Popular Post Viscera1900
# 171: Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back The N. Credible Crash Bandicoot! Collect all the Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back trophies. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 A truly blast from the past. This is my very first PS1 game I've played back in the days. I never managed to get 100% completion before, because back then; Using internet to search tips & guides wasn't so common thing to do and some of the secret levels were hard to discover, but I'm glad that I managed to it this time around + getting those Gold Relics from every level.
Cellcrash1991
#37: Late Shift Platinum Trophy Acquire all trophies Enjoyable, but I like the story of The Bunker more. Probably because I like bunkers more than Chinese porselain.
Popular Post TheFalseDeity
#26 - Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Champion of Ivalice Collected all other trophies. My 3rd favorite of the series happy to see it on the Ps4...if only all of them would come ;_; As it stands im still not a fan of the job system and wouldve preferred the original board with the added changes but overall its still improved so life goes on. And am currently at 15th fastest to plat though i imagine that will change since its still relatively new and i took breaks and did some needless grinding for some bazaar stuff. As for difficulty...the job system absolutely shreded any natural difficulty the game had. Mass hp bonus' and damage boosts right at the start for all but one of the six starting classes i had. I didnt even need to heal on bosses for a good while. And then the other changes to trivialize the bulk of optional content - no damage cap means Yiazmat isnt a 2 hour fight anymore and theres also 4x speed to cut it further, also means less time for something to go wrong vs Omega. There are new strongest weapons of each type and the strongest of which can be obtained in infinite supply following the 2nd boss which you can use to further god mode through everything if you wish. And to top it all off theres now auto save every time you zone anywhere so no loss of progress ever even if you did mess up horribly on something. Also 4x speed cuts the plat time significantly if youre a length=hard kinda person. Original board wouldve pushed things even further but what can you do?
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#158: Code Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ Another PS+ freebie that turned out to be more entertaining than expected. The game is an otome VN, but it's at least 100 times better than the other otome VN freebie Amnesia Memories. This game doesn't force you into a relationship with one of the potential romances. The story and setting are a lot better and interesting too. It takes place in a steampunk version of London in the 19th century where alchemy has been used to improve the daily life of humans. The game starts with a mysterious group hunting the main character. The main character's has the ability to melt pretty much anything she touches due to a strange poison in her blood. She's saved in the nick of time by gentlemen-thief Arsène Lupin. Together they search for a way to rid the main character of her poison. Other notable characters that appear in this game are Van Helsing, dr. Frankenstein, Saint-Germain, Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, Queen Victoria, and even Jack the Ripper. Some characters I didn't like were Impey Barbicane, Nemo, and Finis. I also hated how Finis was a guy, but cross-dressed like a girl. Most character are interesting and especially Saint-Germain's route is one of the more interesting ones. There were lots of moments in that route where I was convinced things would lead to a bad ending, only to find out it was all part of the true ending route. What I also liked about this game was that the bad endings aren't required, so I could jump right into the true ending for each character. The real true ending route in the game wrapped things up nicely. Though the routes tend to drag on a bit when they reach the end and I usually found myself skipping dialogue just to get it over with. All in all an entertaining story.

