Popular Post RoxasOnFire
Platinum 328: Street Fighter X Tekken Difficulty for most the game is 1/10 however there are some mission modes stages that are were straight up 9/10 for me. First of all I suck at fighting games, why I even attempted this is beyond me as I've spent so many years going back and forth to it. It's a grind in terms of playing so many stages but isn't that all fighting games are? Trophies were pretty straight forward but some of those mission mode stages absolutely destroyed me. I'm sure veteran fighters would have an easier time with it. Great roster though and interesting gameplay with tekken characters playing street fighter style.

Congratulations man, it's been two years and I still need to beat most of the missions, it's the only trophy I have left for the Platinum. Any tips? I am actually a really good Tekken player but apparently I do suck at Street Fighter
Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
#56 - Dragon Quest Builders Difficulty - 3/10 Enjoyment - 7/10 So this game has been on the radar for me for some time now. Shoutout to @Rebourne07's Difficulty Challenge event for giving me some impetus to actually move on it since it nicely fit the 3/10 category. The game is like Minecraft which is probably obvious from 4 seconds of looking at it, but it's a lot more linear and outside of its own free play mode it is very narrow in how it wants you to actually build the world. That's fine though because what freedom you are given within the story chapters was enough to evoke in me a great enjoyment of much of the time I spent with the game. There were times I did not want to have to set the controller down to go to sleep, resulting in actual regret the following morning on waking up for work, but not really doubting the decision lol. The game is broken into 4 chapters and a free play mode, the latter not being necessary for the platinum. Each chapter counts in-game days which go toward a challenge for beating the chapter in a certain timeframe, as well as keeping track of 4 other chapter-specific challenges. These include raising your base to its maximum level (4 or 5 depending on the chapter), killing certain enemies, doing secret quests, etc. None of the challenges are difficult, though some require some help from a guide if you don't feel like durdling around too much. The speed run aspect to the game is also comically easy which was nice for me because speed runs make me anxious. The guide assumes I think that the player will be following their own heart in how best to tackle the maximum day limit per chapter, but I followed the heart of a speedrunner and finished significantly faster than what was required. For instance the day limit in chapter 4 is 30 and I managed it in 9. That's not to say I was so good, just that the requirements are extremely forgiving of you bullshitting around. The """""combat""""" in the game is so simplistic it's practically negligible but I'll briefly mention it. You start the game with one attack, a standard single hit, which is the same no matter what type of equipment you're holding (except for the shovel actually). You pretty quickly gain access to a charge attack which is a spinning attack but I rarely found it useful in combat and rather employed it for destroying blocks since it destroys everything your various hammers can destroy in one blow. Swords may not always be able to destroy blocks even with a charge attack but you shouldn't be using swords for that anyway. Anyway the combat from start to finish is: Hit enemy a few times, dodge their hit, keep hitting them until they die. You can make a shield but it's purely for boosting defense as you cannot block or even roll in this game. You can move and you can jump, so that's your damage mitigation. Bosses at least are different, and each chapter ends with a pretty unique boss encounter. I would say "unique" is a nice way of putting it for a two of them but only one of the bosses is actually a pain to fight so on the whole I think they did a good job with the bosses in Builders. Learning the first two bosses is actually not a cakewalk since they really do require completely different kinds of gameplay than anything seen before or after. I liked that a lot in this game which ultimately boils down to an otherwise very limited set of gameplay functions I guess. The game is too expensive if not on sale considering it came out 5, coming up on 6 years ago, but if you can find it on sale I'd say it's worth investing in.

Popular Post Luckman
#522 - Dying Light 2: Stay Human (PS4) Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 Visual: 9.5/10 this game is glitchy at least for now until it is patched. For example, Main quest #4: The Only Way Out was glitch and I could not progress through until an hour later after I finish that quest the rest of the quest after wasn't glitched at all. The story was very solid and the characters were good is just that the glitches are what made my experience worse. I haven't platinum the first Dying Light but the movement feels so much smoother than the first and the developers took fall damage seriously. For the trophies, my first time playing the prologue and beating it, the trophy glitched on me and I have to play the prologue again after that point nothing else glitch on me. Also, My coop wasn't working, I have to use the disconnect and reconnect the internet method to get the coop trophies which was irritating. My second playthrough was going to be the collectible run I was missing a few more collectibles. One of the collectibles was from a quest that was bugged and I got no choice to join someone. The one time I joined someone's session after grabbing the collectible and backing out of the game it gives me a death loop glitch I was very furious I didn't back up my save that time and now I have to do the 3rd playthrough. My Third Playthrough will be doing everything solo and speedrunning the story and I managed to finally get it just in time for Horizon Forbidden West. The 3rd playthrough wasn't necessary for me to do but oh well.

Omelette Paradise
#536 - Telling Lies I enjoyed this game and it had a pretty unique approach to storytelling. It's hard to go into detail without spoiling plot elements but involves the player (an FBI agent) watching a series of interconnected videos from an NSA database and piecing together clues that link the four main characters of the story. The database is presented onscreen in a desktop computer format which makes it pretty immersive. I thought the acting was of good quality for this type of game.

Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 248! Patapon Remastered The Great Almighty This rhythm game is a remastered version of a PSP game, and I found it really nice, especially the graphics (quite similar to LocoRoco) and the Patapon tribe. Maybe there's too much grinding, because you can pass one or two level, and then you get stuck because you're too weak, so you need to grind hunting levels and face the previous bosses over and over again i order to collect money and item dropped by enemies, which are necessary for creating better Patapons, especially the ultimate archers, which can literally destroy everything! Yes, the purple patapon is super powerful! But unfortunately I could made only two of them, because bosses refuse to drop the super cedar, so I had to "waste" a mithril ore in order to create the second archer. And the mithril is the item related to the grind session, because you have to forge the 9 divine equipments, which require 9 mithril ore, which are (sometimes) dropped by bosses, so you have to fight a boss for 5-10 and pray the RNG. And if you're unlucky, reload the game, because every time you defeat a boss, this one becomes stronger, so you don't want to waste more time in these boss fight... Also, pray that this stupi trophy doesn't glitch. And you surely want to know the end of the story: what the Patapon are looking for... Are you serious?! The platinum screenshot is a pitch black picture, maybe the Divine Collection should have been the last trophy. I'll surely play the Patapon 2 Remastered, hoping there isn't so much grinding as the previous title.
Popular Post CaptainChurrr
Platinum Trophy #128 Assasin's Creed Revelations (Ezio Trilogy) A great ending to an awesome trilogy. The ending segments gave me chills. I said it before but has to be mentioned again! Ezio Auditore is one of the best characters I have come across. The way he explained the true meaning of the creed is just fantastic! Waited right till the end to have it fully explained, but throughout each game, they show it so you kinda got the meaning behind it. The music in this one was top-notch. The trophies are similar to the previous games but there was a really dull mode that was very boring (Lost Archive). Definitely one of my favorite games (all 3 titles) and definitely recommend it.
MissShake
#82: Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 Perfectionist Obtain all Trophies. I totally forgot that the Winter Olympics were currently going on, so it's kinda funny that I got this plat in this time frame lol. As a game this is one of the more competent sports games I've played in a while. Granted, I'm not really one who plays a lot of sports titles, but I think this game is particularly good for the casual sports fan since the events are all fairly short. If you don't have the patience to play one game for the usual duration of a match then this is for you. The online trophies might be a bit annoying, but with a boosting partner they're really simple. (Thanks for the boost, @Yuber6969!) Overall this is a fun time, but get it on sale like I did. I think it retails on PSN for $40 USD, and I can tell you right now that this is definitely too much. I got it for ten, and that's about what it's worth.

Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #542: Terraria (PS4/VITA) Played on both Vita and PS4. Got most of the help from Sessions here on PS4. PS4 sessions helped with Crafty, All Pets, Running Man. Vita multiplayer helped with Corruption, and Hallowed Trophies (Not 100% sure, maybe 1.4 Patch does not allow getting the trophies online for PS4.) Got all the slimes, NPC Volcano in Single Player. Journey mode made it easy to get the rare Rainbow slime & Pinky (Manipulating Spawn Rate, Weather). Spoiler Difficulty: 1/10 (If you have both PS4 and Vita version and help from Multiplayer. Probably 4/10 otherwise) Enjoyment: 6/10 Time: 10 Hours of Play Time (100+ Hours if it was Solo) Edited February 21, 2022 by Kishnabe

Popular Post kkulifay
Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4) Played this on the PS5 vis backwards capability. There were no crashes or trophy glitches. Played the initial play through on Survival difficultly on performance mode to get the 60 fps. When I went back to the regions to mop up the collectibles, I switched to the 4K mode and marveled at the graphics, especially for a game that came out in 2016. Survival difficulty wasn’t that bad and saved a ton of time by avoiding a third play through. The second play through is required for “Golden Child,” a very rare trophy. Thankfully, you can access the leadership board and copy other player’s cards to bolster your score. Copper Mine was the only level that gave me some grief. You have to get your multiplier up to 99 before engaging in the thick combat towards the end. It was more annoying than difficult. Unlimited poison arrow card was my favorite because it made combat feel overpowered a majority of times. The Tomb Raider trilogy is currently on sale on the PS Store for $20 and I highly recommend it! It’s such a great value and includes all of the DLC. I haven’t started the Shadow of the Tomb Raider yet, but I’m already looking forward to it because I’m such a fan of the franchise. It brings back nostalgia to years past when Tomb Raider first debuted. I can see how this series has influenced masterpieces like Horzion Zero Dawn. Next Platinum: Assassins Creed Valhalla (PS5) and Black Ops II (PS3). And yes, I’ll get that legitimately since I earned “Big Leagues” back in 2014 before I even knew what trophies were! Just was obsessed with that game back in college.
RedRodriguez87
#372: Platinum Trophy Another fun Cabela entry, though it falls on the same rank of Hunting Expeditions in terms of how much I liked it. At least requires you to play the entire game before platinum, and there is a small narrative here. However, the story is nowhere near as interesting as African Adventures and Shadows of Katmai, and in terms of gameplay, feels a lot more restrictive than Hunting Expeditions in how you earn Gold. In terms of overall package, North American Adventures and Adventure Camp still rank as the best Cabela games for me. There still exist more Cabela out there for me to try, including the dreaded Dangerous Hunts 2011, which is sitting in my drawer, waiting for me to attempt it.......
