Popular Post ZoutjeNL
#52 PixelJunk Monsters 2 Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 5/10 As I never heard of the games this was recommended by a platinum hunter who liked it. I looked at a video and that convinced me to buy the game. I always like to play Tower Defense games from time to time. It is a fun genre to play a map or two between other games. If you are familiar with tower defense games this is pretty similar to others. Monsters drop coins and with coins you build new towers. You have different towers and can upgrade them with gems you collect, another way to upgrade towers is to let your character dance near the tower, this is usually the best way between waves or when the time allows it. Once you complete more levels you unlock more towers. There are also fruits you can use which can slow the enemy or damage them but ultimately I didn't use them very much. The trophies are all pretty straight forward, upgrade towers, build towers, collect coins, complete all levels without letting the villagers die on each difficulty (each level needs to be played 3 times at least on each difficulty). This awards you with a rainbow fragment and as you can see from the platinum image, you need to collect them all. Some of the levels were pretty though to beat... gladly there are some great videos around to help you if you are stuck to use a different strategy. Overall an enjoyable game while sometimes being a bit repetitive. If you are a fan of Tower Defense games it is cheap to pick up for around 2 bucks.

Popular Post Sergen
Persona 4 Arena, Guilty Gear XrD Revelator & Guilty Gear XrD Sign Platinum's I think this is the first time I have decided to platinum 3 games on the same day. As of now I am gradually unhiding my trophy list as I am more into trophies once again after a few months away. I had planned Persona 4 Arena to be my 150th platinum since June and now I have finally gone through with it after months of being demotivated to play it. I held off on various games and felt restricted in my choices due to unlocking my 149th platinum back in June and wanting to do Persona 4 Arena, I think now I've learned my lesson and if I milestone something it'll just be whatever game I wanted to do in that moment instead of holding off and making a difficult platinum my milestone. Persona 4 Arena in my opinion is now my most difficult platinum and it is likely to stay that way, this is thanks to the C'est Magnifique trophy and I made a long status update about that back when I earned it. Now I will talk about the other difficult aspect of the game, the part that demotivated me and bored me to death and caused me to need a break from the game. Combo Crazy for completing all of the challenges for each character is another exceptionally difficult trophy, but compared to C'est Magnifique it is much easier for me. I pause exploited this game a lot and if you care to know more about that, you can check out my Super Street Fighter IV or Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite guides as I have explained the pause exploit there in detail, fortunately that method also carries over to Persona 4 Arena. However, even though you can pause a lot on P4A and get through it, you must also know when to stop and not overdo it and in P4A's case you often lose track of where your opponent is on the screen because you make them fly up on the screen and drop down quickly and you must hit them as they're falling to keep the combo going. VesperArcade made an excellent challenge 30 guide video for every character and although the cast for this game only consists of 13 characters I can assure you that within this game you'll face some of your most difficult challenges and it's no breeze compared to other games that have a challenge/trial mode. Some of the combos are exceptionally lengthy and 1 mistake ruins it for you, you will likely find yourself failing on the very last hit of the combo and it'll feel bad because you were just a few frames off from success to have to do it all again. However, I am used to losing significant progress at this point due to all the failed Score Attack runs and I must say that losing 1-2 minutes of a challenge in the mode is a lot less stressful than losing out on around 40 minutes of a run from losing to Liz in the final fight. I already wrote everything I wanted to say about the Guilty Gear games in a status update back in August. Those games really pale in comparison to P4A. At least soon enough I will add Persona 4 Arena Ultimax platinum to my collection and be done with Persona in fighting games and potentially enjoy the JRPG's instead some day. I'd like to thank @VirtualNight for being a beautiful person and giving me good advice for Score Attack mode when I was stuck, he has written a trophy guide for an Italian trophy website and was often available to translate parts of it for me if I was in trouble and that helped out immensely, aside from that he told me a way to activate Teddie's instant kill consistently which helped a lot because nobody else mentioned that on a trophy website and when you play Score Attack you always want to try and get the instant kill in your winning round to save yourself the trouble of dealing with the cheap AI. I will thank Meepy & Aexzia for being very helpful with the online trophies on this game, Meepy helped Aexzia with the online trophies and Aexzia paid it forward by helping me and thanks to them my online experience of this game was quick and easy. I recorded a video of the platinum, I had to use a backing track because I had the music muted in the game during challenge mode, if you play it yourself you'll understand that hearing Yu's theme song on loop can be very frustrating after a while. Popular Post Ghost
