Popular Post Jelly Soup
#150 - Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart This was a real treat. It was so nice to have another game in this series. The game is beautiful, the OST is magnificent (still think Up Your Arsenal has a better OST, but) and the story was fun. If was a bit bummed that Challenge Mode wasn't required for platinum beyond just getting the final weapon. Story closes out with some interesting implications, really hoping for some follow up DLC or better yet another game. This is one of those series that I will greedily ask for endless iterations and be happy to sit down with them all. Fun story, I initially got my PS3 and PS4 so as to play the then new or upcoming Ratchet & Clank. I decided that I wasn't going to do that for the PS5. So: Me: Hey dear, I was able to get a PS5 from that e-mail thing. Him: Nice. Pick out some games? Me: They only had a few, so I had to pick from what they had. Him: Right, right. You didn't want to get the PS5 just for R&C like the previous two systems. So...what game did you get? Me: Ratchet &.....oh son of a bitch...

Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#184 Fallout: New Vegas Platinum Trophy Collect all other 50 Trophies for this Trophy. Just like Fallout 3, I played New Vegas on pc long time ago. This was my first time on a console and unlike fallout 3 I found few glitches and freezes, but towards the end of the story, every 10-15 minutes, I had to restart the game because I had crazy frame drops. Apart from this, everything else was ok. But most important, to celebrate the # 10.000 (!!!) trophies milestone, I chose a cool one. I think it is self-explanatory, haha Pros Only Enjoyment: 9.5/10
Popular Post Jelly Soup
#151 - Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered & #152 - Energy Cycle (PS5) Nothing super duper here, just cashing in some free PS5 upgrade auto-pops I had sitting around. Spider-Man is going to need a little more attention to 100% since there are a few new trophies. This version of Energy Cycle has all the trophies from anything other than puzzle mode. That's a quick way to fix errors, I guess, just remove the most noticeably offending part.

Popular Post MarcusPunisher
Platinum #158 - Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart 67.77% - Common Finally, a full blown on triple AAA title for PS5 to explore the new features, playing with no limit as Sony likes to say, the future of next gen gaming starting with this title. How was it? It was....good. I did like the game, especially the aspects that are implemented with the PS5 features. The new controller response just makes certain actions (platforming in this case) so much fun and I thought that was gonna be a something I turned out because of the gimmick, but it really works. It's hard to describe unless you try it yourself, but as a guy who always turns vibration off on any games, this is a great feature. This games also makes set pieces look more interesting. I love the planet where you can switch on and off the timeline that leads to different puzzle elements and that in terms creates better level design. I'm also glad that there something going on in the conversation unlike the constant shot-reverse-shot from 2016, especially with Dr. Nefarious who steals the whole show. That said, I have few cons. Some of them involved the rifts, that give you additional challenge rooms for cosmetic rewards, but these room never felt like they fully utilized the mechanics in Ratchet's or Rivet's gadget arsenal. It was the opposite for me from the world levels where these felt uninspired and frankly pretty easy. Then it comes to the story. It was serviceable, but with many caveats. I like Rivet, she was probably the best new addition. Ratchet somehow feels more like a blank slate than in 2016. Clank is kinda just there and his female counterpart feels more like plot device to established forced conflict that could have easily been resolved. I can also count so many contrivances with the story and that would not be including the various multiverses. I know that I shouldn't be expecting a good writing from a game made for babies, but some of it can be just off putting. When you establish that a tiny robot can transform to a destructive large Iron Giant, I will question why that same robot can't break from a cage that barely has any force field. I can probably point out more instances, but the story didn't do much for me and it's probably not the main focus for these games. The platinum is super easy to earn without much trouble. I've seen that being criticized, but I do not mind an easy platinum for a bigger title. There are certain games where I feel the spiked challenge is appropriate even for the platinum, but some games are just made for to be more relaxing and I don't see any issue with that when it comes to easy platinum, as long as you had fun with the game. If you are seeking one for bigger titles, this is definitely a one. In short, I had fun with the game. The platforming and different set pieces were a lot of fun. The story, the characters, and some of the additional "challenge" rooms not so much. This is a one and done deal game for me that I don't see myself revisiting like the 2016, but it was a one that I still enjoyed, more so than the 2016 and that I think is still good for a game like this. Sony send me an email that there is a certain reward for the platinum, but all I got so far was a sense of pride and accomplishment so if there was some kind of tangible reward, I didn't get it lol.

