Popular Post Lilseb93
#63: Fallout 4 Difficulty: 5/10 Most of the trophies are easy. You just play the game and do all the faction missions and the main missions. The difficulty comes from the length. You have to collect several things, hack, lockpick, do 50 misc quests, get settlements to 100 happiness, ect., which can get very tedious and annoying. ESPECIALLY getting 100 happiness in a settlement. I also got bored throwing 50 grenades to summon the planes to do the misc quests. Most of the trophies are fun. It's just a few of them are ridiculously tedious. One of them requiring so much frustration over a bronze trophy. Enjoyment: 9/10 While not as good as 3 or New Vegas IMO, it's still a great game. Fallout is one of my favorite franchises and this game definitely didn't disappoint. I normally don't put this much time into a game unless I really love it. I'm too burned out to do the DLC so I'll jump back into the game at another time. I can't wait for the next entry in the series. We'll most likely be seeing Fallout 5 or whatever it will be called on the PS5. Edited January 4, 2017 by Lilseb93
CloudsInHead
#18 - Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintinde Great graphic, could use a better name, but whatever, great game, great community and much more in depth than I thought. I thought this was going to be an "unobtanium," just bought it because I'm a fan of GOOD Warhammer games... was wonderfully surprised when the game exceeded my expectations. Definitely going to keep playing, the strategic combat is addictive and, with a good team on Cataclysm, it can actually be fun =] Thanks to many, wouldn't have been posting this if it weren't for some really awesome and generous individuals.

The programming in this games is so bad, it makes it far more difficult than it would be with decent programming. I had way too many bugs that forced me to restart some trophies, delete the game and download it again. I never should've listened to the person who recommended this to me. Popular Post Viscera1900
#161 - Deus Ex: Mankind Divided #CantKillProgress "You experienced Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and collected all trophies. Congrats!" Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 5/10 The story is bit weak and really short compared to previous game, but the gameplay itself was fun. I love stealth action games and the best part of this game is that you can complete this game without killing anyone and being seen by enemies (even boss fights). The story mode trophies are easy to earn (with collectibles guide ofc). Completing the game on the hightest difficulty(perma death mode) is doable; just make sure to save very often, so you can undo your mistakes if necessery. The Breach (I Never asked for this mode) trophies can be challenging, confusing, boring and annoying at times, because the game freezes alot during this. I never asked for this #9001 Edited January 4, 2017 by Viscera1900

Popular Post Cleggworth
#154 - Batman - The Telltale Series I'm Batman I'm no Batman connoisseur so I wouldn't know if Telltale had committed heresy in the eyes of big DC fans with this game but I quite enjoyed it. Not on the level with The Walking Dead in my eyes but better than the disaster that was Game of Thrones. I liked the detective mode segments as, although fleeting, they gave you something to do other than long sequences of QTE's or conversational choices. I also appreciated the choice of approaching situations as either Batman or Bruce Wayne. It was still plagued with the usual telltale gremlins mind you, Horrendous frame rates and the occasional crash but on the whole I enjoyed my time with this game.