Platinum difficulty rating: 5.5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Adding my thoughts now as I was busy at the time I posted my personal difficulty rating and enjoyment.Had fun with this one. Played on easy difficulty to get all the collectibles and then did the last chapter on Uber. It took a few attempts to defeat the boss and watching a walkthrough on YouTube helped. I was kind of bored with the game after that and I forgot there was challenges where you earn points for kills. The hardest challenges for me were WulfBurg Square. I got stuck on that one for like 3 hours. The other challenge that I had trouble with was Workshop. It didn't take long as WulfBurg Square, but it was a much smaller map and harder to react sometimes with enemies. I wanted to complete this before the PS5 released and that I did, a few hours before I received it. Thanks to JoeFenix for his challenges guide walkthrough: Spoiler Edited November 14, 2020 by Ghost added thoughts

Popular Post SirDave1988
# 120 + 100% Star Wars Battlefront II (PS4) Platinum TrophyObtain all trophies Difficulty - 9/10 Game Rating - 8/10 This is likely going to be my final platinum before the launch of PS5 over here in the United Kingdom and being a huge Star Wars fan, this is a pretty good way to see out the generation, although I will still continue to play all the Playstation legacy formats going forward. I'm well aware of the massive backlash that this game initially received upon it's launch with all the lootboxes and locked characters and whatnot. As a result, I didn't play the multiplayer too much at launch and more so focused on the single player aspect. I don't really remember too much of it as it was about 2 1/2 years ago but from what I recall, it was fine, nothing too dramatic but perfectly serviceable and told a good story. The multiplayer now in 2020 is really good fun. It looks absolutely stunning still, it plays quite well and conveys a really authentic Star Wars experience. Plus now that most of the microtransaction crap has been removed and you get a more logical system progression, it's an all round blast for Star Wars fans and covers all 3 trilogies. It is a shame that DICE have cut support for the game at this point as there is still untapped potential, but what there is, I did enjoy. Trophy-wise, it was a mixture of grinding and difficulty. Single player was fine, but some of the online trophies were a right pain, made slightly easier with the right strategy. Probably the hardest one was taking out the Hero ships with the Fighter ones, an infamous one that people who've played this probably know what I'm talking about. Then, there was the grind to Level 50, which was thankfully shorter due to the Co-op mode on 2x and 3x XP days. Overall, I'm happy to have only the 5th ultra rare plat I've earned over the past 12 or so years of doing this and I would absolutely be up for a Battlefront III one day or some derivative of that. See you all on PS5! Edited November 12, 2020 by SirDave1988

Popular Post dieselmanchild
Platinum # 177 - Yooka Laylee - (“Collectomaniac”) 3D platformer “Yooka Laylee” has been on my to-do list for quite some time now, so it was great to finally get a chance to play this when I noticed a copy on shelf at my local library. First off, I thought the story behind the creation of this game was pretty interesting! It was developed at Playtonic Games, by a group of former employees of a company called Rare. Rare was big 20 years ago and known for the development of many classic Nintendo 3D platformers like Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong Country, and the Conker games. In 2012, this group of devs signalled their intention to create a spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie, and kind of a nostalgic throwback to all the classic 3D platformers that dominated that era and of which most of us grew up playing. They started a Kickstarter campaign and managed to raise an enormous amount of money afterwards due to the enthusiasm of fans who desired a game that could recapture the magic of those old 3D platformers. And thus, Yooka Laylee was born. This game really is a love letter to those old games in every way, both for better and for worse. There’s not really any innovation here at all, but rather a collection or classic tropes from the genre. You can expect just about all the features and gameplay mechanics that one would typically see in these types of games, even right down to the wonky camera/controls and the type of hair-pulling frustration that goes hand in hand with many of the mini-games, arcade sections, and boss fights. As long as they go into Yooka Laylee with modest expectations, and a desire to reminisce about the golden era of 3D platformers on the N64, I expect most people will find this game quite enjoyable as I did. If you like this genre, then I would definitely recommend checking this one out! ? PS - If anyone has played Yooka Laylee: The Impossible Lair after this one, I would love to hear what you thought about it! The developers apparently abandoned the 3D world model, and instead created a 2.5D side-scrolling adventure (much like a game like Trine for example). But I’ve generally heard great things about The Impossible Lair and it seems a lot of people feel it is even better than the first game. Popular Post Trini
#131 - Astro's Playroom This game took center stage and demonstrated that's it's way more than just some third-rate game sony handed us; it felt truly engaging with a lot of memorable interactions and fun moments, and if this game is anything to go by with just what the PS5 controller is capable of, then we're in for a hell of a new generation of gaming to come.