I've played this game like any other souls game which is going with a huge weapon get as much HP, Strenght and Endurance as possible and swing away. I've finished the game without touching a single spell in my books . My main strategy which completely dominated the game and made most bosses a 3/10 at most was killing the very first open world boss called Tree Sentinel who drops a weapon called Golden Halberd. This boss took me over an hour to kill at lvl 1 but the results after that were just amazing. Golden Halberd requires 30str/14dex/12faith. So I cleaned every dungeon and side thing I could find before going into the first main boss and before I knew it I was already walking with +30strength and my new weapon. After that it was all straight forward and 1 shotting most bosses with this crazy weapon. For anyone interested in the stats at max upgrade its: Physical 328+331 Holy 213+60 Attribute Scaling Str: B Dex: D Fai: D Top 3 hardest fights for me were: - Final boss (~10 attempts) - Commander Niall (~5 attempts) - Open world orange dogs who can cast spells. Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #750 Persona 5 (Vanilla) Milestone 750th Very Rare: 9.98% Difficulty: 3/10. Enjoyment: 10/10. Challenge: 10/10. Music: 9/10. Story Mode: 9/10. Genre: Adventure, Action, Fantasy, RPG, Hack and Slash, Beat em up, Persona, Comedy, Romance, Harem, Ecchi and Murder. Total Playtime: 120 hours. Grind Difficulty: 9/10. Platinum Time: 3 weeks and 1 day. I really enjoyed Persona 5 despite of the mass grind that coming to get at me like hell endlessly. This took a little while for me to get everything done by the book and quite frankly it was painful as fuck. From what I know Persona 5 can be a bit slow and it's because this is the original before Royal change everything for the better. I had my work cut out and honestly dealing with completing the Persona Compendium, maxing out social stats which is extremely important when going for the confidants, completing ALL mementos quests, oh yes here's the annoying part: Listening 250 quotes from Futaba was the only thing that hold me back for the platinum and other objectives included. Man even my body is going on jelly mode right now and yes i can pretty much withstand the worst grinds I ever did. Persona/The Twins: I had to gather and performed numerous Persona fusions and get the powerful Personas in my collection when getting things done. The Twins didn't really put up much of a fight and took my time beating them down mercilessly. I feel pretty dam good defeating them and got the trophy done and done. I have gained everything I needed and completed on Persona 5 and now I can be ready to move on to my next objective. As for my screenshots, unfortunately I wasn't able to get them all including the platinum screenshot but I can show you Persona 5 Royal screenshots that I have earned from the past. Persona 5 Royal Trophy: Phantom Thieves: Assemble! Spoiler Persona 5 Royal Trophy: Pure Perfection! Spoiler Persona 5 Royal Trophy: The Search of Power! Spoiler I am very satisfied that I am happily I got this platinum milestone out of the way. 3/4 done so far and 1/4 left until I begin Crypt of the Necrodancer for my 1000th platinum milestone and it won't be much longer now until then. Highly recommend this game. Next Platinum: ???
Popular Post Viscera1900
#332 - Scarlet Nexus (PS5) Woven Red Threads "Obtained all trophies." Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Completion time: 59 hours / 2 weeks, 4 days (PSNP) I loved playing this game; It was fun to play and story & characters are interesting enough to keep me focused. I started my first playthrough as Kasane (female), since most people started as Yuito (male) on their first playthrough; I wanted to have slightly different experience with this game compared to majority of Scarlet Nexus players. Trophy wise it's really easy game to complete and nothing is missable after you complete the game with both playable characters. I'd definitely recommend this game to people who love anime type games with action RPG gameplay mechanics.