YT-Switchblade
Day of the Tentacle Another pretty awful month for PS+ but this was an easy plat in under 3 hours, really tedious and one trophy made you play with a certain song on for the whole game and it was so short and repetitive that I had to mute the TV, this game is nothing special but an easy one to start 2017 off with.
Popular Post helloiamniven
#53 I Am Setsuna A Tale from a Land of Snow 18.79% Rare Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 I do love a good JRPG, and this is at its core a good JRPG. My overall experience playing the game was definitely a positive one. I'll go through some of the things I liked and didn't like. The music was probably my favourite aspect of the game. It matches the tone of the game perfectly. The music is all performed by what sounds like a single piano, and the way that tracks transition into one another is really nice. Given the story (which we'll get to in a sec) there is an overarching sense of foreboding throughout the game, and although it's strange to explain in writing, the music invokes this feeling, yet also providing a glimmer of much-needed hope. The fact that this is all done with such minimalism is testament to the strength of the soundtrack. When it comes to setting, if you don't like snow, don't play this. Everywhere is snowy. The whole game is snow. Personally I'm a fan of it. The art direction in the game was in my opinion stunning, and I never really bored of it. One thing I did bore of very quickly though was the dungeons in the game - there are a few of them, and to be frank, they were quite shit. All of them were almost identical, uninspired, and just really dull. Linearity in games is not necessarily a bad thing, but this was not good design. You'll know what I mean if you've played this. Luckily they don't take up too much of the game, but there was one dungeon near the end of the game which was just such a slog. This game is clearly inspired by older JRPGs, which is a good thing. However, as the adage goes - 'everything in moderation'. The same should have applied to this game in two regards: its story and its battle system. These two aspects are the bread-and-butter of a good classic JRPG, and both of them are thankfully good. Howeverm as I've alluded to, there were issues. The story of this game is, give or take a few details here and there, the core story of Final Fantasy X. The battle system is that of Chrono Trigger. Both of these games are brilliant - FFX has my personal favourite game story of all time, and Chrono Trigger has an undeniably fantastic battle system. But this game isn't those two. It isn't as good. They tried to make the battle system too convoluted in order to differentiate it, with confusing terms such as 'fluxation' and 'singularity', which were both poorly explained and poorly implemented. Even though the script was well written, the story lacked the heart of FFX's, and I found that even though I enjoyed the story I didn't really end up caring too much about what happened to the characters. Having read that back, it seems more negative than positive, but you should play the game if you like JRPGs. It is a good game. It isn't groundbreaking, and it has issues, but it's a nice love-letter to the games a lot of us grew up playing, and I'm glad I played it.
Popular Post Cake
# 85 It's all Relative Collected every trophy. Congratulations! Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 First plat of the year and it was a very enjoyable one too. I played the demo for vita some time ago and I was going to get this for Vita, but it was around the time the Remastered version was announced. This game has just the right amount of challenge (from some of the challenges) to keep you determined to overcome them, without making you feel you can't win. The last challenge I did was the Rift Plain Inferno race. It wasn't part of the base trophy set, but I wanted to get all of the DLC trophies before the plat. Took me maybe an hour to do, with each attempt I was getting better at it. I finally did it with almost 3 seconds to spare. It felt awesome to get that done finally. Any downside to this game would have to be the camera. It's gets really wonky at times to the point where you fight with the camera more than the enemies. During some challenges it just really annoying. Overall the game was great. Looking forward to Gravity Rush 2.

Popular Post Tanuzomi
#56: Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Victor! "Gamindustri's got nothing left to offer you! Thanks so much for being awesome!" -Neptune Thehe and with this game done I only need to finish up PP and Noire's game to have all done for now. So Victory was a very nice game compared to the Re;birth 3 game it has also it's pro; (no Stella Dungeon love, Items you crafted are asap in your inventory instead of buying them from the store as in Re;birth, Dungeons are unlocked via Scouts not per plans) and contra's; (For me the drop rate was hella bossy even with the LV5 chip here as in Re;birth, Lv up was also not that fast as I did it in Re;birth) but it was an overall very well done game. As... of course every Neptunia game, the story was not that long and the ED branches was in my eyes smoother than it was for mk2 as the game had only 3 available ED's. The money and item trophy where faster done as expected today and the last remaining Lily-Ranks, too. <- like every Neppu game starting with mk2 these are mostly the grindy trophies but yet not so grindy as they always sound. Now as my next goal I will start PP then by tomorrow to getting soon then another remaining Neptunia game done Unfortunalety... it was until now also the last Neptunia game where Uni is playable :'(