Popular Post Snoeijske
Platinum #29 Tom Clancy's the Division Completed it in 4 years, 7 months, 4 weeks Platinum rarity 11,33% Another game on my backlog where I got a lot of the trophies years ago but then stopped playing. I only needed two darkzone trophies. So I decided to install the game again to get them. With a boosting partner it was done in a couple of hours. For those who haven't played it yet. It is a great game! Next stop is MLB the show 18. Have been playing it a lot the last couple of weeks and there is only 1 trohpy left. It is kind of luck based (I need to break a bat), but I'm hoping to get it this evening.
Popular Post Gommes_
#116 The King of Fighters XIV THE KING OF FIGHTERS I really liked this game and how it plays. The amount of playable characters is huge and the game is packed with stuff. I also like the graphics which, if I am honest, kinda look like graphics from the PS2. It's so weird to me that this game is not bigger, since it has so much to offer. On the other hand, the trophy list is awful. Too grindy, too boring and uninspired. Getting the platinum is not hard per se but rather annoying. Finding 5 other dedicated players who want to play 100 matches will be the platinum breaker for many as the game is not that popular. In general the majority of rare trophies are tied to the online part of the game. Offline can be dragging, since you have to play the Arcade mode for 27 times and each time takes roughly 25 minutes. However the trials are not hard and everything else was okay too. In Conclusion it is a very good game for people who are into beat em ups with a rather bad trophy list. Popular Post Cal
Dead Island - Definitive Edition This was a fun game! Though it had some glitches, awkward animations and not very good voice acting I enjoyed it, I love the setting of a zombie apocalypse happening on a resort island and not in a city for the billionth time the game defiantly had a very eerie feeling to it when you play by yourself and the sound the zombies make gave me chills every especially the ones that run after you but play it with others and the game can be quite fun! I was surprised to see that the online for this game is still pretty active, I got all the co-op trophies by just playing with random people. My favourite trophy is called "How many days exactly?" where you have to play the game 28 days later after first playing it, a little reference to one of my favourite films 28 Days Later however it also is my least favourite because well...you have to wait 28 bloody days just to unlock it. I won't lie I cheated with this trophy I set my ps4 date one month ahead and just launched the game, I could not be bothered waiting because I got other things to do and other games to play then wait for one trophy. Now...what on earth is happening with Dead Island 2?

Popular Post madbuk
#395 - Tokyo Xanadu eX+ After playing Ys: Memories of Celceta and Trails of Cold Steel 1 & 2, I was informed that this game exists, which combines my favourite element of Ys (the combat) with the Trails of format. And that sounded like a perfect match to me, because I'm not a fan of the combat of Trails but really enjoy everything else about it. Now that I've played it I can agree that that is exactly what it is, and for the most part it's very enjoyable. However, it does outstay its welcome. This eX+ version features extra side stories after every chapter and an extra after story after the original game finishes. These all felt rather pointless and made the game feel a bit bloated. If anything I wish they had taken the after story content and put it in a sequel so that it could have actually had proper development because it felt very rushed here. The game also sets up for a sequel but it has been 3 years and nothing has been announced (or hinted at afaik) which is a bit of a shame. Padding aside, the story is nothing special but it's serviceable with a decent cast of characters. Despite the story feeling badly paced, I do like how they spaced out the acquisitions of new party members. They never felt like they were introduced too late but also it didn't rush to give you them all at the start either. This was a nice way to pass the time until I'm able to play Ys VIII on PS5 - I've decided not to play it on PS4 anymore because it turns the console into a jet engine - but overall I think I prefer Trails and Ys to it. It has the best elements of both franchises but fails to surpass them.
