Popular Post RotatingCube
#134 Assassin's Creed Unity Whoo boy. This has to be my least favorite AC platinum yet. The main story, although a bit derivative, is fine. The coop multiplayer on certain missions is new to the series and can actually be fun. Everything else you have to do for the platinum is awful. You don't have to 100% everything but they chose the most boring parts if you wanted the platinum. I mean opening almost 300 chests with more than half of them locked? Enigma puzzles with hints that require you to look for obscure landmarks? I would have preferred if they let us do the Paris Stories/ Murder Mystery side missions instead. It doesn't help that the parkour controls are terrible. Arno almost autolocks on anything climbable. Great if you have a straight clear path up or down but frustrating if you want to do any move that require a bit more finesse. Seriously, it shouldn't take this much effort to climb through a window.

Popular Post James Tiger
#155 Resident Evil 4 Fun - 10/10 Difficulty - 7/10 (9/10 if without using any items from bonus content shop) Time - 69 Hours (lol) Without a doubt, RE4 Remake is an incredible game. The remake really exceeded my expectations, and it’s pretty clear that Capcom spent more time and effort developing this compare to RE3 and RE2. It won’t replace the original, but RE4 Remake stands toe to toe and is a great modern representation of the story on its own. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND and were literally getting the ENTIRE resident evil series remade. I can’t wait to see what they do for RE9 when they do it (My only complain was the bear trap, Seriously...wtf is with all the bear traps? Who decided to put that much of bear traps in the remake deserve to step on a real bear trap.)

I've already played and completed this on Xbox, but noticed that this was on PS+ Extra so I gave it another go. With guide it only takes about an hour to finish this, but I would recommend to play this first without any help. I also did enjoy the surprisingly touching story, which is kind of subtle. Definitely worth a try, especially if you have PS+ Extra subscription. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10
Popular Post VLAAMINGK_N1
Platinum #278: Trackmania Turbo Rarity: 0.66% Total hours played: 50-55 hours Difficulity: 9/10 Fun: 8/10 It was time for another challenge, and back in the days when I started my journey as a trophyhunter I didn't read any guide about this game. It came with playstation plus and ofcourse the game had quite some easy trophies to pop without much effort (around 15 trophies). But then I started to try the first 2 tracks back in 2018, was I wrong that this was going to be a walk in the park. So I just gave up as this felt literally impossible to platinum this. It went into the backlog for a very very long time with 15 popped trophies.. Now as of today: 02/04/2023, I can say that I've earned this platinum with alot of practice, patience, dedication to stick to it. This game was worth it after all, it was hard ofcourse but also the tracks are so well made and the atmosphere was so nice to play in. Red and black tracks ain't a joke for sure, but with practice everything becomes possible even tho it looks impossible. I recommend this game to everyone that loves a challenge or loves racing games in general. People that play a lot of racing games may have an advantage after all. But me as a 'rookie' racing guy that only played easy Need For Speed games and Driveclub 100%, managed to pull it off, so that means you can too ? The Goat... Ratchet and Clank 3 is one of the best R&C games if not the best one, I remember spending a lot of time playing this game as a kid when coming back from school, this game is incredible pretty much, the humor is amazing and one of my favorite aspects of the game, the characters are great and the combat is really fun and awesome, there is a huge arsenal to use while shooting your way through the galaxy. The story is the best of the 3 classic ones in my opinion, Nefarious is the number 1 enemy of the series from this point forward haha. Totally recommend playing this trilogy, it was amazing coming back to these classics! The plat for this game was pretty cool, basically follows the same path as the 2 previous games. There's nothing special about this one, but some tricks I can give anyone going for this plat regarding the 10 million bolt farm is that whenever you do the metropolis route, at the end of the planet the game will automatically save, so instead of going back to the ship just load up your save and you'll start right from the beginning, saving a lot of time. I underestimated this games, I thought this plats where going to be pretty much effortless like the Spider - Man games but I was very wrong, this games have very easy plats but they require a lot of stuff, nothing difficult or special, but they sure require a bit of effort and dedication. I have forgotten how this games used to be, since I know how the R&C have become really mediocre in the last entries in the series, I hope Rift Apart kept the essence of this classic games. If anyone is looking for 3 awesome games to play this trilogy is a nice choice! And with this my Ratchet & Clank trophy hunt ends... for now. See ya in the next game! Awesome job! Congrats on an excellent plat. Popular Post Arzoden