Popular Post AJ_Radio
# 56: Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (January 2nd, 2017) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement: 7/10 To kick things off in the new year, I finish Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. You play as the Prince, a young man who is determined to save his kingdom from the enemy. His brother, Malik, is also determined, but has a different approach. However things go downhill as Malik awakens King Solomon's army, a horde of undead soldiers made from dust and sand. It is up to the Prince, in other words you, to save the kingdom of Persia before all is lost. In my opinion, I feel this game could of been more. Unfortunately the story is one of the most predictable and cliche I've had to endure in recent memory. There are no twists or turns, nothing to keep me glued to my seat. Basically it's the same sort of story you would find in a Disney animated movie or a Dreamworks production. Things seem to be going okay in the beginning, then a new threat arises and it's up to you to stop it. Pretty boring if you ask me, because that's what the entire story entails. The game takes on a more modern approach to platforming. Like the old Prince of Persia game from a time of yesteryear (1990), the primary appeal is solving a few puzzles and dodging and jumping through several traps to reach the next destination. In the early game these traps and platforms are easy to take note of, but towards the end they become considerably more difficult. You run across walls while avoiding spinning blades, you avoid swinging axes, you try to run across spike traps that are triggered by your feet, you grab onto a pillar and jump onto the next, and so on. Early in the game you get access to the power of time, which you will be using more often than not because chances are you're going to mistime that jump sooner or later. Then to make things a little more difficult and interesting you have to freeze water, and in the late game you have to be good at it. Eventually you will come across several waterfalls and pillars of water in succession, hitting the buttons on your controller in a very timely fashion while you swing across (similar to Jak and Daxter). The Prince of Persia games puts a lot of focus on platforming, and that is the main appeal. Combat is basic, yet somewhat satisfying. Early on you will fight human enemies, but shortly thereafter the only enemies you will be facing is Solomon's army. These range from your standard skeleton soldier to the towering giants whom take many hits to destroy. The combat is very easy to get used to and is more basic than your usual God of War fare. You wield a sword, you have your basic fast attack and a strong attack which you must charge. For fighting the army you get experience, which you can use to make your sword attacks stronger or gain access to new magic. There are four forms of magic, which can all be made stronger through the upgrade screen. Basically you fight enemies and gain experience. Experience is also gained through sarcophagus you find throughout the game. Be warned that if you happen to miss one and the game autosaves, you must play the ENTIRE game over again as there is no chapter select nor the option to save at any time. A mildly entertaining title, but nothing special. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is short, the story can easily be beaten in around four hours. There is also challenge mode which puts the Prince up against eight waves of enemies. This can easily be played to gain whatever is left available in the Upgrade Screen until everything is unlocked. My main enjoyment out of this game comes from a little platforming and a little combat. The protagonist seemed to enjoy commenting by himself, which seemed amusing but got a little annoying after a while. I can't really recommend this game if you don't enjoy heavy platforming, but even if you are bad at it you can still easily beat this game. There were a couple tricky parts in the game where I had to rewind time and eventually die to start over, but nothing is overly difficult. There is hardly any replay value after beating the game once, so it's probably best if you can manage to rent it for a few days. Let's hope the Prince of Persia trilogy is a bit more entertaining.
Popular Post TheFinalEmblem
Platinum #72- MegaTagmension: Blanc + Neptune vs. Zombies Another fun game from my favorite non-serious series. It was so nice for Blanc to finally have her own game, though I didn't care too much for Neptune being shoehorned in, like she is in every game. It has its ups and its downs compared to Neptunia U, but I feel the ups outweigh the downs. Plus, there's no way I could dislike a game that stars Blanc as the main character. Popular Post fabmorais_2011
Dragon Quest Builders (PS4) Perfectionist Awarded for earning all of the other trophies. I had so much fun with this. I'm a long time die-hard Dragon Quest fan, but even I wasn't expecting Builders to be this good. Trophy-wise, it's an easy plat, although it does require you to know what you're doing to get through the speed runs and challenges. There are rumors about a sequel, and judging by the warm reception this one got I don't see why not. A couple of things could be tweaked on a probable DQB 2 however: 1-The chapter structure works, but devs could come up with another way to keep the gameplay challenging other than forcing you to start from scratch each chapter. This annoyed me less than I expected, but I can see some gamers being put off by it. 2-Separate inventory for healing itens, with one-button use and the ability to map it. Not good to scroll through materials to get to that healing herb in the middle of battle. 3-Although I understand combat is not the focus, you should have the ability to dodge/block. Monster attacks would need to be less telegraphed as well, which would be good since on this one combat boils down to slashing the enemy and getting away while he charges his attack. These are all small tweaks, but they would go a long way towards improving the experience, IMO. Edited January 5, 2017 by fabmorais_2011