Popular Post VLAAMINGK_N1
Platinum #200: I am bread Rarity: 0.36% Total hours played: 15-20 hours Difficulity: 9/10 Fun: 5/10 It was time for a challenge again after completing mein leben in wolfenstein, this time I took a even harder challenge based on the rarity of this game. I am bread is quite a clumsy simulator where you are flinging around as a slice of bread, baguette, bagel and going into zero gravity mode. To top it of you also have to be a cracker that is on a hunt for cheese.. By far is the cheesehunt category the worst, and I can tell you it's just one level that will screw you over for a long time (Garden level). This is a familiar feeling with the learn curve from surgeon simulator. At the start it's a pain, but once you start to get the hang of it you will progress quite fast through the challenges (with alot of patience and practice ofcourse). Same developers, love some challenges, but surgeon simulator was way better than this in my honest opinion. Long story short, you can achieve it if you have some steel nerves and the patience to beat these levels and master the mechanics. I only recommend this game for the challenge, not for the gameplay or 'fun'. As for me there is nothing special besides the challenge for myself to have the ultrarare plat. Special thanks to @Bushido_Cypher for the top-notch videoguide he dropped for this game, makes it more doable and has some great tips to get through the levels. Popular Post nestamar5
Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped The N. Vincible Crash Bandicoot! Platinum rarity: 10.54% 100% rarity: 4.56% 9/10 Despite this game having some vehicle missions, I still enjoyed this game greatly. This is one of the few Crash games I didn't get to play until I had buying power, so I'm not attached to it as much as Crash 2, CTR, Twinsanity, etc. The game isn't too difficult to platinum but I was surprised that the trophy list has a number of humorous trophies rather than skill based. Collecting everything was expected, but shooting Fake Crash with a bazooka? I probably would never think to do that myself. Popular Post theSpirae
Platinum #61 Time Played 10 hours Difficulty 4/10 Rating 6/10 I still remember playing the original Shadow Warrior back in 1997. It was one of the better FPS games from that time. I was happy when they announced rebooting the series and enjoyed the new SW1, played it on PC first when it came out and had a blast. It captured that old-school FPS vibe. I even bought it again on PS4 and played it again. Played the second one on PC only (still waiting on sale on PS4) and had high expectations for the third installment in the series. I'm afraid my expectations were set a bit too high. I'll start with the positive one. The combat is improved, it's smoother and feels like a mixture of Doom and Bulletstorm (the aim is occasionally a bit wonky). If you enjoyed the humor in the first game, it's pretty much the same. It might be pushing it a bit too hard this time but it's to be expected. The reason I'm giving it only 6/10 is that the game is extremely short. I played it twice and spend extra time finding collectibles. You can easily finish the game in 4 hours. There's no chapter select after you finish the game, there's no option to track collectibles (collectibles are used to upgrade your skills and weapons so pretty useful) so you have no idea where you missed that one damn orb and you have to replay the whole game again (happened to me). One challenge was bugged for me, had to restart the game a few times to fix it. It feels like they released the game too early and/or they plan to release additional content via DLCs. I got the game from PS Now so I'm quite happy but if I paid the asking price of $50 I would be pissed. It's a fun game, I still recommend it but get it either via PS Now or wait for a heavy discount.
Popular Post KenjiCBZ
#70: WipEout Omega Collection Transcendence (1.21% - Ultra Rare) Earn all the trophies in the game Probably my hardest Platinum, and surely one of my proudest: I'd say it's there with Fall Guys. This game has the fame of being very difficulty, and so is its Platinum. A lot of people claim that this Platinum is easier than the two single Platinums of the two games composing this collection (WipEout HD for Ps3 and WipEout 2048 PsVita), while others claim the opposite: unfortunately, I can't have an opinion on this because I have never played these two games, and likely never will. However, no one can deny that, by default standards, the Platinum for the WipEout Omega Collection is still very hard. I'd say that if it's not a 9/10, it's a solid 8. First of all, I want to talk about the few things that actually ease the difficulty a bit. The first is that the Trophy regarding the hardest races, called A+ Event, only require to win one of them, and not all of them: if they were to require you to beat all of them, the difficulty would surely spike up. The second thing that makes the whole game easier is the auto-pilot function: it's a function thought for beginners, and makes the ship automatically stay away from walls/holes of the tracks, making you proceed through a straight line. This function is actually a double edged weapon, because driving in such a way is counterproductive, in some races: in fact, most people (Including the author of the Trophy Guide available on this site) recommend NOT using the auto pilot function. However, after testing both with and without it, I sticked with using it: I just drived better, it was suited better for me. Now, let's talk about what makes the Platinum Trophy difficulty. Basically, you are required to beat two difficult developers times. and to Elite Pass every event in the 2048 Campaign and get a Gold Medal in every event in the HD and Fury Campaigns. Getting an Elite Pass and getting a Gold Medal have the same meaning: basically, you are required to get first place in races, get very good times in time trials/speed laps, and very high scores in the other various modes; the requirments for the Normal Pass and Silver/Bronze Medal are, instead, much more forgiving. About the two developer times, they are set by a guy named Zico: the two times are both of roughly 30 seconds, and trust me, those 30 seconds feel like forever, you have no idea of the things you have to pull off. When I started the game in 2020, I already did have some experience in racing games, mostly in the original