------------- PLATINUM #104 | Stray ------------- Stray is a very laid back adventure / Puzzle / Semi action game I must say i enjoyed this quite a lot, there is a few collectibles but it's not really a lot and is easily done with a guide. Also the speed-run is not that hard tbh, i did it in 1 hour and 30 minutes with the trophy being for 2 hours or less. Stray takes place in a world that is now dominated by the Robots? And they seem to have their rivals witch is the Zurks... I won't say to much due to spoilers but the story get's better and better as the game goes on and i actually paid attention to it a lot of the time, where as other times i do not at all care for the story because the trophy priority dominates my mind. But for this game that was not an issue. It has very creative and unique gameplay that you do not see in other games, and overall it only has 1 slightly difficult trophy being the Can't Cat-ch Me Trophy, but even this gets easier when you learn how to overcome it. This journey is filled with exciting moments like, friendship building, betrayl, Sadness, and lots of beautifully made scenery that matches the vibe of the world they were trying to make. Also the controls and camera movement is very smooth, you don't jump just as high as a real life cat would but this is for the sake of trying to prevent a lot of death and glitches / Bugs i believe. All in all i really enjoyed this and i would have to give it a 8/10 on the enjoyment scale, i'm glad i played it and i recommend everyone to play this at least once before you die ? Popular Post Undead Wolf
#444 - Resident Evil 4 Cuz Boredom Kills Me Obtain all trophies. I'll preface this by saying that the original RE4 is one of my all-time favourite games. I've probably played through it at least a dozen times over the years. This remake was never going to replace that original game I hold so dearly, but I will say that I was very impressed by this modern adaptation. I think where it really succeeds is in its gameplay (at least for the most part). You can still do the cool melee attacks from the original when an enemy has been stunned (even the suplex made it in!), but they also added to it with stuff like being able to sneak up behind an enemy and stealth kill them, parry enemy attacks with your knife (really satisfying when you pull it off), and of course you can now move AND shoot. ? It feels awesome to play. Best combat in an RE game yet! I was a little disappointed that the laser sights can only be used with a few weapons unlike the original where it's on every gun, but that's a minor gripe really. What isn't a minor gripe though is what they did to Ashley. I'm not talking about her new design or personality which I actually quite like, but rather her AI. They made her much more unpredictable in the remake. She no longer sticks right behind you like she did in the original even when I've commanded her to do so, and that makes running past enemies extremely difficult. This isn't something you'll really notice on the lower difficulties (I barely even noticed Ashley was there on my first playthrough on Standard), but she was the bane of my existence when playing on Professional mode. I lost track of number of times I failed because of her, either because she got grabbed a mile away from me which made me have to turn around and run after her recklessly, or she'd run in front of me when I'm shooting or throwing a grenade. This wouldn't be so much of an issue if they kept the "wait" command from the original game, but someone at Capcom in all their wisdom decided to replace that with a "hang back" command instead where she still follows you just at a greater distance. Totally useless. I feel like Ashley's knight armour is pretty much a requirement on higher difficulties to stop her being a problem. At least it is if you want to stay sane. But anyways, you can put your combat skills to the test in the shooting range which has also seen an overhaul. That bonus round music is a banger! ? Instead of winning bottlecaps like in the original which were just for show, in the remake, you can earn tokens instead. These tokens can be used on a gachapon that reward you with charms of different rarities which is another addition to this game. You equip them to your case and they give you various bonuses like increased ammo from crafting, more health gained from herbs, etc. It helps add to the replayability since it's randomized each playthrough what you'll get. I also loved what they did with the merchant. They expanded on the medallion hunt from the original game to make it a while merchant request system throughout the game. Not just medallion hunts, but also stuff like killing an optional "miniboss", or selling him X number of snakes, etc. He'll reward you with spinels for completing these tasks which can be used on a seperate menu to get some cool items, so it's worth doing. For all this game does right though, where it disappoints the most is in the character interactions and the personalities of the different antagonists. Gone are most of the codec conversations in the original which is where a lot of the hilarious dialogue was from. It