Popular Post Puppeter04
53 - BORDERLANDS Hello helloooooooo Finally! I'm a Borderland defender! I played this first time back in 2009 Christmas with my cousin, we had a lot of fun But this time was a solo-journey except for the coop trophies (I did them with my wife) and the "And they'll tell 2 friends" that I boosted it (SirBuncelot if you hear me, I appreciate it a lot!!!!!). So, the case, I love FPS and I'm pretty good so this was a walk in the park, I died 2 times I think (Soldier + good weapons = invincible) My 2nd playthrough was different, I died a lot more, but because I wasn't careful and wanted to finish it fast, oh, and I missed the chance to do the med-kit glitch so I was kind of angry. Anyways, there are some pros and cons about the game, in my opinion: PROS: - It's super fun, especially if you play with friends - You have a lot to do and is not the same repetitive stuff - The cartoon design always make a game fun - Is not difficult if you are smart, don't do a mission if it says "difficult" or more, just wait until it says trivial or normal - Easy to understand - Pretty good characters (not the ones that you can control but all of them) - Upgrades, find stuff, RPG's feel is always NICE. - 95% of us, have already played it, so it means somethingCONS: - The story, yeah you have a main mission but I was left wanting to know more about the characters, especially TK Baha - If you go crazy, you will die a lot and losing money is not funny -There were some stupid secondary missions (but it didn't take away the fun), diary search, scavenger... -Reaching lvl 50, why? I'd understand if you give me other missions, but the same stuff again? it's the same only this time the enemies are stronger. It didn't bother me because I really like the game, but if you are one of those that it bothers them, do the med-kit glitch This is an overview of my opinion. Summary: Fun: 8.5 / 10 Time: I have no idea, but +40h for sure Diff: 2/10 first playthrough, 4/10 second one

Popular Post El Duderino
Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Final Fantasy XIII is such a poorly designed game. Even after ten years, this game still makes me sick. It is without a doubt the worst of the 3D FFs. If ever anyone lumbers up to you, mumbling about backtracking being not so bad, show him the post-game of FF XIII. And the camera - especially when riding a yellow chicken - is simply vomit-inducing. Popular Post Pershing24
Boy, its been a while since I've posted on this tread, but here are the last few platinum's I got this summer up until now. #58 The Red thread Unravel First up is this simple platformer that is surprisingly really good, especially its environment and movement mechanics with the thread attach to your character allowing him to swing back and fort and backtrack easily. Reminds me of a less depressed version of LIMBO, and yet it was published my EA. The platinum was pretty easy, the only challenging trophies are for getting all the collectibles in each level, as well as not dying for each levels. I do recommend this game for beginner's, especially if you like platformers games, too bad the sequel is alot harder. #59 Master Assassin Assassin's Creed Syndicate This title is certainly one of the easiest in the Assassin's Creed series, as it has no multiplayer or online co-op mode, and most of the trophies are pretty straight forward. This was certainly a lot more bearable and lest glitchy than Unity, but its too bad that its also one of the most boring AC game as there's not much substance in the story or the gameplay. Weak villains, forgettable convoluted plot, and one of the worst twist reveal I've ever seen in the Jack The Ripper DLC. I must say, after playing this game, I see now why Ubisoft had to change the formula for the series and went the RPG route. Still, this is the 4th game of the series that I've platinum, and the most modern setting to date, but definitely not the best. I'll eventually play AC Origins next, but I need a break from all these open world action games, let's hope AC Valhalla's redeems the series much more than Odyssey. #60 Hero Killzone Shadow Fall Last, but certainly not least, is Killzone Shadow Fall, probably the rarest platinum I'll ever get as it currently stand at 1.70% rarity on PSN Profile. While not too hard skill wise, its still a long and grueling game that you got to be committed for a long time to platinum it. Beating the game on hard difficulty without dying was pretty tough, but it's the multiplayer grinding that is the most tedious. Unlocking each ability 11 times is quite a chore, especially on official servers as other players are very competitive and so you'll rarely get 3 kills with say the drone or the stunt ability. The best method of course is to get a boosting servers with some friends, or just grind on bot servers online as the AI is... well incompetent. I'm just glad this game even has bots, as it feel like it would take an entire year just to get 'Jack Of All Trades' trophy legibly. Its rather fitting that I got the platinum now, as it is the first PS4 game, and now that the PS5 is release, its a whole new generation of gaming that starts now!