Ps1 Crash Team Racing game: however, I instantly realized how difficult this game was, since I was mostly unable to get Elite Passes on the first campaign, the 2048 Campaign. The Platinum Trophy was a mirage to me: to motivate myself, I decided to test my racing time trial skills developed while playing CTR and to try beat the first Zico time, in the 2048 Campaign. It took me 4 hours, but I did it: I felt very happy, and I started to believe that I could get the Platinum. But as I kept playing, I realized it was out of my reach: I wasn't skilled enough, and when I finished the 2048 Campaign, the number of the Elite Passes I had achieved was very low. Instead of cleaning the 2048 Campaign up, I decided to progress through the game and start the HD Campaign. My God. The HD Campaign is surely the hardest out of the three: this is because for some reason the AI is extremely hard to beat, completely brutal and, I'd like to say, unfair. Most races are based on luck and RNG, based on AI behaviour and on which weapons you get and when; around that time, I tried to beat the other Zico time, but failed after hours of attempts. In the meanwhile, I was unable to progress in the HD Campaign due to what I thought was bad luck, I totally burned out and I even made a bitching thread here on PSN Profiles. Give it a read if you want, it's called "This game is unfair". My thought hasn't really changed even now that I have the Platinum, the AI in the HD Campaign is just dumply unfair and makes most races feel completely random. So, I burned out and deleted the game from my Console. One year passed, and in 2021 I decided to return to the game and try get a luck dependant Trophy that is very easy to get if you have a second Controller. I did not have a second Controller back then, but in the meanwhile I had bought a PsVita, so I used it as a second Controller to obtain the Trophy and I was succesful. In the meanwhile, I said: "... Why not" and I decided to try returning to the game for real. I was able to make some little progress in the Campaign, but I quickly burned out again. However, in the meanwhile, I was able to beat the Zico time! Actually, I did not beat it, because I set the exact required time: 30.82 seconds, but to obtain the Trophy doing so was enough. My heart was beating in a way you have no idea, during the last few seconds. So I had reached a no return point: I had beat two very hard time trials Trophies, but I was unable to make progress in the HD Campaign because of luck based events. I accepted the fact that I could never get this Platinum and moved on. Some months later, here on PSN Profiles, I befriended @Destructor-8 , and I congratulated him for his hard racing Platinums, including this one. One day, I don't remember why, we ended up chatting again on PSN: we talked about games and Platinums, and this game came up. I explained to him what my struggles were, and he encouraged me to try again and he gave me some tips for the brutal HD Campaign. I thanked him and promised him I would have eventually returned to the game. Months later, I was so bored while playing Horizon Zero Fun (Sorry, I had to), that I decided to stop playing it and move on to another game: instead of purchasuing a new one, I decided to return to the WipEout Omega Collection. For some weird reason, during all of these months without playing, I had got extremely better than before and I somehow rushed through most of the remaining events of the Campaign: I did have some struggles on the latest events of the HD Campaign (Which are the hardest), but unlike during the past two years, when I was losing I felt like I did have some chances to succed. I don't know, not playing the game for a whole year made me better at it So, eventually, the HD Campaign was over, with every Gold Medal achieved. Next, was the Fury Campaign. After having played the HD Campaign, the Fury Campaign is nothing in comparison: I'm not gonna say it is extremely easy, but it is actually extremely easy if in comparison with the HD Campaign. Plus, the fact that is it the third Campaign, so that you play it after a lot of hours of practice in the game, does help. Here in Fury there are some new events that are very luck based, but nothing unforgiving like in HD, and only take few tries. I literally rushed through this Campaign and obtained every Gold Medal with ease. Now, what was left for the Platinum was to go back in the 2048 Campaign and get the Elite Passes I hadn't earned back in 2020. As I said, I had improved a lot during the past two years, and I sort of rushed and got most of the Elite Passes with ease. There is only one 2048 Event I was struggling with: Zone events. In Zone Events, your ship moves forward automatically, with no way to slow down, and gets faster and faster every 10 seconds: every 10 seconds, also, you obtain one point, and if you hit the walls or you fall down off the track you lose health; your goal is to obtain the required number of points without dying. Back in 2020, I used to suck in those events, but since I had improved a lot, I was finally able to Elite Pass them: some were still very hard, and took me hours of attempts, but others were easy. In particular, I was able to Elite Pass one of them first try, and the last one needed for the Platinum only took me three attempts. About the difficulty, my ratings are these: -2048 Campaign: 8.5/10 -HD Campaign: 9/10 -Fury Campaign: 6/10 -Zico 2048: 8.5/10 -Zico HD: 8/10 Out of my 70 Platinums, this is perfectly tied with Dragon Ball: Raging Blast as my 2nd rarest, with a rarity of 1.21%, only behind WWE 2K18 (0.73%). Also, since it took me 2 years and 2 days to earn it, this Platinum is my second slowest, only behind Knack, that took me 2 years and 10 months. However, if we also count 100% games, WipEout drops to fifth place, because of Horizon Chase Turbo (2 years and 1 month), Brawlhalla (2 years and 9 months) and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (3 years and 9 months). I am extremely proud of this Platinum, and I have to publicly thank Destructor-8 for it, who also followed me and kept giving me advices for every single race I was struggling with: if it wasn't for him and his advices, I would have never got this Platinum. And he would have never encouraged me, if I hadn't congratulated him for his hard Platinums: be kind to the next, and the next will be kind to you Thank you, my friend!
