Popular Post Carol
#109 36 Fragments of Midnight Platinum Midnight Become a master collector This is a little Vita game that you can plat in a couple of hours (or even less). It's a short experience and a simple concept, but it's not a bad game. It's a good game to relax with after a day of work or school and I definitely had fun with it. It's also very cheap. The trophies are very easy, once you get the hang of how much you should jump in order to overcome the obstacles that the game presents you. The objective of the game is to collect 36 fragments and then to return to the point where you began. You will be able to do this quite easily and fast, after a bit of practice. The one thing that I didn't like is that when you accomplish your goal (return to the point where you started with all the 36 fragments), nothing special happens. Instead, your character just kills himself. Couldn't the developers be a bit more creative when you get a win?!

Yeah, I've been cleaning up the backlog a bit. I'll be hitting a bunch of RPGs soon though, so the platinums will only increase slowly then.

DisturbedIsMe
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana It was an amazing game, clocked in a little over 100 hours. It could be done quite a bit faster, but I was enjoying the game, and searching for every little thing.

Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #118 Lili: Child of Geos Master Botanist Earn All Other Trophies This was a decent game. Finally got my Limited Run copy in the mail a few days ago. Not a long plat, but I did have to start the entire game over since spirits wouldn't appear for me after a certain point and I needed 3 more for those trophies. :/ Rematches didn't count toward it. So that was really fucking annoying. But I enjoyed it overall. Looks pretty nice for a mobile game port. Super repetitive, and the gameplay itself isn't too engaging. But it was an easy plat.
Popular Post scarishbal
#139 - LEGO Legends of Chima In my whole life I never imagined a bad LEGO game. First off, you don't need to find/purchase every character plus you don't need to buy every red brick ----> NO 100% TROPHY. THEN extra characters you buy can be used in STORY MODE! Which means you probably will replay at least half of the game. I mean you have to find three character tokens for a trophy and treasures (2 per level with 10 levels in total) So. This game is based off of the TV show with the same name (which only lasted 3 seasons) but the games graphic remind my LEGO Batman (released in 2008 and Chima released in 2013) for the DS. Picked the game up for $7 but played it for the LEGO PP. So if your looking for an easy game I'd recommend it.

Popular Post Falken-N7
#9 - Biosplattered Man, what a game Resident Evil VII is. Really really enjoyed it, took me quite a lot for the Platinum since I dropped it at a certain point to move on to other games, but I couldn't let this trophy there. All I had to do was another Madhouse run to obtain all the Antique Coins...and with all the NG+ items, it was a cakewalk. Unlike my first Madhouse run, where the only NG+ item I had was the Albert 01-R. That run was a pain, but the satisfaction it gave me is yet unmatched. Amazing game indeed, don't let anyone tell you "it's not a RE game". It is, under every aspect.

Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#168 36 Fragments of Midnight 11 Golds and a Platinum. It's the Terminator Salvation of Vita games ? Whilst I enjoyed this game I have to say that the frame rate was horrible. It felt as though the screen was juddering as I was guiding Midnight across the screen. It's not enough to stop the game being enjoyable but it is distracting. I really enjoyed it overall. For £2.49 I have no complaints apart from the frame rate. There are otherwise no glitches in the game and I didn't experience any crashes or freezing. For what you're getting, I thought the price was fair. The trophy for collecting all 36 fragments in 6 minutes was a fun challenge. It took many attempts for me to nail it due to the procedurally generated nature of the game that changes the layout of the level every time you play. I eventually got lucky with a level that had been generated for me as i was given one filled with all of the easier traps which enabled me to finish it in 5 minutes and 17 seconds. My last few attempts before that had been in the 6-7 minute range. Seeing that winning time on screen along with the final two trophies popping was a very satisfying moment indeed ?

Popular Post Terra
#97 Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed You did everything you could do in Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed!"Congrats, completionists! Maybe I'll see you in a canonical game soon!" Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7.75/10 This was my first entry to the world of Hyperdimension Neptunia. I can safely say that it's made me want to play the the first three games in the trilogy because the characters are what make these games worth playing to me. Each have their own distinct personalities and mannerisms that made me either love them or hate "dislike" them. My top three favorites based on this game alone are Nepgear, Neptune, and Blanc. I hope to see more of them when I start the first game but I have to decide whether to play my PS3 copy or look to buy the Vita version based on its enhancements. Either the case, I will play it. Combat in this game reminded me of Senran Kagura and it was very easy to get into and perform some excellent combos. However, the big drawback to this game is the insufferable Lily Lord trophy that took me almost an additional week of playing to obtain. I would have rather had a trophy for just maxing out the lily ranks for one candidate/CPU but nooo...I spent my whole afternoon grinding this out dealing with corrupted saves on top of it. I'm just glad that it's over now and I hope the later games aren't as grindy as this one or at least offer more things to do to past the time. A great game overall and a good introduction for the series to me.

Popular Post backslash240
Platinum Obtain all other trophies, and be an all around Zed slaying machine Killing Floor 2. I´m glad this game came up free on plus, cuz i really like this game! I guess getting a year subscription was worth it haha. And yes the game can be classified as comfort food, but that´s one of its charms. Actually i play a match before playing Overwatch, it kind of fixes my aim for some unknown reason. Anyway i got a lot of stuff to do, gotta keep going!

You did everything you could do in Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed! "Congrats, completionists! Maybe I'll see you in a canonical game soon!" And another Neptunia spinoff down... Got this during a sale since I didn't feel like paying full price. Overall, it was alright, fun story with decent but repetitive gameplay. The lily grind was painful... and for days I thought I didn't get the Event Master trophy because I never saw the notification for it (either I must have looked away, or the popup didn't show for some reason) but I found out I had actually got it after the platinum popped after getting the lily trophy.

Popular Post Sunflower
#83 - The Sexy Brutale Picked The Sexy Brutale up on launch after seeing all the 9s and 10s given to it by reviewers and finally got around to it many months later. I absolutely loved the soundtrack and the concept was new and refreshing. While the ending maybe could have had a bit more added to it, the revelation at the end was still fantastic. A hidden gem that everyone who is interested in murder mysteries should definitely look into! #84 - Clannad Clannad is one of my all-time favourite visual novels and why it's never come to consoles in the west still baffles me. So when I saw the Japanese PS3 version really cheap I had to pick it up so that I could own a physical copy. Playing with google translate and the Steam translations alongside made it easy to understand and enjoy years after playing the fan patch released on PC years ago. It's definitely worth it for the After Story included alone! #85 - Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada To be honest I really wasn't going to bother going for the platinum, mainly because of the RNG for the battle accessories but somehow I lucked out and managed to get four of the secret treasure bearers one after another (I feel like that's all my luck used up for the year now ). Spirit of Sanada was a really fun entry in the series, with the addition of stratagems and towns to visit and interact with. Objectives felt a lot easier most of the time compared to previous entries too. Oh and Adult Yukimura is OP as hell. ?
