 and why why why is there so much clothing clipping through character models! It's very distracting when Atoli's wings are in her chest for an entire cutscene! That aside, my other qualms are less annoying and more just there. The game is definitely too easy. I was maxed level in each volume at the end of the story so when I did optional side stuff I wasn't leveling up. And I meant every story encounter was a cakewalk since I was always, accidentally, overleveled. The Avatar battles are a slog until the end and they get upgraded a bit, which is honestly disappointing. They could have been so cool. But why does the game feel it needs to tell me the instructions every time?! I know the Avatar fights are boring but I'm still awake. Overall it's a fun game, I really like the story and the characters, and I feel like the addition of Volume 4 was a short but pretty bow on top. They didn't really clean up the graphics that much but it's fun enough that I didn't really care.

Popular Post ARH65512
Finally reach the big 100 with TLOU 2... Fun: 4/10 Difficulty: 2/10 My opinion but this was easily one of the most disappointing games, actually not one of the, is. I could mention more but I'm afraid of spoilers so everyone can PM me if they like. Having said that, still a milestone. The reason I made this my 100th was because the first game was my 1st so I had to do the sequel for something special.