Popular Post JaM
#185 and #186 Salt and Sanctuary Saltborn Achieve all possible trophies. Well that was fun. I haven't played any of the Dark Soul game but I do played and loved lots of Metroidvania games so I know from the start that I will love this game. The game being Cross-buy and having 2 separate trophy list is the icing to the cake. I messed up my first run and missed a trophy on my second run but I really didn't mind. I still had fun from start to end. Just one gripe though... Map - I easily get lost in these type of games and map is definitely my best friend in my adventures in these games, not having it makes me spent more time being lost and figuring out where to go next . anywayyy... would recommend to anyone that loves Metroidvania and also, if you like this type of game, make sure to check out Unepic - well, not as dark as S&S but it is also a very fun game to play . Popular Post Condemned09
174 Stories: The Path Of Destinies Gray fox is my pup You have explored the Path of Destinies. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment:6/10 I had this game on my backlog for some time, I finally decide to play this game. Personally this game was nice for a while but it gets very repetitive. You play as Reynardo the fox, who at war between the Emperor and the Rebellion, you side with the Rebellion and travel the world searching for powerful weapons or rescuing your friend Lapino or try to charmed the Emperor daughter. While exploring the world you have to make decisions that can change the outcomes of the game, the game has 25 endings and you need to get all 25 endings to get the platinum. So be prepared to replay this game 25 times.Overall the game is enjoyable to play especially if you enjoy getting easy platinums.
Popular Post madbuk
#211 - Driveclub VR Virtuoso Because I loved Driveclub so much (honestly, it's probably my second favourite racing game behind WipEout HD Fury), I decided the first VR game I should play is Driveclub to see what it's like. I... I don't really get what VR added to the experience besides a wonky camera and a large post-game grind? But oh well, it was still a lot of fun regardless. Level 60 was quite a grind but honestly it was shorter than I was expecting. Also, the gold star requirements in the campaign felt like a joke compared to some of the original DC DLC. It's such a shame that Evolution was shut down They didn't deserve that, and neither did Studio Liverpool who developed WipEout HD Fury. Sony doesn't like good racing games I guess, so they'll continue churning out those Gran Turismo games instead I should get Driveclub Bikes at some point, that 8 player trophy will be a pain though.
Popular Post black__bunny
# 33 Medal of Honor Well, 6 years and 8 months later I finally have the plat for this. I decided to go back and finish this up recently after deciding to try and fix up my horrible back-log. The SP was pretty basic and quick to run through with the only real difficulty was trying to finish each level under time. The MP is the most difficult part of obtaining the plat due to the fire controller trophy. Besides that, I actually found the MP enjoyable and liked the maps and modes. The max rank is only 15 so it really doesn't take too long to rank up and is easily done naturally. My one big grievance with this game was the MP is region locked, which for me meant that even when there was 100+ players at times, I was placed into empty games. It was frustrating as hell as meant it took all that much longer to plat. The game is still very platinum-able with a decent level of mp activity so by all means, give it a go while the servers are up and functional. On a a personal note, this is the first plat I've earned in just over a year. The last 12 months have been some of the most difficult I've ever faced and I had pretty much lost all interest in gaming, amongst other things I enjoyed. In the last few i months, I slowly found my way back to gaming and trophy hunting, as I started putting my life back together. It was sad to have such a long absence but I'm happy to be hunting once again Edited July 23, 2017 by black__bunny
Popular Post Phyro_Arsonist
#17 Champion of Ivalice Collected all other trophies. After 76 in-game hours, I got this baby to pop up! Honestly, I enjoy every second I put into the game. It's not as difficult as I thought it would be due to the dual job system now. I guess it took me that long because I got sidetrack for a quarter of the time doing other stuff in the game. Overall I would say the game is great and you should really pick it up if you don't have it yet. Edited July 23, 2017 by Phyro_Arsonist
Popular Post JavaNext
#40 - Horizon Zero Dawn Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I really enjoyed this game and I love how the first new IP from Guerrilla in over a decade is a masterpiece. The main character is great, I personally went with the logical (brain icon) choices throughout the game as I felt she would be a more rational person rather than an emotional one, and it turned out to make a lot of sense story wise. The gameplay also very good with good amount of tools and options, I just wanted a bit more variety in the Machine department. I recently came back to this to finish Ultra hard on new game+ and it was a bit of a cake walk so if you want an easy and fun plat/100% this is the game for you. #41 - Persona 5 Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 7/10 This was my first Persona game and I have to say it makes me want to play the previous games in the series. The HUD and menus aren't something I usually notice that much but in this game it adds SO MUCH to the experience everything is so slick and stylish its crazy. and the soundtrack is amazing aswell. The gameplay is interesting as it's easy to learn but it has a good amount of depth too if you want dive deeper into it. I disliked the calender mechanic at first but it isnt much of a problem if you manage your time properly and its also necessery for the story as it moves along a school year. Every character in your group has relatable motivations and they don't feel too cartoonish which I feel is not always the case in JRPGs. #42 - Crash Bandicoot: Warped Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 8/10 This was indeed a "Blast from the past", the sheer amount of nostalgia is N-sane... I really enjoyed playing this again and finally finishing it as I didnt have a Memory Card back in the PS1 days and I never managed to complete it in one sitting And seeing Crash Remade was awesome it looks like how I thought the original games looked. The time trials were rage inducing at times... Maybe its personal thing as I strongly dislike time constrictions in any game. This trilogy is a must buy for fans of the original games.

Popular Post snakebit10
I have earned 2 platinum's over the last 2 nights. Short but interesting games. #220 N.E.R.O #221 Late Shift I enjoyed both for what they are. N.E.R.O had a sad story to it and if you like games like Everyone's Gone to the Rapture than you may enjoy N.E.R.O also. Late Shift was my first live action movie/choice type game. Never played The Bunker but would be interested to do so in the future.

Popular Post WorldOfSheeps
After (almost) a month without gaming I had to compensate it this month. So far I have obtained 5 Platinums this month with my most recent one: Tricky Towers. #26 - Tricky Towers - Grand Master Wizard So, in this game you have to build towers with falling bricks… that is basically the whole game. But it can be pretty ’tricky’ when you are at the last 10 trails. The rarity of this Platinum is a bit misleading tho, it has been a PSNPlus game. The difficult part is to keep your patience and focus till RNG is on your side (especially for the “Complete trail #50 without losing a heart.” Trophy). Also notable, there are hardly players in Online mode what leads to endless search sessions. On the positive note, if you have obtained every other Trophy you can win almost every match. It just takes so damm long to find a… Besides Trail 50 and its Ultimate Wizard Trophy (that single Trophy took me a one and a half day) I have had great experiences and will it be one of the few games I see myself playing after finishing it. Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 (would have been 8 without the Ultimate Wizard Trophy) Edited July 24, 2017 by AshesToSnow
gypsymuffin
Platinum #45: Ratchet & Clank: Nexus (PS3) The Pride of Fastoon Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyable Ratchet and Clank game. The trophies were pretty easy. Died a few times on the final boss on Legend difficulty, but not too bad in the end, especially so with the upgraded weapons. The only really annoying trophy was the grind to upgrade all the weapons to Level 6. Really enjoyed it though.