feels like something major is missing when you don't have Saddler and Salazar shit-talking you over in the codec calls. Hell, you don't even see Saddler at all until much later in the game which is weird given how he's supposed to be the main antagonist. Even in cutscenes, all the characters in this just feel a lot more bland. We still get some cheesy one-liners from Leon, but it's nowhere near as often or as funny as it was in the original. I'm also not a fan of what they did with Ada. Her voice acting is pretty bad. It's a night and day difference when you compare her to the original VA. I mentioned earlier that I liked what they did with Ashley's personality, but I think they went a little too hard into the whole "stronk independent woman thing". Like I'm supposed to be this badass government agent here to save you. ? One character who they definitely improved upon though is Luis. They gave him a lot more screen time and development which I was really happy to see. I just wish Leon warmed up to him a little more in this. I really enjoyed going for the platinum in this game. There's the typical stuff you would expect like getting all the collectibles, completing all merchant requests, etc. Then you have the trophies that put some restrictions on you best saved for a NG+ run. So stuff like competing the game without using a healing item, use only a handgun and knife, and beat the game without talking to the merchant. I decided to combine those 3 into one playthrough on the Assisted difficulty, and apart from a few annoying encounters with the dogs and novistadores, it wasn't so bad. One of the weapon unlocks you need for a trophy is tied to beating Professional difficulty on a fresh save without using bonus weapons which is the most difficult part of the plat. I decided to make it harder on myself though and go for the S+ rank which unlocks the S+ rank trophies for the Standard and Hardcore difficulties. To get S+ rank on Professional, you need to beat the game in under 5 hours and 30 minutes while using 15 or fewer saves. I won't go into that too much since I talked about it in a recent status I made, but this proved to be pretty damn stressful, especially since I wasted a bit too much time in the village section and my poor save planning meant that I had to replay some sections quite a lot. Getting S+ rank on Professional without using bonus weapons isn't required for the plat, but it does cut down o the number of playthroughs you have to do. Still probably took longer though given how many times I died, but I'm still glad I took this more difficult route. It felt really satisfying when I actually pulled it off. Great way to end my plat journey. ? This remake does have some problems, especially when it comes to the characters like I mentioned, but there's a lot to like about it too. I had an absolute blast with it and I commend Capcom because you can tell a lot of love went into this remake. Still, there's only one true RE4 in my eyes, and that's the original. When I'm in the mood to replay RE4 again, I'll be sticking with the 2005 version.

Popular Post reaperveteran86
Platinum #332 Railway Islands Railway King - 57,25% A short puzzle game, where you must place hexagonal tiles with rails on it in a way, that a train can run from point A to point B and collect goods along the way. The game isn`t very long (50 puzzles) and starts easy, but gets more complex in the later levels. It was a fun game and the price was fair for what it is (4€ normal price on PSN). The game has a few online trophies for playing on user created maps and so on, but they all can be achieved without a PS Plus membership. Platinum #333 DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition Platinum Trophy - 7,52% The (2.) black sheep of the DmC series. Gameplay wise I found it really fun, with the standart moves in combination with the angel and demon moves, but story wise this game tries too hard to be edgy and has dialouges that were written by a 12 year old (Succubus: "Who are you?", Dante "I´m your prom date, your ugly sack of shit" followed by the two yelling at each other with an inflationary use of the word "fuck"). Also, why are all characters in this game act like assholes (with the excaption of Kat, the DmC girl of this game)? Thankfully, for the multiple playthroughs, that are needed to get the platinum, you can skip most of the cutscenes, so that the fun gameplay doesn`t get too much interrupted by the cringe dialouge. Platinum #334 Gungrave G.O.R.E. (PS4) Beyond the Grave - 13,11% Like the two original games on the PS2, GORE is very repititive (you start the level shoot everything that moves and not moves until the level is completed and repeat this for 31 levels) but like the other two game I really liked it and it gets allmost mediative after a while (similar to something like Dynasty Warriors only with guns). You notice, that the developers must be fans of the originals, as there are a lot of references to them and you can even unlock an old outfit for Grave (player character) or the character Bunji (DLC via free update). For the platinum and 100% the game has to be completed for 4 times, which wasn`t that bad, because the game isn`t that long and one playthrough can be completed in a day.
